Backyard Snorkeling!

It's getting to be way too hot here in Holland... I think someone left the door open on the oven again and it's not feeling all that nice - kinda sticky, kinda gross... In case you'd forgotten or didn't know I HATE when it's hot... I got home from my job in the city, and all I wanted was to cool down, but it's just as hot at home and I don't have a pool... Really wish I had one of those little kiddy pools, I'd be sitting in that bitch ALL DAY! 

Rudh on the other hand has a kiddy pool and knows very well how to use it... Not sure it was meant to keep under water critters in - such as these adorable MishMish Starfish or Baby Octopus, and the Atomic Ocean Plushies - but you know Rudh, she's always been a little different!

Sins Released... Sloth needs more Sleep

Today has been one of those cold, wet, Wintery feeling days. When the bad and cold weather seems to cling on for dear life and all you want to do is hide under a blanket!
Either that or its the fault of another one of those Demonic beings that were unleashed by Image Essentials, playing games with my tired little head. 

It seems like Demoness Sloth has found herself somewhere warm and cosy to take a bit of a nap... She's commandeered my adorable new Cushion Cuties - from Razzberry Inc at this month's round of The Arcade - and in fact it looks like she's wearing my new Thermal Onesie too... How rude?!I think the cheeky demon even stole my teddy?!
She's decorated her space so it feels soft and comforting, with some gorgeous dream catchers - though I wonder if they are actually catching Nightmares since she's a demon? - yet there are definitely signs of Demonic Nature to her... It's not as inviting as it should be... She's wearing her patent pending Narcolepsy Helmet, and has some rather large dark circles around her eyes, showing off her Slothish nature, but that eye in the middle of her chest... The all seeing eye... Even when she's asleep this demon is watching you...

Sleepy me needs a Spring Cleaning

Oh my gosh... I am so sleepy! HellBone had to get up early for work this morning but that shouldn't normally be an issue... The bigger issue is that we went out again last night and didn't get home till late! It's a sign that I'm getting too old for this LOL... You may remember I mentioned a Five Finger Death Punch concert last week, well that was all over the media because it wasn't their finest hour, and last night we were able to go see them again for a FREE make-it-all-better concert... IT WAS TOTES AMAZEBALLS! I'm so happy that we got to see them shine again, even if it was without front man Ivan Moody... Still enough of that rambling, right now I'm tired - have after gig sleep syndrome LOL - and just want to chillax somewhere cool today! 

Rudh, however, is being put to work... I have things to share with you, and even though she's dead tired - some might say an Insomnia Addict thanks's to the new make-up from Nightmare - she's a trooper, hence the helmet LOL...

Heart Removal

The month of Love is officially over as of the end of today, and it seems like a long wait now till the next "holiday" which is Easter. Although I'm still having a wonderful time visiting my parents at the moment, I can't resist doing something a little dark and macabre today, purely and simply to say goodbye to the month of Love LOL... I'm a bit twisted sometimes, aren't I? 
Since the month of Love is almost over, Rudh will no longer be needing her borrowed heart - what use is a borrowed heart to a Living Dead Doll anyway?! 

It was about time that she had it surgically removed! 
It's OK though, it's being preserved in a bottle - that you can see neatly resting by the removal tool on the table with her - thanks to the Mad Doctors at AsteroidBox. I do wish they hadn't left things in such a mess though, Rudh isn't the most angelic of sleepers and you never know when she's going to wake up... Maybe they should have strapped her down?! 
Is it weird that it seems more normal to see her dead and bloody like this, than wearing clothing?! The Lingerie Set from [I<3F] is so very cute, but now it's totally covered in blood, it's going to have a need for some serious washing! 
I guess Valentine's does have it's plus points, there is always something good that comes from the gory and depraved Anti-Valentines hehe... Roll on the Easter Bunny, I wonder what dead things will come from that LOL...

Why walk when you can Segway?!

I've become a bit lazy... I don't feel like doing anything much when I'm at home, with the exception of sitting around making pictures when I'm not doing housework... So it doesn't really come as a surprise to me that, aside from taking pictures, I've become a little lazy in my SL too hehe... 
I was checking out some stuff in HellBone's newly made-over store and it's a big store, I thought to myself why walk when you can Segway?! 

Yes I seem to spend more of my time on two wheels than on foot now days, either on a bike, or now on my new Segway LOL... This is a pose prop from Image Essentials, which is available until February 28th at 2nd Level. The prop has multiple poses in it and can be colour changed to suit your mood... I stuck with the pink colour, pink is evil, and it fits my mood today...

Breaking in a DIY Bed

Saturday afternoon... I've been left at home for an hour or so, I wonder what kind of trouble I can get myself into?! I do have a lot that I need to get done, but right now I don't feel like doing anything much... Maybe it will be good to take some time, read a magazine and just relax?
Not that Rudh would do it in the same lazy way I'd be spending time... I know that when she's alone, she likes to relax in a different way... 

Luckily Rudh has a brand new bed to test out and as it's such a quiet day, and she's home alone, she's going to take the opportunity to test it to the fullest that she can! 
The new bed is part of a set released this week in the mainstore of Violetility. A DIY Bed made with old wood and pipes, it feels like the perfect place for a pair of handcuffs!

Could she get an Easy A?

Back to work again today but actually I feel really relaxed, I'm liking this whole not having to go into the office for the last four days of the week kinda thing... I feel like I've gone back in time to the days of when I was a student!
Having been an archaeology student, I used to wear big baggy hoodies and jeans, usually with a layer of mud in a few places, Rudh of course, has other ideas about how to succeed in school!

When she goes to school, she plans to ace her classes with a limited amount of study it seems... Pretending to be conservative - covering her lower half in a pair of skin tight paper.arrow Cuffed Jeans - she uses her assets rather than her brains to get through school... I don't know if that's smart or just laziness on her part lol... I mean seriously, the Fucking Lovely "Virtually Famous" top does very little to conceal her best assets - in fact with the writing on them doesn't it draw more attention and is therefore a fairly smart move on Rudh's part? - and the BUENO cardigan is in fact making it worse as she's made sure it curves around the shape of her body too... She cannot help but get an easy A - so long as her teachers are male!
Carrying a Binder, which should partially conceal her scantily clad chest from anyone that would get her into trouble, she embarks on her first day as a student at Rottendam High School.

Santa's First Day Off!

Well that's it, it's actually done and dusted... The Christmas party is over and we're moving rapidly towards the start of a new year. Its'now that lovely quiet time between the festive days when you're able to sit back and digest, and to think about what it is that you've enjoyed. 
For Santa I've often thought that today would a time when he'd just let go and party hard! He's worked hard, and he's only got another 363 days until his next big day... As I've grown older, the way he chooses to relax seems to have changed and this year the not-so-fat Santa has chosen to party hard with a pair of Ho-Hos... 

By the way before anyone says anything, YES I KNOW that Ho-Hos are a cake, but aside from them tasting sweet the Ho-Hos that Santa is hanging out with are anything but cakey! Besides our Santa isn't exactly the typical fat man in a fluffy suit either... This Mr Claus is rather yummy. dressed in his Mr Sexy Santa Suit - from Crazy Kitty - and holding his fake beard in his hand, he's now finally taking some time out to sleep after his work night and day of partying is over... Looks like a great party was had, judging by all of the chaos around him and the Ho-Hos sprawled across his lap - using a sofa and pose from COME SOON called "Xmas Party" by the way!
I very much enjoyed being a Ho-Ho for this sexy Santa LOL... My sister Ho and I wore matching sweaters from epoch - which you can grab at Suicide Dollz until December 29th - and not much else besides some shiny red heels and some cute Christmassy Accessories! 
We should leave Mr Claus in peace, I think he earnt it after the last few days, and it looks like his Ho-Hos may have totally worn him out... I do wonder what Mrs Claus will say to this though?!

A Waitress at the Kinky Club

I guess I should try to get a little festive since the Christmas holiday is only 10 days away now. Today in RL Hell and I have to go out and get a tree and some groceries so that we are prepped and ready to go, but I am actually trying to resist the urge to hide in bed all day! 
Maybe I need to go out and have some fun, let my hair down and party a bit. It doesn't have to be festive but getting me in the party mood might be a start?! Rudh is always in the mood for a party, she's even willing to take on a new job somewhere that tickles her fancy - amongst other things...

Santa's Not Coming!

If you were ever a bad kid you may have been told that Santa would not come to visit. It was a threat that my parents used to make fairly often when we were little around this time of year, but actually 9 times out of 10 it was a threat that dad assures me worked pretty well... In Holland that threat can be doubled - in fact I know that some of my friends with kids love having a double weapon like this in their arsenal - because this weekend is Sinterklaas. Tomorrow, Monday 5th, is a celebration a little like Christmas. Sinterklaas may not come to visit in the same way that Santa will stay away... 
It's all very distressing for a little kid LOL... 

Luckily for me I am not a kid, but I will be welcoming my British parents over for a visit so that they can experience a Dutch Holiday like this one. It will be all about food and family and maybe if they are lucky there will be a little gift involved too! 
Yet in SL there won't be any gifts given today... So poor little Rudh can sit beside her Cardboard Fireplace - a brilliant creation from Lewd - that seems to be the only kind of fireplace that would actually be safe in the tree house! Although I get the feeling that I am being watched...

Thanksgiving À La Rudh!

Although it's not something that I celebrate, today is Thanksgiving for the American Nation. It's not something that I have ever really paid all that much attention to, or even thought about, but as all of Secondlife seems to go Thanksgiving Crazy once a year I cannot help but join in the festivities sometimes. Even if in my case it is only the craziness of the Black Friday Sales. 
Still I wanted to share with you what a Thanksgiving dinner may be like with the non-American part of the Gators MC... HellBone and I are obviously spending today as a normal day, but Lil came over for a little dinner at our place... 

The resulting chaos was pure Gator craziness!!! 
I was so hungry that I couldn't resist getting into the Turkey before anyone else had a change to even think about eating any of it... Stuffing is the best bit! I had to have some before the others took it all! As you can tell by the look on Lil's face she was more than a little shocked LOL... 
The table is actually a rather naughty prop from Lewd - buyers beware, when it says glazing the ham you may not want to eat a glazed ham again LOL - but this "Forced Feast" is actually a group freebie for a few days, until it becomes an actual on sale item! 
The rest of the décor in the house is actually the most amazingly comfy looking Autumn Nest Chair from Violetility - and a rug which you can just see peeping out under the table. These things are all on sale at the current round of Cosmopolitan, and they make such snugly looking Autumn home cosiness! OH AND just so everyone is aware, because I've mentioned the craziness of the "Black Friday Sales" already... Violetility is having a sale at their mainstore! DON'T MISS THIS ONE!

I've got that Wanderlust...

In the summer, everyone seems to be going on vacations... Travelling to explore interesting new places or going somewhere they can just kick back and unwind. It's the talk of the RL office that I work in, people constantly chatting about planned holidays and places they recommend from the past.
This year I won't be going anywhere... Least not for a while! Stuck in the position of working two jobs and not being able to afford to take time off of either, still perhaps in a few months I will be able to at least go home for a few days.
Until that time I have to listen to everyone I know talking about their planned adventures... I'm getting that feeling of Wanderlust... Perhaps that is why I've taken up residence in my Caravan more than any of the other houses I call home...

When I was younger I loved to travel. I wanted to see everything. I even jumped on a plane and flew to the other side of the world on my own seeking an adventure... New Zealand has been crossed off my bucket list, and the memories I have of that trip will remain with me always! Yet HellBone is a little less adventurous. I want to see places like China and India, he feels he wants to head to America and has this grand plan that he wants to ride to Sturgis on a Harley Davidson!
Still for now I have to make do with lazing around in my dust bunny Caravan - from the Wanderlust collection - and gaze at the Wanderlust wall hanging - from brocante which is available at No.21 until the end of the day today - planning my adventures in my mind.
Luckily because I am not travelling so much, my suitcases and trunks are providing excellent furniture pieces in the caravan... Tables and even chairs can be made from these things, chairs like this awesome mini couch from Lewd - a Trunk Seat that is available at the latest round of Cosmopolitan until July 16th by the way - so very comfortable, perhaps I will let my daydreams become nap dreams?!

BabyMetal Booger Bears

Just a short post from me today, I'm feeling better than I was this morning but damn I feel like I've been hit by a huge truck or something... Not the best of moods because of feeling ill but after a day of sleep and reading a book I feel somewhat better... Serves me right for partying too hard, least that's my story and I want to stick with it - reality is I probably ate something that didn't agree with me - although saying that I was rocking out with the band sounds much cooler right?!

The Metal version reminded me so much of the adorable RL metal band that is "BabyMetal" - and along with the Bubble and Scout Band collection they make a very adorable set! 
The other thing in their special rock show that needs honourable mention is their awesome stage prop, the Rockin' Table - shown in a Sunrise colour - from Lewd! This table is one of a collection of colours released for the Rock Attitude Fair and it makes a great furniture piece for any rock lovers house! It also makes a great table for your Boogers Bears to dance on... 
Now because I am sick I will leave you here, but since they got some mention as a band which these bears remind me of, I wanted to share some "Gimme Chocolate" and a little bit of BabyMetal!

Lewd Dust, Today's Twofer!

Since I have been a busy photographer, and not such a busy blogger, and I told you all in an earlier post today that I have a lot of things cooking in my 'to be blogged' list, I decided that today you get what I am liking to call a "Twofer" - that's two for one day LOL... 
This time I'm going to share with you two new things, one from a designer that I love and have been a part of their blogging team for a while now, and the other is something totally new from a designer that has just decided to give me a chance... EXCITING STUFF HUH?!

Starting with the designer I mentioned first, if you haven't been to Cosmopolitan yet you won't have seen these awesome Circular Lounge Chairs from Lewd. Two different metal colours are available, each comes with a HUD stuffed with different colour sets for the cushions and a huge collection of different poses for singles, cuddles and even the naughty stuff, but that's not all OH NO... Each colour comes with options to have the chair on a stand OR hanging from a ceiling! 
As for the newer designer, I was totally surprised to hear that I had been chosen to join the new blogging team for the store Cosmic Dust. Honestly, I'd never have imagined I'd be given a chance to show the designer - Mr Maxwell Lee Doe - just what I am capable of, BUT when the opportunity landed in my lap I went with it... I hope this is the first release of many that I can be a part of publicising hehe... The dress is one of a collection that comes in 5 different colour combinations from this month's new Kustom9 release. It's the Emilia Set, and I'm wearing the gray version here. Cosmic Dust seems to be home to such a wide variety of different styles of things - so don't be surprised seeing me wearing something that isn't in my normal comfort zone, I needed to be able to push the boundaries a little and I really enjoy doing so... Funny thing is that when I put it on, for some reason, I felt like I was tapping into the inner workings of my - long time ago, but always in my heart - ex daughter ShinyBubs. For some reason it really felt like I'd stolen a dress from her closet... I tapped into my inner Shiny - didn't end up able to make amazing pictures like hers, but for two items I had no idea what I was going to do with, things came together beautifully... 
And that folks, is my attempt at being a fashion blogger... I think somehow I find the artsy-fartsy stuff easier! LOL...

Getting Fit

I am by my own admission a RL larger lady - I joke about myself, telling people that I have more rolls than the local supermarket - and I am not afraid to admit that. I know that I will never be super skinny, and I count myself as lucky that I can just laugh at it, feeling comfortable in my own skin. 
Yet recently I've decided that I want to start doing more to help myself... I'm definitely not going to diet but I am going to make some lifestyle changes. Exercise being one of those things! 
I don't know about you but I find myself sitting behind a PC a lot... I work on a PC, and then in the evenings I sit behind a PC logged in to SL. I bought a genius piece of exercise equipment the other day in RL, it's an under the desk bicycle... I can sit on the PC for hours and just peddle, so far it's GREAT!
So Rudh has decided it's time to get less weedy and beef up a little too... She needs to be able to fight her own battles, not hide behind her boys LOL... Inspired by a photo she took of herself and Mongo, when left alone Rudh decided to give the weight bench a shot... 

The weight bench is part of a posing prop from the awesome Come Soon Poses. I've said it before and I will say it again, I have a few pose designers that I LOVE and these guys are on that list. Unlike other pose stores, Come Soon created their poses complete with scenes, which makes them SO EASY to use... You never need to find a set, there is always a set RIGHT THERE!! This one is the Sexy Fitness 02 Pose - available at the main store - and OK admission time, it's a couple pose, but I thought it would be funnier to watch Rudh struggle than to ask someone for help... Am I cruel?? LOL... 
The Hula Hoop - made by yours truly - the Skipping Rope - made by Lar's Workshop - and the Ball - made by Lewd - do not come with the prop, just in case you're wondering, but are some of Rudh's additions for working out with, and even though she's working out, she's dressed all cute in her Gothic Sports dress from adoness... Having to look good at all times must be hard work LOL... 
As a side note, and just to finish up here, I have decided to add the Ad Poster for the pose from Come Soon, so you can see how it would look with the couple pose as it should be... Hope I don't get into any trouble for deciding to work out alone - maybe next time the store's big buff creator could come and spot me LOL...

Letting Go... First Aggression, Next Tears!

Today I am in a bit of a bad mood... Perhaps it's because I am visiting with mother nature, or more likely it's due to the combination of that and the amount of blehish drama that is going on around me... SL really does seem to be a place where you see the way that people try to manipulate things to make themselves look better - I know it's something that happens in RL too, but it always seems less apparent - things get twisted, people get hurt and true colours are revealed... 
It's happening to me again, someone is taking a metaphorical dump on me... It's at time's like this I always find myself feeling like I am a bad person, that I've done something to upset someone and right now I have to hold myself up and realise that no it is them that has changed, they have become the kind of person they were trying to hide, I have done nothing different to the way I always behaved... 
SO to relieve some of this stress... I'm going to take the aggravation out on their bike... 

Thanks to a pose from Come Soon - "Blank Space" which is a couples pose that you can grab at Cosmopolitan until May 8th - and a borrowed bike from Hell's Store Hogs & Cart Wheels, I am going to show this person I mean business... Right now it's not their bike... Next time it might well be... Now what works better, a golf club to the wheels or the engine?!
Now that all the anger and frustration is worked out of me, I need a moment to just be alone and cry... 

Once again, Come Soon to the rescue... I climbed up onto a destroyed car outside HellBone's Man Cave and laying on the roof I let it all out... The disappointment, the feeling of loneliness and even a weird case of separation anxiety came over me... 
Armed with a Big Stick - one of those super cool guns from nefarious.inventions - to keep away anyone that tries to come near me right now, I am going to lay here on this abandoned car - a pose from Come Soon called "Bad Blood" which is also available at Cosmopolitan - and recharge mentally... No more kids, I keep telling myself!! No more!

Rudh's Flying Circus

Sometimes the dreams I dream have an effect on the things I take photos of... Last night I had a dream about a somewhat angellic flying circus... I don't know why, I don't really even like the circus because I don't like clowns, but there I was on a trapeze! 
So this morning, here I am, on a trapeze LOL... 

The trapeze was a recent blogger item delivery from Lewd, that was perhaps on my mind as I remembered just before bed that I needed to share it hehe... These are fun toys to play on, and much like the swings I mentioned in a post before these have lots of pose options, they swing AND come in three different metal colours with white or black ropes!! Of course in a circus you need pretty and fun things too, that's where my magical CarnivalRide - from !dM deviousMind - come in... 
My outfit played a big part in creating the Rudh Flying Circus too... The bodysuit this trapeze artist Rudh wears is one from MoDANNA called Maree, and that was the only thing she did wear, with the exception of her necklace. 
The necklace is an item that I was sent to blog, and I will admit it got a little lost in the chaos that is my hoard... I am annoyed at myself for losing it for so long and it won't be happening again, BUT you can still get your hands on this pretty Pentacle Pendant from Lassitude & Ennui at We <3 RP. The event closes sometime today, but I hope that you will be able to find this pretty necklace in the mainstore in the next few days too! I also know that YES you cannot really see it in the photo above, so I was a smart Rudh... CLOSE-UP!

Swings on the day of a King

It's Koningsdag (King's Day) here in Holland... The whole country is out celebrating... Parties, Free Markets and craziness are popping up all over the country, bringing people together even though in the past few days it's been very cold and wet. Though the sun is shining here today - maybe the Dutch are lucky as a nation?! 
It's given me a lovely day off... I went to a free market and bought a few little things, and now I am spending some time relaxing and working on my favourite hobby... BLOGGING!!! 

I spent a lovely few hours today sitting on a brand new toy at my playhouse treehouse... Lewd made lovely, flower decorated rope swings that they have called "Sweet Seats". These are available at the latest round of Cosmpolitan, so be quick as they won't be there for long!! 
Wearing my new Mila Dungarees and Sweater outfit - from Kitja, it was so much fun to just sit here and swing for a while, watching the fairies flit in and out of the trees as they went about their work... 
What a great way to spend a very cold April day?!
