Sorry, but I'm Keeping the Ring!

It's almost the month of Love, well technically unlike Christmas or Halloween, Valentine's shouldn't get a whole month as it's halfway through and therefore we suffer less with it perhaps?! I shouldn't complain, I've had HellBone for the last 15 Valentine's but meh, it's such a boring holiday lol... 
All that trouble rejecting the (Non) Valentines that I get every year - it makes me laugh since I NEVER actually get one, even from the hubby - but it's such a chore LOL... I might as well get started early... 

Now I am no fool, I don't need all of these romantic gestures and gifts, BUT since the trouble was taken to choose and give me these things, it would be rude of me not to keep them and put them to good use... 
I'll write them a nice letter back and may even take pictures of me posing with some of the pretty gifts like this fabulous diamond ring that was sent as "The Promise" - which is actually a release from Boutique #187 for DUBAI until February 15th, and there are SO MANY different options for what you want the card to say... Such a fun idea for this time of year don'tcha think? - and it's a promise I'm going to have to make him break with a well written note of thanks...

Frozen treats for the Snowmen

There have been so many crazy things going on weather-wise lately, I mean at the beginning of January things got very, very cold and icy here in the Netherlands, and now it seems like it's the turn of large parts of North America. I have a lot of theories on things like the weather, and some of them are more set in logical thinking than others but my current one involves one of the biggest companies in the word and their new zone in a certain European theme park LOL... 
The cold weather pictures online from across the pond have definitely made me feel a little like playing in the snow though, and as much as I hated it while it was here, it's fine to enjoy when I don't have to live with it hehe... 

If you haven't heard, the European Disneyland also known as Dineyland Paris, is making announcing every where about the fact that before long they will be opening a new park zone dedicated to all things Elsa, Olaf and Anna, yes Arendelle is coming to Disneyland Paris... My theory is that since they are one of the richest companies in the world they paid some evil genius lots of money to get everyone into the Frozen spirit and took it literally LOL... Told you it was silly... 
Hence why today, I decided to throw on an Elsa-esque outfit and host a little tea party for the Friendly Snowmen - from MishMish - although there is no tea being served to avoid anyone melting. Instead of tea, we have lots of delicious Ice Creams and Sundaes.

Rainbows in the Stars

The stars are shining bright tonight, as they twinkle it's in rainbow colours, blues and pinks, yellows and greens... They sparkle and twinkle and glitter in the dark... They have invaded the White Tower - a skybox created for Midnight Order by ChiMia - of the Midnight Order, which is slowly preparing to disappear into the darkness when the doors close on the 20th of the month... The members of the order gathering together inside the towers walls, basking in their last moments to dance in the light... 

Sometimes I like to make dark, macabre and brutal looking pictures, but I LOVE times when I get all pretty and sparkly... 
The sparkling stars were an inspiration for me today, the starsigns forming a 'Starry Halo' - an accessory from LuluB! - and whilst her head is in the clouds, she's sparkling... The lightning in her eyes sending sparks from her that reflect the colours and glitter through the room...

Magical Mouse Burgers

Once again, it's dinner time and once again I seem to find myself blogging as I'm thinking about food... I can't help myself focusing on food while I'm planning on doing some blogging preparation. I feel like BBQ tonight, I want burgers and the best place to get them is a BBQ with that flame grilled taste. 
I don't want just any old burgers, I want something a little more special than an ordinary burgers... I want something with a little magical sparkle! Something served, in perhaps the most magical placce on earth... I'm going for Mickey Burgers... 

The Magical Mickey Burgers, actually known as the Mouse Ears Burger - a yummy release from Junk Food - are cooked by Goofy and served by Mickey, so long as he can sneak them past Pluto on the way to the picnic table - another release from Junk Food. It's definitely the perfect garden, full of Mickey and Minnie Mouse Topiaries - from Boutique #187 - to enjoy the delicious burgers. 
Of course, since I was having some special burgers in some very special company, I HAD to get all dressed up for the part. and luckily at the recent round of Planet 29, Les Sucreries de Fairy released the awesome Burger Queen outfit. It seems like the perfect burger eating outfit!

Let Her Eat Cake!

Well it's been a difficult few days for me, life is pretty quiet here in Holland, and there's not much happening in my working life - although I did just get given the weekend off! - but I want to find things to keep me occupied from slipping into a bit of a RL depression right now. I know that there people with worse situations in the world, but I just feel lonely due to missing my RL family! 
So it's Thursday and I'm totally free until Tuesday next week, what am I going to do to make things feel better... LET THEM EAT CAKE!!

I know she was not one of the best examples of monarchy throughout history, but there are some times in life when a girl can totally get behind the sentiments of what Marie Antoinette said... YES she wasn't smart for suggesting the people in her kingdom should eat cake when they couldn't even afford the basics and were starving, but come on... IT'S CAKE!!! Cake I feel, could always perk my mood up and make me a happier Rudhie! 
So I LOVED this dress in the MariaAntoniete Gacha from UNA... It comes in a range of colours, but being a gacha collection you gotta get lucky to win the colours you desire! I found this perfect pink set matched with the dress my Fantastique Frenchie - from Hextraordinary - had chosen to wear, and while we were posing with all this cake she looked adorable, until she decided to put her face in it!!! 
Still I won't be too mad at her, in the words of Marie Antoinette, "let her eat cake" and "bon appetite!"

It may be Tainted, but it's Love Eternal!

Can you feel that fizzing in the air, it's the dawning of a new holiday season when the world goes crazy for it's next big event... SL is filled with it, and the stores in RL too, because it's almost the first day of February and that hails the arrival of the Valentines season. 
I love the holidays I really do, but Valentines has always been one of those holidays that I tend to get all Scroogy about! I'm very much an anti-Valentine... Sweet, Cute, and a little dead, the best kind of Valentine I feel... 

I'm going to start off the period of Valentines with a wedding of sorts. An unholy matrimony that may be tainted but it's definitely eternal. 
I opened my Book, the Truth of Light and Power - from SEMPITERNAL -, and the magic started as soon as the pages turned... Our dearly beloveds that were laying to rest in their coffins were seen to reach through, one even breaking the glass, to renew their wedding vows and declare their Love Eternal - thanks to Granite Doldrums!

Spin the Bottle

I have a LOT of people that I feel lucky enough to call friends in my SL, but those that I am closest to I can count on my fingers. Recently, as in just before Christmas, I may have mentioned something about it back then, that the number of people shrunk dramatically. Some of it was friendly, people moving on to new things, while others were causes of great pain. So much drama for one little group as members of the Gators MC left all over the place... 
Yet from the ashes of what was left over a core group remains - Lilian, Max, Solde, HellBone, Chopper and myself - and although there are still others too, these little Gators are the ones that I keep fighting to keep the MC together for. 

Some nights with the MC can be hectic as all heck, we're a bunch of crazy silly idiots sometimes... Though I know I can count on these people. We've been through bad times, but we've come out of it together and we're stronger for it! 
We spend a lot of our SL days together, hanging out and doing random things. Sometimes we have a ride-out to behave on, but other times when we're at home we're being random... 
Yesterday was games night, we somehow ended up ordering Chinese take-out from Lost Junction and playing an impromptu game of Spin the Bottle - thanks to a new pose from Image Essentials at Truth or Dare Affair! Oh lord, did the boys cheer when I had to make out with Solde LOL...

Picnics with Cuties

Today I'm going to my happy place, a place where no one will bug me and people can leave me a message at the gate because well I'm kinda done bending over backwards to help people out when they so easily throw you under the bus... End of rant, but that's why today I'm going candy coloured, surrounded by adorably cute fluffy things!!! 
I know that Autumn is upon us, but I love the fact that in SL no matter what the temperature is outside you can be pretending it's a totally different season... Today for me it's Spring, and I'm going on a picnic!!

I'm not going alone on this picnic, that might make me a little sad... I'm taking some of my adorable new friends with me...
The other day I let some of my Half-Deer Bunnies join me in a picture and today I'm doing the same, they are coming on my picnic. These are SUCH a cute collection, too adorable, and as soon as I saw the little broccoli bunny I needed him, the rest were just added bonuses hehe... Back in my Childhood Bedroom

Well I'm back home at last, after a very stormy trip over the North Sea, HellBone and I made it home to my family and it feels freaking great to be here... Yesterday was spent chillaxing - with a quick trip to the grocery store - and an early night, but my gosh it always feels great to wake up in my old bedroom, in my old bed... I have so many good memories, and my childhood is wrapped up in this place like a cosy little dream.
This year it's 20 years since the creation of one of the weirder children's TV programmes of my youth, and my sister and I spent a good few hours giggling at the things we used to love back then. The 90's were my childhood, being back in my old childhood room - as well as a certain event in SL - has made me smile as I sit here writing this post with my early morning cup of coffee!

I was very much the typical 90's pre-teen... In love with a boyband called Take That, and sharing a bedroom with my little sister, I was lucky enough to be given all of the popular toys that a 90's kid could want! YES I even had a Tellytubbie doll, a Furbie - like the gacha collectables from REIGN - and a Tamagotchi - like the gacha toys from Luas.
Jelly bracelets and Jelly Shoes were a massive thing in my childhood... It was so cool to be seen wearing them, and when I add some of my other favourite toys like Spirograph and Trolls, this picture as much as my RL bedroom makes me feel happy. I am so excited that SL had a 90s themed Rewind Event! 
I LOVEEEEEEEEE being home, it's going to be a great chance for me to unwind and get rid of some of my stress, but never fear I won't forget to share things here too...

Santa's First Day Off!

Well that's it, it's actually done and dusted... The Christmas party is over and we're moving rapidly towards the start of a new year. Its'now that lovely quiet time between the festive days when you're able to sit back and digest, and to think about what it is that you've enjoyed. 
For Santa I've often thought that today would a time when he'd just let go and party hard! He's worked hard, and he's only got another 363 days until his next big day... As I've grown older, the way he chooses to relax seems to have changed and this year the not-so-fat Santa has chosen to party hard with a pair of Ho-Hos... 

By the way before anyone says anything, YES I KNOW that Ho-Hos are a cake, but aside from them tasting sweet the Ho-Hos that Santa is hanging out with are anything but cakey! Besides our Santa isn't exactly the typical fat man in a fluffy suit either... This Mr Claus is rather yummy. dressed in his Mr Sexy Santa Suit - from Crazy Kitty - and holding his fake beard in his hand, he's now finally taking some time out to sleep after his work night and day of partying is over... Looks like a great party was had, judging by all of the chaos around him and the Ho-Hos sprawled across his lap - using a sofa and pose from COME SOON called "Xmas Party" by the way!
I very much enjoyed being a Ho-Ho for this sexy Santa LOL... My sister Ho and I wore matching sweaters from epoch - which you can grab at Suicide Dollz until December 29th - and not much else besides some shiny red heels and some cute Christmassy Accessories! 
We should leave Mr Claus in peace, I think he earnt it after the last few days, and it looks like his Ho-Hos may have totally worn him out... I do wonder what Mrs Claus will say to this though?!

Oktoberfest and Edelweiss

The month of October is the best in my opinion... I LOVEEEEE Halloween as you might have already guessed but there are other things about it that make me smile too... Beer is a must in October, as it's Oktoberfest! That Oh-So-Awesome festival that the Germans celebrate with Beer and Pretzels. Now I will admit that I turned to the grand masters of Google and did a bit of research before sitting down to write my post today and I realised that actually Oktoberfest only runs until the first weekend in October - technically I am a little late, but Oh Well! I found Lederhosen, I found beer, I had to pay homage to the festival of beer drinking! 

The lederhosen are actually a past Gacha item from the store Salt & Pepper, and I believe these were in the machine for the recently ended round of The Gacha Garden. As soon as I saw the machine I had to give it a try and was lucky enough to win some very pretty coloured lederhosen on my first go - coincidentally, just so you know, lederhosen means leather trousers in German lol - and the gacha machine not only contains the outfit but also socks and other pretty things that are perfect for this look.
Yet as it's October and therefore the month of HALLOWEEN, I can't resist adding a little of my favourite kind of Dead Girl flavour into the mixture. Hence why Rudh has been shot in the head and has this amazing "Growing Within" scar on her cheek from Ama. It looks like some cute little white flower, and for the purpose of this look I am going to tell you that it is in fact edelweiss, but don't quote me on that LOL... 
For some reason I feel like they SHOULD be Edelweiss but I know that I'm probably going to be in trouble for thinking of them, as the Edelweiss song that is rolling around in my head is in fact Austrian - and yes I'm thinking Sound of Music right now - but meh I'm sure Edelweiss grow all over that general region of Central Europe?! Don't they?! 
Oh well... Who knows, another beer will help me understand more, thank goodness it's Oktobeerfest!

Felt like I should start this post off as if I am going to something akin to an AA meeting, because well frankly I am now fully aware of the fact that I have a bit of a gacha gambling addiction hehe... I like many people in SL am always finding myself thinking "Just one more try" and end up realising a little too late that my account balance now says "I hate you" rather than showing any money being present! 
It's not entirely my fault though I mean if the designers that participate didn't put such cute stuff in the machines then I wouldn't have this problem would I?! Each and every Gacha Event outing - this time it's The Epiphany - there is ALWAYS one collection that I have to have a full set of, this time it was the fault of MishMish and Remarkable Oblivion by the way, and OK it's not like they are sitting there with a gun to my head making me buy things but... Well... Ya know... I NEEDED THE THINGS! 

My tale today really starts when I dropped to the floor of my bedroom - I have this amazingly cute rug from Kalopsia and it has now become a part of my "work" space - to write a little post here about the new hair that I bought at Hair Fair... The style I am currently wearing is a Wasabi Pills release called Bubblegum. I'd gotten myself a new laptop and drawing pad from Cosmic Dust - yes those are Epiphany Gacha Items - and was going to break these bad boys in with a little bit of Rudhish creativity! 
I wasn't able to focus all that long though... HellBone came home with groceries and let the cats in! Our MishMish kittens are right little tinkers, which by the way is a British expression meaning "mischievous children". Before I knew it, one was climbing all over my notes and the other was burying itself into the grocery bag... What the heck did Hell get at the supermarket!?! Meh, sod it, it's his mess to clean up... I'm just going to sit here and drink this yummy brocante Lemonade, and watch chaos take over! It's much more fun that way!!!

Waking up in a Dream

I woke up this morning in a bed that was in my childhood bedroom... It was like heaven... The only thing that made it different from then was that a large snoring lump was laying there taking up a lot of room... Then sun was coming through the curtains, casting that warm glow over the room. It felt like something out of a dream... 
Something that I can share with you in a SL photo that I took before I left home! 

I was asleep in my playhouse tree house, on my large new hanging bed from brocante - which is available until May 27th at FaMESHed - listening to the sounds of the little Jian Kitten that followed me home from the shopping event. The sound of the purring was there in RL too, my cat that was a rescue but that I had to leave at Mum and Dad's when I moved to Holland was sat there looking at me... 
Day two, morning one of waking up at my parents... I don't want to go back to Holland already!

Forgot my Key... Ugh!

After all that partying there is only one thing that this girl needs to make herself feel better even more... SHOPPING!!! Even the least girliest of girls, that claim they don't like it, will I am sure find times when shopping is fun. I love bargains, sales make me happy as a cloud and don't even get me started about how much I enjoy rummaging through second hand sales, but when it all comes down to it, if I really need a shopping trip I will always go in SL as it's cheaper to splurge here than in RL hehe...

A shopping spree won't fix everything, but it will help bring a bit of a spring in my step, even if it is just for a while and right now a while would help! Though perhaps spring in my step isn't the right thing to say, especially after wandering around the stores in some huge heels - the soles of my feet would be too sore to spring from LOL...
Unfortunately when I went shopping, I was in such an excited daze that I grabbed my bag - yes it's a SLainsbury's Bag because I am that classy - and ran out the house, forgetting that my keys were also a necessity. So once I was done shopping, I had to sit in the sun on the stoop outside the house and wait for HellBone to get home! As this is just a re-enactment of that moment I will share with you that the pose prop I am using is one from Image Essentials - it comes without the shopping bags, you need to collect your own for display - and it is available until January 24th at Project Limited.
Just don't forget your keys, or an umbrella, ya know just in case you're sitting here in the rain hehe...

Stars sparkle for the Goths

The event that is geared to all things goth will soon be coming to a close in SL... For the last month, the SL Goth scene has had a major poke in the fashion department, a HUGE event took over the scene and spread a little gothic love to people who never even experienced the sub-culture before. I'm talking about World Goth Fair - a month long event of fashion specials, music and partying...
Originally this event was a charity one, raising funds for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, but sadly - and at the fault of Linden Labs - this one time mega fundraiser for a great charity that raises awareness of people being harmed because they dress or look differently, has had to remove the charity aspect. LL have made it harder to be a charity organisation in SL, it's harder to set up charitable donation accounts apparently, which to be honest even though it protects people from fraud is still a little appauling. People want to give, people want to support these things, apparently LL thinks we need to jump through a million different hoops to do so!
Still you can take a look for yourself at the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, and when you're done, you can take a look at a few of the things that I grabbed from World Goth Fair - amongst other places - and then head into the event to shop for yourself. It closes June 1st, so don't wait too long though hehe...

The majority of this World Goth Fair outfit comes from the store that is SongBird. It consists of two seperate parts that I have combined to make this look ROCK! The Spiderweb Body Suit is available in black, as well as white I THINK but don't quote me on that, and I wore it with the Eva Outfit that is made up of the frilled jacket and longish - by Rudh standards anyway - skirt. A simple pair of pumps on my feet, that LOULOU&CO Druuna Necklace which is subtle on this over the top outfit and a short wig from Magika gave this look a subtle elegance whilst maintaining a darker and more gothic look...
To add just a little flair, and a nod towards rememberance, I adorned my hair with this gorgeous "I Follow Rivers" Hair Accessory from Glam Affair - yes they do make more than awesome skins! - and I love the way that the red just jumps out at you...
There is just one thing that I need to share, I'm sure you don't really need to be told too much what that is, but the stars that surround me are a Collabor88 release from Kalopsia. These were perfect for the photo, they give the photo an ambience and they really do shine for Sophie Lancaster!

On Angels Wings...

When the song "On Angels Wings" - that later changed to Eagles Wings by the way - was written based around psalms from the Bible, I'm not sure they meant anything about sitting on them... Though when a chair looks this good, and when you need somewhere quiet to sit and think, I'd imagine an Angel Wing chair might be the best place for it!
I will admit that I've set one out in my little playhouse, and have been making a great deal of use of it recently, as my mind has been stuck dealing with something that I cannot really divulge much information about and will only say that it has my mind in knots and doing cartwheels all at once! You never know, you may hear more about it later lol, you know me I'm the queen of rambling about things!

For now though let me give a few details... The chair in question is actually the Angel Chair from Kalopsia - which I believe you can still pick up at No.21, although I am not sure when the line-up changes. These chairs come in a selection of different colours, and include high and low versions, each with different poses. Not just that though, you get a set of cloud lamps to use with the chair, or without them if that's what you want... I think these chairs are a bargain at the price you pay!
I don't know quite how I ended up dressed as a skankish looking unicorn, sitting on an Angel Wing Chair, and this wasn't initially going to be a picture that I posted but as I was trying out the chair the beginnings of the photo just seemed to happen.
I'd been dressed in my old Razor short shorts, my favourite new boots I discovered on the marketplace and am too scared to check out the mainstore of for fear that I will go broke - the store is House of Shoes by the way - and a new leather and wool sweater from SPIRIT - that you can also grab yourself for a bargain price, in a selection of different colours, at No.21.
It was, however, my choice of headgear that took my biker chick outfit to a new level of HUH? That's not a bad HUH? That's more like a HUH? Does that go together? style HUH? Who cares if people think it looks odd together, I LOVE IT!!! The stand alone Unicorn Hoodie - meaning it's just the hood part not a full Hoodie - is a brilliant creation from Olive featuring all the adorable things any unicorn needs... Two ears, a pretty coloured mane and the obligatory horn, and the simple fact it has been made overly big so that you can fit your chosen hairstyle into it, mean that this hoodie is so worth tickling the gacha machine at No.21 for.
All that's left for me to say though is two little things... One, what colour unicorn will you be? Two, has someone got a ladder so that I can climb down from this high chair I don't want to break my favourite boot heels?!
