2025's Dumpster Fire

Well hello hello, welcome back after the Christmas festivities, and I hope that you had the most wonderful of Christmasses... I've been thoroughly spoilt and had enough books for at least a half year of reading... My reading total this year was 70ish and I had more than half of that for Christmas... Yet the year isn't over, we still have a few more days left of 2025 before the celebrationof New Year and that's where I will be getting off for a bit... I'm going to go home to see my parents...

2026 will be a massive year in my house... I am going to be celebrating my 40th birthday on March 19th, Hell and I will be moving to temporary accomodations from February15th as we have some MAJOR rennovations taking place in our home and there are so many things worrying me about that ranging from issues with builders and work being done to my poor little cat being stressed as we're moving from place to place, and my mother will begin her chemotherapy, but there will be more about that when I'm feeling strong enough to share the details.. Things will be insanely busy next year and I am thoroughly in need of a rest... I'm going to set fire to this dumpster full of 2025 garbage... A 2025 Dumpster Fire if you will - which in this case is actually a toy created by Junk Food for the current round of The Fifty and comes in a package as well as loose that can be rezzed... 
I'll send my love, hugs and well wishes for the end of 2025 and see you in 2026...

The Walk of Shame

Yesterday was my 19th Second Life Rez Day and that meant that she has now enterd the final year of her SL teens... That's a big scary thought... I've been in SL for nearly 2 decades... WHAT THE HECK where did time go???
Of course, being the typical teenager that she is, it was definitely a good reason to go out for a little party!!!

Now that a new day has begun, and in my neck of the woods almost finished, Rudh willbe suffering the consequences of her fun time out partying... When you get old it always seems to feel harder after a drink or two. Maybe that's just me but I aways end up feeling yucky the next morning, and hangovers definitely last a week or more LOL...
She made the walk of shame home this morning... The lights were just coming on in the houses as people were waking up to start their days... She´d decided that the hair of the dog was a good idea, carrying home with her a Wine Box of Pink Moscato - which is an Anthology release from Junk Food - that may or may not be leaking over her shoes... Just gotta hpe she can get home before HellBone wakes up...

Sing Your Heart Out!

I hate days that I have to do chores around the house, although tomorrow my parents are coming over for a visit for a few days and I am really looking forward to seeing them. It does mean that I have to get myself motivate myself to get things done... I've put the music on loud and I'll be dancing around as I'm cleaning up, singing along to the cheesy pop blasting from my speakers... 

I love music, I love it live and loud better... I know some people ove Karaoke bars, I've done Karaoke once and I really had fun but I don't think that I'd want to do it again. I remember being dressed as a Rocky Horror character and getting up on stage with some of my roommates to sing the Time Walk! I don't think I'd ever be abe to do it again, and definitely not on my own... I'm far too shy, but Rudh definitely wouldn't let that hold her back... 
She got dressed up for a night out, stepped up on stage and belted out far too many cheesy songs, that the poor guy manning the Karaoke machine was very close to pulling the plug...

Free to a Good Owner

A day off, but I'm still kinda on tender hooks as I worry about will work things be ok while I'm not at work LOL... I'm nervous, but I have to get myself past this and let my mind relax properly... 
I've had to distract myself with something that some people might say is a little naughty... Some might even say that this is a LOT naughty... I always feel like I'm not good at blogging the naughty, but then again I tend to over think things when I should let them go... Maybe put myself into the hands of someone better suited to letting me feel stronger...

Let's make today F*cking Perfect!

I have had the day off today and it's been lovely... I had planned to get a few things done but that was NEVER going to happen considering the mood that I was in. I have been in a bit of a meh place when it comes to blogging lately, I am and may still be in a bit of a rut for a while, but for some reason I just cannot get myself into the game... I'm sorry for that... I am trying, and will keep trying, and today I had to force myself to get into the right mind set... 

I decided to get myself into some blogging and try to pass the blogging rut... I had on an outfit that made me feel a Marie Antoinette gone modern, Pink Ladyish Barbie... I have been living in this outfit and felt that it NEEDED to be shared and it could definitely help me make the cogs start moving... 
The outfit started because of the top from the Elyn Set - from miss chelsea - with a few perfectly placed accessories and some tight black pants... It was a great start, and I decided that another great start would need something to sustain me I went onto the terrace at the Delmonte Villas - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - where I helped myself to a Fucking Perfect Small Cup of Coffee - which was released by Boutique #187 at Astrophe - lit a cigarette and then played the game of what jam would I have on my fresh croissant... She was a Skater Girl...

Some days I love to be wild and creative, coming up with something from a fantasy that comes to life and sparkles from the screen... Others I feel a little more subdued and want to just try to play around with creating an outfit that makes me happy... It doesn't always have to be super creative for it to look good, and a simple look-of-the-day kinda picture is another way for me to step outta my comfort zone... 

I LOVE playing around with clothes and often find myself creating an outfit that I LOVE but never share in a blog post since I use them more as a basic every day outfit. I'll go out in public in it, but then for some reason even though I LOVE it, I never show it off on my blog... 
Today's look is no exception, I've been wearing this as my day-to-day look for about 2 weeks now LOL... It started with a release called Emme - from miss chelsea at the still running round of Equal10 - which includes the top and lace overtop, jeans and trainers. As soon as I pulled it on, it was like going back to my teens in the 2000s and that's why I've ended up at the skate park. I used to hang out in the skate park and watch the skaterboys...

Smoke Break in the Alley

I have been wracking my brain, trying to think of new and different ways to relax... I read a LOT, I spend time taking pictures, I knit and crochet, and I have recently restarted my scrap booking journal again. I want something new, something interesting and I feel like I need to find something new... SOMEONE GIVE ME AN IDEA... SOMEONE GIVE ME SOMETHING FUN TO DO... 

If I don't find something to do, my mind can wander to dark and twisted places. I read some of the darkest, smuttiest works of fiction. The one I just finished will not be leaving my brain for a little while, but that doesn't mean I'm willing to enact them... I'm tempted in SL, but the hubby is far too vanilla for that lol... Maybe finding a Sugar Daddy?!

I'll sneak out the back of the club to have a momentary smoke break, hiding in the shadows, until I feel brave enough. I look fierce and ready to find someone to play with, but that makes me nervous, and a girl needs time to clam her nerves...

Good Times for Dolls in Malibu Baby

One thing I love about my form of blogging is that as I'm so random I never know what will come out of my brain at any time... I LOVE being something pretty and fantastical, I love being dark and twisted and I LOVE being bright, colourful and weird... Some days I'm more random than others, and today for some reason I've had the Barbie Girl song rammed deep in my brain... That lead to me being invited to a very strange party... 

When my friend said "hey there is a new party location in Malibu Baby - a backdrop from FOXCITY by the way - called "Good Times" - with a sign made by Krescendo for the current round of Man Cave - that has a cinema, pool and a dance club... It was the perfect place for a doll, living or dead like me to explore. So I got myself all dolled up, something Barbie-esque, lots of pink and cute - in a shirt from Adora-tions, and a pink fluffy coat from GABRIEL - but I feel like I had a bit of a wires crossed moment... 
The kind of dolls that were to be found poolside were not what I was expecting... The Blowup Bettys and Blowup Barrys - a release from MadPea for the current round of ACCESS until December 8th - are strutting their stuff, checking each other out and there's an undercurrent of sexiness... Weird looks on their faces and far too much rubber skin on show... Still, I hope they all find happiness, it's just not the hangout place for me...

Night Rider

Do you ever have that feeling that you never know what you are going to blog until you're actually about to take a picture and things have just miraculously seemed to fall into place... It can be put together because of anything, a backdrop or a prop, an outfit or a pose. Today it was a mixture of all of these things... A little urban, a little dark, a little gorgeous... 

A little bit futuristic, a little bit darkly urban but a lot of a sexy outfit seemed to pull this picture together today and I guess in that it could be considered a look-of-the-day... I don't often get overly excited by an outfit but this outfit makes me super happy and I'll be wearing it a while I'm sure... 
It's getting close to Midnight - a backdrop from Paleto - and I was reliving days gone by, back when I was a member of the Gators MC and rode around on the back of a super fast mean machine... I pulled my bike - which is actually part of a pose set from FOXCITY - out of the storage lock-up and waited on the street for the bad boys to come around. This little backstreet is reminiscent of the old streets of London, where you'd find bright red post boxes and phone boxes on every corner - like the ones from MadPea in the City Streets Decor Set, available seperately or as a set in PG and adult versions at The Fifty - that nowdays have been vandalized or have gone for good... 
ISN'T THIS OUTFIT HOT THOUGH?! I love the soft fluffiness of the Boa - from Mug - with the plastic of the top - also from Mug - the super tight pants with their sexy laces - from AsteroidBox - and the leather of the straps...

Demons Waiting in the Dark

Things are getting more and more Autumnal, and with that comes the most wonderful time of the year - yes I know that people say that about Christmas - but we all know that it is infact Halloween, right?! I LOVE letting the spooky out, I love when the darkness takes over me and the magic happens and I'll admit it, that's exactly what has happened today... 
There is a demon out there, waiting to be ushered in with the Halloween magic, but until that time she's going to just watch and wait from the highest tower where the dark magic floats on the breeze... 

There is a dark, yet magical place. No where near heaven but high enough that a demonness could watch and wait for the moment when the gap between the human world and the Halloween nightmares are closer and easier to skip across... 
This demoness is of the pretty type. Not made for damage of the physical kind, but definitely of the twisted mental kind. She's twisted, dressed in a slinky black Bajor Dress - from Normandy - for the seduction of her targets, yet her face is scarred by Ember - a wound collection for the face from Samia. She's watching, waiting and observing... Held back from doing anything until her Deviltrap Collar - from Oblivis, at the Engine Room which opens on September 20th -  pops it's lock and she can escape to the human world...

Fear the Reaper... Please?!

I'm still having  happy Goth Summer... I always tell people the darker and more depraved things look onmy blog, the happier I feel and now that I'm on holiday I cannot help but let the darkness out... 
Today I've been really good to a certain someone that I want to stay on the good side of... Death has decided to take himself off on a little holiday, and so because I owed him a favour after last year I was happy to step in and look after his little reapers...

Stalking the corridors of the Occurance - a backdrop from Varonis - is the fastest way to slip between locations of all of the people that are written in the Reapers little black book. All I have to do is cross off the names as the Lil'Reapers - from Tardfish - do their work, flitting backward and forward through the doors... Someone needs to be there to assisting ensuring that people fear the reapers...

A Club Full of Smiles

Today has been one of the crazies days at work for me since the covid days... The Netherlands, especially in the North of Holland, was hit by a MASSIVE storm this morning. Rain was coming down horizontally, the wind was blowing a gale so much so that I was almost blown off my feet, and trees were hitting the ground left, right and centre... It was almost scary, and would have been if by the time I got to work I wasn't more concerned about the fact I faced an 8 hour day of being wet and cold, and to top it all off I KNEW we'd have no customers due to the crappy weather conditions... 
By the time I got home this evening, I KNEW I needed a smile... 

In one of the deepest, lesser known parts of the city, there is a cute little bar that's known for making people smile. it's a smily bar for smilers... Today it's the place that I needs to get to right now, as I NEED a smile... I'm going to dress for the club and try to find the smile that I need. I think it's already working, this outfit makes me smile and I LOVE the colour combination!!!

The Day of the King

Today is King's Day and it's the 10th anniversary of King Willem-Alexander being on the throne. It feels funny to think that I have been here to see his succession and pretty soon I'll be able to see a new King ascend to the throne in England... 
For those of you that have no idea what King's Day is, and what it means... Basically it a day in which the country celebrates it's nationality, perhaps more than the king's birthday as even people that aren't really in support of the monarchy seem to love a good King's Day celebration... The whole country goes a little orange for the day, there are parties and carnivals, street markets where people sell their unwanted items, foods are shared and enjoyed, and MASSIVE amounts of alcohol is consumed... It's a countrywide party!!! 

In the dark ballroom, I'm celebrating the national holiday of the Netherlands in a truly Dutch way... 
I dressed in some orange and ready to have a party, I've prepared some delicious Dutch Snacks like the Bitterballen - from DRD - a tompouce and a fresh bottle of jenever which is a little like gin and delicious... 
I know that it seems strange but it's the one day a year that I feel closer to being Dutch than normal... I am definitely a bit of a misfit in this country, and I have branded myself as such - with a cute chest tattoo from Adora-tions - I'll always be a Brit, but since we're celebrating a new king soon, and the Dutch are celebrating their current king, I'll happily wear, or perhaps sit in a crown - the Crown Bed from Krescendo - like a royal too...

Abandoned Puppies in an Alley

I've done working this week, after today I have two full days off and I cannot wait to relax and rest up and prepare for another 4 day work stretch at the end of the week... 
I feel like I might need to find myself somewhere new to hideout. As I was wandering around the city on the way home from work, I spotted some sad, new, little friends that had been abandoned in a cardboard box... The poor little babies are waiting and hoping that someone will find them and take them home, I think perhaps this time I might join them... 

After the week that I've had I think I need to find someone who will look after me... I'm fully house trained, and all it would take is a mountain of blankets, lots of delicious snacks and perhaps a cuddle or two... I don't require much. ALSO, I need the person that takes me home to take my puppies with us, I'm not leaving them out in the cold overnight, my little Box Buddies - from Tardfish, available until April 20th at The Warehouse - it's me AND the Puppies...

When Colours Don't Work...

 I'm feeling so stuck today. I wanted to find something interesting to blog, but then I've put some outfits together and still found it hard to do anything with the outfits that can be used as prettiness for my blogging world. 
I LOVE the looks I've put together, but I still found myself looking at the outfits, thinking WHAT the hecak am I going to do with them... I guess I should just put one on and throw some colours around and call it a Look-for-the-day!

I think that throwing the spray paint colours around, coating the walls of the Graffiti Club - a backdrop from Paparazzi, that I'd sprayed with Ana Poses paint cans - somehow magically managing to avoid ALL of the paint getting on her jet black outfit... 
The outfit is one of those "I put them on and fell in love" with, a dress held together with safety pins, and adding yet more pins for decoration purposes... Adding a little more punkishness with some fishnets and an overly huge leather jacket...

A Little Neon Weirdo

Some people might be thinking it whenever they see my pictures, others may think it whenever they see me wandering around in world, but if you ask any of my friends they are more than likely to agree that it is absolutely true. I am more than willing to admit that I am more than a little weird, I am totally happy to admit that in fact. I'd rather be weird and somewhat silly, as opposed to being boring and stuck in a place without colours and sparkles and randomness... 

In the neon sunlight of a Vapor Sunset - a backdrop from Paparazzi - I've let the little weirdo in me come out to play. I love when the weirdo surfaces and hides from everyone in her day to day life... There ar so many different things that can spark my imagination and make the weirdo appear, one of my favourite ways to find the inner weirdo is to put a crazy outfit together in SL and let my weirdness shine... 
Today the little weirdo danced around in the Neon Light, dressed in a cloud of lime green sparkles and dancing Infernal Green Flame - from THIS IS WRONG - totally fluffy from her jacket - the vivid off-shoulder fur from Gabriel - to her fluffy Punished Devil horns - from KitCat - and decorated with glow sticks to light up the night...

Do Elephants Like Peanuts?

When I was a kid, I never got to go to the Circus, at least not the traditional kind. My mum was always a little against what they put the animals through, and the way that they were made to do things that were not true to their nature. She has never been a fan of zoos either, but circuses that had animals participating were particular no-gos... That doesn't mean the thought of the circus never inspired me, and there was one time I randomly caught sight of an Elephant in our local park when the circus was in town... 
I've always loved Elephants... They always seem super intelligent and their eyes tell so many stories... 

When I saw the elephant in the park outside the the circus tent, I couldn't actually believe that the elephant was standing there where the dogs were usually around to run around and play... 
Watching TV earlier I sat munching on some peanuts and for some reason I got to thinking about the circus elephant and how elephants seem to like nute. Is that a real thing ro did I just pick that up and believe it because it happened in Dumbo? I had to find out... I went to a local circus in SL and bought myself some nuts from the peanut vendor - actually a weekend sale release from Junk Food - then tentatively heading towards the circus elephants, they seemed to sense what I had to offer...

A "Walk" in the Park

A day at home, a chance to relax after a super busy weekend at work... It's always a lovely, happy, relaxed feeling of being able to have a day to just unwind, although in typical fashion I ended up waking up far too early. Although, being awake so early means that I have more of a chance to get things done... I've done some dishes and laundry, I've taken a shower and even had a chance to get some dusting done, I might if I'm very good even find the time to run the vacuum through the house. 
First, however, I need to get some important groceries, so it's time for a trip to the shops... 

Killing two birds with one stone, I've decided to take the dogs for a walk as I head to the shops. I grabbed my jacket, tied my skates and said to the pack of Great Dane puppies - from JIAN - that were chilling in my garden "Let's Roll" - a pose from a set by Secret Poses - to the dog park. We did decide to make a quick stop off at the shops on the way to the park, my doggie buddies were excitedly happy to carry some of my Shopping Bags - from Junk Food - so we stocked up on snacks and went on to cause chaos as we charged through the park!

A Long Train Ride Home

OH MY GOD IT'S FINALLY THE DAY... I've been counting down to this day for WEEKS now!!! It's finally time for me to step out of my SL world and into the RL one as I'm leaving for a week of family time!! I'm heading back to the UK, finally, after all of the Covid restrictions and my nightmare of being in the hospital... It's finally time to go home and reset my batteries! 

Getting ready to go is always a fun task, making sure I have everything that I need but remembering I'm going home not to somewhere totally strange, and kissing my fur babies goodbye!! That part is always the hardest part!!! I ALWAYS miss my fur babies!!!
I hope you don't miss me too much, I'll be around on social media, just no blogging for me for a few days while I recharge!!! See ya in a week!!

Getting involved in his games...

Date Night... There are lots of places that we can go and have some fun, but one of our favourites has to be the Arcade... The music from the machines, the happiness of people playing the games and the smell of the junk food being served. It's a fun place to hang out, a fun place for date night and maybe a fun way to keep him occupied a little bit... 

A delicious dinner for two, something cheap and cheerful... A Pizza, some sodas and OOOOOOH A large plate of Cheesy Steak Nachos, make mine with extra jalapenos please?! 
While we were waiting for our orders to be brought, HellBone got a little fidgety, so I gave him a few pennies and sent him to play the Arcade machines... You know me, I cannot help but get involved as I watched him play. It was a ame full of suspense, I could barelý contain it, as my body language and the fact that I knocked my soda over while watching him play... 
I LOVE this backdrop and pose set... They, along with the Cheesy Steak Nachos, are a collaborative release from the great minds behind Cat-Noodle and La Plume. The backdrop - an Ultra Combo Arcade Backdrop - and the Cheesy Steak Nachos are the biggest brain child of Eimear and Bleue of Cat-Noodle, whilst there is a set of male - Izack -  female - Kelly - and couple poses from La Plume that fit perfectly into the backdrop.
