Well I'm back home at last, after a very stormy trip over the North Sea, HellBone and I made it home to my family and it feels freaking great to be here... Yesterday was spent chillaxing - with a quick trip to the grocery store - and an early night, but my gosh it always feels great to wake up in my old bedroom, in my old bed... I have so many good memories, and my childhood is wrapped up in this place like a cosy little dream.
This year it's 20 years since the creation of one of the weirder children's TV programmes of my youth, and my sister and I spent a good few hours giggling at the things we used to love back then. The 90's were my childhood, being back in my old childhood room - as well as a certain event in SL - has made me smile as I sit here writing this post with my early morning cup of coffee!
I was very much the typical 90's pre-teen... In love with a boyband called Take That, and sharing a bedroom with my little sister, I was lucky enough to be given all of the popular toys that a 90's kid could want! YES I even had a Tellytubbie doll, a Furbie - like the gacha collectables from REIGN - and a Tamagotchi - like the gacha toys from Luas.
Jelly bracelets and Jelly Shoes were a massive thing in my childhood... It was so cool to be seen wearing them, and when I add some of my other favourite toys like Spirograph and Trolls, this picture as much as my RL bedroom makes me feel happy. I am so excited that SL had a 90s themed Rewind Event!
I LOVEEEEEEEEE being home, it's going to be a great chance for me to unwind and get rid of some of my stress, but never fear I won't forget to share things here too...

I believe in love at first sight, I really do. Sometimes it happens with people and animals, but there have been MANY times in my life that I have fallen in love with things that I need to own. When I was younger it was toys, then handbags, but that is RL. In SL it's clothes that tend to get my love at first sight senses tingling. I'm not superficial, I'm not the kind of girl that needs material things, and SL has provided me with a RL Love at first sight in the form of my ever suffering HellBone, but now that I have him it's clothes, clothes and more clothes! OH and don't forget shoes, hair and jewellery too LOL...
This is one of those things, today I am going to share with you a love at first sight dress...
The JACKALOPE Siren Dress was my love at first sight item... I liked it as soon as I saw it posted on Flickr and then when I saw a gif that showed the water lighting textures moving... Well that was it, I HAD to have it. It's available at The Secret Affair until tomorrow - January 29th.

I'm getting just a year older, and no signs of being wiser yet, but I have had some HUGE surprises today... My Hubby spoilt me rotten and gave me something that I have been begging for, for a long time now and he has always said no to, and I cannot wait until I can introduce her to the world.
In SL, I was told I had to dress like a fairytale being and get ready for a PARTY!!!

I became a Birthday Cake Frosting Fairy...
I wore an outfit from dollle* called Melting Paint, but for this purpose I am going to say it's cake icing! The wings I had seemed to match it perfectly, and I LOVE these seriously pretty girlie wings from DRD. I have candles and frosting in my horns - from The Plastik - and Birthday Decorated Bunny Ears - from Half-Deer, as well as plenty of pretty accessories and tattoos... I LOVE this look, it might have a close up later but for now...
