I've had a lovely day having tea at my Grandparents house in RL today, but aside from spending time with my family, I have to say one of my favourite aspects of being at my Grandparents house is their awesome garden. Hidden in the woods, at the bottom of their garden is an area that really seems like a fairytale woodland, there's bluebells everywhere and a cute little brook that would make the perfect riverside location of any good fairystory!!!
So after lunch I went for a walk into the fairy wood, and as I sat in the sun, it felt like the perfect place for a fairy tea... Funnily enough I had a post ready and waiting for a moment just like this today!
There's nothing better than a fairytale picnic, nestled in a sunny yet shady spot, and to be honest, furniture and fairy folk aside, this was just like the little nook in my Grandparents garden!

I added some yummy cakes - from random.Matter - which were perfect for a high tea, then found a magic teapot - from the Disorderly Confetti Set - that would make special tea for the fairy folk, and waited... One of the things I thought about while I was at home, before my holiday, was that I might need some things to blog since I love using it as a form of relaxation. So I was smart and came prepared with some things that would be interesting to share... More things that I wanted to share, rather than anything that was required of me!
Now, some of you may know, and others not, that being back home in the UK is for me like a chance to recharge my batteries. Just being in my old childhood bedroom helps so much... I feel like I'm re-newed, recharged and invigorated! A little like the re-birth of a Phoenix...
I guess right now I'm feeling more than a little jubilant, since I just returned home from a shopping trip in RL to discover that I've actually lost 2 dress sizes in RL!!! I'm not only taking the time to relax for a change, I'm also feeling much more positive about things and therefore feeling awesome... A phoenix rising from the ashes!

I'm working today, so as I'm sat behind the PC I thought that I might as well get in some blogging time. There's not much else that I can do really, and I LOVE having a chance to sit back and relax with a blog post.
Today I want to share something which comes from a surprising place, but truly works in such a versatile way... I'm talking about the darkness that comes from the ECLIPSE event, and using it in a way that's no where near dark or macabre, in fact it is the total opposite, and it really works! Helps me to think outside the box, and I hope that it would inspire people to do the same?!
So, as you can see it's nothing like my usual post would be for ECLIPSE. It's far too light and girlie, but I felt a little inspired to create something that would allow people to think outside the box, and just because the event is all about the darkness, doesn't mean it can only be used for darkness!
The ECLIPSE item that is behind all this would be the awesome shoes that Rudh is wearing, these are a release from lassitude & ennui - called Jezebel Sandals - and they come in a range of colours with gold or silver metal accents. Dressed in the right way they could be perfect for a dark, Lolita kinda look, but right now with this outfit they screamed pretty! I LOVE that they can be so versatile!!!
The photo was taken at the amazing Outer Gardens' new fairground location, and as with their other designs, it's super pretty and magical. I fell in love with the location, and it just seemed perfect for my pretty girlie look...

And she sticks the landing... That's right I've actually made it to solid ground in the UK, I'm here to visit my family and will be here for a week. Normally I'd hide away and shut myself off from SL reality, but today I wanted to get a little blog post in to first let everyone know I was here safely and second to share a little more of the Eclipse before it closes again for the month.
First off though, how do I get down from this radio tower??
The Radio Tower is actually the main reason for this post being like it is... It's the Eclipse release from NOMAD, and it makes for a great prop, a great piece of sim decor and ALSO a cute single room living space that's open plan and would be perfect for anyone that loves that industrial feel lifestyle!
The rest of my outfit is just because it would have looked kinda weird to be landing in a parachute naked, though actually thinking about it that could have been the plot of a Bond film.

I am finally done with work before my vacation and to be honest it's making me a little giddy with happiness!!! It was so stressful and I'm free now for almost two weeks! Gotta love that holiday feeling - I still have packing to get done but for now... FREE!!!
I wanted to show my happy feeling, and for some reason I decided that now was the right time to listen to a little Disney Music... This is turn lead to my photo becoming something of a weird Asian style, escape from my reality! I escaped to ancient China, and danced around in the formal gardens of Tian Ya Hai Jiao!
Now OK, my photo is also missing my head but I just wanted to focus mainly on my awesome leg accessories! Plus it kinda gives it that in the moment feeling and I LOVE the combination of colours, lighting and well... Outfit!

Packing is far harder for me than it should be. Some people make lists and are very sensible, others just stuff everything and anything into their suitcase, but even with both these options I ALWAYS find it hard to focus and end up getting distracted! Even right now I walked away from a half packed suitcase because Blogging is far more interesting and a lot less stressful!
Sometimes though it seems to be so difficult, I'm sure I'd have an easier time herding baby dinos!!!
LOL so much so that, that was exactly what I forced Rudh into doing!!! She set up a camp in the middle of the swamp - the camp is actually an awesome new release from DRD called "Wasteland Grub Hub", which you can get your hands on now until April 30th at Eclipse - and pretty soon the smells of all kinds of good foods cooking soon lured in the babies!

I work in a little store in Amsterdam that is located on the old Flower Market. Today, being Easter Monday, I KNEW it was going to be a crazy day but I wasn't expecting it to be as bad as it turned out to be! My goodness I felt like I was going crazy... SO I did what anyone might do, I treated myself to a bunch of pretty flowers - a gift for myself for Easter - something to brighten up my evening and make my house feel pretty!
I love flowers, you might have noticed that recently, but there's just something about them that always makes me smile!

Easter Sunday, a day of religion... Be that for your faith, or as in my case, a day when it's allowed to eat as much chocolate as you want - yes it's a tradition - thanks to a bunny that lays eggs. Please, if you're religious don't be mad at me, we all have our beliefs and I'm not saying anything to be offensive but you know me, unless it's Halloween - or maybe Christmas - I'm not really interested in the seasonal holidays!
HOWEVER, I will say that Easter bunnies are over-rated, everyone seems to be sprouting bunny ears. I've decided to forgo the traditional bunny look today, and instead I'm gonna be a Kitty! Well, ish!

The BrandieWyne Harness can be worn as a super sexy fishnet number, but showing her true colours and brilliant sense of humour - Izzy Lane of 1313 Mockingbird Lane - has added her cat lady flair with these cat versions too!!! I bust out laughing when I saw them and knew this would be something I HAD to share!
Now, I will admit that even for me it's a little risqué without anything over my nip nips... It's Easter Weekend, but as I've told you before I'm not really into the Easter Holiday. I really would rather fast forward to Halloween now. Skip all that warm weather Summer stuff and find the cooler times. I think that my mood is matching my wardrobe today, the outfit is something that can be pretty Spring wear, but I guess I'm just in an Autumn Mood today hence why it looks a little Autumnal...
This outfit seemed like the perfect outfit to go out exploring in - as a side note I went to explore at Erebos Harbor, it's so pretty. It looks casual and comfortable as well as being pretty and cute for all seasons... Take off the Scarf and Cardigan, SUMMER. Add some tights, WINTER. Although it's perfect for Spring and Autumn exactly the way it is!

I sat down to write a blog post over two hours ago now... My Husband is being really distracting - he's got this bad habit of knowing EXACTLY when I want to concentrate on something and then chooses that moment to demand my attention. It's the source of my biggest frustrations with him - he's STILL doing it even now! I'm trying to tune him out - that's it HEADPHONES ON!
It's been one of those days, when everything is frustrating the crap out of me. I've not had enough sleep, I kept cutting myself at work and I just want to run away and hide. I plan on doing that very soon, but the feeling is matched so closely in the way Rudh is feeling today too...
Thanks to the ECLIPSE, she's on edge - pissy if you will - and she's in the mood for stabbing someone. She's already been in more than one fight it seems if her huge black eye and multiple scratches are anything to go by?!
The scratch marks on her chest are an ECLIPSE release from VAIN - called The Claw Scars - and it makes me wonder if they were caused when she put up a fight about the collar she's now wearing? These SpookShow Collars - and in fact the Septum Piercing too - look pretty fierce really, they seem to be a perfect compliment to her mood!
Though I want to draw attention to something little here... Take a look into my eyes... They give you a message! This week coming is the run up to Easter. Honestly, I could skip this holiday every year, it's a bit of a non-issue for me. I'm not religious and therefore not celebrating for that reason, and well aside from the fact there's tons of cute bunnies and chocolate everywhere I can fully admit to being a little on the "meh" side when it comes to this holiday! Why can't it be Halloween yet?!

I woke up in a state of shock and panic this morning from a horrifying re-occurring dream that I've been having since I was 15, and to be honest with you, it's left me in a state of shock and sadness all day today. Not going to go into any details about the dream, it's far too personal, but rest assured it's not that nice...
So I needed something to do that would bring a smile to my face - normally when I'm down I make myself look dead, but that was far too close to the mark this morning - so I went with something bright and sunny, a picture full of Sunflowers!
Isn't this pose just gorgeous fun?! It brought a smile to my face as I was taking the picture, and soon I wasn't really focusing on the bad dreams, just on the bright sunny faces of these flowers. I'm such a sunflower fan in RL! I love having some on the table, and a few in the garden just to brighten up my space!
The pose I chose was actually one of the set that should be laying down, but I repositioned myself so I could stand with the flowers behind me - please don't be mad at me for doing so - yet I simply couldn't resist this pose set from Focus Poses! I LOVE their props and poses but this one screamed at me to get my hands on it, and I am sure there are more sunflower themed photos to come soon too hehe... I've barely been online lately, work has been keeping me busy BUT I have finally found a chance to stop and sit back and think about nicer things. That does mean that I can also take some time out to write a blog post, which will in turn help me as a relaxation!
Now, honestly today though I will admit that I had NO IDEA what I wanted to do, or say, or anything interesting really, but I guess we will go with something that involves - for me at least - a little dress up, and a kinda-sorta somewhat look of the day?!
This look actually started with a pose... Sometimes you get things sent through to you and the imagination starts to whir and then well from something as simple as a pose, you end up with a complete look and can feel pretty happy! This is one of those times. I'll admit that it feels a little like a costume for me, I'm never normally found wearing things that are Asian in style, although I find them pretty to look at, it just never seems to fit what I am going for... This though, seems to work for me.
Hidden away in the bustling alleys of Midnight Glory, the little Fan Dancer - with the awesome pose behind this look from Secret Poses - looks for something delicious to eat from the many street vendors. It's not easy to find something that will make both her and her Dragon companion happy, he's a fussy eater.

Ever have those days where your inner voice is screaming louder than normal, especially screaming about those faults you find in yourself?! Anxiety, Regret, Stress, Pain and Depression seem to be a fairly common thing these days, and although by no means I am dismissing this, it really does show a sign of our times. I myself suffer from anxiety attacks, massive amounts of stress and a feeling that I'm never going to be good enough. Luckily, unlike some, I am able to keep it in check most of the time, and I've gotten very good at hiding it from the world, but there are just some days when these feelings bubble to the surface... Days a little like today...
It's times like these that I feel really thankful for being able to log into Second Life, so that I can drift off into my own little world and find my therapy. The therapy in question for me is taking pictures and writing here. My blog - although often full of fun and random stuff - has always been something like a journal for me. I use it to help me relax, to make me forget the world around me and focus on something productive. On days like today, this blogging space is vital for me!
Now I know that the pose and backdrop I've chosen for this post today may seem a little counter-productive for the message that I am trying to share, BUT actually the visual of it is really helping me. The backdrop - created by FOXCITY - really speaks to me. I know I over-think things, and comments like these will ALWAYS leave me floundering, my brain rushing to the most extreme scenario! The pose - from Reve Obscura - is such a true statement. My fears always cause the outcomes of anxiety, stress and in some cases bouts of depression! I will fully admit to this... I know what triggers these things but I am often powerless to stop it. Yet it's times like this, when I can sit back and channel my energy into my blogging journal that things become clear and sense can be made of it in my head.
Again, I will say that this does not diminish the way that others may feel. I am not saying it's a good thing for everyone, and not suggesting that my own thoughts are worse than anyone else's. That's not the point I want to make here... This works for ME, we all have our own systems of handling things. I don't really do this for anyone besides myself, but I do want to spend a moment to reach out to anyone that ever reads my blog or checks out my pictures to say THANK YOU! Thank you for being on the ride with me, thank you for letting me express myself, and I hope that even if it's just for a second or two it can make you feel happy... I know it makes me happy!

Rudh needs a little care and a lazy day too, I mean look at her, she's worn out!!! Lazing on the floor after finishing the decorating of her new cute little house. Her hair is getting a bit faded and all she can do is smoke a cigarette and watch the clouds through the window when taking a break from counting the cracks in the ceiling!
I think it's time that both of us took a bit of a break, thank goodness I'm going to be going to visit my family in the UK soon!
For now though I'm going to leave Rudh to relax, smoke a cigarette and maybe, just maybe, redye her hair LOL...

Such a gorgeous Sunny Sunday! I love the warmth of the sun at the moment - it's not too hot, just perfect the way that I love it. I'm definitely not a Summer girl but the warm gentle sunshine of the Spring makes me feel good. Plus, you might have noticed by now but I'm crazy about Spring Flowers.
I want to find a place where I can get lost like this in RL, somewhere quiet and happy, where I can hear the buzzing of the bees, the singing of the birds and smell nothing but grass and flowers as I frolic in the sunshine.
I got so excited by a release from Mug in a gacha at LootBox Gacha. The Flower Child Gacha Collection includes Daisies for everywhere... All over the face, all over the chest and all over the arms, as well as these rare Flower Child Shorts.

Now that I'm a grown up, one of the things that I find I miss most is the days when things were simple and all I had to worry about was school. I will fully admit that I was a kid that loved school, I wasn't the smartest or most popular, and I definitely wasn't one of the most sporty kids, but all that aside I LOVED school. I loved learning and if I had the chance I'd be heading back to University to take a Masters degree!
In England, we had to wear school uniforms and I was always a little jealous of Americans that were able to wear their own clothes. Whenever Rudh feels like going to school she has that privilege, no icky uniforms for her, and when she goes she's little miss popular!

I am really getting into this Spring Feeling at the moment. I cant stop playing with pretty colours and flowers... There's so many flowers that I want to play with them all. I've said it before and will say it again, I love Spring - not so much as Autumn - I love all the colours and it brings out my girlie side.
One of the things that I get most into when I'm being girlie is my inner Fae... Yes I know I have a lot of inner fantasy beings but Mermaid and Living Dead Doll aside, the Fairy version of me is one that I LOVE playing with... It's times like today, when I really cannot hold her back!
I blame it on the simply gorgeous Neodeesha outfit, created and released by 1313 MockingBird Lane for the current round of LootBox Gacha - available until April 18th! This pretty set is available in a range of colours with the wings and the rainbow versions as special RARE releases in the machine.
While on the subject of Lootbox though, I should take a second to point out the adorable Teddy Bear from the Teddy Bears Garden Collection, also available at LootBox by Yokai... So much Springtime cuteness in a collection of Teddy Bears.
I've also got a couple of things here that are not LootBox, but still really pretty and needing a look at more closely. First are the rings that she's wearing, these are from Ama for Bloom - available now until April 7th - and they are so delicate but so pretty. The other item that needs a closer look is her gorgeous necklace from [Fetch]. The Harper Set is available together or separately at the current round of Uber. Since both of these things are not so clear in the main photo but I HAD to share them as they are too pretty not to, so I've been good and included the ads for your viewing pleasure too!

I love being a blogger, I love being a photographer more. I'm not by any means a professional and really consider it my hobby, even though I have some amazing stores that definitely honor me by allowing me to be a part of their blogging team. Yet despite that, sometimes I have to stop and think "this one isn't for a reason, this is just because I want to do something for me!" It's kinda like a therapy of sorts I guess. Today is one of those days! After a stressful day at work, there's no better way to relax!
I've come home, slipped into my comfy lounge wear - and yes thrown off my bra - now it's time to curl up with a good book and a cup of tea, snuggling down and avoiding the Hailstorm until bedtime! I'm going to be lazy, snoozy, until the moon comes up, just like the Magical little Rudh in her Sunrise Adria outfit - by Plastik, that's the Rudh wearing white on her knees sleeping on the lap of the moon Rudh by the way.
Snuggled up, cuddling the moon seems like the perfect place for a magical girl like Rudh to fall asleep, especially if she has a friend like Moon Rudh to cuddle. Moon Rudh twinkles gently - wearing a Sleepy Star Outfit by bonbon - and reassures the sleeping Sunrise Rudh, until their rolls are reversed and the sunrise soothes the night!
Just for the record, and because it is in fact the entire reason I randomly came up with this, I want to point out the pose used. It's a release by -Extra- but looking at it now you wouldn't think that it's actually one that's advertised with a slightly BDSM feel to it. It goes to show really well that a pose like "His Pet" can be used in more situations than just the one used to display the pose for the advert! I love this kind of versatility!!

Today I feel like celebrating the Spring just a little more, with another trip to Ostara's Altar.
This is all about the Wiccan - or perhaps Pagan - tradition of welcoming the Spring and all the changes that come with it, such as the new life, the new beginnings and even the general changes that the start of the year entails. Now I'm not a Wiccan, but I can fully get behind these kind of celebrations. It's great to celebrate change - even though I'll fully admit that it tends to bring out the anxiety in me!
So today I'm going to dedicate a gift to the gods, and thank them for the newness, the freshness and the Spring!
