It's Saturday... It's my own day off this weekend and I've spent some time having fun with HellBone, doing a little shopping at my favourite second-hand stores, even being lucky enough to find some treasures that made me happy... 
Saturday is my day for relaxing, having fun and maybe even letting my hair down and doing something daring... 

Rudh went looking for some fun in the Red Light District - which is a backdrop from Varonis - and stumbled into the doorway of the Society Club. Spectral Elegance Awakens the Underworld

Sometimes you have an idea in your mind that visualises itself as something different to what you had thought it might be... I saw something that I loved, I saw another thing that I loved too,and for some weird reason they seemed to mould together in my mind to become a magical etherial being that magically summons the spirits of the dead... 

In the sanctum of the Gothic Ballroom - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - one of the sinister broken sisters of the dark, has begun an enchantment to raise the shadows of the Underworld - a set of shadowy hands from Pitaya. 
She stands in the middle of a magical circle, and chants her spell in the dark hall, as a Nox Arcana Aura appears and twists over her head. Chanting the words of the Bayadere - a pose set from NANTRA at We <3 RP - her Spectral Elegance - a gown from Moon Amore at Collabor88 - allowing some of the spirits to rise from the shadows and take more of an earthly form...

Now that I´ve made many changes in my SL, I´m finding that I have more time to do things that I forgot I enjoyed like exploring and taking part in random fun things in SL... 
I forgot how much fun it is to find these new things, and although it´s not new, I had so much fun at the Linden Lab´s Palaeoquest trying to beat the quests... It was like a day at a themepark, but with Dinosaurs... 

This is one of those places that you have challenges to complete, and once all are done you can win some awesome prizes... Now I wasn´t really focusing enough to win the contests but there were DINOSAURS, dammit! How could I pay attention to completing tasks... 
I had to get my own goodies to make me feel like I´d been at the gift shop... I got this awesome Dino Headdress - from Ananas - an adorable Dino Plushie - from Dust Bunny - and a pink fruity drink that came with an adorable dino keychain - from hive...

Wonder If I Have Cell Phone Service?!

It's one of those lazy Sundays when I feel like I'm a little lost, I don't really know what to do, where to go and I definitely cannot seem to get my mind into gear to do anything that seems anywhere remotely like work?! All I want to do is be lazy and veg... Get lost in a book, on a far away adventure... 

Today's adventure may be a little shock to some of you... I am never normally into exploring space, because I have a bit of a massive phobia of aliens, but I can't help being a lover of the stars... I LOVE the sparkle, I love the fact that they are shining down us from billions of miles and can bring a smile to my face as they twinkle hello! 

Any chance I can be sparkly and covered in stars, I'm going to take it... So I put the "Drops of Jupiter" by Train and I'm dancing around in sparkles... A gorgeous skirt from CELESTE - which the photo doesn't really do justice by the way - called Falling Star and the sparkles move over the sheer fabric... You can tell that the owners of CELESTE and NeverWish are friends though, they seem to think with similar brains, as these skirts look like they are a perfect match to be worn over the brand new NeverWish bikinis that are available as part of the Summer Vibes Gacha Collection - available now at The Epiphany!!!

The Problems of Dogs in the Rain

Even though the sun is shining now, it's a little deceitful... There's more rain predicted, as if we didn't have enough already today... This morning when I woke up the skies had opened and it was POURING! Typical on a day when I have things planned that I need to do, but even worse, if you're a dog owner... 

I love my god I really do, but on days like this today, when I had to go out into the rain for her to have a wee... I'm seriously thinking "could I try training her to use the toilet?" 

I love to walk Izzy, make sure that she gets in her daily dose of tiddling where another dog has left a make, lots of sniffing and plenty of standing stone still waiting for another dog to be out of her way... The worst habit she has though is that she will poop, I have to pick it up, and then two minutes later she's pooping again and I have to carry not just one but TWO POOP BAGS!!! 

I was inspired by the release of the new Dog Park Items from Star Sugar, which included the epic Waste Station, and while I set up to go for a walk it started to rain.

Incy, Not-So-Wincy Spider

Spiders have been a phobia for many people throughout the ages, and I know a lot of people are pretty terrified of them, personally I am not one of those people. YES I don't really like them, but I'm not terrified, Hell has to come handle them, but that's not because I'm scared LOL... Maybe you'll believe that?! 
Still at this time of year it's good to start doing things that are a little horrible, and well one dress release leads to a costume and... TADAAAAA.... Spider Rudh!

In one corner of The Forgotten there is a spider lurking in the dark that will usually be found in Gator infested swamps... 
She's tall, draped in webs which have been woven to make a beautifully ethereal dress - thanks to the United Colors -  her friends crawl over her face and rest in her hair, as she calls the spiders to her.

The best kind of Valentine

As much as I am trying to ignore it, there is no getting past the fact that Valentine's Day is coming, and, unlike Halloween or Christmas, there is no chance that I am getting excited for it... I'm a Valentine's Scrooge... BAH HUMBUG lol! 
Valentine's seems to have become a little overrated, and I mean I'm not against the idea of celebrating love but I personally feel it should be something done every day, not one day a year with the purchase of cards and over-priced flowers. 
Although sometimes a card can be fun I guess... 

Especially if you are sharing an anti-Valentine!
Nantra made some brilliantly fun Valentines or Anti-Valentines poses for their Gacha machine at The Gacha Garden. The V-Cards Poses come in a variety of different poses, with some couple poses and solo props. This is pose 2, and it comes with a fan to make a girl look coy, but me being me I left the fan in the box and grabbed a girl's favourite Valentine instead... I'm sure I don't need to point out what that is - but a shout out to (epia) is needed anyway! 
It's my Anti-Valentine for the season, sure someone might enjoy getting a card like this but what's more is it may be the only one that I see this year, so I had to have fun with it!!!

Bittersweet sounds of an Apocalyptica Cello

This time last week I was super excited... Fast forward a week later and I'm in love with Viking Cellists, so please Santa if you're reading this I have been a VERY good girl this year - or at least I will be from now on until your big day - can I pleaseeeeeeee have a Viking Cellist under the Christmas tree this year??! LOL - I know, I'm crazy but it can't hurt to try right?! LOL...
OK let me elaborate on my crazy ramblings. I went to see a band called Apocalyptica - they are a metal band that plays cellos, sounds weird but trust me it's damn good! - and not only is the music beautiful but the band themselves, well let's just say they aren't too shabby either - just in case Hell is reading LOL! One of their songs is called Bittersweet - it was originally recorded using the vocals of Ville Valo of HIM  - but the classical version brings me out in goosebumps, it's ghostly...
Whilst I was out shopping this week, you will never guess what I found... YES! A CELLO POSE!

It's almost like the creator of Come Soon Poses knew exactly what I wanted LOL... This Melody Pose was created by Come Soon for the latest round of Suicide Dollz, and as soon as I saw it I knew that I would be be doing something in homage to the Viking Cellists this week! The full scene is awesome for the low price that you pay for these pose sets, but I will admit that I added a few things. The Skull and the vase of flowers, complete with their spidery inhabitants, was an addition that I made thanks to the GizzA Gacha at the latest round of Lost & Found... OH and then there was the ghosts that snuck in and started dancing around as I played along with Apocalyptica's Bittersweet Song - these Ghosts are available from Nantra, just a little F.Y.I there!
I wanted to make my body look equally as sad as the scene surrounding me, the result can be seen in a close-up below but I think the resulting close-up photo will be my new profile photo too LOL... I love this picture quite a lot LOL...

Can you see why? Her sad eyes almost seem real! This has to be one of my favourite pictures I've taken of Rudh in a LONG time! It's a lot of layers of make-up, and I am so glad that we can use 5 different layers - especially now that I'm wearing a mesh body and therefore can use all my tattoo layers on my face hehe... I've used a lot of tattoos from antielle to build up this look... The HSotD Mystery Salt & Ice Wound created the base, then I added some Smeared Makeup which gave me that mascara tears and ruined lipstick look, before slicing my mouth open just a little with the Kuchisake Onna wound... OH I might have done it just a little too much so I stitched my mouth shut after all that with some Ama Deadly Silence Stitches! Dressing it only with some simple piercings and a noose from Remarkable Oblivion...
My sons reaction was "What have you done to yourself?" Does it make me look a little too twisted perhaps?! LOL...

Cool Kids, Can't Die!

This expression says a lot for me right now... It's one of those feelings that seems to have almost buried me somewhat... I know that sounds more than a little dramatic but there has been a lot going on in Rudhland over the last few weeks, and you're lucky that I'm not only posing for pictures looking a little dead as I have been known to before!
I was feeling about a million miles away from romanctic thoughts this month and need to take a break from all the rainbow cuteness that the month of February seems to bring... I hope you don't mind!
The slogan brandished all over my nungas in this look I randomly pulled together, really sums up my state of mind. Drama seems to follow me around since the beginning of the year, when am I going to get a break?

I don't know what it is about SL, but I always seem to find myself with people taking advantage, or with people assuming whatever is not true. The latest of this being the case. For now I'm laughing about it. Anyone who knows me will know that it's not true, but a word of warning to the wise... SL Charity Events, no matter how much they are done out of a pure heart will ALWAYS find someone who likes to spoil things, make you feel like a huge pile of crap and assume it's just a way to make a quick buck...
Still enough of the ranting... I'm done with worrying about the petty drama of people who should know better!
This top is one of my ABSOLUTE Favourites... I got back to it time and time again, and trust me that is a little bit of a rarity in my closet! It's from the store Blossom, that is unfortunately closed and I cannot find the top available anywhere to buy. Friends have asked in the past but it just seems to have GONE!
The rest of the look was just set dressing really, I mean I bought these amazing shoes from Remarkable Oblivion, and this awesome pose prop from NanTra called Shut Up and Drive, both of which came from long since past sales events, and are now back happily at their origin stores. I'm sorry it took me so long to get these things displayed, I've had the picture ready FOREVER lol...
