Ice Cream Tastes Like Heaven!

Sometimes there is an urgent need to find a supply of Ice Cream and gorge myself on it... I don't care what flavours I'm getting, but I'll take any and every flavour pretty please. I'm less keen on Strawberry, but I'll take anything!!! GIMME THE ICE CREAM... Even an angel like me will someties go a little crazy in her need for ice cream!!!

Parking my butt on a table in the kitchen's of heaven, funny that I'm allowed in here since the demon in side me is screamig about being here, I made sure that I did a grab in one of the HUGE freezers that stand around between the old fittings... Ice Cream MAY be a form of Junk Food, but it's always ood for making a smile...

A Rose for a Future Valentine?

February 1st... The start of the Valentine season... As holiday seasons go, this one is DEFINITELY not one of my favourites, but a holiday is a holiday and since the world is taken over by hearts and flowers because of Valentines Day a girl cannot help but get a little caught up in the merriment... Normally I'd be complaining about it being silly there's an event for Loving others, but why not let the love seep in to make things a little happier... 

Although I doubt I'll be going all out with the hearts, flowers and sickeningly sweet romance, I'm sure that I might find some space to fit in the pretty romantic things somewhere! Lots of flowers, heaps and heaps of bunches of roses - like the ones from the new pose set of Red Roses from Secret Poses at Cupid's Fault...

She ain't no Peaky Blinder!

You might have realised that I'm more than a little homesick, and it's making me think back to my family past and present... I've had some very interestingly, colourful characters in my family tree, including a prostitute from London that was alive and working when Jack the Ripper was around, a Bishop of London and even a designer of a well-known memorial momument in Belgium... 
Yet now I'm thinking of my Dad's father and his brothers.. They were a group of 10 and were lads in London, and although they weren't around as early as the 1920's, pictures of them definitely made me think of the Peaky Blinders... 

Of course, one thought led to another, and I'm instantly feeling like I need to re-create something a little 1920's Peaky Blinderish... As my puppy - a German Shepherd Pup from Foxwood at Kustom9 - and I wandered through the streets of Old London - the Victorian London level of the Time Portal - I started to blame my sudden desire for a Peaky Blinder moment on the pictures, but also the amazing new hat and hair that I'd recently treated myself to...

A trip to Pandora

Yesterday I realised that I've become far too much of a hermit... I needed to get out and explore Second Life like I used to, so I pulled my big girl panties on and braved it, stepping out of the house and leaving the familiar places behind. 
It was something I'm glad I did, as I managed to find something really, really gorgeous... A little slice of paradise at the Pandora Resort... 

You arrive via a plane landing point, but when you walk down following the path you're transported into a gorgeous spa-like environment, and from there on it becomes jungle and it's simply gorgeous! I would definitely recommend taking a plane flight to visit this place... 
It was a pretty place for a pretty outfit, but I definitely think that I will be going back here to relax.

Running through the Fields

Today is one of those gorgeous Autumn days... The kind that I love more than any other type of day... A crisp and sunshiny kind of day, when the sun warms but not boils, and the air feels fresh... 
I couldn't help myself allowing Rudh out to enjoy this feeling after I'd done the same with walking the dog in the sunshine... Rudh ran like a crazy, happy idiot though a field that was waiting to be harvested at Twerk Paradiso... 

Admittedly the outfit she was wearing was NOT totally ideal, I mean the adorable ISON Anne Sweater and cute bobble hat that comes with the Doe Ruby Hair, were perfect, but she had no idea she'd be charging through long grass when she got dressed... 
As cute as this skirt is it wasn't her best choice for this activity LOL... That having been said this skirt is TOTALLY ADORABLE! It's release from Petite Mort for the still running Boho Culture Fair, and it comes in a range of different florals and prints... Awesome for that Boho Chic but less suitable for cavorting through the long grass LOL... Don't miss these skirts, they are available until November 11th at the Boho Culture Fair!

Picnics with Cuties

Today I'm going to my happy place, a place where no one will bug me and people can leave me a message at the gate because well I'm kinda done bending over backwards to help people out when they so easily throw you under the bus... End of rant, but that's why today I'm going candy coloured, surrounded by adorably cute fluffy things!!! 
I know that Autumn is upon us, but I love the fact that in SL no matter what the temperature is outside you can be pretending it's a totally different season... Today for me it's Spring, and I'm going on a picnic!!

I'm not going alone on this picnic, that might make me a little sad... I'm taking some of my adorable new friends with me...
The other day I let some of my Half-Deer Bunnies join me in a picture and today I'm doing the same, they are coming on my picnic. These are SUCH a cute collection, too adorable, and as soon as I saw the little broccoli bunny I needed him, the rest were just added bonuses hehe... These are not good for eating but make adorable companions, and a fat girl like me couldn't resist more cakey cuteness!!!

On Photo Location...

I'm having a lazy Sunday and today my SL is something that feels more like a movie set... I've been a busy bee today working on SO MANY Photos that my SL feels a bit like a movie set - a photo shoot at least - and so I took a few minutes to share my awesome regular outfit before I slipped into something a little more uncomfortable! 

I love these jeans... LOVE LOVE LOVE them... They are made by SPIRIT and are available at this month's round of The Dressing Room, and as well as coming in a set of colours, they also include a skin HUD so that you can re-tone the colour of the skin. Then to go on my top half I chose a very loose open Occult Jacket from ISON and wore a scarf with my Elspeth style from Truth... 
Such a pretty and casual outfit for a Sunday... Right?

Who wants to sleep in the Dog Bed?

I was never really a dog person in either life until I moved to Holland to be with my man... Before that time I had always been a little scared of Dogs, especially the big ones, and when I started dating a man that had a Rottweiler as a pet, it did come as a bit of a huge shock. I moved over to be with HellBone after 6 months of dating and from then on I was Rudhmellowen, Dog Owner!
I still and and will always be a cat person... I LOVE CATS, and would have a whole houseful in RL if I could... I'm much more likely to be a cat hoarder than a dog one - if I was to ever get that crazy and do something so weird lol... 
Still I couldn't resist this bed when I saw it, I got lucky enough to win one in the gacha without trying too hard. Anyone wanna sleep in my Puppy Bed? 

I love this bed, it was a gacha item from d'yer maker that I picked up at a past round of the Cosmopolitan. I love that it is perfectly formed to laze inside it, perfect bedshaped hehe, with just a subtle hint of cuteness...
That was where the cute stopped and the vintage siren took over... It's not something that is a normal look for me, but I had had this dress gathering dust in my hoard for a long time, and I just couldn't resist wearing it - even though it was to loung around in LOL... I'm so cool, lounging around in a vintage siren look LOL... The dress is one from ISON. It was a LONG TIME AGO event release, but when I saw it even though I had no idea what I wanted to do with it, I simply HAD to have it!! It's very grecian goddess in style, loose and floaty, split to the naval with sheer split arms, and if I remembered rightly it was available in a range of colours - but don't quote me on that LOL...
I kept the rest of my look very simple, even losing my usual face scarring and nose ring for a change, with the only real adornment being the pretty chain around the - fairly new-ish - Truth hair called Celeste...
Sometimes it doesn't hurt to be something a little different, sometimes it's great fun... THIS was one of those times!!

Princess of the Night perhaps?

One of the best things for me about SL is that you can dress up, be whatever you want to be and as long as it's not hurting anyone do whatever you want to do... OK granted you will get some people who are more than a little closed minded, expecting things to be a certain way, as they are in RL - the biker community of SL for example - but if you hadn't realised up until now, I LOVE to dress up, and I LOVE to invent characters for myself hehe... 
This next outfit was no exception hehe... I put things on and thought "hmmmmmmm what shall I be today hehe"... I ended up going exploring over at the Vampire Resource Centre in Transylvania! 

Wandering around there, you'll find lots of pretty and interesting places that could make great photo opportunities. I got lucky, it was a very quiet time of day and all of the vampires were sleeping hehe... 
Hidden in a corner is this strange portal... A ruin with a very ominous presence, the people milling about seemed strange, ethereal almost, and yet something was drawing me towards that dark malevolent figure in the archway... 
It was possibly due to the fact that the living dead girl me, was wearing a rather risqué outfit... From the front it looks like a very short dress, but from the back, it's a whole different story hehe... 
The top I'm wearing as a dress, is a release from ISON - available at Collabor88 for November - and as you can see from the back it is kinda revealing... I spent a long time trying to work out what I wanted to wear under this top, some people I've seen have gone conservative and are wearing pants, but conservative and Rudh don't tend to mix very often, then I remembered my old Duct Tape set from League! Good thing I am already dead though, that stuff looks more than a little painful to pull off later! I finished the look with some extremely tall Lolita Heels from EMPORIUM in a brilliant electric blue colour... Not sure why blue, it's normally a colour I don't tend to touch but for some reason I HAD TO hehe... 

So the outfit was striking, the location was striking, I needed something small just to finish the look for the new Princess of the Night...
Hair was going to be an issue... My normal Red hair choices left the look a little flat, I wanted something that would 'pop', so I began digging around in a folder of past hair freebies I have. I randomly discovered this Alice Project hair called Seohyun and knew instantly that the frosted blue worked perfectly with the heels I'd chosen. The sparkle effects that are used in certain Alice Project hairs are gorgeous... I love these styles just for that effect, I LOVE creating fairytale looks and everyone knows a little sparkle is a little magical! 
Then I remembered I had a brand new tiara, which would be PERFECT for the Princess of the Night... This month's Genre theme is the Apocalypse, and I have played with a few items that I bought there for that style but the [MUSE]'s Bride of the Apocalypse Tiara seemed less Apocalypse and more fantasy princess to me... When I put it on, it was just what I wanted and so the Princess of the Night was born!
