Stuck With No Powers!

Over the festive holidays, they tend to play some of the most random movies that could be considered classics these days but are actually films that I loved in my youth. Some of them seem crazy, as in HOW can they possibly call these things classics - it makes me feel so old to know about some of my favourites being called CLASSICS!! - yet one movie caught my attention and I couldn't resist watching for old times sake... 
Austin Powers was one of the movies that played, and it has one of the most funny scenes that cracks me up every time... It's the scene where he gets the cart stuck between two walls, I had to pay hommage to that... 

I found the perfect Sci-Fi Tunnel - a backdrop from TROPIX - and knew the perfect vehicle existed because it was one that HellBone had created, a perfect little ResCart - for Hogs & Cart Wheels. Now all I needed was a gun and the perfect outfit to respresent a Rudhish version of Liz Hurley's character 'Vanessa Kensington' the super spy and fembot... 
One more thing before I go, I have to share the clip of the movie I mean... Give everyone the laugh that I love so much...

Pumpkin Carving on a Sugar High

Halloween is coming and it's getting closer and closer, there is no stopping the snowball effect of th arrival of the Spooky Season... I LOVE this time of year, it's been fun to decorate, it's been fun to get into costumes and I have 22 more days of Halloween looks still to come...
Today I've decided to prep some of the decorations for my home, I wanted to start carving pumpkins to make my house feel more festive... Carving pumpkins can be a little messy, and since it's Halloween I get messy with candy too, but since it's so much fun, when the big people leave the room, the little spirits come out to play... 

Once the big people have gone, and the spirits come out to play in the pumpkins... The adorable little Cute Spooky pumpkin ghost - from YOKAI - was dancing around his favourite veggies, while the Little Crows - also from YOKAI but available at Satan Inc until November 1st - get silly and search for their own fab little Halloween costumes... If you look closely, you will also spot a cheeky little Pumpkin Fae fluttering through the pumpkins, laughing at the carved faces and indulging on the sweet treats, like the Pumpkin Candy Latte - from Junk Food - and the delicious donuts that were left by the Big People. She got such a fit of the giggles, the sugar instantly making her high, and she couldn't help but  sprinkle some of her fairy dust to go for a little "Pumpkin Ride" - an awesome vehicle from Ananas, available until October 22nd at Salem.

Dancing at the Rave in the Graveyard!

It's the 8th of October, and that means Day 8 of the 30 days of Halloween... Today's look is something that one might argue is a LITTLE close to some of my everyday style, with perhaps a dash more blood... It's Saturday Night though, and that means that we're getting ready for a night on the town... The little Monster in me is all glammed up, ready to have a party at the Rave Yard in the city, and tonight she's taking a date with her... 

The date in question is one of my favourite people in SL, and he's been with me for almost my entire Second Life... Dean and I have been through so much, he's always been there and has been my rock as well as one of my best friends. We don't often get a chance to pose together, but today we made that chance and since he looked SO Fabulous in the new Salt & Pepper "Desire" outfit, we had to head to the local "RaveYard" club - items from Neverwish - where the music is loud and there's nothing to do but dance the night away! 
I HAD to match his level of Fabulousness... So for my 8th day of Halloween look I glammed myself up as Frankenstein's Bride, complete with oodles of blood and bolts through my neck - bolts from HAUNT at The Engine Room - and her hair styled in such a glamorous Franks style - from FUNKYSTENTCH at Anthem. Accesorised with some beautifully sparkly Marilyn gems - from MOoH! - and some of the coolest looking SHRED piercings - from Normandy at Trick or Treat Lane, that I've shared in a close-up below to show off just a little better - I was ALMOST as fabulous as Dean! Almost, but not quite!!

October is a Busy Month for Candy Demons!

I've had a massive migraine all day, it's only finally calmed a little since I left work early, had a nap, a long hot shower and finally had a chance to eat a bowl of my favourite soup and some toast. It's such a relief that the worst of the pain has subsided. I guess the sugar in my dinner has helped... 
So while I've had sugar on the brain, there's a sugar hungry demoness in me wanting to get out into the light, I'm going to let her... She's going to be my Day 6 look for my 31 Days of Halloween looks... 

She's popular with the Baby Baphies - from Yomi - that are addicted to her sugary treats, everywhere she goes she leaves a trail of sprinkles in the wind. There are so many sugary sprinkles, she is covered in them and for this reason she plays a VERY important role in Halloween season as she's the demon in charge of making sure that all the kids are filled to the brim with candy so chaos is caused! 
It's a super dark magic that creates all of the candy at this time of year, and to control that magic, instead of a wand she's armed with her Sugar Scythe - an awesome creation from Decoy available until October 22nd at Salem - just a swish of her scythe and all the veggies become candies!!! God sometimes I wish that was a real thing hehe...

Playing with her Dolls

I've been working again today, it's been SO busy and although I LOVE working for a small business like the family owned cheese shop that I work in but sometimes working for someone else feels so much like you're a puppet in someone else's game plan... I LOVE my job but I'm still working for a muti-millionaire family earning big bucks selling cheese... I'm just one of their littl retail puppets on some dangling strings... 
So today, for my 31 days of Halloween looks, I'm a cute little rag doll, playing with my own dollies in the confines of my sewing room... Something akin to a certain doll named Sally... 

It's a corridor in the Insomnia House - backdrop collection from MINIMAL - Ragdoll Rudh is a doll that loves to play with dolls, only the dolls that she plays with are much more of the voodoo variety... She loves her tiny little Dead Dolls  - from Tardfish at LEVEL - that swing from her finger tips, and her bigger dollies all get murdered in horrible ways... She looks like a little rag doll, her adorable Patchwork markings - from Sweet Thing - and the Strange and Unusual Bow in her hair - from Exile with the hairstyle worn - are all things that are easily mendable on her sewing machine.

A Dark Adventure at Ghost School

It's OCTOBER!!! Finally the spooky season has started and I'm SO EXCITED!!! There is so much going on this month, and I plan on harming my psyche with 31 different costumes in 31 days!!! I LOVE the spooky season!! It's the best and most wonderful time of the year... 
I also have some of the most amazing news... Our very special, spooky event, a DARK ADVENTURE for 2022 has FINALLY opened!! We're going on a tour of the world and hope that you'll come with us!!! 
Welcome to the Ghost School, and I'm sure this month you'll meet some of the spookies that will be haunting the place... First a trip into the School Gymnasium... 

There's spooky things going on at the Ghost School... Monsters are coming in and going out, a ballgame took place and the head of the cheer squad is disposing of the losing team's captain. Her uniform is a new style in the Anna range - a set released by miss chelsea for the Belleza Event - it makes her school colours, and looks AWESOME!!!

Guarding the Engine Room

There is a rumour going around that something totally top secret is stored within one of the many sub-chambers of the Engine Room... It's so secret that even the rooms creators have no idea exactly what may be stored inside. It's definitely something that is super important though since they have now posted their own brand of armed guards, posted at the gates to the grounds... 

Rudh has been posted as a guard on the northern end of the estate, where the Darkness - a backdrop from IDK Poses - is thick and foggy, puts the senses right on edge... The uniform of these guards is gorgeous but definitely not warm enough for this kind of weather. The Guinevere Jacket - part of the Luas outfit, along with the mask worn in this look - and the Viktoria Corset with this extra caging - available from sixx x wraith at the Engine Room - really doesn't keep you all that warm, althoug it's so chic looking. It looks even better when the St. Czapka Cap - from Grasshopper - is added to the top! 
These guards may not be very warmly dressed, but they are very well armed... The Aether Stream Pistol - a weapon from Artemisia - is a brutal pistoal charged with ionic techology that will obliterate anything that it touches, and if that wasn't enough power, the Magus Rod - from Quills & Curiosities at The Warehouse - will freeze you on the spot the moment that you try to cross a guard...

A Long Train Ride Home

OH MY GOD IT'S FINALLY THE DAY... I've been counting down to this day for WEEKS now!!! It's finally time for me to step out of my SL world and into the RL one as I'm leaving for a week of family time!! I'm heading back to the UK, finally, after all of the Covid restrictions and my nightmare of being in the hospital... It's finally time to go home and reset my batteries! 

Getting ready to go is always a fun task, making sure I have everything that I need but remembering I'm going home not to somewhere totally strange, and kissing my fur babies goodbye!! That part is always the hardest part!!! I ALWAYS miss my fur babies!!!

Anyone wanna play ball?

The weekends are all for fun and games - when you're an adult I guess you have to pay a little more attention to being a grown up - they should ALWAYS be for fun and games. In the next few months, I might end up trying to do things that are more energetic games as I'm making changes in my RL, but that's a story for another time. 
Time to go and play today though, I'm going to go play... Looks like the team have started without me... 

The team are preparing for the finals - thanks to the backdrop from FOXCITY - but they let me have this one chance to come and join in the practice for a game or two... MASTER... Dinner is Prepared!

I've had this film and it's songs on my mind for a few days... I'm dreaming of going to visit the Frankenstein Place, and dancing around with the various characters, I'd even love a good romp with the young Mr Tim Curry in his Rocky Room... But alas, it was not to be the case... I'd never get to be the Janet I'm far too much the Magenta hehe... 
Unfortunately there's no Frankenfurter either... Just Hellboneddy, yes that's HellBone as Eddy, it's less meatloaf and more gehaktball lol... Still we know what happened to Eddy... "MASTER DINNER IS PREPARED!" 

Honestly I blame Diffthought - the Mastermind behind Ananas - for getting the songs stuck deep in my mind, and causing not just me, but HellBone to go a little bonkers today lol... Spiders in the Dark

There are so many phobias in the world, but there are some that are worse than others... So many people are deathly afraid of spiders, personally I'm not afraid of them - though I will admit that I'm not keen on them too - there's just something about the creepy crawlie, that unlike any other bug it makes people feel scared. 
Of course, it wouldn't be Halloween without the odd spider or two - people say the same about Aliens and OK I accept it and avoid them - but for me there's always going to be a spider at Halloween... 

Spiders seem to like the dark, spooky places, so it's no wonder that Halloween is full of them... Their webs will sparkle in the dark and brush softly against your skin to make you jump... 
This year, when our little Spider Maiden crawls out of the darkness she has plans to show off her super soft dress based on a model by the famous "Charlotte" - a dress from Salem - while she shows off some new Arachnae Horns and Legs - an amazing set of things that you can find from October 22nd at Spookzilla in the Boutique #187 prizes!

That's WAY Too Much Sugar!

Tis Friday night... Time for a party, and it's going to be a wildly exciting party... It's almost Halloween this month, and all the spookies are out in force to celebrate... I heard a rumor that the best kinda parties are the ones held by the Skelly types, apparently they can get really wild!  
It's kinda funny because you'd think there would be nobodies there lol... Such a cheesy pun, but so worth it... That is until on of my friends took a bit of a turn and then passed out... 

On the dancefloor in the city tonight, the skeletons are having an awesome Friday night party... The DJ is spinning on the decks and the cute skele-animals are even joining in.
I love the flashing lights of the Halloween Sign - from Krescendo, available until October 31st at Salem - but it gets people so excited to enjoy the party and eat lots and lots of candy, provided in the Junk Food Pumpkin Buckets... 
The only problem with the free flowing candy is that some people get a little too over excited, and they pass out with all the sugar... It happened to my poor buddy, he was so hyped up on candy that he ended up legless on the dancefloor - he's really an awesome 'Char'Boo'terie' Board from Junk Food at Satan Inc...

It's nearly Halloween and it's a time that the Monsters are beginning to wake up and I think that I'm ready to start helping them to wake up... My favourite of them to wake is definitely the vampires, especially the lords of them... You could say that I'm a little bit of a fan girl when it comes to the dark, brooding, but non-Twilight vampire types hehe... 

The Lord of the Vampires will be deathly hungry when he wakes from his sleep... I think that he may need some entertainment and fresh blood when he wakes in his sleeping quarters. I'm willing to offer my services, if I can only get rid of his minders - thes adorable STOIC Bats - first...
The room is set ready for his 'arousal' - both figuratively and literally - and his Bed - from Violetility - is ready for him to Rest in Peace once he's done hehe...

Nightmares at School

Today has been a day of what the fuckery... I got called into work suddenly in an emergency but there was so much to do that I was kept busy at least. Yet it was all pencil and paper work, when the internet is down in a store that relies on the internet for everything from pin card payments to the safe and even setting the alarm at the end of the day... Working with pencil was driving me nuts, having to write everything down... It reminded me of nightmares at school... 

In this nightmare, the cute little school girl in me was being chased through the corridors of school by two very recognisable characters - although today they are in very adorable teddy bear form from Junk Food as gifts at Satan Inc, for Teddy Kruegar, and at SL Shop & Hop for the Ghost Teddy - but I got so scared that I accidentally destroyed my own teddy... 
The nightmare got worse and I found myself falling over onto a huge pencil that just seemed to be taunting me, hovering in the middle of the corridor.. My Casual-Tee - a release from Ananas from Salem - wasn't much protection from the giant pencil, it stabbed straight through me...

A Visit to Madam Magic

I love this time of year, when I get to play dress up, and I have to say that even though I can't wait to get myself dark and macabre, but then I forget sometimes that I can do pretty magic around Halloween too!!! I opted today for a little magic... A little good magic to get the party started and bring in the magic of the month with a little sparkle... 

To start the magic, I'm on a little shopping trip to Madam Magic's store - a backdrop from Synnergy - parking my broom in the Broom Parking Rack - thanks to Candle & Cauldron - that was hanging on the fence outside.
I dashed in to get all my Halloween spookies, and even picked up a new crystal ball... While I was in the shop I bought myself a new set of Dark Magic Butterflies, in multiple colours - from YOKAI at Anthem - and a brand new fabulous Twinkle Witch Hat - from Neverwish at Salem - that made me super happy...

Being a little Punk

 LAZY WEEKEND!!! The weather here is yucky, so I'm doing the smart thing and staying indoors, but I'm also finding myself wondering how it can feel more like February than May weather right now... I'm also more than a little sleepy and I cannot work out why... It's a lot of wondering what is going on LOL... Rudh decided that while I was mulling all of that over she'd pop out and have a peaceful smoke break in the hallway... Anything to get away from my mind!

It started all because of a pair of different but totally awesome looking jeans from Psycho Barbie and once I'd fallen in love with them, I spent the next hour trying to dig through my hoard to find the perfect look and somehow they just happened to be Punk! A Zombie Romance

That feeling of love being int he air, the first fleeting moments are so beautiful when everything is glowing and fresh and new... There is nothing better than that feeling. No matter who you are, no matter who you are in love with - so long as it's legal of course - then everything is wonderful... 
Even the little living dead me cannot resist that feeling. This little dead girl found herself a little dead boy... 

They only problem is that he's so far away, he lives on the other side... That's right, she's got friends on the other side. He lives in the underworld and the only way that she can communicate with him is by sending him love letters - thanks to the STOIC Yandere Love Letter Postal System - she writes her letters and posts them to her dead love, using his pet crow as their deliverer. 
Some days, like today, he'd managed to send her a gorgeous sent of her favourite death bloom lilies as a way of telling her "I miss you" - available until May 10th at Kustom9 from Tentacio...

In the Neon Light

Honestly recently I´ve been getting the creative feeling back and making pictures that are making me feel happy. Trying to enjoy myself playing with photography, more for the fun of it than just purely because I need to find something to blog... I realised recently that the deadlines were becoming more of the priority, and since I made other changes to my SL, now it´s time to do this too... 
I've been playing a lot with Neon Colours and mixing them into my dark style, and the results are making me super happy...

This outfit was actually a look-of-the-day that I'd thrown on in the spur of the moment... I LOVE this Naahmah dress, from Salem - which I will admit had me singing the classic muppet song "mah nah men ah" while I was putting the look together - and then I added the fine details such as this Medicated Tattoo from FIKA - that has a selection of different word slogans you can choose from - and the gorgeous jewellery collection, called Royals, from RAWR! It was an outfit that made me smile and well, I think the picture, shows just how much I love it perhaps LOL...

I'm in Hell!

 Some days, I feel like I am in Hell, my head is in a war with itself and I spend far too much time over-thinking everything. One of my thoughts for this year, was to try to put myself into a happier frame of mind. Allow myself to stop thinking about everything over and over in my mind, or discussing things back and forth with myself. Sometimes I feel like I'm in Hell.. 

Of course, any excuse to dress like a little demonic hellion is always something I will jump at the chance for. I LOVE my outfit too,
I fell in love with these short the moment I spotted them at an event, they are a pair of Cyber Love Shorts - from Moon - but when I added them with the Lilith Corset - from Salem - and the Wytch Armor from The Rotting Lab it just seemed to be the perfect outfit for the little demonic me!
