Rituals for Salvage and Enchantment

Today has been a day off for me, and you can tell that it's been a day off because I've had a chance to get very creative and make something magical when it comes to blogging... Don't get me wrong I LOVE all of the things that I share here but there are some days when I feel like the magic is just that little more magical... 
It's getting magically cold, some might say somewhat Frostbitten and more than a little salvaged... Magically cold and collected from salvaged things... 

A Frozen Ritualist - which is actually the name of the tattoo from AURO, that you can get your hands on at the Frostbitten Enchantment Graveyard - was performing a Ritual - in a backdrop from FOXCITY - involving a mirror and a very large Tsarknife - from FOE, available now at Salvage Station - but ended up getting herself Possessed... Boken glass from the mirror went everywhere, including being embedded into her chest... Luckily she's magical and can withstand the pain...

Magic Beyond the Mirror!

I feel like I needed a little magic in my life today and whilst I was still waking up, I had a notecard come through that one of my bucket list stores had accepted me into their blogger team... I was elated and it's the magic I needed... I feel like I woke up from a slumber and the sparkling light allowed me to break free into the magical depths of my mind where the deepest and best magic resides... 

While tidying up some of the mess in my inventory, to distract myself from my mind, I found myself in a Forgotton Room - which is actually a backdrop from Dirty Rat - looking into a beautiful old mirror that without even the touch of a breath very quickly became a Broken Mirror - a gorgeous item from Moon Amore - that pulled me through it's broken glass to another world full of light and magic...

Dropped the F-Bomb

I've been told that sometimes I swear like a Sailor. I have no problem cussing, and will shout the words from the rooftops if I have to. I LOVE to be able to cuss, it's such a good way of releasing tension and it gives me cause for giggles sometimes - especially when my RL father tries to tell me off for it, when I'm 33 - but there are times when you really wanna cuss but can't due to the surroundings or situations... It's so hard not to drop an F-BOMB!

I'm having one of those times a lot at the moment, everywhere you go in SL all the events and shopping are geared towards hearts and flowers, romance and couples... Now I know I'm in a couple, but we're NOTHING like Valentines romance... So I'm about ready to drop an F-Bomb - it won't stop me shopping, I'm still spending lots on pretties, but yeah... It's F-BOMB time!
Luckily, at the upcoming round of EBento, Kay Weston of Image Essentials has come to the rescue. She's created a couple of poses - male and female versions - so that we can do just that, drop the F-Bomb I mean! 
Now OK, granted she is wearing hearts too... They cannot be avoided, but the MuggleBorn MiniBikini can be textured into lots of different colours and even has some adorable patterns. I had to go a little hearty, just before I dropped the F-Bomb!

Head Full of Space

Well it's Sunday, and the weekend is almost over, I feel like I should be relaxed but actually the thought of going to work tomorrow is filling me with dread, I'm FAR too tired and a holiday seems like the best thing right now. I feel like I'm not on the planet anymore, like my head is floating in space and there's nothing in it but clouds of dust! 

In fact if you could put my feelings into an image it would be exactly like this right... A look of emptiness on my face and the swirling of stars around in my mind! I'm lost in space, which I'll admit is never a good place to find me since I have more than a little fear of aliens!

Pentas for the Angels

I'm so all over the place with my blog sometimes, it could make your head spin. If you didn't know it was my crazy brain then you might be confused and think WTF is going on, but those of you that follow me will know I'm never able to keep up with one style for more than a few posts at a time, and today WELL the girlie me had to be allowed out to play... 
I went a little angellic today, I have no idea how it got to this point, my mind found one teeny item and ran away with it and well... Here we are!!! Bet you can't guess what made my mind think, angel?!

You'll probably laugh if I tell you, but the entire reason for this look was actually the teeny tiny Penta Septum Piercing by Zombie Suicide - which is available at the current round of Suicide Dollz!! I know it's barely visible in the picture, but I made you look, and I've been good - the ad is below - it's SO CUTE, and really well made and I love it!!! I may be trading in my skully nose piercing for it for a while!

Rainbow Mistress

I have always said that I am one of those weird people who love rainbows and sparkles, as well as the dark and macabre. I love cute, fluffy little animals, but at the same time I'm living my SL as a living dead doll... Variety is the spice of life, at least that's how the saying goes isn't it?! 
I'm excited today to tell you two things... Firstly the new round of Eclipse has officially opened it's dark macabre doors, and secondly, well, the event is actually allowing the two different sides of me to interact... October Never Dies, but this month, there's a RAINBOW TOO!!! 

Of course, the little slut in me was screaming to get out too, so I let her wear the rainbows - geez it's like there's a million different voices in my head sometimes... 
Peculiar Things made a cap of Burning Glory for the new round of Eclipse. It comes in an array of different colours ranging from the standard gothic black to a pastel rainbow shaded design, yet it is the limited edition Blaze that won my attention!! It gave me a feeling of power, RAINBOW POWER, a mistress type dominance that I never knew I had, hence why now I'm going to start sharing some of Mistress's Rules - a release from -Extra- along with this pose for Suicide Dollz. I still see you!!

I'm at home in the UK... I didn't really think that I'd be getting much in the way of blogging done, in fact I even warned everyone that I'd be gone for the week, but actually whilst I am working I have a little time to sit down and share some of my blogging thoughts with everyone. I'm feeding my addiction whilst getting paid and still being able to chat to my mum across the room... IT'S GREAT!!
So today I'm being a little more of a big kid than normal, which frankly sounds kinda funny but it's the way being at home makes me feel... I'm also here with a warning to someone I'm very close to in SL...

Time to Call Home

I can't actually believe it but it's been a week now since my parents left... Where the heck does the time go, it seems to have flown past! I guess it's time for me to make my weekly call home - check in to make sure everyone is OK and so that they can know I'm fine too...

Rock on in the Stars

Some days you just want to shut out the world and have some time to yourself, and that's what today has been for me! I wanted to just hide from the world and do something a little weird and mad and crazy all for myself... 
Hence why this picture came to life...

Snack Time for the Mermaid at the Zoo

Ever feel like you need a break, be it a change of routine, a chance to escape from the every day life or even just a different view out the window... 
It's at times like this that I tend to slip into the world of crazy fantasy in my head, and the best characters are created... Sometimes it's fae, others demon but in a few cases I tend to release the inner mermaid into the light... 
Today is a mermaid day! Today, the mermaid that is being held captive at the zoo is being fed her favourite delicacy of goldfish... 

She's the number 1 attraction at the local zoo... They vary her style throughout the day, sometimes she has a tail and others the water is drained so she's on her skinny legs. She's fed in a punchbowl full of sparkling water and goldfish, which she's developed a habit for drinking in wineglasses - thanks to the awesome "Snack" pose by Reve Obscura - dressed in the sheerest of dresses from MuggleBorn.

Sins Released... Wrath on a Train

So when the Fortune Teller sat to make her predictions about what would happen this month, I wonder if she had any idea that this month would see an appearance of some of the world's most dangerous Demons. 
Thanks to Image Essentials the Seven Deadly Sins have been given a day in the light... I LOVE the collection and I plan on giving each a little time in the lime light... 
Today is the turn of WRATH... Let's start out with the angry, dangerous Sin... The one that you need to be aware of and avoid making mad... Wait... She's always mad?!?!

This post came about not only because of the sins poses, but also because of the amazing gasmasks, the Hideki Masks, made by Zombie Suicide for the current round of Limit8. Now there are 2 versions available... One with limited colours available for the event, and also a version that will be available after the event. Due to the use of her mask though, for some reason Wrath as a Demon is a little more cybernetic than I first thought she might be... Angels of Love

Yesterday was his day... He like Santa, gets one special day of the year to shine and seem important, but really who is interested in a baby that flies and shoots arrows... There must be a health and safety code violation in there somewhere?!
Although I will admit, that YES It's a chance for me to play dress up, and I NEVER miss a chance to play dress up... So I did what the masses did, and dressed in red, and made myself look a bit romancy angellic lol... 

If Rudh got a freelance job working as Cupid, Cupid would look a little like this lol... A little latex, a little silk, thanks to Pixicat and Aluetia... BUT I guess the thing I'm most excited about with this outfit is that I was able to treat myself to a pair of the amazingly gorgeous Blueberry Bento Wings!!! 
It was an outfit that made me happy, even if the idea of Valentines makes me itchy LOL... Maybe I will think of myself more as an angel of love the rest of the year... YESSS that's better!

FLY!

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I'm running around and feeling more than a little crazy hyper today, don't ask me why I have NO idea, but it feels good to have a sudden burst of Happiness! I've always been told a Smile makes you seem beautiful, and right now I'm smiling... I can't help it, I started working on a picture and it came out great and full of laughter... 

I started out wondering how the best way it would be to show off these adorable little horns from Zombie Suicide. The horns are currently available at the latest round of Suicide Dollz, but for some reason when I put them on, rather than wanting to be dark and monstrous - which is my usual style I will admit - I wanted to be outside running wild free and a little silly... 
So I went over to the beautiful Mystical Fae Forest, and did just that, being silly, tying balloons to my hair and pretending I could fly!

Kinky Wonderland

Sometimes I want to slip away... Today I'm having one of those days where I want to either slap someone for being stupid or just run away and hide. It doesn't help that I'm trying to quit smoking in RL, but some of the people I work with are simply asking for it today! 
So I'm going to take the easier option and run away for a while, maybe to Wonderland... Sounds like a very good idea to me. I have always loved the idea of Wonderland...

I know it's not the first time I've ever mentioned my love of Wonderland, and I'm sure as hell it won't be my last mention of it either. Yet, today I need to escape to somewhere like this more than ever. Luckily the perfect backdrop, for me to slip into Wonderland was at WHOLE WHEAT, when she landed in Wonderland and was able to get her bearings she spotted a little glass heart on the floor, picking it up and peeking through it - thanks to a pose and prop from {NANTRA} at the current round of ULTRA - she saw a totally different side to wonderland, something a little darker perhaps, a world ruled by the Queen of Hearts... 
Aside from the use of this awesome pose, this picture is actually all because of the fact that a while ago now - I think it was way way way back at Candy Fair - I bought this outfit from Moon Amore and have been waiting all this time to use it! It's amazeballs, pure and simply, I cannot think of a better way to describe it! Now I did something I'd never usually do with this outfit. I bought a FatPack, the reason being is that you could colour all the pieces individually, whereas the single colours everything was just a varying shade of the same colour - something to bear in mind in case you wanna look at this outfit for yourself!

Suffer in Silence

YAY Ranty Post Time!!!! It's been a while since my Rambles have been on the ranty side but sometimes after bottling it up a while I want to find a safe place to release it without blowing it up on someone in my friendship group and drowning in unnecessary drama! So fair warning people if you're not wanting to read the rant, look at the pretty picture and then skip to the end for the credits, and I promise this will not happen too often!!

Now for the ranty part... You have been warned...
Communication and Feelings are two VERY dangerous tools in the human mind... They are sometimes misleading and can cause all kinds of different emotional troubles in a person, and these can be fairly volatile in their appearance. SL seems to be a place though where communication is often the biggest cause of bad feeling within anyone it seems. In RL, communication is key any relationship, but with SL things have to be communicated in a totally different way. In SL, there are no real facial expressions and no eyes to read, there can only be words of another person that you hear or see... Sometimes intonation can help with understanding, but unfortunately this isn't always the way it works...
People in SL have a nasty habit of hiding in the anonymity of their avatars - not all granted but many people seem to have a reason not to reveal their true feelings. I myself can be called guilty of this. I bottle everything away, and still often have a massive lack of confidence when it comes to standing up for myself.
In the past few months, things have slowly been unravelling for me and my SL "family". I have to say I've hidden, I haven't been able to express myself about things, but today right here I'm going to say what I need to say... In SL we CHOOSE to be a part of a group that has a family feel to it, it's not something anyone can force on you. I understand sometimes that people may feel a need to move on and try something new, but what upsets me is when people make that choice to move on and simply seem to forget those that they left behind. Not taking the time to say goodbye, not taking the time to come to you later on and say hello, and waiting until you make the first move when it was them that walked away in the first place...
For now I remain "Lovesick" and wear a Mouth Silencer, these people know who I am talking about, they know where to find me, and I hope that they find the time to come say hello, or I will have to find the time to let myself realise that they weren't close enough if I'm going to have to chase them, and maybe I can let them go... Find the feelings of strength and once again, hide the feelings of hurt...

Elixir to Fix the Problems

Today's post will contain a little magic, a bit more scarring and a rather necessary - for me anyway - rant about something that's on my mind... I warn you, the prettiest thing about this post is my picture, the rest is going to be rather messy. So I implore you to forgive me and hope that if you're not interested in my ranting ramble that you'll just skip that part and only look at the picture and Outfit chatter, because I'd hate to see you miss out on something awesome! 
What is needed is a little magic potion to help heal some of these scars... Be they the scars of frustration or the scars of a more physical kind. 

First up a little chat about my pretty picture of today... Rudh developed a nasty rash on her face that turned out to be of the pox variety - thanks to a Twisted Hunt Prize from SongBird. Luckily she was told about a witch in the woods that made SongBird Elixirs which could cure her problems...
Now for the rant, but please scroll down if you want to know more about this pretty picture, there's more to follow, I've included an outfit list as always!!!
So my rant today is about Flickr and it's safety level process... It's the WORST customer service that I've ever seen from ANY company to date, they are the most unhelpful admin company that I've found and it's bringing me to tears - I will admit. Now granted in the past I've been a bit silly when it comes to not ensuring the correct safety level was set for some of my pictures that I share on Flickr. I am not going to place the entire blame on them, but what I will say is that when it comes to assistance in finding out what I need to do to change that, I'm meeting brick wall after brick wall.
Eight or Nine times now I've spent hours and hours working through my Flickr stream, setting the moderate pictures and making sure that anything following their rules was set to the correct level of restriction. I've done it so often now that everything seems to be a blur, and rather than settling for optimistic about things I'm taking a very pessimistic route and being extremely cautious. My MC Sister Lilian even took it upon herself to go through the stream for me and make suggestions that I may have missed. Yet rather than leaving everything Moderate, they decided that now my ENTIRE STREAM should be set to Restricted... Granted I post some pictures with a sexual content, be it obvious or subtle, but there are a lot of picture which could be considered as safe... Like this one for example.
Now I am waiting AGAIN to see if I can get it changed back to a moderate setting, but seriously it's draining. I feel like giving up, why am I even bothering sometimes? Yet I know I need to fight on and get this sorted, it's not just a place for me to showcase what I can do anymore, it's a matter of principle. Just a message to anyone reading this, please be careful what you're posting and what level of safety you're setting it too... You could end up playing a game of UGH this sucks like I seem to be doing a lot at the moment!!! 
That's my rant over, I just wish this magical Elixir would help solve more problems than just Rudh's pox...

Bad Spells summon the Ghosts

One of my favourite events in SL is back again for a new round and I am like a kid in a candy store at Christmas that's more than a little excitable! Then what with the opening of The Dark Style Fair too, I'm giddy with excitement and need to calm down a bit before I pass out LOL... 
It brings out my dead doll side and created a great amount of creativity, I was a happy girl with a LONG shopping list and well... It's like Halloween comes every 4 months!! I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!! 
The darkness and macabreness of this event draws me in, reaching out with ghostly hands luring me in to play in the dark graveyard... 

I'm talking about the event called Memento Mori - the best event dedicated to the dark, macabre, and horrific! It's definitely my favourite event, and I get sad that I have to wait for 3 months between each round LOL... 
Still lets talk about some of my look shall we?! The Hair is a main part of this photo, and when I saw this at Memento Mori I HAD to have it. Now I will say, it's a little strange to see me wearing black hair, but the red colours in the NANI Kiran Hair choices were not really my tone and I'm very happy that I chose the monochrome pack instead... It looks so sad and dark and twisted!! I LOVE IT! I will admit that I added a couple of accessories to my hair, in the form of the runic Elemental Halo and the spiked Deucalion Halo, but I had a story in my mind of a witch being dragged into the darkness for using a bad spell! 
Her already scared face enhanced by this Blaspheme scar - created by a SongBird - as she was being dragged away. The remorse showing in her Teary Green Lua Eyes - thanks to these amazing eyes from Izzie's and the gift of a generous friend! 
I love this picture so much, it's haunting, melancholy and beautiful - at least I think so - and for me it's just perfect for Memento Mori...

Dead Inside; Leaking Ectoplasm

I often spend a lot of my time flicking through the amazing creations of the people that I follow on Flickr. So many wonderful, creative minds are active there, that it is a bit like a private gallery showing sometimes. I find myself wishing that I had skills like that, or laughing and thinking "dammit why didn't I think of that?" and sometimes I even feel all the emotion that is poured into the pictures from the creator. Yet I look at my photos, and although I love them, I always find myself thinking "why is one more popular than the other?" When I go a little kookie with things it seems like it's less well liked than when I am a bit more normal... Not that it bothers me, I mean I do this for my own personal fun but I wonder what people think when they look at other people's creations, it just intrigues me!! 

Yesterday's post was a little weird, I will fully admit that, and so today I'm going back to something a little more normal for me, today I am going for that feisty dead doll look, and perhaps - although it's not normal for me to post one of these - I will say it's my Look-Of-The-Day, YAY! 
Take in an amazing set at WHOLE WHEAT, using a pretty scary looking axe - from the Ragnar Pose by Image Essentials - that I picked up in this post-apocalyptic city scene, Rudh is a little Dead Inside and is actually leaking ectoplasmic brain goo!! 
She's a dead doll, it wouldn't be normal if it wasn't ectoplasm right?! The drippy face look is actually a new make-up release from Nightmare, that includes 4 colours - green is shown obviously - and a white for tinting, at the new round of Suicide Dollz. 
This outfit definitely feels more Rudhish than yesterdays LOL... Hence a look of the day for lil me!!

Gagged for The Matrix

Tomorrow is the last day in March, that mean's 2017 has already been through the first quarter of it's time?! HOW THE HECK HAS THAT HAPPENED?! When you are a kid a year between visits from Santa seems to take such a long time, but now  that I'm in my 30s it's really a case of blink and you miss it?! 
Maybe as you get older, time speeds up for those of us living in this "Matrix"... They need to get the old out to start the new, perhaps? 

Summed up, Rudh's life in the "Matrix" is a kinky-ish place, lots of naughtiness going on, in her head at least, so sometimes she just needs to learn to gag herself to avoid further trouble. Luckily some of the designers that she has the privilege of blogging for are willing to help her out with this, and yes I've used one of the poses in this set before but I didn't think it would hurt to give another nod to the collaboration of Image Essentials and 1313, who made these kinky props poses for Bento Second Lifers! 
All this talk of the Matrix though is the fault of one designer in particular. I may be a little late in getting this post out here, but the Twisted Hunt has been running for the month of March, and SongBird made items that were clearly a nod to that movie franchise... The Infinity Glasses - are a Twisted Gacha Prize - that would look perfect on the movie heroine, Trinity, whilst if you carefully look into my eyes you will see "The Truth" and the Matrix coding reveals itself. You have to believe me when I say you can actually see the Matrix code slipping through my eyes, they are The Truth, or if you don't believe me you can go get them for yourself if you run down to the store before tomorrow!
