Harvest Treats Time!

I know that Autumn doesn't officially start until September 22nd, but that isn't about to stop me from getting into the Autumn Spirit as it's my favourite time of the year... I LOVE the autumn, and although I'm trying hard to avoid all things pumpkin right now, I'm going to start letting the leaves fall, collecting the conkers that the trees gift us and wrapping myself in lots and lots of snuggly blankets while I cuddle a cup of tea and read a book... 
There are a few tasks that I have to get done this time of year... I started to assist the mushroom folk in their harvest, and today I get to harvest something even more magical... 

Being a magical being has it's perks and that's why the plants in my perfect little magical greenhouse are now ready for the harvest of some very interesting treats... The Sugarfora - from dust bunny at  kustom9 until September 10th - have been growing hard and have some delicious treats for us this year... The hanging Macaron, the Donut Tree and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Bush keep me happy with delicious treats all Winter if I am lucky, I have already got a crop of Iced Pink donuts - in a bucket from Junk Food - and am testing the chocolate chip cookies which I have to tell you are DELICIOUS!!!

Card Magic for a Royal?!

I am currently in a VERY deep rut... I seem to put together an outfit that I LOVE, that I feel happy showing off and being seen in, and then when it comes down to actually taking the picture, I feel like I'm way off and it's not good enough. I don't know if I'm just in an unhappy place right now, or if I'm genuinely just over thinking that my pictures aren't what I want them to be and subconciously comparing them to others again... It's like being a magician that's rubbish at card tricks right now... 

I'd never be a good magician I am far too worried about putting on a good show and I'd end up being ill... I'm terrible at putting on a show, though saying that I put on a show of being happy and confident and smily most of the time and right now that mask has slipped... 
I feel like I'd be lost in my own mind, a Wonderland of sorts and I feel lost... Magic or no magic, I'm feeling lost... One thing I do know is that I can still put a kick ass outfit together, least I won't lose that skill I suppose, but then that's like putting on a mask and I'm very good at that... 
Knowing me, I'd be wandering down a Grand Hall - a backdrop from Paparazzi - heading to do a magic show for the queen and it would all go horribly wrong...

Peach Treats for the Wee Cows!

Well guess who is back again, it's been a VERY busy few days with a visit from my parents but I'm finally back and have SO MUCH to catch up on that I don't really know where to start at all... This visit was mostly for the SAIL Amsterdam event, but entertaining people that are staying in your house definitely feels draining lol... I love my parents, I couldn't ive with them... 
I have a lot of things to catch up on right now... Plants need watering, and there are animals that need caring for on the farm... Let's go do that, it will help to relax me...

Pool Time Fun!

It's getting hot again!! The temperature is rising just as I've got to start cleaning my house to make sure everything is ready to go home... WHY DO THE GODS HATE ME?!
All I want to to do is find a way to cool down, I want to shower every five minutes and swim somewhere cool and preferably shady... I wish I had a pool!!!

I'm not sure if Rudh is chilling in her rubber ring, or if she's making a terrible cannonball bomb into the pool and is about to get herself stuck in a rubber ring she's landing on... 
You can see that her fishy buddies are experiencing her arrival with different reactions... The Bubble Buddies, such cute little fishies - from Krescendo - are watching on with a little concern, but it's the Chompy Sharks - from Snuggle&Co, still available until July 13th at Summerfest - that seem to be enjoying it... Their pearly whites are definitely on show like they are smiling anyway...

Let's make today F*cking Perfect!

I have had the day off today and it's been lovely... I had planned to get a few things done but that was NEVER going to happen considering the mood that I was in. I have been in a bit of a meh place when it comes to blogging lately, I am and may still be in a bit of a rut for a while, but for some reason I just cannot get myself into the game... I'm sorry for that... I am trying, and will keep trying, and today I had to force myself to get into the right mind set... 

I decided to get myself into some blogging and try to pass the blogging rut... I had on an outfit that made me feel a Marie Antoinette gone modern, Pink Ladyish Barbie... I have been living in this outfit and felt that it NEEDED to be shared and it could definitely help me make the cogs start moving... 
The outfit started because of the top from the Elyn Set - from miss chelsea - with a few perfectly placed accessories and some tight black pants... It was a great start, and I decided that another great start would need something to sustain me I went onto the terrace at the Delmonte Villas - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - where I helped myself to a Fucking Perfect Small Cup of Coffee - which was released by Boutique #187 at Astrophe - lit a cigarette and then played the game of what jam would I have on my fresh croissant... A Delicious Easter Brunch

Yesterday was Easter Sunday and we saw a visit from Easter Bunny who filled my home with chocolates and yummy things, and today the Easter feeling continues as it is Easter Monday... 
For those that follow Christianity or Catholicism, this weekend has been one of spiritual importance, made a little sadder this year due to the death of the current Pope. For people like me it's more about the adorable Easter Bunny and his delicious Easter treats...
Today, HellBone and I have finally had some time for a delicious Easter brunchfast... 

The Easter Bunny did us a MASSIVE delicious brunchfast, with all the lovely things he brought... 
There were some amazing Hot Cross Buns - from vespertine - which are a staple for me for Easter Breakfasts from when I was growing up in the UK and they are something I dearly miss now that I don't live there. The bunny wanted us to have them with chocolate and ice cream, which seemed weird but I'm willing to give everything a go... There were dippy eggs to eat with toast and croissants, and MASSES of chocolate in the form of chocolate bunnies, my favourite tiny chocolate eggs and some of the delicious Junk Food Primbury Eggs - HellBone is addicted to the real Cadbury's Creme Eggs and these are the closest I've found in SL...

Lunch with Mum!

There have been two things about today that need to be paying a lot of attention to. First of them would be the fact that the hour has changed to summertime setting and therefore when we woke up, we had lost an hour of sleep so that it would be lighter for an hour longer each day... 
Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, today is Mother's Day in the UK and so I'm spending some time thinking of my mum, missing her a bit and smiling about her a lot... I count mysef as a lucky one, my mum has always been my bestie and I love her even though I don't get to see her enough now I'm living in the NL... So this one is for Mummy...  

I don't get to see her often, like I said, I feel very lucky for the relationship with my mum. I'm also lucky in that I've still got her with me, and it's very nearly a big birthday for her... Mum turns 70 in the week... 
So since I can't be with there in person I'm going to make her a very special SL lunch... A hot steaming bow of the most delicious Paella - from Lucas Lameth - with a lovely green Fresh Salad - from Junk Food - that she can have with some of her favourite ranch dressing and some fresh crusty bread - from Nutmeg... I'll even grab the things I need to make some bubbly tropical mimosas - part of the Gokotta line from Dahlia - and set the table with her favourite spring flowers, a bunch of sunny daffodils...

My 39th Year Starts...

Tomorrow is my Birthday, and I'm posting this a little early because tomorrow I won't be around as I should be doing some fun things... I don't know what I'm planning to do yet but I will find some trouble to get myself into... I have to celebrate some way though, tomorrow is the start of the last year of my 30s... Tomorrow I turn 39... 

I don't really want to do much to celebrate because I'm feeling sleepy and would rather just have a relaxing day. I will say though, there will be lots of yummy things to eat... PLENTY of Cake and other yummy goodies...

Valentine's Treats!

I know that I have said that I am away in the UK, and that I wouldn't be blogging anything because I'm having family time... Well... That was a kinda fib on my part, it's Valentine's Day and I wouldn't have been able to pass this romance filled day by without sharing SOMETHING on my rambling space would I?! If you answered yes to that, I wonder, do you even know me at all? LOL... Of course I'd find the time to do something full of romance and hearts and far too much sweetness... 

Of course, I will admit that I KNEW there might be something coming. I got ahead of myself and set something up before I left home because I knew myself and that I simply couldn't pass by a day like Valentine's without having something to say here lol... It's an addiction I fully admit to, and I'm going to own it... 
So I'll keep things short and sweet today, and send lots of love hugs and kisses... Remember to love yourself today, doesn't matter if you're in the self-love club or you're happily with someone... Loving yourself is an important step to greatness and if there is ONE PERSON in this world we should all be able to rely on, it's ourselves...

Planet Aysa Creama

I'm loving having time off work and I've not even left for my vacation yet, all that happens tomorrow, and today I've just been busying myself getting all ready to go... 
We've had dinner and my hubby has told me that there is Ice Cream in the freezer for dessert... Now all I can think about is Ice Cream...

Magically Bird Brained

It is time... Finally it is time... I AM ON VACATION!!!! I have a few days in the Netherlands to get some stuff done but on Wednesday I leave and I'm travelling to see my parents again... For now though I feel a little magical, though that could be the crazy busy day I've had and all of the cold medicine, but let's just go with the magic... 

There are still many magical beings in SL, visiting whilst the Midnight Order is still in town. It's here for a few days longer yet, but they are beginning to prepare for a trip to another time and place... 
The mistress of crows is waiting in the clock tower for the Glassed Crow - which grows within the mind of it's mistress and is actually a release from Tardfish - is getting excited... Some might call her bird brained, but when he's excited something magical is about to happen...

Smell the Roses

It's the last day of January, WHERE HAS THE FIRST MONTH OF THE YEAR GONE... How can it already be one month less until Christmas?! My mother always used to tell me to enjoy it because when you're an adult time goes by so fast... 
In the fantasy world in my head, they are undergoing massve preparations for this month's holiday festivities... February is the month of love remember?! 

In the Cathedral Study - from ChiMia at Midnight Order - the officers in the Regency court - which is coincidentally the name of the outfit I'm wearing from The Forge - are preparing for the month of Romance. There is a lot to get done over the next two weeks in the run up to Cupid's day... 
Though there is ALWAYS time to stop and smell the scent of the roses that linger in the air....

Good Times for Dolls in Malibu Baby

One thing I love about my form of blogging is that as I'm so random I never know what will come out of my brain at any time... I LOVE being something pretty and fantastical, I love being dark and twisted and I LOVE being bright, colourful and weird... Some days I'm more random than others, and today for some reason I've had the Barbie Girl song rammed deep in my brain... That lead to me being invited to a very strange party... 

When my friend said "hey there is a new party location in Malibu Baby - a backdrop from FOXCITY by the way - called "Good Times" - with a sign made by Krescendo for the current round of Man Cave - that has a cinema, pool and a dance club... It was the perfect place for a doll, living or dead like me to explore. So I got myself all dolled up, something Barbie-esque, lots of pink and cute - in a shirt from Adora-tions, and a pink fluffy coat from GABRIEL - but I feel like I had a bit of a wires crossed moment... 
The kind of dolls that were to be found poolside were not what I was expecting... The Blowup Bettys and Blowup Barrys - a release from MadPea for the current round of ACCESS until December 8th - are strutting their stuff, checking each other out and there's an undercurrent of sexiness... Weird looks on their faces and far too much rubber skin on show... Still, I hope they all find happiness, it's just not the hangout place for me...

Only Books have the Answers!

Today has been a busy but lovely day... I got to see my mum for a few hours when her cruise docked in Amsterdam - she said my tour was much nicer than the one offered by the cruise operators - and then after a very hectic morning, I came home to relax... I had a shower, got into something comfortable and promptly took a nap. I'd been planning to read, but I only managed a few pages before I passed out... 

Nothing like curling up with a good book, I LOVE reading under a blanket with a cuppa... I've been reading so much this year, and I realised the other day when I didn't get a chance to read before bed that I had trouble falling asleep... 
Like I said though, being in my jammies, with a good book, a cup of tea or coffee and my darling pussy cats - like the Bat-titude and Arachno Cats from Aardvark at the current round of ACCESS - can make everything better. In this case, I'm sat with a voodoo doll friend of mine whilst I look through the Necronomicon as the mess of my desk wasn't revealling the information I needed it too... Not even my Pendulum Prediction Board - from MadPea, available until November 10th at Kustom9 - wasn't able to find the answers...

Chronos Aeterna and her Hexaclaws

 I'm sticking with the magic and heading into another fantasy realm today, one where the sands of time are bringing on the darkest of notions, luring in the spirits of death in preparation for next month's creepy events... 
The magical spirits cannot contain their excitment...The preparations are going smoothly... Magic is being gathered, prepared and protected... There are spooky sensations in the air...

In the Dark Arena temple of Chronos Aeterna - an outfit set by MoonAmore, at Engine Room - our little goddess of the hourglass sands consults the fates via the use of her Chronomancer's Astrolabe - from Quills & Curiosities - and prepares to spread more sand by cutting into the hourglasses with the Robin Daggers of time... The escaping of the hourglass sands is always a lure for the Hexclaw Felines - a gorgeously magical kitty release from Aardvark for Engine Room - these beasts are feasting on the magic that drifts in the air, a warning for the people that death is on it's way...

Apples in Autumn

September is technically the start of Autumn, and today it feels like the weather has finally gotten that memo. It's supposed to be cooling down, although the colours of nature are starting to heat up as green changes to orange and red... I love that the air is getting crisper, that the raindrops mix with the falling leaves... I am refusing to think about pumpkins for a few weeks, but I did decide to help out with another amazing Autumn activity... It's harvest time... 

I LOVE a crunchy apple, something red and juicy, or green and crisp, caramelled or dried or pricked straight from the tree...
I'll pick a few apples in the gardens of Second Life - like the backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis... I'll turn some to candy apples, some to scrumpy cider and maybe even use a few to make a pie... Now I'm getting hungry lol... 
It's also the perfect time to start dressing in the warm, snuggly knit wear of Autumn. A large Baggy Sweater, over some figure hugging leather pants - like the Wren Set by miss chelsea, available until September 30th at Anthem - accessorised with a sun hat - like the one that comes with the Lamb hair - and some larger than life Oversized Specs - the one's I've chosen to wear from the new French Touch event, and the designs of Boutique #187 - to keep off the cool, and the sun from my eyes... I love this time of the year, I CANNOT wait to enjoy all that comes with Autumn for the next few months...

The Flower Folk of Spring

March is a fairly important month, not only is it my birthday month, it's also the start of Spring officially and that means that this part of the world that I'm in life starts to start. Freshness, colours and warm sunshine become the most important things of the season... 
Second to Autumn, Spring is a time of year that I LOVE, I'm a girl that loves the dark and twisted but also the colourful pretties, and all the flowers that are springing to life make me super happy... 

Flower Fairies are just as happy as I am at this time of year, possibly more so, as it is they that are the ones that get to welcome in the flowers... Flowers of all kinds including favourites of mine like daffodils and lily of the valley, are making gardens look wonderful... 
The little Spring Flower Fairy in me is happy, sitting in the grass to talk to her magical little friends...

Preparation Glam Up...

It's the eve of New Year's Eve and the Netherlands has gone into crazy mode, fireworks going off everywhere and my poor ol' puppy is already on the edge of panic mode due to the noise. We're not doing anything to celebrate this year, not in RL and I'll probably be vegging out with a good movie and some snacks instead of going to party... Rudh on the other hand is already starting to get all glammed up...

It's a little early but there's no point in waiting around until the last moment... Starting with sorting out the mop that is her hair, stuffing it with curlers and pinning it all up out the way... 
She's polished her nails, done properly slowly and carefully so that she doesn't make the usual mistake of smudging the gorgeous gold nail design - a gorgeous set of SERIAL Claws that are not a new release but are available in the mainstore at Normandy - and I'll find some great tutorials on how to do make-up properly as I'm TERRIBLE at it... Now I've got the nails done, and the hair and make-up are in progress, I just need to find something fabulous to wear...

Tea and Blankets

It's not long now until Christmas and I'm stil finding it hard to get into the Christmas spirit. I've been trying to put decorations out in SL but RL I'm just no where near ready. I've got a tree, I've collected the decor and I'm just not in the right place to get myself Christmassing... I need to get through the next two days and then I plan on Christmassing my RL... For now I'm planning on doing nothing much, watching some TV under a blanket in a comfy pair of pyjamas with a cuppa tea... 

Tea is so important to me, when I was younger I never really drank it, but now that I'm older I love to get myself a cozy cuppa. One of my favourite people, a best friend of mine in both S and RL, sent me a HUGE bag of my favourite English tea brands. 
I love nothing more than getting home any time I have to go out in RL, and getting into a cosy pair of pyjamas - something like the Cady Onesie from miss chelsea at equal10 - and wrapping myself up in a soft cozy blanket - like the one from hive - so that I can bundle up warm...

The Magic of the Cards

 It was so quiet at work today that I left early. It was SO quiet that it was weirdly quiet, and yes we expect  quiet period at this time of year, but it was INSANE... Like a strange magic spell has been cast over everything, and since it's raining people are just away in hiding...
Rudh decided to get home and check the cards for their magic, letting the light sparkle from her to the cards, which could only be read after the spirits had shuffled them well... 

It's the simplest of magic, the kind that even the most novice of witches should be able to conjour up with ease.. Every witch has their own colour depending on the magic they practice and their personality, and Rudh's happens to be green as she's calm, friendly and down-to-earth... He boyfriend Frank, that she keeps as a headless Frank - thanks to a decor prop from Krescendo called Franky Faces at Satan Inc until November 1st - under a glass cloche when she's working her magic because he has a tendency to be a bit skeptical... Which is funny considering he's a head in a jar... 
Anyway, once her magic began to sparkle nothing else but the cards mattered, the Occult Cards - from Tardfish in a Necromancer design - in her hand started swirling through the air as they began to slowly give her the information that she required for the day ahead tomorrow...
