Sorry, but I'm Keeping the Ring!

It's almost the month of Love, well technically unlike Christmas or Halloween, Valentine's shouldn't get a whole month as it's halfway through and therefore we suffer less with it perhaps?! I shouldn't complain, I've had HellBone for the last 15 Valentine's but meh, it's such a boring holiday lol... 
All that trouble rejecting the (Non) Valentines that I get every year - it makes me laugh since I NEVER actually get one, even from the hubby - but it's such a chore LOL... I might as well get started early... 

Now I am no fool, I don't need all of these romantic gestures and gifts, BUT since the trouble was taken to choose and give me these things, it would be rude of me not to keep them and put them to good use...

The Gingerbread Slay

Honestly it's hard to believe that it's Christmas week already, even with the fact that it feels like we've been talking about Christmas for ages now, I'm still shocked that it's almost here... Is that weird?! I guess it's because I don't feel ANYWHERE near the Christmas Spirit because there have been so many things dragging my mind into darker places than I've been in a LONG LONG time... I'll talk more about that after the happiness of the festivities are over, but for now I'm going to throw the prettiness into the ring, shake it up and see what happens... The darkness seeped through just a little and took over the gumdrop candy cuteness... 

I am in the mood for a little chaos, a little mayhem and a little evil... I've decided that my version of the Sugar Plum Fairy would rule her little corner of Sugar Land with a somewhat deadly iron fist... Her home at the Gingerbread Manor - which is a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis, that I have actually butchered to use in the background of my picture, and have actually added the official Ad Poster to the bottom of the post... Summer Beach Work

I work in retail in RL, I'm sure you may have seen me say that once or twice... I'm currently watching a British TV series called "Death in Paradise" and I think that at the moment these things are coming together in my mind so that I ended up on a paradise beach selling fruits... It sounds like a perfect place to be right now... 

Death in Paradise is set in the Caribbean, filmed in Guadaloupe although the island in the stories is imaginary... 
Now if I was relaxed enough to be chilling on the beach, playing or perhaps just making noise on my Ukulele - a release from Junk Food, available until July 17th at Anthology - I don't think I'd be looking as comfortable as I am... Sitting around at my Seabreeze Fruit Shack - a release from Dust Bunny for this year's Summerfest event - I think I'm likely to be more than a little sunburnt!!!

My Own Personal Wonderland

Do you ever put an outfit on, and find yourself disappearing into a mindspace that leads you to a totally different world... I had planned to get creative, I was going to aim to get multiple pictures done today but once I put on the first outfit I wanted to blog, I was lost to my own crazy mixed-up dreamlike version of Wonderland... 

What would my version of Wonderland be like? How would Rudhie in Wonderland differ from the world created by Lewis Carroll that Alice got lost in... My Second Life is a world made up of weird and wonderful things... Rainbow sparkles lead to dark, deadly corners, and crazy moments of magic, but would Wonderland be any different or just MUCH MORE of the same?! 
I think there would definitely be a tea party of sorts, one with lots of cake and plenty of hot tea to be drunk from pretty tea cups on mismatched saucers. There would be bunches of Monstrous Elegance - which is represented by the Monster's Feast and the Beastly Visions sets from Nylon Outfitters at Collabor88 - and some of my own cute furry friends with the Chesire Cat being replaced by a HUGE Fluffy Unicorn - from Tardfish - and of course I'd look FABULOUS in my own version of Wonderland... The idea is sparkling through my mind, and I know what I'll be dreaming of tonight...

Wrapping Stations Are Go!

This time next week we will have passed Christmas and be heading into the new year... How scary is that to think that we are so close to 2025, and that Christmas will be here in the blink of an eye?! 
Today I had to get a few things done around the house, and there will be more cleaning to do tomorrow, but there was one thing that I simply HAD to get done before Wednesday... I needed to get my wrapping done, and this little Christmas elf needed a bit of help... I headed to the one place on Earth I knew they could get it done...

The Chains of a Demoness

Having to work so much and having so little time off is like a form of torture... Being an adult is a sucky feeling sometimes and I wish I could go back to when I was like 11 or 12 when life seemed simpler... 
Working all the time makes me feel stuck in a rut, like I'm trapped in a cage and have no hope of getting out of it. Sorry if that sounds depressing, and I guess in a way it is, but I needed to vent and isn't that kinda what my rambling space is for... Once again my mood has affected what I'm posting today, and it's definitely been improved by making something pretty... 

Demons were once little angels that have fallen into the darkness, and I'm definitely more of a demon than an angel... I am a good girl, but there are lots of little things that reveal the dark cracks in me... 
I like the dark little demonness inside often feel trapped, chained into the daily drudge of normal life. I'm in a job I love, if there weren't so many crazy people involved, I'm in a happy home where I feel I can be safe and relax, just a shame it's so far away from my family that I miss terribly... Things seem a bit difficult right now, but before long I'll be able to take some time out and spend some time in the UK, recharging my batteries... I need that to break free...

Skelly Chaos at the Spooky Spa

Sunday Night has always been a bath night in this house, and in the house since I was a little kid, because Monday morning was a school day and we had to be fresh and clean for school, I guess the habit has stuck with me all these years. I used to love taking long baths when I was a kid, but switched to long hot showers as I got older. I think that I started thinking more about soaking in the dirty water and decided to splish splash in the rain-like shower instead. 
This week though I am working on Sunday, and so I have to wait until Monday for my long showering pampering regime... In SL though, Rudh will be without me so she's booked herself into a little Witchy Spa for relaxation and peace... 

This spa is located within the old Royal Hall - a backdrop from FOXCITY - and the witchy sisters that run the place have set it up for pure luxury... They've turned huge old cauldrons into amazing Hexxed Hot Tubs - from Krescendo at FaMESHed - and decorated the private space with a lucious Ouija rug - also from Krescendo but at Kinky for just a couple more days - and a table with the set up needed to make the perfect cup of tea, including a set of Witchy Clutter - that's also from Krescendo at MadPea's Masquerade of Murder- and the coolest set of Crime Scene Tumblers - from Boutique #187 that you can hunt for at this year's SPOOKZILLA - as well as the most adorable of signs to show customers where they can get their fresh sheets, sorry I mean towels - a sign in a collection of hunt items from Junk Food for Spookzilla... 
They have promised me lots of peace and quiet, restful time to myself with a good book. Yet when I was taking a selfie to post on Facebook, I noticed that I wasn't alone... There were some adorable little Skeleton Animals - from Yokai - causing chaos, one reading through my book and two more splashing about in the hot tub... Looks like the peace and quiet won't be so peaceful...

Somewhere to Relax...

It's Sunday, and although I wanted so much to have it as a lazy Sunday that wasn't going to happen... I get home from a busy day feeling terrible for having jumped a queue that I shouldn't have and when I got home all I wanted to do was take a nap... THEN when I got to sit before my computer and before I was able to do anything in Second Life my PC decided to have a shit on me... Luckily I'd found a way to get myself a little relaxation of a different kind... 

There is some amazing relaxation to be had in many different ways, but there has to be something said about the naughty kind of relaxation, that allows the tension of the muscles that suddenly relaxes at the point of ecstacy... This kind of relaxation can be done in pairs, in groups or even on your own, but no matter what happens it's a definitely happy release andthe relaxation of it is PERFECT!!!
I've made sure I have a special safe place to play... It's decorated with some pinkish pretty, and opened my Sexy Safe - a release from Krescendo at FaMESHedX - that's full of all of my favourite toys. I also got dressed up in a gorgeous Calliope Dress - from Violent Seduction - with some sexy accessories and a very, very special toy that can ONLY be used by someone very special... Falling into a Dream

I've had a LOVELY lazy day... I don't get them very often at the moment considering how my work schedule has been and although the shop has been calming down, I don't think that I will be getting many more relaxing days for a little while yet... So whilst I've been relaxing, lazing and generally letting my mind wander, I'm lost to a perfect daydream... Wasting the day, spending it dreaming...

Dreams are such strange things... Some nights I can have a really deep sleep and dream of nothing, others I am so restless that the dreams are kinda vivid and make me wake up wondering what the heck I've done to cause the strangeness... There are very few days that I ever have the kind of dreams I want to have again and again, although those little fantasies are the ones I find myself falling asleep to... I am SO exhausted at the moment I tend to have no trouble falling asleep... 
As I'm falling asleep it feels a little like I'm falling down into a rabbit hole, just like Alice did into Wonderland... As I fall, the magic sparkles around me and so many weird, wonderful and pretty things float on by... Some adorable new friends, some amazing new furniture and the silliest new sets of eyes to watch my fall... I just hope there is something soft to land on and that it doesnt turn into one of those nasty dreams with a feeling of a surprise fall... Ugh how I hate those!!!!

What do we do in the Shadows? We Party!

March 19th is my Birthday!!! Today I am celebrating my birthday and today has been a happy, warm and relaxing kind of day. I've had a lovely day and cannot believe how lucky I have been. 
I had a visit from the family... It's not very often that I get to see my parents in RL and I cannot ever get enough of talking to my mum face to face in RL... There's never a bad time to see them, at least there has never been anything so bad that it ruins a visit... 
While I've been celebrating, Rudh has been celebrating too... She's been hanging out with her family, at least the family that I would want her to have... 

They are the oddest kind of family, a group of people thrown together in bizarre circumstances, but I know that Rudh could fit in well with the cast of 'What we do in the shadows'... She isn't afraid of the shadows, and would make a brilliant addition to the staff of the Vampire Nightclub! 
When she decided to throw a little birthday party for herself, Rudh knew she had to invite her Vampiric Family - which happen to actually be two sets of dolls made for Garbaggio for a previous event, that are now available in the mainstore - with decorations in the castle of some amazing Helium Balloons - from Junk Food - and a Birthday Cake... Using Christmas Gifts to Seduce Me

Around this time of year, everyone starts to send out their pretty, couply Christmas Cards with well wishes for the holidays and into the new year. I have been planning on getting somethign cute and couply done with HellBone, but then there are so many pretty, but rather risque poses out there that he'd never be happy posing in... I needed to find help, someone I know lives on the risque side of life, someone I feel safe and comfortable to bare all and lower my inhibitions with, and someone that means a lot to me since I was thinking of one of those cutesy Christmas card pictures in the darkest corners of my mind... 

The obvious choice had to be Deangelo, a man who has been a rock for me since we met over 15 years ago. Our relationship has changed over the years, but no matter how far away from each other we drifted, we have always been watching out for each other. He's protective of me, and I of him. He is someone that knows the real me, the truth behind my sparkly facade and he's supported me on so many occasions that I have lost count so many times over... 
I asked him to celebrate Christmas a little early with me this year, I made sure I was wrapped up in ribbons so that he would enjoy the unwrapping of the gifts as I asked him to Seduce Me - thanks to a pose from Secret Poses. Mummy's Lil' Trick or Treaters

We're getting closer and closer to the day that the kids are allowed to wander the streets begging for candy. It's not something that we really do here in the Netherlands, although Halloween is slowly becoming more and more popular, but I can't help but get into the Halloween spirit and feel lucky that I'm able to do more Halloweenie stuff in SL... 
Though for my 31 days of Halloween look today I've been lumbered with a rather arduous task of taking the streets kids out Trick or Treating... I'm a Mummy that's been made to be a mummy to all of the little monsters... 

I'm going to wander along the Trick-n-Treat Lane - a backdrop from Synnergy, that's now become Synnergy.Tavis - with an army of monstrous kids of different ages and sizes, wearing all manner of different costumes; some scary others not, and we are going to have a great time collecting candy... Even the family pets got a chance to come out for a little Trick or Treating... As their "Mummy" minder though I've laid down the rule that I get at least one treat from each of the kids tonight... I wonder what goodies I'll be able to feed my Cauldron Creature - from Evil Baby - when I steal from their Pumpkin Pails - from Junk Food.

April Fool's with Friends

April Fools Day... April 1st, has become a day when pranks are played on the unsuspecting... Sometimes these are fun, silly little jokes, but others have been known to cause so much pain and upset - you hear about people doing things like faking pregnancies, which is just low and a horrendous thing to do - and it causes so much distrust. I really don't mind the harmless pranks and love things that are a little silly though, hence why today, I'm going to be a little silly...

I invited my brand new friends over for a little dinner... My new Animal Lamp - a new release from Boutique #187 at Harajuku Box - friends are coming to try a special dish. I found it in a cook book that was left in a box by the trash, the recipes were perfect for today's occasion, I found this awesome recipe for Spaghetti Weenie Jello - I fell in love with this release from Junk Food, I dunno why but it's brilliant and super silly! I got dressed for a party - a cute Tie Dye Tank from Neverwish, and a fancy disguise from Cute Cvlt - and headed out to wait for my new friends who arrived on flying flowers and leaves!! 
The flowers and leaves - from Ananas in the "Nature's Ride" collection - are actually made for people to ride on, they are big enough for a big butt like mine and they are fun to fly through the flowers this spring...

Sunday Night = Bath Night!

Sunday Nights were always traditionally a Bath Night in my family home when I was a kid... Not that I didn't bath during the rest of the week but mum ALWAYS made a point of we have to bath on Sunday so we were clean for school the next day... It's been a tradition I've stuck to even now that I'm a grown-up and living on my own... 
HellBone and I just had a gorgeous new bathroom installed... It's pretty in daylight but in the dark... Well... It shines... 

Mostly everything in our new bathroom - and of course the backdrop skybox I used is not really my bathroom it's a gorgeous Moon Glow Skybox from Neverwish - apart from the odd little decoration is from the Krescendo Witchy Washy Gacha Collection... That soft neon, those stars that are projected onto the dark surfaces and all the cute little decorations!! My Chubby Meow seemed to like his new resting spot - which was from BackBone - and now all that's left to do is sink into the bubbles and relax before work next week!!

What kind of Spell do you seek?

"I put a spell on you, and now you're MINE"... Such a brilliant song, originally by Screamin' Jay Hawkins, but with epic covers including the awesome Bette Midler in the even more awesome Hocus Pocus movie. It's one of those sentiments that still hold true, especially at this time of year with that pesky little angel baby getting ready to show the world his ass... 
This year though the anti-valentine that I so love to be, is ready to remedy any cupid-like mishaps... He may work magic, but I've got a spell or two of my own... 

For the right price any of cupid's spells can be overturned... I got voodoo, potions, and tarot at my disposal, with a book of shadows close to hand and the perfect dose of thirst quenching tears to wash it all down with... 
As this year's unofficial Anti-Valentine - heck I try to do it every year but this year I'm starting a little early maybe LOL - I'm decked out in the height of cool fashion... Everything from my Stomper Boots - from Psycho Barbie - perfect for kicking the little "angel's" tuschy, to the spare pair of killer Piper Heels to match my stockings and garter - from 1313 Mockingbird Lane at the current round of The Epiphany - are signs of my new self-given position... 
I will even smile as I wave you out the door... Look at my face, how can you resist the anti-valentine this year?!

Magic of the Hallows Horror Carnivale

 I LOVE this time of year... The Halloween season lets everyone dress in all kinds of weird and wonderfuls, and if you know me at all then you will know that any excuse to dress up, but there are so many different options I'm trying to get through 31 costumes for the 31 days of Halloween!! 
Today I've decided to cast a few little spells, whip up a little magic something special for a horror carnival... 

I'm having a magical moment now that the Gacha Guild's Hallows Horror Carnival has opened and the magical carni goodies within... Whipping up the magic into a frenzy... Stuffin' to get in!

Being at home is great, it's nice to be able to relax but I have to admit that I'm actually really missing being able to go out. I've even been having dreams about going out to clubs - I NEVER even did that before the quarantine btw - but last night I had such a vivid dream about a club and not being allowed in because I wasn't well endowed enough... It was still buzzing around in my brain when I woke up, and then while playing with my inventory - trying to get set up for the day - I was reminded of that dark dingy club...

WELL, since my boobies won't be getting any bigger, there's one thing for it... Who knew a Bubble could break a Fort?!

It's not fair... OK I KNOW I shouldn't complain, there are people in a lot worse situations right now, but I am actually jealous that HellBone got to go to work today. I want to go to work, and I know that being at home is the best for everyone right now, but I've been here almost 2 weeks and I'm starting to get a little cabin fever! Still someone must stay home and protect our non-hoard, we never hoarded anything in RL - the usual shopping was enough for us - and now it seems that the supermarkets have most things back in stock again. In SL though it was different, I felt a strong need to hoard toilet roll...

Even if I don't need it now, it's only 7 months until Halloween, and I have plans that involve LOTS of TP! Lots and Lots of TP!!! In fact if you've been hoarding it and have some to spare by Halloween, send it my way!! I'll trade for a can of Anti Corona Spray - from vaak - or some fresh orange juice - from vespertine. I have so much toilet paper that I even tried building things with it... The fort I built fell down when I tried to climb inside whilst wearing the Personal Bubbles - from Bad Unicorn - but it collapsed, so I had to settle for a throne of toilet paper - thanks to BackBone hehe... 
I feel like such a Bathroom Godfather sat here like this hehe...

Happy Birthday To ME!

Today is my 34th Birthday, and I know it sounds silly but it's one of the weirdest Birthday's I've ever had. Normally I'd have friends and family around - my parents had planned a visit to see me in the Holland - but that cannot happen due to the Corona Virus, so everything feels so quiet, calm and, if I'm honest, a little surreal! It's been lovely in a weird way, HellBone made me a cake and spoilt me with gifts but I've just been reading and relaxing which would normally be a novelty, although it's becoming a bit of a normal right now LOL... Looks like I will be celebrating more in SL, maybe?! 

Even in SL though, it seems a little quiet, all my Gators are away and instead of seeing them more, I'm seeing them less LOL... 
So it's a Birthday Party for one! More cake for me! Wonder if I could freeze it so it's available after the virus has passed and everyone can be together in the same place...
