Solar Relics and Forbidden Rituals

Some day soon I'll be able to relax but today at work was horrible, I think that I need a miracle... I don't want to be at work, I don't want to be living at this farm right now, and I want to be about a million miles away from here.. Is that weird? Probably but I want to let myself get lost... I'm going to find a little monsterous magic... 

In the forgotten temple, there are monsters that thrive amongst the salvaged remains... This monster is disturbing to look at... She's a Remnant - thanks to the chest tattoo from Nefekalum at the Salvage Station - and her headdress that covers her teeth behind a Chthonic Cultist Mask - from Static - and she's learning more and more each day using her Solar Relic - from floro, also at Salvage Station - and a myriad of Forbidden Rituals...

Time to Rehydrate

I had a day off and decided to spend the day with lots of music and dancing and it made getting my chores done much, much, much more interesting... I'm on a happy cloud nine where music is concerned at the moment... Next month I get to go back to the UK to see Take That - as well as my parents and sister - and yesterday I booked tickets for HellBone's Birthday to see Five Finger Death Punch on their anniversary tour in Europe next year... I know that they are total opposites musically but I LOVE both... I'm a happy girl now... 

So today, I've taken myself out for a little more dancing, the club "Night by Cyber" - a backdrop from Vile - I got dressed up in the most Divine Set - from Psycho Barbie - the comes with a gorgeous spiked corset, dress, garters and stockings. The metal spikes reflect the light and the shiny fabric will catch the eye... 
As much as dancing is fun, I might have to take a few minutes for some fresh air and a chance to sneakily rehydrate - from my Midnight Flask by Boutique #187 at the current round of Dubai - before I head back in to dance some more... I'm not as young as I used to be, this is a lot harder than it looks...

For The Matrix

The world we are living in right now seems like it's falling apart... I know that we all have our own problems in life but has anyone tried to turn off the world simulation that the minds behind the matrix are currently running and restart it again, because apparently somewhere the code isn't up to scratch?! Someone unplug themselves from the simulator please and check to see what is going on back there?

I know that the Engine Room is a steampunkish magical event and that steampunk outwardly does not look like it could hande something as futuristic as the control of the simulation that runs our daily lives, but you know what they say... Never judge a book by it's cover... Behind the hidden doors of the Engine Room runs some extremely powerful, hidden magic... Magic that could ensure the world runs as it should. I'm sure the mainframe of the Matrix is back there. I NEED to break through and find out if it can be restarted so we can get some peace?!

Sorry, but I'm Keeping the Ring!

It's almost the month of Love, well technically unlike Christmas or Halloween, Valentine's shouldn't get a whole month as it's halfway through and therefore we suffer less with it perhaps?! I shouldn't complain, I've had HellBone for the last 15 Valentine's but meh, it's such a boring holiday lol... 
All that trouble rejecting the (Non) Valentines that I get every year - it makes me laugh since I NEVER actually get one, even from the hubby - but it's such a chore LOL... I might as well get started early... 

Now I am no fool, I don't need all of these romantic gestures and gifts, BUT since the trouble was taken to choose and give me these things, it would be rude of me not to keep them and put them to good use... 
I'll write them a nice letter back and may even take pictures of me posing with some of the pretty gifts like this fabulous diamond ring that was sent as "The Promise" - which is actually a release from Boutique #187 for DUBAI until February 15th, and there are SO MANY different options for what you want the card to say... Such a fun idea for this time of year don'tcha think? - and it's a promise I'm going to have to make him break with a well written note of thanks...

Coffee & Apple Pie

A day off and it's been a busy one... One of our big tasks when it comes to the upheaval of next year is passed, and we now have the funds ready from the bank that means we ae ready to go.. ISH!! There is a lot to do before then... However, I've done my chores, we signed some paperwork and even manage to go to a large expat store in Amsterdam so that I could get myself some delicious English Christmas goodies... It has been a damn good day really... 

First time in a while that I feel I've had such a good day, I've accomplished things even though I was half asleep as HellBone drove us around in the car. I woke up too early but I managed to get through all my tasks and even had time to stop off with the ol' man for a slice of fresh apple pie - from Simply Shelby - and a coffee, and then even treated myself to a second coffee that came in the adorable Bear Coffee Cup - from Junk Food - and it was DELICIOUS... It was good to have a good day today...

Welcome to the Dark Hotel

The darkness is still lingering and I am not ready to kick it out just yet... I mean there will be lots of pretty Autumnness coming I'm sure, because I NEED to let that out before the mania that is Christmas will start... 
I LOVE the darkness, it's helping me feel better about myself and the situations that I am dealing with at the moment and since everything is getting a little too crazy I might take myself away for a while and check myself into somewhere for a rest... 

The Dark Hotel - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - is the perfect place to rest and decompress after the fun of Halloween... I've checked in and left my bags ready to be collected by the porter, and while waiting I've met some of the most wonderful locals and their pets - which happen to come with the Wini Dress from Mug. Little Distractions...

Since Mum and Dad left yesterday, I've been feeling sad. I don't know if it's anything worse than I normally feel when they or I leave, but for some reason it DOES feel strange them not being around today... I've had time to relax a little but still not enough to make me feel fully relaxed... I am lucky that I'm off tomorrow, and I plan to get some household chores done before I'm back at work on Tuesday... 
Why am I rambling on about this now, I guess it's just a warning for the totally random picture today. I didn't know what I was doing, and I actually love the way things worked out, but still not sure where this came from lol... 

I am feeling a little off I'm sorry, I WILL be back on it very soon as soon as I've had some good time to rest up and let my mind reset... Bubbles are Little Balls of Magic!

Honestly, sometimes the most random posts seem to be the ones that I LOVE best and maybe it's not a truth but they also seem to be the ones that are least popular with other people... Maybe I'm imagining it... 
I wanted something bright, colourful and something that made me smile... What could possibly have all of those things? BUBBLES seemed to be the answer... 

I felt in a silly fairy kinda mood and bubbles have always felt a little magic to me... So I'm going to be the magical kind that form stars as they float around the bathroom she's playing in... 
She's neon, rainbows and sparkles as her bubbles catch the light... How can anyone not like bubbles?

Challenges of being a Shopaholic!

I am on a roll at the moment with pulling together outfits for everyday, and more than likely not blog, that I would live in... I'm not the kind of person that will buy Fat Packs when I'm out shopping, normally it's one colour that I will pull into an outfit and then wear that outfit for a couple of weeks before I hide it away in my inventory and forget it's there... I'm terrible like that... 
When I put myself into an outfit that I fall in love with, I stop myself from feeling a strong need to pose and show it off... I guess today though, that I'm going to be doing something as a Look-of-the-Day... 

I needed to find somewhere chic, somewhere up-market because this pretty outfit was both of those things... Chic, up-market, and more than a little glamourous with a HUGE hint Rudhish flair... 
I had found both these amazing SAIKO Scuzz pants and boots combo, which are both smart, sexy and have some amazing elements that suit so many different styles, AND this gorgeous Nocturne Blouse, from NOIR, which is vintage chic and very cute. Normally, I'd never have put these two things together, but while I was just trying them on it seemed like a lightning bulb moment... I fell in love with this combo, and once all of the accessories were added like this amazingly, adorable clutch purse - from Aardvark at Dubai until March 15th - 'Let's be clear' thiis is definitely one of my favourite looks this year! 
Now to take this outfit out and show it off... I'm heading out to Rodeo Drive - a backdrop from VERSOV - to become a little 'shopaholic in style'...

Going My Way? Take Me Home Please!

Work can be quite stressful, but sometimes things can be kinda fun too... Days like today have been more than a little exhausting but the best part of the day is when the store is finally closed and I'm able to head home. I hear my pyjamas calling, there is a cup of tea with my name on it, and I'm desperate to find both... I've tidied and locked up, I've got all my things and I'm heading to the Bus Station for a ride out of town, but that means a quick little trip on a cute little tram... 

"Are you going my way?" a tram heading across town towards the bus station, and Rudh looks so well put together that it makes the real me look like a scruffy muppet.

There's a Good Dog!

Time to get my relax on. It's Saturday Night and I've had a busy day at work in RL, but I want to just kick back and relax, sharing a picture of something. It's been a few days since I had a chance to blog, I don't know why but my Mojo has been lacking somewhat and I need to get back on the band wagon... SO today I'm going to share something both cute and kinky...  

It's both adorable and kinkiness that was started by Fapple, and saw me deciding it was time for a game of puppy... It's not something that I'm normally into, but this adorable little Puppy Love Dog House - from Fapple - made me feel a need... I added a few little accessories, things to get me in the mood like a HopScotch Animal Plug tail, some good Collars and Cuffs and even a Whipped Magazine with a Doggy tale to tell, then dressed in a cute but casual outfit - made by MuggleBorn called Zoes Lounge Wear - I slipped on an abrasive Obedient Puppy Head Harness and sat like a good girl, waiting!

Angel of Darkness

As you may have heard, yesterday was my 12th rezday... I've been through 12 long years of fun and laughter, crazy silliness and drama, and even though some of it has hurt I've got to say I wouldn't change any of it... Even on a day that was supposed to be a little special to me, there was drama, it's something you kinda come to expect when you're in SL, there was no pomp, no ceremony, and I didn't get to be queen of the day, but after looking back, I don't really mind... I DO however want to have a little rant to start my 12th year with a bang, so if you're not interested in reading, just look at the pretty picture of the Angel of Darkness, and then move on LOL... 

If you're going to carry on reading, you have been warned... 
Once again I'm on the subject of people that hide behind their avatar and think that they can get away with the most stupid actions just because SL is not real! It's something that, although I've been here as long as I have, still somehow seems to surprise me. This time it came from a place that feels more like a stab with a knife than one I've had in a long time... 
I have come to the realisation that I'm far too trusting of people in SL at times, there are so many people who welcome you into their arms and as soon as they are bored they have no issues in casting you aside. It's even worse when you find out that what you've been told unravels like a pack of lies, faster than a yo-yo uncurls. 
If that wasn't enough you're left feeling like the world's biggest fool for supporting that person so much. You spend weeks, telling everyone "no no, he's not malicious like that, he's just an idiot" yet you come to the realisation you've just been duped and once they have what they want, they laugh at you. 
From now on, I'm sticking to the philosophy of be careful who you trust, be careful who you let into your world and remember that what you tell someone when you're good friends may come back to bite you on the ass when you're not. 
To the guy that caused this - I'm not sure you're reading anyway but on the off chance - I welcomed you into my world, I accepted you as a big brother, and now because you decide to get with a woman who hurt the family you once loved you made your new bed... You've not only hurt me, but people you cared about, you've made innocent people cry with your desperation for what you want, and I truly hope you're happy, because you've left a nasty scar... 
To end on a note that's not all drama, I'm just gonna share a song that makes me happy... It's the reason this post is called what it is, and it's a song I've not heard in a while, but since taking this picture I can't stop singing... HolyHell's Angel of Darkness...

While the cute girl was minding her own business and playing some video games at the arcade, she felt something and turned around with a look of shock on her face... "Did you just pinch my butt?"

This has to be one of my favourite outfits in recent months. I don't know why, it's simple and casual but there's just something about it that's SO CUTE!
