I'm having one of those weeks at the moment, depression and anxiety seems to be getting the better of me. I'm sorry to put that out there but it's not something I'm hiding anymore, please bear with me and if you see me online please feel free to send me hugs. Hugs always seem to help, me at least!
Tonight though, I'm being dragged out of my normal routine to go to a concert with my hubby. It's a birthday present for him, we're going to see the band Ghost. A band of nameless ghouls lead by a Pope like figure in Papa Emeritus. So tonight the inner demon in me will be released, she's finally waking up...
Demons are just as bad at waking up as humans it seems... She gets up and wanders around her room looking a little pissed but still clinging to her teddy bear. Not ashamed to admit I still have a teddy bear at all by the way!
She needs to get her scars tended to, the healing process a little slower as she's not yet awake, but it looks like she had some fun while out in her jammies last night. Her nightgown is one from DAMI - it comes complete with the cute bear and in a range of colours, some with and some without blood.
The possession is strong with this girl, I just hope that Papa Emeritus can help with all those hail mary's she's gonna need to say!

Pumpkins!! This time of year it's all about the pumpkins!
Tirck or Treat Lane would be lacking if there weren't a few of them, but there's pumpkins everywhere in all different shapes and sizes! One of the best things about getting a pumpkin at this time of year, is being able to create magic and bring them to life...
At midnight it's the witching hour and it's time to bring the pumpkins to life... Some are very evil in nature and some can be cute and cheeky, but whatever happens, it's time for a little magic to make these pumpkins glow! Even my pumpkin baby, and cute little pet rat are excited to watch this pumpkin start to smile... I'll just light a candle - thanks to a pose from -Extra-, which is actually a couple pose that has the chance for another avatar to be facing you and holding the candle too - and bring him to life!
The -Extra- Pose, along with the awesome lit Jack O Lanterns - from LiViD - are available at the still on going Trick or Treat Lane. Unlike the run up to Halloween, I find myself having a bit of a Christmas overkill at the moment. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Christmas, but it's every where and it's coming VERY VERY fast, and I guess well I'm much more of a Halloween person than a Christmas one... So I find myself needing to stop thinking about Christmas for a while, so that I can focus on other things...
Today is one of those days, the Gators MC are setting up for their Winter Christmas formal this weekend, so everything there is Christmas all the time, but right now I NEED to do something weird and kookie for my own mental health lol...
I bought a pair of shoes, something in the style that I'd never normally even look at, and in a colour I down own a lot of shoes in, and my first thought was "why did I do that?" Then I looked at them a little more closely, an d soon the outfit just fell into place. It was nothing new besides the NX-Nardcotix shoes, just a cute dress from LiViD with some polka dot tights from The Secret Store and a hat - and hairstyle - from Truth.
It was however the location at Mystical Fae Forest in combination with this Fame Monster Pose - from {NANTRA} - that brought this, what could be a called a Look-of-the-Day to life!

At the moment we are still working towards setting up for the Gators MC Halloween Event... The biggest event on the Gators MC Calendar. For the last two years we've created a Halloween Maze and this year we've done it again!!! It's not very PG, so if you aren't squeamish, don't mind a little bit pornographic and are able to handle poo then you won't want to miss what my family have created! Just watch this space and I will let you know more as we open!!

The dress I've chosen to share today is also very apt for the day of the week... This is the Thursday dress from the LiViD Coven Uniform Collection. It feels like a Saturday right now, but it is in fact Thursday LOL... This is party of a set, 7 different outfits that you can win in a gacha machine, but I got lucky and won the Thursday dress second go... I pulled on a pair of awesome BAX Boots, and then finished the look with the short Arden Hairstyle from Truth.
I am so excited about the maze opening and am so excited about this outfit... Which is more exciting?

Halloween is coming and I am super excited that it's almost that time again! There will be a huge event at the Gator Sim once again and everyone is getting ready, but I can sense the danger in the trees and am watching from afar... Armed and dangerous, never mess with Rudh in Heels!!!
Or one that is armed with a B*tch Maker weapon... This Mediveal looking machine gun is a really fab accessory, it's not scripted to shoot but it looks very intimidating - especially when you can see it's name! Nefarious.Inventions is a store stashed full of awesome accessories, just like this weapon... I want SO much of it hehe... Anyone who ever wants to spoil me... GO HERE PLEASE lol...
The dress I have on is AMAZING too... I saw these dresses from the back in a publicity photo posted by Giselle Aristocarnas of LiViD on her Flickr feed, and HAD TO TRY ONE ON... The front of the Salem Night Attire Dress is pretty cute, very intricately detailed and textured with various fabrics, yet it was the back that made me NEED this dress...

Who'd have thought it?! For what may be possibly my first of two Horror Haute based posts today, I am taking a trip to the beach to my friend- Mrs Dracula's beach house! She doesn't tend to use this place much during the daylight hours, so when she offered and told me to make use of everything including all her clothing in the wardrobe I jumped at the chance!
Being a vampire at the beach has it's perks I guess, you never have to fight to get the perfect spot and that moon glow must be pretty good for keepng a pale shimmering complexion, but when you're using a vampires things during a daytime trip to the beach, bare in mind that a Black Parasol will block out all of the light LOL...
The beach I am visiting today is one called Amavatar Paradise, and if you're a photographer this place is great because you can rez props and the like here - just a little tip for those of you that are interested - I needed to find somewhere in which I could rez some of the awesome collection that came from Livid for this month's Horror Haute!
In fact with the exception of my skin and hair - which was a past Arcade release from Truth, everything you see me wearing as well as the bag and furniture comes from Livid for the Simply the Best Horror Haute event. Yes, you see that right, you not only get the furniture and the bag, you also get the swimsuit, shoes and hat!!! It's such a bargain!

OK OK I am running just a little late... RL snuck up on me and I almost ran out of time to play with the awesomeness that is HORROR HAUTE APRIL... This is one of those event rounds that I really did not want to miss, the Dark Fae were coming and now they are here causing all kinds of chaos... I almost missed it... They are still casting their magic...
The Fenodyree Fae is a set from Stargazer Creations, that includes 4 different skins as well as all of the other accoutrements that make the perfect fae look... Of course me being me, I had to make a look out of random bits and pieces hehe... So with the skin, leaves and wings from the Stargazer Creations, I wore a dress from Livid called Queen Mab - this dress comes with a crown, sleeves and wings which are not worn here but are likely to make an appearance at a later date and a sparkle attachment which I DID wear hehe - I chose a collar from Chop Shop and a necklace from 7mad;Ravens - that isn't a Horror Haute Item but is in fact a Wayward Hunt Prize.
To finish off the look I wanted a little more fantasy style so I poked my finger in my eye to add some Dark Fae eyes from SongBird and glued on some Dark Fae Horns from BLD... The look was complete!
Only problem was my adorable little sister had left one of her ImmateriA Unseelie Court Headbands out for me to wear too... I love them, they are cute but not what this dark evil little fae wants to wear right now... Anyone want to borrow them?!

There are a few things that I am sure my blog could hint at about me - and I'm sure if you've ever read much of my ramblings, it isn't hard to guess either - things like I love to be a living Dead Dolly, I do have a bit of a penchant for crazy colours at times and I LOVE shopping!
Now from time to time I will dedicate a post to certain events and the items that you can get your hands on at them, but the one that I want to talk about today is one of those events that either seems to be a hit or a miss with me. Some people get excited by every round, but I am - some might say luckily - only affected once every few months LOL... I'm talking about Collabor88! This month, the theme was one that had me reaching for my wallet and if my bank account could talk it would be saying something akin to "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
PUNK ROCK!!! I am most definitely a rock chick at heart, I have an eclectic music taste and can - and frequently do - listen to lots of different things, but if I was forced to put a label on my taste I'd say it's predominantly rock based and leave it at that...
Though the goodies that you can get your hands on at Collabor88 this month are really, really amazeballs... I spent a fifth-tune - lots more than a fortune - collecting some of the Punk Rock based items and decorating my house with them that I couldn't resist taking a few minutes to talk about them too hehe...
The Chaise is one of two that comes with or without the punk additions from Trompe Loeil - I say two but there are actually four versions as each different design comes in Adult or PG!! These are very customisable, textures can be easily changed via a menu system and that includes with or without patterns too! I also had to have, but had a hard time choosing the colour of, the amazing Punk Rock Neon Sign from floorplan...
The one remaining photo prop that I want to share here, without getting into the realm of my outfit just yet is the adorable Yummy Bear from SilentSparrow - this particular colour was a recent FLF release but there are lots of colours to choose from and look how perfectly he matches the chaise!!!
Let's leave the furniture behind for a minute and discuss my outfit, because that had me almost as excited as the new decor!
THIS HAIR!!! OH MY GAH!! I love the hair, it's a new Exile release called Flying Over the Dateline and I bought it in both the natural pack and this awesome Fantasy colour pack... It's Punk Rock, what did you expect?! I teamed that with some very punk rock style green eyeliner, a new store release for SongBird by the way, and then it was time to go to town on accessories hehe... I had such a simple outfit that I needed the right jewellery!!!
I wore three different length necklaces to build up my punk rocker look... The first being a choker from Kibitz - it's a We <3 RP release but so worth going to get! - I am a bit of a sucker for their collars. They are always so well textured and so very pretty!!! This one is a prime example of that. The Psycho Tagged Necklace was something I stumbled upon at 7mad;Ravens booth for the Rock Attitude Fashion Fair - I'm not sure if that's still on or not by the way - but it took me a little while to work out which slogan I wanted... Although as a little hint, if you're a part of the 7mad;Ravens group, you can get a Beauty & Beast version as a little giftie!
Finally though, for a little elegance, I added the super pretty string of pearls from Schadenfreude... The Pearl Mori Row Necklace looks just like an adorable pearl necklace, but these are not for the faint of heart... The tiny little skulls bring just a touch of that rocker style to an elegant necklace!

Sometimes the things I put on put me in a creative mood, I'm often saying so, but it's not normally the props that I use which create the ideas in my head. Normally I have a look and wonder how in the heck I will photograph it, but this time I had a pose all lined up and nothing to wear...
That's where Horror Haute came into play... As I said before, the theme of Horror Haute - which has been extended this month due to the Holiday Season until January 4th - is Zombie Apocalyptic Christmas... Now one store in particular really caught my attention... As a Living Dead Dolly a lot of the time, I always love playing dress up whilst being my dead self... This time I got to play a Zombie Prom Queen... YAY!!!
Let's start with the prop that caused me the problems though shall we... This prop is available in a gacha machine from Image Essentials, and although you can grab it now at the Depraved Nation FROST Event, I believe that comes down pretty soon! These snow globes - or should that be Handy Globes - tell it like it is, this one bearing the statement "Santa Got Me This" but the variety of Christmas messages will be useful year after year!
The outfit that I played dress up in however, is a Horror Haute release from the store Livid. The Zombie Prom Queen outfit comes with not just a dress and sash, but also a tiara and corsage, perfect for any prom queen. The blood is just a minor mishap that's all! I teased my hair into some adorable curls from Magika, and the look was set, all I had to do was get rid of all of the competition and I was crowned Prom Queen...
A perfect way to end the year!!! Happy New Year Everyone!

Dia De Los Muertos is all about the remembrance of the dead...Not the stoic, silence of which we remember the dead in the UK, but the flamboyant and festive feeling that you find in Mexico.
When I'm thinking about people from my past, I often find songs associated with them and memories that are associated with these songs are a form of my personal remembrance - such as my uncle and the Prodigy song "Firestarter" LOL... Sometimes all it takes is one last dance and the memories of them come flooding back...
I took myself over to the abandoned - at the time of day I went anyway - ball room at Basilique. The outfit I had pulled together required an abandoned ballroom feeling, and of all of the places I went to, this one was closest to the style I wanted to find...
Yet it was the outfit that had me feeling the need to dance... My first and last as a sugar doll...
The dress and tiara are releases from this month's - latest round - of Horror Haute, available from ImmateriA the dress is simply gorgeous... It makes you want to dance, and it comes with the prettiest headband tiara that perfectly compliments the tango feeling!
I will admit that I did a little mix and match of Horror Haute goodies though with this look... The dress and tiara may well be from ImmateriA, but the awesome full body tattoo of the skeleton is in fact from the Livid "Lady Death Dress", along with the flowers...
Now I wanted to mention something here, and I hope it doesn't upset anyone in having done so... I LOVE the full body tattoo, but I have one major issue with it... It doesn't have any appliers, of any kind, so me being addicted to my mesh hands and feet I felt a bit naked taking them off and going old school for even a little while. Not that this is a problem, the textures are great enough to not let you worry, and it won't put me off wearing it again, but if you are one of those people who cannot live without your mesh everything then be warned!
I'm sorry to the people that like to see everything in one outfit worn together,,, I have this really weird habit of mixing and matching, and it makes me feel REALLY awesome to find things like this that work together so well... I've been dancing around in this for a few days...
One more thing to admit to you, dancing the tango to any prodigy song is FREAKING HARD Lol...
