December 22nd... Nearly Christmas... Why can't I get into the mood?!
I'm doing a damn good impression of a n Ice Queen at the moment, not feeling very festive much more grinchy and definitely cold about the whole thing... I think I'd give the Narnian Snow Queen a run for her money if we had to compete right now LOL... Still I will persevere and try to find the spirit, hopefully it will hit me like a truck in the next few days or something?!
For now though I'm going to let Rudh live as my Narnian Snow Queen for a bit... The picture that I took is one of my favourite pictures lately and it still makes me surprised to realise that I actually took it LOL...
It came out SO WELL... Please excuse me whilst I pat myself on the back just a little! I love everything, the lighting, the outfit, the colours... EEEH I'm a happy girl about something at least - even if it's not Christmas.
Rudh was able to have her Ice Queen moment at the gorgeous location of Nouvelles Aventures,which is such a pretty place that leads you on a walk through the snowy forest. She wore a Lethal Stalagmite Crown - from PSYCHO.Byts - and Snowflake Rings - from (Yummy) - to mark her reign as a Snow Queen. The snow dusts her face - thanks to Izzie's - and rests on her nose with her amazing new glasses - from Suicidal Unborn. One last thing that she needed was a fur - which she found at Mimikri - though she did tell me to quote another famous Snow Queen and say "the cold never bothered me anyway"...
Why not come and see me for a little... I have turkish delight!

Still feeling like I am on the outside looking in at Christmas this year, I really don't feel very festive and cannot get myself into the Christmas Spirit no matter what I do... I've been blasting myself with music, watching Christmassy feel-good movies and staring at the tree and it's sparkling décor wondering why the heck I cannot feel in the festive mood!
I feel like I'm sneaking around watching the fun but not being able to join in... A bit like the Christmas Snow Perv...
The poor little Snow Perv, all she wanted to do was join in the Christmas fun - hoping that there would be the usual Christmas argument and perhaps if she was lucky the chance for a little macabre fun?!
Labelled a Psycho - thanks to 7mad;Ravens - and hidden behind her Snow Perv Mask - an amazing creation by katat0nik which you can still grab at Tannenbaum until Sunday - she's been forced to roam the streets of the little village of Winter Flakes looking for anywhere a monster like her can find a little Christmas Fun...
For now, she like me is on the outside looking in... That won't stay this way for long... She can feel it in the snow flurries that have been tormenting the villagers...

Last night I hurt myself pretty bad, I thought I'd be strong and it wasn't so bad but this morning, oh my god this morning it's worse than I thought. I fell down the stairs yesterday, narrowly missing smashing a glass in my hand, as well as smacking my head on the wooden floor, but in the process - and I'm not sure how - I managed to hurt my foot. Now I hear from a RL friend that I may have broken a couple of toes!
So maybe it's lucky, maybe it's not, but I am going to have to work from home today!
Rudh's sick too... A different kind of sick, but still not going anywhere other than the sofa!
It's that time of year again, Cold and Flu season, and even our avatars are not immune to the sicknesses - even though we make them suffer ourselves LOL, and there is nothing more contagious in SL than Drama STDs!
Thanks to Izzie's - for the amazing Sick Face make-up that you can catch when you're at Tannenbaum - and Sari-Sari - for the awesome Am-Sick Gacha items available at The Arcade - it's easy to make your avatar look terribly sick! Without any make-up - can you see her zits LOL - and her hair in a messy pony tail, Rudh like me in RL will be spending the day under her Sari-Sari blanket in her messy Pjs with her teddybear.

Do you wanna build a Snowman?
Not really actually, I've never really been a fan of snow. I love to watch it fall and if I only have to go outside to play in it then awesome, but it's when you have to deal with snow and RL that I am not so keen. I can guarantee that if ANYONE will fall over, it will be me! It's like it's fated to happen every time!
In SL however, Snow is a little easier to live with LOL... It's warmer for a start, and the only way I will have an accident is if Rudh is posed as such! So I've been exploring, playing around in the snow and actually kinda enjoying it!
There are so many gorgeous locations full of snow... Places like It All Starts With A Smile for instance. Kaelyn Alecto - owner of this gorgeous location and brilliant blogging lady - really looks at her location though the eyes of a photographer, giving everyone somewhere gorgeous to create little art pieces - like I tried to do LOL... Thank you for that Kaelyn!!
Now as you can tell my inner child went to town on my outfit today... YES my stomach is showing but it's SL it's not cold LOL... Although my nose and eyelashes were dusted with snowflakes - a pretty make-up from Izzie's by the way! I'm biting back another song right now, something about Snowflakes staying on noses and eyelashes!
My shawl and the larger snowman that sits on my head are from the Ecclectic Gacha Collection of Lost Junction - found at this month's Arcade - while the smaller snowman is a LODE item... When I asked if people wanted to build a snowman I wasn't actually thinking of it on my head, but hey it does look very classy, just hope it doesn't melt too fast LOL...

I've resisted the urge to do anything Christmassy, but now it's December 1st and apparently in SL it's getting VERY hard to avoid it LOL... Christmas fever seems to have taken over in SL just as much as it has in RL, and although I have held off as long as I can, today seems like a good day to just embrace the holiday season... Who knows what the festivities may bring!?!
I know at least that I won't be with my RL family this Christmas, and so I plan on making things with my SL family feel just that bit more special. I will admit though that not being able to see my parents at this time of year always makes me a little depressed, and perhaps a little trapped?

I fell in love with these baubles from {anc} - available now at Tannenbaum Holiday Market. First let me talk about the market, as it's really cute and worth checking out... It's basically what it says on the box, a shopping spree full of Christmas decor!! I bought a few things - some wreaths from Jian, a million Christmas baubles and even my tree, but it was in fact this particular bauble that drew me in! As soon as I saw these {anc} Glass Ornaments I HAD to have one, of course me being me I wanted the snow version which is a Rare but I have a secret weapon and she managed to find me one in trade for the rainy version!!! Thank you Secret Weapon!!!
The little snow imp - my character for the day - seems to have been trapped in the bauble for a while though, all that snow built up on her wings, and she's lucky that there is so much hair in her Amoret Style - from Truth - to keep her a little warmer!
There, I've done it, I popped my Christmas 2015 Photo cherry LOL... Don't expect too much pretty from me yet though, I have a feeling that I may be a little gloomy... Oh one more thing, does anyone want one of these baubles!?!
