I will fully admit to you that I am NOT a fan of house hold chores... I get so bored and even music won't help, I'd just much rather be doing something else. Don't get me wrong my house is tidy but I hate to spend too long doing the cleaning...
In SL it took me a long time to have things in my house like a Kitchen... I didn't want to be reminded of dirty dishes, until I had to have a kitchen to start using all the adorable food things I'd bought.
My least favourite chore though, has to be vacuuming... I HATE IT so usually it's HellBone's job, but in SL, like with many things it's a chore I can live with... Especially when it's done with a little retro flair!!!
A retro apartment in the Backdrop City, was the perfect place for Rudh to practice her vacuuming skills.
She had some awesome outfit to go with the décor of the room... A dress from 1313 MockingBird Lane, which is in one of 6 patterns that is available at Rewind. The event is themed for the swinging 60's! YAY such a fun era!! I wore it with a pair of awesome leather boots called Lictor from lassitude & ennui, which are available at the current round of We <3 RP!
Now all I need is some swinging sixties music to dance and sing too...

Recently my little SL family got a bit bigger... NO there are no kids involved, not of Hell and mine anyway. We learnt our lesson... That won't be happening again... BUT when it comes to family, I'm happy to say that I've been adopted by the BOOM clan!
My newly adoptive Sister Racey, is President of the Ghost Bullys MC. Leading a troop of people that are very much like the Gators in their levels of crazy. She's the proud - or maybe not so depending on when we're talking - momma of 4, Biller, Lily, Dusti and her baby, Kitten... I became close with both Momma and Baby thanks to the departure of an Ex Gator, who actually did me a massive favour by leaving!
So today I'm paying homage to my BOOM family... A picture inspired by my Neice Kitten...
A kittenish Rudh... Not really that shocking, considering I won these awesome Cat Panties from VCO at the Hentai Fair. I'm not wearing real Kitty ears though, that's all part of this adorable wig from #Foxy.
Yet the biggest shocker of this picture HAS to be all the pink... For some reason, as soon as I dressed like a kitty, I was drawn to the pinkness... I blame the Kittens!!!

Bit of a sad post for me today, as I have to report the closing of one of my favourite pose making stores. I'm trying not to be too sad, since I've been with this store since it's start, but a girl can't really help feeling sad when something she loves disappears.
Though to go with the sad I needed to do something a little happy feeling, and today I'm thinking back to my childhood... I was born in the late 80's, and so my childhood was spent through the 90's. Rewind this month, is taking us back to Y2K, with fashions and things that I remember really well... A little Britney - not that she was my choice but my younger sister LOVED her - a little DUH and a lot of OHMYGAHTHEMILLENNIUMBUGISCOMING!!! All of that aside though, one of my favourite things when I was a kid, was running around the beach, playing in the surf and having a really good time doing it - now days I'm way too scared of the fact it's BLOODY FREEZING! There was one thing I never went without, and now Ama made some exactly like I had!!!
First the good stuff then the sad I think...
I mentioned before about Ama having made some exactly like I had... I'm talking about the Jelly Shoes - or as they call them the Millennium Platforms - which they have released for Y2K Rewind. I used to love these shoes as a kid on the beach, I had them in loads of colours, though my favourites were always the glittery ones! I knew I had to go play on The Beach in them!
Now the Sad... Signature Pose has now closed it's doors in world...
This has been one of my favourite, go-to stores when I needed poses. OK so I'm a little biased, since I've been visiting the store I have been lucky enough to become good friends with the stores owner - Amanda Randall - but even without that it seems so sad to see a store I love close... Poses are still available via the Marketplace, and there may be releases in the future too, but for now it's time for a break.

After the naughtiness of yesterday, it's time to tone it down a little... My inner bad girl has been subdued and is now back in her box, but it's definitely given me a little more of a spring in my step today hehe.
Now I know Spring cleaning happens in the Spring, why else would it be Spring Cleaning?! Though Autumn is also a great time for cleaning up to prepare for the long Winter months...
Rudh has just started moving into a new house in SL too... The Hobbit house was awesome but a little too big for her needs, so once the Halloween maze was gone, Rudh was able to focus on housing!!! This new house is perfect, I'm sure you'll see it once everything is ready... For now, decorating and cleaning go hand in hand...
Ama has again proved very helpful when it comes to poses - though admittedly this one is a little more PG than the last one I used in yesterday's post - with this Clean Up pose, that comes as one of 4 from a set of different poses at 1940's Rewind.
She also - while cleaning up some of her things to put out in the house - found an awesomely useful apron, that is just perfect for all kinds of different household chores from Tres Blah! It looks great with the Miss Chelsea Jeans.
Not long though, she's just doing some final cleaning and soon she'll be ready to show off her new house!!! It's looking SO CUTE!!!!

The Dead side of me is happy, the rainbow sparkles side of me is happy, and now I can get on and share some of my other happiness with everyone... Although at the moment I'm making myself a little down-in-the-dumps as I miss being at home in the UK, and am therefore thinking about planning a trip to visit Ol'Blighty.
Still least in SL I can unleash some of my crazed Britishness, and am going to do so today while I take a ride on a tube train through London. Of course I'm not just going to sit normally while I ride in the train, OH NO lol, I'm going for a train ride London Punk Style!!!
The Rewind event is almost coming to a close now, you have until September 10th to get in an grab any last minute goodies that you may have missed, but I couldn't help myself taking some time to share in the Punk attitude. I LOVE Punk music, and I love the style of dress too, I wish I was braver in RL or I'd wear more of it myself... In SL though I can and will, so today that's what I'm going to do... As you can see!
The outfit is an amalgamation of things including a gorgeous punk set called Vivienne from Dead Dollz - available at Rewind - and then went to town adding all kinds of Punkish accessories... Some awesome Punk Sunglasses from Ama hidden a little behind the fringe of this fierce looking [LCKY] Hair, ripped stockings and a handy place for her ciggies even, but my most favourite accessorising piece has to be my little friend.
My favourite item is this AMAZEBALLS CUREMORE Punk Rat Gal... This is a gacha item along with the stockings and choker that I'm wearing, but she's not a rare item so possibly easier to get!?
So let's ride the Underground and sing... GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!!! Not the anthem variety... The one with Johnny Rotten!

I'm having a lazy Sunday. It's HOT here again today, although not as hot as it has been so I'm working a bit harder than I have to get things ready for a trip back home to visit my parents! It's a proper work out in this heat though, I'm working up a sweat and everything!! Have to keep stopping for cold glasses of water!
I've never really been keen on the gym, I know that some people love it but for me it's not something I'm very keen on... Rudh on the other hand is OK there, she's a bit of a freak about most things and likes being fit as she's gotta keep herself looking awesome, but some days, her and I have a very similar attitude to things...
One workout away from a Cupcake more like... She was working out at the Alpha Gym, and suddenly it dawned on her... She needed Cupcakes!
Dressed in some very 80's Party Time glam work out gear - not sure that Disorderly & MoonAmore meant it this way but hey it is what it is lol - while the work out instructor was able to Rewind the music tape, Rudh decided on a little work out of her own... A work out of the jaw while she ate this awesome yummy looking cake from Lost Junction's Cupcake Menagerie - which is available until May 31st at The Gacha Garden!!

It's HOT today... So hot it feels sweltering and stifling and oppressive almost... Ideally, I'd like to be sitting somewhere cool, in the shade and the breeze with a cold drink in my hand but unfortunately no such luck. I have to work, and that's all there is to it, so I'm stuck behind my PC - yes I'm working here in my underwear LOL - and I feel stuck...
Going to share with you an image I took of Rudh, in a similar predicament. It was something that I was working on while I felt artistic one day, and I'm not sure what people will think, but I personally love it!!!
Trapped somewhere strange and foreboding, poor little Rudh is being held hostage by some weird cyborg like creatures... All she can do is cower behind the glass of the cage that they put her in, and hope that she can withstand the heat!
I'm not responsible for the set of this photo, the setting is one of the awesome photo locations at WHOLE WHEAT and yes I am a little bit addicted to using their sets, but that's because they are so very well put together, and are free for everyone to use!
Her warrior like outfit is made up of a collection of different mismatched things, including something from the SOON TO CLOSE round of Memento Mori - in fact it may have even just closed as I write this - which is this awesome Strappy Mess - from le fil casse - that wraps around your body to cover all the naughty bits. Over the top of the straps, for a little more protection - although it too doesn't cover very much - is the Kaithleen's Chain Mail Armor.
She dresses herself with some Infierno Heels that will be handy in war, and a Cureless Mask to mark the Twelfth Night of battle. Something so fearsome it would scare even the bravest opponent.

For me I've always been someone who simply cannot take too many risks as I have a massive tendency to over-think everything. I can roll an idea around and around in my head, looking at it from every angle and more often than not, focusing on the negatives.
I wish life was so simple as the fairytales... Sure sometimes things were tough but at the end it was all sparkles and sunshine. It seems in RL that when you start to rise, you always get knocked back down again at some stage.
Wouldn't it be nice if life was so simple as Cinderella makes it out to be... When life is tough just believe in magic and slip on a shoe?!
Rudh tried it... Although slipping into a pair of gorgeous sparkly heels - like these Glitterati Heels from Reign - makes her feel good, there's no magical transformation, she's still Rudh that over-thinks and doesn't have a handsome prince... OK I still have HellBone and he's not bad on the eyes lol, but he's not really a Viking is he?! LOL...
She's sitting in her chicken coop - complete with her new friendly Chicken Companion from Jian - in a regal JACKALOPE chair trying on shoes, dreaming that a sexy Viking will come and whisk her off her feet. Thinking about it now though, maybe if she's being kidnapped by a Viking she's better off in her dungarees and DMs. Might get a little muddy in Viking territory!

Woot, Monday Morning... I've had a very busy weekend - great but busy - and now I feel like I am ready to go back to bed after I've only just gotten out of it. I'm suffering something that is akin to a hangover but it's more like a gig weariness as this weekend HellBone and I went to see Avenged Sevenfold with Disturbed and then Anthrax... Maybe I'm getting too old for this?! LOL...
Maybe that's why Geri left the Spice Girls?!
Sorry my mind is wandering in all kinds of weird directions this morning, but I've been playing around with some of my new stuff from Rewind, and well... There's this dress... and it got me to thinking, what would Geri have done after leaving the Spice Girls?!
Perhaps a show career of a different kind? Washed up and in a different kind of live performance?! Maybe at a place like The Rabbit Hole - an underground Strip Club?!
I'm sure if that was to ever have happened, she'd have been able to make a fortune by dressing in her Ginger Spice outfit, the one that was so popular back in the 90's, was worn at the Brits and was in fact made using a tea towel! It's become so popular that for a 90's themed event, a well-known and loved designer such as Addams has designed, named and even included the Union Jack print version in their latest release for the event.
The fall of Ginger Spice sees her taking a job in a Live Nudes Bar... What a way to Spice Up your Life?!
