Today is the day... It's the last of the posts that I can share with you for this month's Horror Haute line-up... There are still TONS of things that I've not shown you, but then hey I cannot show you everything as that would possibly ruin a few surprises... You'll have to trust me when I say that these have been my favourites but there are so many things out there that you shouldn't miss!
I've made two simple pictures for this post, so that we ease you out gently and that way hopefully you won't get withdrawl symptoms LOL...
The first is a bit more showy than the second! It's possibly because there was a visit from the Day of the Dead partygoers lol... The head dress is a "Simply the Best" re-release from Lilith's Den for this month's Horror Haute theme, and I simply couldn't resist sharing this as my favourite for the store. I love the little skulls with those HUGE bright flowers - this really sums up Dia de los Muertos for me. I decided to wear the headdress simply, without hair, but with a new release from a store that's Horror Haute but this Sthenno Latex Bodysuit - from ImmateriA - is actually available at The Alchemy this month!
Then for the pose... I decided to use another item from the La Maison des Corbeaux's - LMdC for short - re-releases... This time it was Dia de los Muertos themed to match the outfit I'd chosen! The pouf style stools are a series called My Sugar Skull, each in a different colour with bright patterns over the top... Such a cute item to have in a house of an sugar skull girl!
The last of the Horror Haute Items I am going to share with you this month is the one above... The set of nails are the Dark Passions Koffin Nails in a Monster Movie Madness print... I love that they are printed with the original horror monsters of movies, and I will admit that though I photoshopped to be able to show you all of the designs, it would have been too tough to choose just one print to show you!!
So that's it, Horror Haute is officially open until the beginning of August, and then there will be lots more pretties to come from the new line-up! For now if you haven't checked out Simply the Best then you should, what are you waiting for?!

Strange to see a little angel sitting in the clouds and enjoying the sunlight, especially when you think that she's an angel of Horror, but that's what she is... Don't let her innocent look fool you!?!
I'll share with you a possible little secret right now, and that is, Angels are like flamingoes, the colour of their feathers changes depending on what they eat! Now I've always believed that angels eat cake LOL... Why else would something that tastes like Heaven have been created?! Duh?! LOL... This would explain the creamish wings they have right?
In this case, you can tell she's a Horror Angel, her wings are blood red, you can tell what she eats hehe...
Lots of different things make this Horror Angel look the way she does, things from various events too... For example the Florchild Halo that she is wearing is a Oneword release from The Horror, and there is a handful of things here that have been past event releases - such as the Thorned Beauty Rose Jewellery from roobix - but the entire reason for this photo was in fact one item... The Tasty Pudding Vamp Cobweb Stockings are that reason. They are available in a series of different colours, and have the ability to wear the thorns without the socks too! These socks are a release for the Simply the Best line-up of Horror Haute this month, by the way, just so you know hehe...
So if you ever see an Angel with red wings, no matter how pretty they are... RUN!!

Not everything in the latest line-up of Horror Haute, for their Simply the Best round, can be worn... Some things are best rezzed! I've noticed there is also a great deal of the goodies from this month which will be less useful for the male population of SL than the female...Though there is one booth at the event that is 100% Unisex, so boys this one will appeal to you...
I have to admit that I am also a little bit biased for this booth, as it is the one for Hogs and Cart Wheels - or H&C Wheels for short - that is owned by my hubby HellBone!
Hogs and Cart Wheels is a fairly new store to the Horror Haute line-up, and so they have had one vehicle which can participate until now. The VooDoo has been made available at it's original Horror Haute Price of 50L for the duration of the event, but the other cars are what HellBone wants to share with you now...
How do you fancy a MESH Ghostbusters vehicle for only 200L? This would normally be sold for 2000L, and it comes with all the things you'd hope to find in a Ghostbusters car with the exception of the Ghostbusters and the ghosts LOL... Another of his cars, the Wolfenstein, has been reduced to 100L until the end of the event, and there are a selection of bikes for only 50L each too...
These are PERFECT for guys or girls, and I promise you now if you have any issues I will personally make sure he fixes them for you hehe!!!

Who'd have thought it?! For what may be possibly my first of two Horror Haute based posts today, I am taking a trip to the beach to my friend- Mrs Dracula's beach house! She doesn't tend to use this place much during the daylight hours, so when she offered and told me to make use of everything including all her clothing in the wardrobe I jumped at the chance!
Being a vampire at the beach has it's perks I guess, you never have to fight to get the perfect spot and that moon glow must be pretty good for keepng a pale shimmering complexion, but when you're using a vampires things during a daytime trip to the beach, bare in mind that a Black Parasol will block out all of the light LOL...
The beach I am visiting today is one called Amavatar Paradise, and if you're a photographer this place is great because you can rez props and the like here - just a little tip for those of you that are interested - I needed to find somewhere in which I could rez some of the awesome collection that came from Livid for this month's Horror Haute!
In fact with the exception of my skin and hair - which was a past Arcade release from Truth, everything you see me wearing as well as the bag and furniture comes from Livid for the Simply the Best Horror Haute event. Yes, you see that right, you not only get the furniture and the bag, you also get the swimsuit, shoes and hat!!! It's such a bargain!

Today is a Horror Haute Day LOL...
Today it is the turn of two other stores to stand in the spotlight as the Horror Haute Simply the Best items - although Stargazer Creations is featured as the skin and SongBird gets another look in as the mess around my mouth too hehe...
But today, little vampire me awakens from my slumber, in need of a quick fix drink awoke from her La Maison des Corbeaux Dhampir Coffin - the best beds for the living dead in her opinion - finding her spare bag without even removing her mask.
The mess around her mouth shows that last night's party was a good one... Who's blood it is she cannot tell you, the memory is blurry in her mind... All she knows is that she looks freaky fabulous in her awesome LUNAtic Crusher Corset and she's happy she chose the grey colour hehe...

Hair Fair starts tomorrow and I am working hard, like a good little worker bee, to get a look at some of the new releases that could be adorning your heads over the next couple of weeks... Yet I mustn't forget the awesome events that are taking place elsewhere on the grid at the moment too...
One of those is Horror Haute, YES it's still on as it's running for a full THREE WEEKS this month!
I decided that it's been a good few days, I think it's now time to inject your life with a little Horror, and this time TENTACLES!!!
The tentacle look is inspired by one of our Simply the Best designers favourites... The Untitled is a store that was totally unknown to me until I discovered it whilst working on the Horror Haute! It's designs are fun and yet have a simplicity that means they are usually very versatile... This dress is a prime example of that.The Kraken Dress was a release a while back that includes this dress and also a set of awesome back tentacles, which can be worn separately or all at once - I love that - and it was always one of my favourite Horror Haute pieces...
The rest of the look I kept simple, accessorising with a Tentacle theme... I wore a necklace from Zombie Suicide, and curly Magika hair, then I went down to the swamp to show off my new tentacles to the beast that lives in the swamp!!

It's that time again... SIMPLY THE BEST time again... But this time I bring to you, someone fairly new to the Horror Haute event - at least this is the first time that I have seen them participate, maybe I am confused in the summer heat but someone will slap me and tell me otherwise if I'm wrong!
Today is horrific because I spent some time torturing and finally impaling an interloping teddybear! Normally I love plushies, I welcome them into my house - either RL or SL by the way - and give them all the love and attention they desire, but this little teddy was caught harming one of my little friends... LOL... So I brutally tortured him and then impaled him with my antlers LOL...
Gosh, that makes me sound more than a little insane right? I'm not sure Horror is the right word, more like Psycho perhaps?!
Still it's not entirely my fault, it can be in part blamed to today's "Simply the Best" Horror Haute outfit... As I said, this store seems to be new to the line-up, but it seems to be very promising! Actually I am in love with this outfit hehe... The dress is a gacha item, and this is a rare patterned version of the Grimina Grunge Dolly Dresses. The antlers however are my favourite items! They are Devilish Deer Teddy Hunter Horns, and although I chose the deer version there are demon and unicorn versions available too! Both of these items are available now at the Horror Haute location from {MOEKO}, and if this is what they are offering up for this month, I cannot wait to see what more comes from this store!! It's so exciting to find somewhere new that you like!!
The rest of the look I kept fairly simple, not wanting to distract from the dress... A cute Ring Collar from tapi, and my SpellBound wig held back by a pretty hairband... All in the cause of asking the gods for rain, whilst doing a rain dance, to cleanse myself of teddybear blood!

I've always wondered what it would be like going to a masquerade and so this little monster was allowed to go to the ball! Though I am not sure she quite understood about wearing a mask to hide her identity... She just chose to make her skin into her mask!
Still isn't she cute!!!! She's a Horror Haute Princess, the belle of the Masquerade Ball, Horror Haute's Simply the Best hehe...
As you may well know this month's theme for Horror Haute is Simply The Best of Horror Haute... I've been working through the myriad of items sent by the Horror Haute Participating designers, and have so many pretty things to share, today it's the turn of SongBird and Stargazer Creations to take center stage!
I'm pretty sure I've used these items before, but as it is the best of then I am justified in using them again. The skin is one called Death Doll, from Stargazer Creations, and like always the set comes with a million different extras including appliers! Such amazing quality, I wouldn't be going anywhere else for fantasy skins now! The set also includes the pretty Death Doll Collar that I am wearing here too!
The SongBird Mask of the Dead has to be one of my favourite and most gruesome Horror Haute releases over the past 5 months. You should all know by now just how much I love a good wound, and this one is a brilliant one!

Horror Haute - as I am sure you will hear more than once at over the coming weeks - is celebrating a change and therefore is running a round that is to be known as the "Simply the Best" round... IT IS MASSIVE! There is so much awesome stuff, spanning over the previous 5 event themes that if you missed things now is your chance to get them, or perhaps find one of the new awesome exclusives that are available... Each designer has set up their 5 favourite items, and I have decided that I will pick my personal favourites to share with you here...
First up, ImmateriA! This has always been one of my favourite stores in the Horror Haute line-up, as things from this store tend to be different from the norm, and very creative in their design!
The outfit that I have chosen from ImmateriA isn't one of my normal go-to looks either. I tend to shy away from a lot of things in the Sci-Fi category, purely and simply and I'm not ashamed to admit it either, because I am terrified of aliens... This time however, when I tried on the Dead Space outfit from ImmateriA, I decided that I could pull the look off without fear of alien encounter, it's dead space after all hehe... I went down a more futuristic path, creating a Rudh Cyborg - serves me right for watching an old Terminator movie recently - and ran around at Insilico to find the perfect photography location!
The Dead Space outfit includes along with the dress, this awesome leg attachment. See your own android power flickering between the wires in your leg... It's such a great idea and definitely a fun accessory... BUT seeing that I decided to play up the cyborg Rudh look... I remembered this older now, but still freaking awesome hair from Discord Designs that is made entirely of Ethernet Cables! If that doesn't look like a futuristic robot Rudh, then I give up lol, I'm not very good at Sci-Fi LOL...
Still ImmateriA has always and will always no doubt be one of my favourite Horror Haute stores... It's simply one of the best hehe... For this and lots of other awesome items, check out Horror Haute, and keep checking back to see my other Horrorific favourites brought to life!

This month, we are celebrating the Horror Haute... There have been some massive changes within the event planning, and we've even taken on the day to day running of two new to the team events!
So this month, to give our awesome organisers - Miss AnnabelleLee Dreadlow and Miss Aggie MacTavish - a chance to sort things out in their heads as to how planning will work moving forward, the Horror Haute Theme for this month is "Simply the Best"...
Participating designers - and there are a good handful of them - will be releasing items so that you can grab them once again at their Horror Haute prices... They may even have created some new, exclusives for the event, so I cannot wait to show you what's in store...
Over the next week or so I plan on sharing with you some of the releases, chosing my favourites from their favourites... For now though I am going to share a collage of my blogging for the event... A collage of my own personal "Simply the Best of Horror Haute" as a blogger!!
Some of these are fairly old, but from the top working down, I'll share a link so you can check out the details! Top Left is a Nightmare in the Kitchen, then in the right corner is a sign that Even Hell's Demon's love Horror Haute! Bottom left, possibly the oldest photo I've chosen is something about summoning a demon with a Horror Haute Tribute, and then a nod to how excited Horror Haute makes me because I was Rolling or Falling for one round of the event LOL... The photo in the middle is one of my favourite Horror Haute - if not my favourite - I LOVED this theme so much and we all were told to Bring Out Your Dead for Horror Haute's plague theme...

Horror Haute comes to a close for this month today, and next month is already shaping up to be a HUGE kettle of fish for the team... We're swelling in size due to the incoming union of two standing events... We had a corporate take over - of sorts - for events known as Spooky Cute and Against the Mainstream... Things behind the scenes of the Haute are also changing... There is much to come and my excitement is building, I CANNOT WAIT TO TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT hehe.. For that though you need to wait until next month, Mwhahahahahaha...
Let me talk more about the last of the Voodoo things that you can grab today... Remember the event closes today and these things will go back to main store locations... If you miss them at the event, the prices may change too... DON'T MISS OUT!
I have three Horror Hauteish things on in this photo... First off the Mask, which I have to say does stand out is the iVoudou Mask from Tasty Pudding. It has a selection of different make-up colours, and a mask that rolls through various different patterns and colours to create a very eerie magical effect! I wore a top from AfterMath Creations with a Damballa print, and then accessorised with some of the coolest nails I have seen in a LONG time... These nails might make you squeamish but the Dark Passions Voodoo Pinned Nails are simply amazeballs!!!
The last of May's Horror Haute line up that I want to share, I cannot forget and miss this as it is just so cute, is the Thirst Dress from Blue Blood. The dresses are in various colours, with and without the floral prints, but they are a perfect look for a Voodoo dolly, that is if you can ignore the blood LOL... I LOVE blood so I have no issue going out in a dress that is soaked in it however LOL...

Time for a little more Voodoo magic... I am on a roll this month, three looks in three days, all of them focused on the Voodoo side of SL and the awesome releases from this month't Horror Haute!
There is so much choice in this month's line-up that any Voodoo King or Queen would feel right at home and be able to get themselves a new wardrobe all at once!
This look was inspired by one of these outfits... The Ghost Story Releases are a series of three different coloured dress and turban sets called Marie Leveau. I chose a redish coloured one and removed my hair so that it looked perfect with the scarf draped around my head. I kept the rest of the outfit simple so that I could showcase the clothing better, I added a pair of Aftershok VooDoo shoes and a Helian Necklace from KOSH, and then my third Voodoo look was complete!!!

I'm back with a little more of that Horror Hauteish Voodoo today... There is SO MUCH good stuff that let's face it, there may be a little more yet before I let you forget about the mysterious religion! OR before I let you forget about that song that, if you're anything like me, will have been stuck in your head any time someone mentions the word Voodoo... I'm not kidding, as soon as I hear or see the word, I get all "I'm not the one whose so far away, when I feel the snakebite enter my veins" LOL... Check out the Godsmack Voodoo song if you have no idea what I'm talking about, then you will feel my pain...
Still, I have decided that this time the Voodoo needs to be able to go a little faster - maybe that will leave my head quicker? I dunno, anyway - it's also my darling Hubby's first time in the Horror Haute Team... I can use the idea of fast Voodoo to give him some shameless promotion hehe...
Seeing as I mentioned him, the first thing in this photo that I really want to point out is the Bike. It looks a little small as I stand next to it, but it's a Race Bike and I am wearing some incredibly tall heels - from Eccentricities as part of their Hogun release for Horror Haute by the way - when you sit on the bike you lean quite far forward hehe... This Voodoo Race Bike from H&C Wheels - my hubby's store - is a lean, mean, drifting machine, complete with it's own skulls and shrunken zombie head to make it the perfect high speed transport for any Voodoo king or queen...
Anyway as I was riding around in the swamp, looking for potion items, I spotted a newly cleaned human skull... YAY!! To make it seem even better, my necklace REALLY seemed to like the new skull, this is one of those Salem Madam Layaux Necklaces - it glows in the eyes when it's happy hehe...
The skull around my neck seems to really love the new skull I found, but I AM IN LOVE with the rest of my Voodoo styling too today. Starting with the outfit, it's made up of bits from Horror Haute, the boots I have mentioned, but the dress and legstraps are items from {LUNAtic} simply HAD to be worn. I LOVE the patchwork dress and the pin straps are so handy, as you never know when you need to stick one in a doll hehe... Not that I'm that malicious, well not often anyhow lol... Normally I carry a doll with me everywhere, but not this time, not since I pulled on a new Voodoo Skin from [Stargazer Creations]... As always the Stargazer skin is amazing. Aggie really knows how to create gorgeous fantasy skins! I mean REALLY KNOWS!
But I think I've stood here long enough yammering on about things, it's time for this Voodoo Biker Chick to raise some hell in the swamp... Till later, I WILL BE BACK hehe...

It's a perfectly dark, and mysterious lifestyle to fit perfectly into the Horror Haute event theme, although this isn't always the case and there can be lighter forms of voodoo too...
I mean OK I don't know a lot about Voodoo - other than what Disney's Princess and the Frog, and the Godsmack Voodoo song tell me, which to be frank isn't all that much LOL - but there is such a wealth of information on the internet - some of it more reliable than others - I guess I should do some research before launching into the ramble about Horror Haute's theme this month huh?!
Apparently - and it's lesson time with Rudh lol - Voodoo comes in 4 slightly different forms depending on your location, but it seems that one which is most well known would be the Louisana Voodoo... It's the one I have associated my Horror Haute stylings with, its the one in which it is believed that Voodoo Dolls originated and as it is Louisiana the swamp vibe I have going on totally fits...
End of lesson for today... Let's talk about HORROR HAUTE MAY!!!
I took a little break to relax in my tree in the swamp whilst I was working on the Voodoo me and thought wow this would work for what I wanted in a photo...
My voodoo look was made up of a layering of skin from [Stargazer Creations], with tattoos from [Gauze], a face and neck tattoo laid over the top from Ama and then a smearing of red lipstick too...
The rest of my outfit and props are items for the Horror Haute this month... The dress and pin jewellery that I am wearing is from Brick-A-Brack, and the props - including the flag, staff and skulls are all releases from Lilith's Den. I'm even smoking a Facepalm Cigar that I stole from the Son of Samdedi!!!
I have my doll out ready though, so who shall I play with for a while, whilst I sort out my next look... OH HELLBONE!?!

It's coming... Ever Closer... Can you hear it creeping it's way in? The dark magic is drawing closer and closer, and it's time that everyone made sure they are prepared for this month's dark power to take over and throw open it's doors to lure you into the mist and darkness...

LOL, so overly dramatic am I sometimes... LOL really, I could win an oscar perhaps?! No?! Oh well it was worth a try...
Still the entire point for that overly dramatic and somewhat pitiful performance is that I wanted to let you know that HORROR HAUTE MAY IS ALMOST HERE!! I wanted to, as was decreed by the bosses of the event, and as we tried last month with LOTS of success, let you in on the secret which is that the theme of the upcoming round is VOODOO!! YAY!! There are so many awesome Voodooish things that you will NEED to check the event out!
Just as an F.Y.I however, the things in the photograph above are not available at Horror Haute but come from buried deep in my hoard... If you're like me you will be itching to get your hands on something new, so I will have to stop talking about it or I will make myself insane hehe... All I will say is check back in a few days, you never know what I might do when I voodoo!!

The month draws to a close, and I have time for one last Horror Haute
post to bring a touch of the Dark Fae to my rambling space. Those pesky fairies have moved into the swampy home and made it their own causing all kinds of mischief, but today, on their last day they planned a small party to gather themselves in one place before the migration back to their own realm.
The tea party is laid out on an "Into the Dark Woods" Table and Chairs set from La Maison des Corbeaux - a Horror Haute release by the way - with an exquisite set from the same store - that was a past release for The Witching Hour - is a Which Witch Tea Set...
The fairies danced around it - using poses from dimma for the Dark Fae Set, both different styles but still part of a family...
The fae on the left is more of a warrior, with a little flair for elegance. The skins are part of the same set that I have used before for Horror Haute this month, a set from Stargazer Creations, and the hair is an old one from Magika... Her outfit is made up of a Ghost Story Grim Dress that she has teamed with a skirt to make an outfit from a ready made outfit that you can pick up from TLB.
To accessorise, she pulled on a pair of long black gloves, that are part of a set from AfterMath Creations, and a gorgeous collar from Chop Shop - which comes in a selection of 8 different colours! She even has two pairs of wings... One pair, the back from AfterMath Creations and the front from Brick-a-Brack, together seemed to make a very powerful radiant fae!!!
The fairy wings from the second look are a part of the set that includes the Grim Dress from Ghost Story, I loved the dark demonic look to them... She wears a simple Brick-A-Brack Camisk Dress in a dark purple colour, with a matching Lillfolae Mask from Laudanum Lollipops, to shield her Dark Fae BLD eyes.
The Dark Fae are now beginning to disappear into the mist, if you hurry to Horror Haute you may catch them, but there is a rumbling in the wind... Something dark may have left but it seems that a little magic has been left in it's place...
