Running to the Desert to go Glamping!

I think I'm going to run away... Now that I have escaped from my padded cell, it's time to run away and become incognito... I will need a new alias and somewhere new to go!!
Perhaps somewhere warm? I dont normally like warm - I get overheated way too easily - BUT I'm thinking that it might be the last place that they'd look for me LOL...
Maybe I should run to somewhere hot and arid, I could move into  tent and become a Saharan Princess... Sounds like a hard life, but there may have been a little too much blood in my cell yesterday and that in the end may make things harder hehe...

I'm moving into La Vie... It's not as dry and arid as I thought, there is a lot of sea water yet it feels distant enough that people may not be able to find me here!
As for the incognito look and alias, I seem to be floundering at that... Perhaps I should change my name to something crazy like 'GoldenSunshine Princess of the Desert'?! Or is that level of crazy too much of a give-away that it's me?!
My look isn't really likely to fool anyone either is it?! I mean can't remove the tattoos, and when trying to wash my hair dye out it just became more of my natural red colour! Luckily I can hid it under this pretty headscarf - a style created by Moon called "Mim" that is available at UBER by the way! Whilst on the subject of UBER though, I want to mention this amazing necklace created by (Yummy) that you can also grab for yourself at the event.
I think that I am ready to live like a Bedowen in a tent... Could it be more like Glamping than Camping though please?! I'm so not good with sleeping outside LOL...

Wannabe Mermaid

Waking up after having weird dreams has left me feeling a bit strange this morning... I don't know exactly what the dreams were about but I can remember a feeling of HUH? and as I wake up I am still feeling that same weird mix of emotions... I feel so weird in fact that I'm kinda at a loss for words, I have nothing of any value to say this morning and so when choosing something from my collection to blog, the best idea was something a little crazy... 

Hence the Wannabe Mermaid look... Someone told Rudh if she eats enough Mermaids, then she may become one, it's the sort of thing my mum used to tell me when I was a kid wanting a lot of something to eat, but anyway, that explains why she's bobbing around in the middle of the ocean - in a Signature Pose Floatie that you can grab at GEN:Neutral - chomping on a little mermaid and looking a little bit like she has an opalescent sheen to her skin. 
Just for those of you that are interested, no mermaids were harmed in the making of this photograph... This mouthie prop is a very old school gacha item from Evie's Closet - I'm not sure it's still even available - and the sheen to her skin is a new release from The White Crow at the latest round of the Kawaii Project. 
Perhaps sharing a picture of Rudh like this was not my best idea this morning, I still feel like I'm in that weird dream!! I must find more caffeine!! Wakey Wakey Rise and Shine!!!

Heels leave me Sore

The weekend has been busy, and there have been battle fought in both worlds, OH and it's only just Sunday morning... Thank goodness it's Sunday morning and we still have a day of what should be peace... Feeling bruised and sore, I for one am definitely taking today easy, no if's ands or buts about it! 
To share the feeling of soreness - Lol is that even a real word, I'm not sure anymore lol - I found a picture of Rudh I took on a night out recently... 

Poor Rudh, she's been dancing all night... Her feet hurt, but can you really blame them when you see the height of the heels that she's subjected them too?! Gorgeous heels, a pair of Desdemonia Heels from Petite Mort by the way, but still a pair that would give even the bravest person vertigo... No wonder her feet are sore LOL...
Her dress - a Petite Mort "Selene" dress in a nude tone - was also a bad idea, no wonder she cannot sit elegantly on the floor as she tried to soothe her sore feet LOL... HOT DRESS, not so good for sitting in as it's skin tight LOL... 
Perfect for performing at the Sable Club, not so good for dancing the night away perhaps LOL... 
Anyone want to come rub my sore feet?

Frolicking with the Fae Folk

Sometimes you just have to let go... 
Things have been boiling to a head again within the MC that I call my family, and last night was a breaking point for one of our members. It's a times like this that I always feel fairly unhappy - especially when it comes to being ditched as a friend without the person even taking the time to talk to me personally... 
So this morning, while things are quiet, I am going to let go... I'm going to dancing in a field of flowers, and frolick with the fae folk, just so that I can clear my head...  

At a gorgeous location called TELRUNYA - the Forest of Dreams - is a hidden flower patch, deep in the woodland... If you're lucky you can find the Fae Folk here... This is where I chose to go dancing.
Dressed in a Leilani Floral Romper Suit - so that I could blend in and get lost within the flowers - I danced... The heels I was wearing were perhaps not the best of shoes, but when the fairies gave me a wreath of violets - a flower that means watchfulness in it's blue colour and taking a chance on happiness in it's white - I took it as a good omen...

I was just trying it on...

Hehe well this is embarrassing... No one was meant to see me testing out what it would feel like to wear a halo... Ooops! I had to prop it up on my little horns so that I could see it, and the thing wouldn't stay on... It's almost like I'm not meant to wear a halo or be angelic!!! But hey, when someone leaves a Halo laying around, you can't help yourself but see how it would look right?! 

The halo and horns actually come as a set from ShiZZo - the super cute accessories store that is owned by one half of the awesome Signature Pose team, Shilenni - and you too can pick up a halo that is just laying around at GEN:Neutral until June 2nd. 
While I'm showing off the new horns that I got, I should also mention a few other things... Things like these adorable face piercings from The Horror! - which come in light and dark versions and a range of colours for each set - or the nose piercing that I picked up at Bokeh... I mean I know padlocks are not meant to go through the nose but it just looked so cute!!! My collar says it all... The Kibitz Leather Collars say it like it is, and I think I have the right one for me too! 
For now though maybe I should just put the halo back and hope that I don't get into trouble for trying it on LOL...

'Twas the Night Before Christmas

It's finally here, the day that holds all the excitement for a lot of kids across the world... Sure Christmas Day is the day full of presents and over-eating - at least in my house it always was anyway - but I always remember that Christmas Eve was often much more exciting... 
There were house calls to make, gifts to give and in the evening my family and I would always sit around and listen to mum read "The Night Before Christmas" before my sister and I were sent to bed... We would drive mum and dad crazy, waking up at 4AM and sneaking in to their room to ask if we could see what Santa brought... 
So before I leave for a little festive pause - it's just two days people I'll be back on Monday, don't miss me too much - I want to curl up in my SL bed, with my new festive friend and share with you the story that I loved so much in my childhood... I'll share my outfit details too, Don't worry about that, and I will say I wish you all a VERY happy Holidays whatever it is you do!

The Night Before Christmas, by Clement C. Moore. 

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. 

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there. 

The children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads. 

And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap, had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap. 

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter. 

Away to the window I flew like a flash, tore open the shutters and threw up the sash. 

The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below. 

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer. 

With a little old driver, so lively and quick, I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick. 

More rapid than eagles his coursers they came, and he whistled, and shouted and called them by name!

"Now Dasher! Now Dancer! Now Prancer and Vixen. On Comet! On Cupid! On Donner and Blitzen!

To the top of the porch to the top of the wall, Now dash away, Dash away, Dash away all!"

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly, when they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky. 

So up to the house-top the coursers they flew, with the sleigh full of toys and St. Nicholas too. 

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof, the prancing and pawing of each little hoof. 

As i drew in my head, and was turning around, down the chimney St.Nicholas came with a bound. 

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot, and his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot. 

A bundle of toys he had flung on his back, and he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack. 

His eyes - how they twinkled! His dimples how merry! His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry! 

His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow, and the beard of his chin was as white as the snow. 

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth, and the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath. 

He had a broad face and a little round belly, that shook when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly. 

He was chubby and plum, a right jolly old elf, and I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself! 

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head, soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread. 

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, and filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk. 

And laying a finger aside of his nose, and giving a nod up the chimney he rose! 

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, and away they all flew like the down of a thistle. 

But I heard him exclaim, 'ere he drove out of sight, "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

Thoughtfulness at Angel Manor Gardens

Thanksgiving is over, the Black Friday sales too, but having had no part in the former I can honestly say that I have grossly gorged myself on the latter. I might have missed the HUGE family dinner for Thanksgiving, but wow did I shop in the Black Friday Sales... Valentina E, Dead Dollz and Spirit were raided thoroughly lol... Now I need some time for pensive reflection, I think... 

Going to do that with a look-of-the-day and a chance to breathe at the Angel Manor Gardens... Things have been so crazy in my SL and in fact in RL too that I haven't really had a chance for escape in either life. My SL Mum and I are no more, I found out the hard way and learnt too much about the things she thought of me and some of the people we called family. I learnt the hard way, once again, that people seem to be less than willing to take heed of their own actions and are far too quick to blame others for things without taking the time to look in the mirror at themselves... Once again, I'm feeling a kind of bereavement but on this occasion, rather than anger I feel pity and hope that these people will realise the error of their ways before things get too late! I doubt that she will read this, I don't think she ever did, but in case she does, I want to thank her for the good times, thank her for the times she was there when I needed her and I guess, beg her to get some professional help before she loses everyone she holds dear! 
As for my look-of-the-day - something I never thought I'd end up doing but seem to be working on much more frequently now - I pulled some old but still adorable and accessible things from my hoard whilst on a clean-up and thought why not share the look with you!! 
The hat is part of the Truth Foxy hair, and it's just so cute that I couldn't resist this wig. It's my nod to the whimsical, along with the cute yellow Dolly Shorts - from Foxes, yes I know that wasn't an intentional link but funny that hehe! I toned down the cute with a simple sweater from Atomic and then ramped it back up again by adding these adorable Polka Dot Tights from The Secret Store. Accessorising simply with one of my HAD TO HAVE collections from (Nylon Outfitters), the yellow Garden Locket! 
For now though I'm done talking, I think I am going to wrap myself up warm and go for a walk somewhere Autumnal before it becomes to Winterfied here...

An Autumn Walk with the Sheep

I've been digging through my hoard recently, trying to work out what I want to keep and what I need to throw away as I've become a mesh body addict and cannot wear my old system clothing... I am going to admit that some of my favourite pieces will be added to my SL time capsule of a folder, where I have stashed things with meaning such as the ball-gown I wore at my 21st birthday party in SL, but a lot had to go... This did however help me rediscover some things that I'd forgotten, and when I added a new necklace I was happy as a pig in the mud hehe... I guess you might call it a look of the day?! 

The outfit is mostly older stuff, but for a walk in the sheep fields at Kaleidoscope, an older outfit didn't seem like a bad idea! 
The jacket is an oldie but a great one from [Foxes], it's an Aviator Jacket in a dark gunmetal colour, with an awesomely soft furry collar! It looks great with ANY jeans, but I have a new found addiction - yes I know I am late to the party - about the asses from Blueberry, and so Blueberry jeans will grace my butt a lot for the time being hehe... 
To accessorise I decided to keep things simple and found a necklace from a past round of Fi*Friday that I had not worn yet. The BellePoses necklace that I bought a few weeks back called Beth, just looked so cute with this simple outfit that it added a little something and made me feel great!!! 
So I came up with a look of the day, OMG lol, and although I'm not the best fashion photographer in the world I hope you like the outfit I chose hehe...

The Running Away of R2D2

Star Wars seems to have taken over one of the events this month, and trust me this won't be the only time this month I am writing about it because Come Soon Poses has made some awesome pose props for Star Wars geeks, but for now I wanted to share something and had the best photo prop collection out there... My hubby, my brother and my son LOL... 
Though excuse me while I run for my life as this little R2D2 is running away from the fight!!! 

The reason I forced myself into at least acting like I like Star Wars was the fault of the event that is The Instruments and the store that I am a blogger for that is (Poisoned Diamond). They made a coo,l hat based on R2D2 for the event, and I managed to pull a dress out of the hoard from Rotten Defiance... A store that has long since closed but whose Items I still dig out from time to time! 
Weird that I have so much Star Wars stuff in my inventory when I don't like the movies - I'm even sending Hell to see it with his Mum in RL when it's released LOL - but hey it works at times like this... 
May the Force be with you Athrun, maybe next time you will do as your Dad asks lol...

Neverland has a new Pirate Captain!

Boy am I glad that the last two weeks are over, thank God it's Friday! The drama that was surrounding my SL is beginning to die down, thanks to the removal of someone from my daily life, and that - if you pardon the pun of the photo - makes me feel like I've been let off the Hook and am no longer dangling over a precipice heading for the drama pit of doom!! 
I am still however, hiding in my fantasy land bubble for a little while longer, because I am SO not done playing around in Neverland! Thank you so much to the Enchantment team LOL, this has been my favourite round and location so far! 
Today, I am checking out Skull Rock... Going to visit a cousin of mine, he's got a bit of a ticking problem!!  

As you can tell I am loving the theme of this month's Enchantment, and so today I've decided to use their location as a background for my photo... After all if you want a Skull Rock this is a damn good one to choose!
I will admit too that about 90% of my outfit is available at the event, with the exception of my tattoos, my jewellery and the new subscriber group gift from Truth!
The outfit itself is one from Dead Dollz called Polly. This comes in 4 different colour options and has recently been updated with a HUD for colour change of the metals! Now it could be worn as a non-piratey outfit but COME ON, when you get the chance to be a pirate, be a PIRATE lol... I added a few little extras for that extra piratey feel though... I wanted a hat but didn't find one that really made me think YES this is my captain's hat, but the Hook from [CerberusXing] was just way too hard to walk away from. Called Duel's Aftermath, it comes with two different weapon attachments - as I was in Neverland I went with the Hook option but I could have gone for a sword if I wanted to! Then for that final finishing touch, I treated Pirate me to a new Eyepatch from Tabou Irresistible! 
BEWARE Neverland... Hook was bad but Hook Rudh is even more of a deadly pirate... ARGHHHHH!

Join the Pride, Fight with a Big Stick!

Since the attacks in Paris, my hubby has been having nightmares because of what will be happening today... Those attacks took place in a crowded concert venue and they were so horrendous because of the number of people that these places pack in... Tonight HellBone and I are going to a gig in RL and he's a little on edge. I'm not surprised, I am too and no one would blame him for feeling this way, but we cannot stop what we are planning, we have to keep living our lives to the fullest, and so tonight I am going to have a damn good time...
That doesn't mean though that Rudh would take things laying down of course, she's going to carry the biggest and baddest looking weapon she can find... A bit like Tank-Girl Barbie perhaps?!

Her weapon of choice comes from this month's round of We Love RP in the nefarious.inventions booth. The Big Sticks come in clean and used versions, each with and without poses, and each looking like it could do some serious damage... Hence weapon of choice for Rudh LOL... Normally she wouldn't be anywhere near a gun, but times must and she was at The Wastelands, you never know what is coming around the corner hehe...
Her outfit isn't going to be great to fight in however, I mean OK she looks awesome but for fighting perhaps not... Her long loose flowing hair would be better tied back for a start, but this new Exile style is just too kick-butt to ruin that hehe, and well she is showing rather a lot of skin! Not sure the Poisoned Diamond Skirt or the Zenith Leather Ranger Breastplate will make good fighting gear, but hey least she looks good while she defends her vantage point!

Heading Where It's Hazardous...

I've been so wrapped up in the drama that surrounds me lately, yet when I take a look at the bigger picture, it seems like meaningless drivel compared to what happened in Paris recently. I know that it's hardly comparable - my drama is personal and the Paris attacks were miles away - but being a European and living in a place where the country boarders are open is a little scary. I'm not suggesting that it would happen in Holland, but you can never tell, and it seemed far too easy for an attack like that to be organised! It's also not something that I can deal with, there is nothing that I can do about it and so I have to just get on with life... Thus I am left to deal with my own personal drama instead... Whoop-di-fricken-doo... I hate confrontation, and now I have to handle something with a very argumentative person. I am REALLY not looking forward to this...

So for now I am enjoying the calm before the storm, the peace before the war and I guess you could say the sanctity of my own mind before all Hell breaks loose! I'm not sure I will ever be ready for this, but today is the day I start to open my mind to the person causing the drama... Hold onto your hat Rudh Dolly, it's going to be a bumpy ride!!
I decided to take a walk to clear my head, and found that the blustery location of Hazardous is always good to clear the mind.
I picked up my friendly Ferret - a MishMish original for this month's Collabor88 - and put his warm little sweater on him before I headed out for my walk. It shows just how much my mind was distracted though, I mean the outfit from N-Uno - available now at Cosmopolitan - looks cute but it's not exactly warm hehe. Luckily a new friend of mine, Mr. Owl, caught up with me to bring me a lovely warm scarf - a lovely warm Moon Amore Cureless Scarf!
The photo that came out seems to reflect the way I feel... A little gloomy, and somewhat pessimistic, but with some lovely friends who will help me out and make me feel better... I just wish that this was over already!

Make it Red!

Today I am in the mood for being a little naughty... Things have become tense again in Rudhland - or perhaps that should be Gatorland - and walking on eggshells is slowly driving me nuts. I feel a little like I am precariously balanced on the edge of a cliff and at any moment I will fall to the rocks below. It's not a nice feeling, especially when I am having to juggle HellBone too so that he doesn't do the same...
So rather than wait for the fall, today I plan on partying like a rock star - or perhaps when you look at the photo I've chosen to share today I'm more like the hot groupie that the rock star had fun with hehe - the outfit made me feel hot and the boots were a bonus but putting that crop in my hand, it was a bound to be a good time! Make it red, is all I can say!

First though let's talk location... I fell in love with this stage as soon as I saw it, and I was a little naughty in using it as I'm sure it's probably for dancers only! I apologise to the owners and staff of The Velvet Lion Club for being so naughty as to climb up on the stage, but wanted to make sure that the ladies out there knew that this place looks to be a very sexy entertainment location of the male stripper variety! I can't promise as the shows only seem to start at 6PM SLT, which is way too late for me, BUT when a venue looks this good then I am sure the staff have to dazzle even more!! 
The outfit, the reason I got all excited and needed to find a location for a photo, was made up of an awesome top, the smallest pair of leather shorts and some seriously sexy boots... Now both the boots - BAX Regency - and the shorts - Razor Vas Micro Shorts - are not new to me, they are key pieces in my hoard that I pull on again and again, but the top, that's something I HAD to have... It's a Dead Dollz original called Morrigan... The front is designed to look like a ribcage, while the back is a spine, all tied from ribbons! Simply gorgeous!!! The addition of the crop from elymode and those sore red marks from Ama rounded the look off and gave me that feeling of happiness! 
Funny the things that make me happy right? Now all I have to hope is that one day I could perhaps catch the strippers hehe...

Feels good being able to get back into the swing of normality after my Dad came to visit in RL... Now it's back to my regularly scheduled programming of sitting in the office - with not a lot to do besides talking to you and shopping on Ebay!
Talking of shopping, you go away for a weekend and DAMN you have a lot of Shopping in SL to catch up on. Not that I am complaining but there seems to be so many events going on that this poor little Dead girl has to have HellBone keep tabs on her spending LOL... It's not fair, this time of year is geared towards looking dead and creepy lol...
I wonder, could I perhaps perfect that art of Alchemy?! I have some of those old spell books left by ancestors in the coffin under the tree?!

These old books make it sound so easy, but I have never been a very good cook and some of the ingredients do not sound very appetising! Things like Eye of Newt and Devil's Toenails LOL...
Luckily I had everything I needed to work on the spell from the old Manual of Cartomancy Occult Books, written on Paper Moon parchment, that were left in those coffins by my ancestors! Sometimes it pays to hold onto all of grannies things! I mean this Soy cabinet was filled with all of those things, all of those Essentials of Witchcraft.
The traditional witchcrafting style is a life forgotten, now days I am a modern witch... I use convenience spells that you can warm up in the microwave and I dress in a way that would make my grannie witch faint... I do love this outfit though... The spiderweb looking parts - the top and the tights - are from [ abrasive ] at this round of Suicide Dollz - just a note here the round will change in 3 days!!! The skirt is an older one from Mesh Head, but once again it is the accessories that I have been playing with most hehe... I have a bracelet from ShiZZo, which you can grab at GEN-Neutral, a Bone Chain Necklace from Neverwish, that can be grabbed after completing the adventure in The Nightmare, and a Ouija Necklace from Poisoned Diamond at Pastel Goth. You know me I love to combine my accessories hehe...
I need this spell to work, I need to get some money together I want to get into Pastel Goth and buy some stuff LOL... Work dammit work!!
