So today I'm having a lazy day with my family, that's right I'm still in the UK and won't be home for a few days to come yet. Things will be slowing down with my blog right now, I have two posts ready to go then I'm afraid you will need to wait until I'm back home again hehe... Not that that's very long now, I'll be home again on Monday!
Today though because I'm having a lazy day I have something that I'd taken pictures of a long time ago that I'm going to share... Lazy I know but the things in it are so cute how can I not resist sharing it?!
I love making outfits that are kinda kooky cute, and this is no exception to that. It's not something that I needed to blog - pose aside perhaps which is a pose from -Extra- - but I just loved the outfit and wanted to share it with everyone.
It seemed a bit kooky cute in a possible fashionista kinda way, which is why I am in a tailor's workshop, but I just love the entire look I have going on here... I've said that more than once in this post and I will no doubt say it again but YAY I LOOK ADORABLE!!
I teamed a gorgeous Dreamy Fall Dress - from fashionably dead - in this rich forest silk, with some cute Polka Tights - from The Secret Store - to give it that kinda quirky look. Then accessorized my hair and face with a Navy + Copper Wig - called Lungo - and some over-sized Zombie Suicide glasses!
Is it just me, or is this cute?? Does anyone actually agree with me or do you think I look weird?? LOL...

I'm still not doing very well, and I'm fed up of not working... I need something to bide my time and that seems to be a LOT of shopping. I'm shopping A LOT in SL, but I'm having to be very careful. My RL Birthday is coming up - less than a week now - but I'm not allowed to buy too much as people are telling me I have to let them know things I want as gifts LOL... It's hard for a shoppaholic to window shop...
Luckily I was doing some exploring and found the most gorgeous, photographer's dream sim. A little place called Windhaven. If you haven't been there yet, you need to check it out. I spent ages playing around, taking pictures and plan to go back more too...
It was whilst exploring the sim that I found this little boutique, and well the pictures just had to be taken, showing off a look-of-the-day as I "window shopped". There's nothing here for sale really, but it's just such a cute photography background, and it was cute to show off my outfit.

It's nearly Christmas and that means there is very few shopping days left till Christmas, there's also something exciting about to happen, in that in the next few days I get myself a NEW COMPUTER... This will mean that I GET SHADOWS and I'm super excited! For now though, I'm getting myself my Christmas presents sorted, before our family Christmas party!
Wandering around The Old Christmas Village, you can see I've been shopping and bought lots and lots of lovely Christmas goodies for the family! I work in retail in RL, and believe me although it's a cheese shop this time of year is getting more than a little crazy. Apparently there are lots and lots of people that want to give cheese as a gift, and well... Today was absolute madness in the store!! I want to run away, I want to go find somewhere quiet where people won't bug me and hide until after Christmas...
Somewhere like Rudh has discovered, it looks like a peaceful recluse of a location in Tuscany or something. She's found a place that curling up with a good book and a freshly brewed cup of coffee seems like a really plausible thing! She's going to look glamorous as she does it too, like a Hollywood Celebrity on a quiet winter sun holiday, at La Frontera.
Her outfit is just too cute though, maybe we will call this a bit of a look-of-the-day, it's not something usual for Rudh but I fell in love with the way it looked together and well... TADA!!!!
It's an outfit made up of the gorgeous top from the Venus Frills outfit by MuggleBorn. This outfit comes with the top, sleeve ruffles and a teeny little skirt too, but in place of the skirt I decided to pair the top with a Hana Mini Skirt from The Secret Store in a crazy fun cacti print!

Unlike the run up to Halloween, I find myself having a bit of a Christmas overkill at the moment. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Christmas, but it's every where and it's coming VERY VERY fast, and I guess well I'm much more of a Halloween person than a Christmas one... So I find myself needing to stop thinking about Christmas for a while, so that I can focus on other things...
Today is one of those days, the Gators MC are setting up for their Winter Christmas formal this weekend, so everything there is Christmas all the time, but right now I NEED to do something weird and kookie for my own mental health lol...
I bought a pair of shoes, something in the style that I'd never normally even look at, and in a colour I down own a lot of shoes in, and my first thought was "why did I do that?" Then I looked at them a little more closely, an d soon the outfit just fell into place. It was nothing new besides the NX-Nardcotix shoes, just a cute dress from LiViD with some polka dot tights from The Secret Store and a hat - and hairstyle - from Truth.
It was however the location at Mystical Fae Forest in combination with this Fame Monster Pose - from {NANTRA} - that brought this, what could be a called a Look-of-the-Day to life!

It leads to some funny dreams... I mean OK I am not sleeping properly due to the coughing but last night I had a dream that I was dressed in a Minnie Mouse Suit, working at Disneyland... It was a great dream until I somehow ended up being a GIANT Minnie Mouse that was stomping things... MINNIE SMASH!
Feeling kinda out of it when I woke up this morning, I decided that I'd pay homage to my dream hehe...
OK OK So in my homage I am not dressed exactly like Minnie Mouse, and I am not terrorising the real Disneyland but it's all close enough...
The buildings are actually within DRD's store as a display in miniature of one of their street scenes which you could have as a full size scene! It looks close enough that it could be Disney something anyway hehe...
The outfit was one that came about because of the Mouse accents... Created by the minds behind DirtyLand... It was DirtyLand that created these amazing Urban Mini Ears, and the Minnie Knee Guards, as well as the face strap and cigarette's armband that I am wearing here... The rest of the outfit was just set dressing as it were...
Maybe I should try to have a nap... MINNIE SMASH!!!!!! I wanna see where this one goes hehe...

Thanksgiving is over, the Black Friday sales too, but having had no part in the former I can honestly say that I have grossly gorged myself on the latter. I might have missed the HUGE family dinner for Thanksgiving, but wow did I shop in the Black Friday Sales... Valentina E, Dead Dollz and Spirit were raided thoroughly lol... Now I need some time for pensive reflection, I think...
Going to do that with a look-of-the-day and a chance to breathe at the Angel Manor Gardens... Things have been so crazy in my SL and in fact in RL too that I haven't really had a chance for escape in either life. My SL Mum and I are no more, I found out the hard way and learnt too much about the things she thought of me and some of the people we called family. I learnt the hard way, once again, that people seem to be less than willing to take heed of their own actions and are far too quick to blame others for things without taking the time to look in the mirror at themselves... Once again, I'm feeling a kind of bereavement but on this occasion, rather than anger I feel pity and hope that these people will realise the error of their ways before things get too late! I doubt that she will read this, I don't think she ever did, but in case she does, I want to thank her for the good times, thank her for the times she was there when I needed her and I guess, beg her to get some professional help before she loses everyone she holds dear!
As for my look-of-the-day - something I never thought I'd end up doing but seem to be working on much more frequently now - I pulled some old but still adorable and accessible things from my hoard whilst on a clean-up and thought why not share the look with you!!
The hat is part of the Truth Foxy hair, and it's just so cute that I couldn't resist this wig. It's my nod to the whimsical, along with the cute yellow Dolly Shorts - from Foxes, yes I know that wasn't an intentional link but funny that hehe! I toned down the cute with a simple sweater from Atomic and then ramped it back up again by adding these adorable Polka Dot Tights from The Secret Store. Accessorising simply with one of my HAD TO HAVE collections from (Nylon Outfitters), the yellow Garden Locket!
For now though I'm done talking, I think I am going to wrap myself up warm and go for a walk somewhere Autumnal before it becomes to Winterfied here...

As soon as I saw this dress I thought of Grease, and as soon as I'd chosen the location in which to blog this dress I thought of Grease... I KNOW this is bad of me, as the rockabilly look is MUCH MUCH MUCH more interesting than the movies, but it's not much of a style that I have a lot to do with so it baffles me a little bit...
Yet when I was sent one of the newer releases from The Untitled I simply had to get my Grease on hehe...
At the Retroville diner, the waitresses roll around on Secret Store skates, and dress in the latest fashions...
The dress, as I have mentioned, is a newish release from The Untitled... The Date Night dresses are available in a range of different colours, but I just LOVED the blue and it's varying shades of blue dots! Plus it just looked SO perfect as the uniform for this waitress in the diner hehe...
If you love that Rockabilly look then you should definitely check The Untitled... It's filled with gorgeous like this... DON'T MISS OUT!!!

Yesterday an email was sent around to everyone in the office I work in for my RL job... The email stated very clearly that "Photocopiers are fragile and are NOT to be used for sitting on. The Glass is VERY Fragile!" It of course spread like Chinese Whispers through the office that at the party on Friday - because the company I work for has a party every Friday evening at the end of the work day - someone had been drunk and photocopied body parts OR there had been one of the office affairs that seem to be rife here these days!
I will have to say it made everyone giggle so much that the office manager - who was born without a sense of humour - suggested that we were all a bunch of children and removed the sign.
My look of the day was PERFECT to fit the office theme, so I HAD to make use of the laugh. I searched high and low for an office in SL, when I found one it had a photocopier LOL, I couldn't resist!
I cannot disclose the location of this office, suffice to say it's not somewhere I should have been without an appointment hehe...
So it is my office attire that I will be sharing as my look of the day hehe... I just LOVE this outfit and it was one that I randomly threw together...
I had found this skirt during a hunt over Christmas from The Secret Store - it's called Annette Peplum - I just love that vibrant red colour with the polka dots, and so I accessorised it with some gorgeous high red Louisa Heels from HOLLYHOOD. Then rather than dressing it up, I added a very casual sweater to the look from Corvus. The slogan of "Good Morning, Blah, Blah, Blah, Now leave me alone" emblazoned across my chest really does summon up how I feel sometimes, not only at my job in RL but also sometimes the way I feel in SL too LOL...
I wonder who broke the photocopier at work, I wonder if anyone would be shocked if they caught me photocopying my butt in SL... Someone guard the door... I'm gonna do it!!!
