Exploring the Shadows

I looked back through my ramblings this morning to see what I've done, what I've learnt and how far I've come in my SL during the past few months and boy do I seem to have a million different personalities. My mind seems to be all over the place, but there are so many weird and wonderful characters that I simply couldn't pick a favourite! 
Though one thing was missing with all of these characters, and SOMEHOW - though please don't ask me how - I managed to get it back!! MY SHADOWS ARE WORKING AGAIN YAY!!!!!

I decided to go for a walk at the amazing Woodbury Falls with my shadow, through the dark and scary dead place... Not the best place to walk in the fading light of day, but I wasn't alone I had my shadow with me, and trust me you will be seeing my shadow a LOT more over the next few months! 
While I have that as my most exciting piece of news, I cannot forget to share with you a new release that I was wearing in this picture too...
These jeans are that exciting thing! A brand new release from Nightmare for the Depraved Nation Thrift Shop 15, these are the Eire Jeans in Lace! Don't like them in Lace, no problem they are available in 4 different designs but they are all AWESOME. Look good on any bottom and very cute too! Shelter from the Heat

The weather is warming back up in Holland... Apparently we are heading for some scorchingly hot weather, and although I don't mind the sunshine, it's not something I am really looking forward to!! Big Girls and Warm Weather don't really mix... Yet there is something about the sunshine that makes everything seem that much more smiley and smiley is a good thing!
I'm in a very happy mood - despite the fact that I am already stuck in the hellhole office that I work in - purely and simply because I just saw an email from my favourite bookstore in Amsterdam telling me they are having a "Books by Weight" sale again in just over a week!! Giddy with excitement I am, just giddy...
For now though to avoid the heat, and to work on my plan to beat the crowds at the sale, I'm going to hide and be devious!!!

The Bunker I'm using to hide in is actually not mine, it's Jack's - Jack's Bunker made by Consignment I should add - and in my defence I had to use his rather than mine as mine is stuffed full of shoes and clothes and all that kinda good stuff! Don't worry though I won't get lonely in here while I wait, I was greeted by Jack's Curious Kitten - from Jian!
I love my hiding in the bunker from the heat outfit too... A very very adorable Lace Up Wool Sweater in a Midnight Blue colour from TETRA, and a pair of Niomei Shorts that you can grab at the SAKIDE booth in the Depraved Nation Thrift Shop, with some awesome Nordic Boots from REIGN because you really don't want to be barefoot in this bunker!
Don't look at me though, I'm trying hard not to cry as I skinned my knees falling down the ladder... Don't look at me!!

I was just trying it on...

Hehe well this is embarrassing... No one was meant to see me testing out what it would feel like to wear a halo... Ooops! I had to prop it up on my little horns so that I could see it, and the thing wouldn't stay on... It's almost like I'm not meant to wear a halo or be angelic!!! But hey, when someone leaves a Halo laying around, you can't help yourself but see how it would look right?! 

The halo and horns actually come as a set from ShiZZo - the super cute accessories store that is owned by one half of the awesome Signature Pose team, Shilenni - and you too can pick up a halo that is just laying around at GEN:Neutral until June 2nd. 
While I'm showing off the new horns that I got, I should also mention a few other things... Things like these adorable face piercings from The Horror! - which come in light and dark versions and a range of colours for each set - or the nose piercing that I picked up at Bokeh... I mean I know padlocks are not meant to go through the nose but it just looked so cute!!! My collar says it all... The Kibitz Leather Collars say it like it is, and I think I have the right one for me too! 
For now though maybe I should just put the halo back and hope that I don't get into trouble for trying it on LOL...

Nothing's Changed!

Getting back to normality has been hard, hence why I am still talking about it I guess, but there have been a few things that have helped to make it a little easier! As soon as I logged into SL and was able to catch up on the shopping that I'd missed and the blogger boxes that I had been sent, it felt better, but it was being back around the people that I'd left behind when I went on holiday that made things feel much more like a proper home coming! Being able to chat with my bestie, and then having the MC there was just like going from my RL family, back to my SL one, which did help to ease the homesickness a little... 

Then Mongo came online... It was like being back with a giant teddy bear... One that enjoyed the simple things in SL, like playing with his toy car on my teeny mountain butt!
YES I KNOW, it's a Come Soon Pose - called "Vruuuumm" - which you can get your hands on at the Depraved Nation Thrift Store until May 28th, but it's definitely one of the most realistic sorts of poses that I've used Mongo as a model for LOL... I mean the sexy ones are great, but this is more like how things truly are at the Gators LOL...
Least I can say for sure that although I've been away, it looks like nothing much has changed hehe...

Unpacking can be Stinky!

We just got home from our holiday to visit my family in the UK and although weary from the travelling, I am finding myself busy with unpacking as RL kicks in and takes over again tomorrow... 
One of the worst things about going away is the unpacking... I hate having to open a suitcase after it's been closed for a good few hours, and find everything smelling of stinky stuffs... 

Rudh totally agrees with me, as you can tell... Packing anything and then coming home always smells, but she's made the right decision to unpack her dirty laundry in Hell's Secret "Doody Man" Hideout... No one would notice the extra smell... Perhaps a gas mask might have been more helpful for her though...

Transform me into a Dragon

Gacha machines are like Pringles - once you pop, you can't stop - especially when the items contained within are something that you REALLY  - REALLYYYYYYYYY - want... Normally I try to restrain myself, knowing that I can find things at the yardsales, but when something is in a Gacha Machine that is an Ultra Rare, and I really need to have it, well... Let's put it this way Rudhie went a little "Gimme Gimme Gimme" Gacha Crazy...
You can't blame me, blame CURELESS if you have to blame someone LOL...
My original family in SecondLife was made up of many mythical beings - kitties, fae, witches and even the odd vampire or two - but there was a predominance of Dragons. I was the pet and girlfriend of one, and sister of another, although it took one Ultra Rare Dragon to force the transformation on me...

Isn't he gorgeous?! He lured me over to the Forest of Dreams "TELRUNYA" and high in the ruins, my transformation began... My hands and feet began to tingle as the clawed dragon parts forced their way through my human skin, which peeled by like a knife slicing through butter to reveal the dark green scales I've always been concealing!

It's time for Cupid's Demise!

The air has gone all mushy, romance is everywhere and it's beginning to smell a bit sickly sweet...
Don't get me wrong I LOVE a bit of romance, and the feeling of being loved and happy, but I am one of those people that agrees it shouldn't only be something we think of once a year, this should be an everyday feeling.
Though this time every year, everything goes all pink and hearty and I'm a bit like "ARGHHHHHHHH"... Sometimes a girl has to go on a hunt... A hunt for a little baby with wings and a hobby that involves shooting arrows...

Yes that's right Cupid, I am coming for you!!! I have planned everything carefully, and the above is an image of what the outcome will look like for you hehe... Cupid's Demise - a pose from Image Essentials for the Thrift Shop - is the perfect way to show you the outcome of my evil plan.
While on the subject of the Depraved Nation Thrift Shop though, I should perhaps mention this cute outfit I am wearing. Comprising of the top and skirt, the adoness "Anteros" outfit is available in 6 different colours at the event, and each has the same adorable little details of the ruffles and the laced up sleeves!

Naughty Little Rudh Pony

Ever get that desire to be a bad girl? Sometimes I need to do something that is a little on the risqué side to get myself feeling happy again... Nothing like doing something that might get you in trouble to get the blood pumping! Not that I'd be able to do things like I do in SL in RL... 
I mean for example, I went completely naked in a public - although Adult - location in SL yesterday, wearing nothing but a cute little pony look hehe... 
I'm a Rudh Little Pony... A Rudhish Twist on the cute cartoon hehe... A non-PG version hehe... 

LOL this naughty little Rudh Pony went to play at a place called Frolic Farm, a place with an adult rating and possibly a love of ponies... 
The Pony look came about because of a couple of items that I received as a blogger recently... It's funny it was almost like a collaboration of ideas, though I don't think this is the case but I may be wrong. The hooves are a release from (Poisoned Diamond) for this latest line-up of the Thrift Shop. They come in clean and dirty versions too, so are you a pony that plays in the mud or just a good little one that frolics in a field?! Then of course we have the tail... This is actually a bit of a naughty toy... It's a Pony Play Butt Plug in Pink - although they come in a range of colours and shades including rare rainbow versions - from The Horror at the new event that is Objets D'Amour... 
Of course there are other trappings of this naughty little Pony's special outfit - signs of her owned nature in the form of the Forge Slave Cuffs and Kibitz Heart Collar that are both draped around her neck - but while I was taking this photo there was definitely a feeling of freedom... The people on the sim paid me no attention and I just pulled my dress off and sat taking pictures hehe, I have to admit that I really enjoyed it...

It's not all Junk...

I'm at work and I have nothing to do, but right now I dont want to draw attention to the fact... I'd rather sit here and talk to you for an hour than deal with anything work related... Heck roll on time to go home hehe...
But what to talk about...
OH I KNOW... Have you guys ever heard of a store called Poisoned Diamond? Well I hadn't until a few days ago when I spotted an add on Flickr in which they were looking for bloggers. I loved the name of the store so I had to check them out on the marketplace... DAMN THE STORE IS STUFFED WITH CUTE AND ECCENTRIC RUDHISH STUFF!!!

This jeans skirt is an example of the quality that Poisoned Diamond offers, and OK the front seam looks a little stretched in the photo but that's more due to the pose than the skirt. I can tell you that in the future though there will be lots more of this store's designs decorating my rambling space in the near future.
As you can see I dressed it to show it off in true Rudhish style, the skirt looks awesome with my favourite pair of HollyHood boots, as well as the plain bikini top from SAKIDE - part of the Insolent Tops Set - and the Chain Mail Vest Top from The Forge!
Anyway, once I was dressed I decided that I would take the time to explore somewhere I'd heard a lot about and not been to yet... If you haven't been to Junk, it's not just junk... it's awesome! You should check it out!!! There are lots of interesting little things to see and I'm now having to scour the marketplace for them hehe... So-fa, So good!

It's Monday Morning, just before 8am, and I'm in the office already. I'm sleepy and don't feel like doing ANYTHING today... Work can just leave me alone and in SL. I've said it before and I will say it again, the best anyone might get outta me is a photograph LOL, otherwise no disturbances at all please...
Though on the subject of pictures, it amazes me that I can open my blog up and have the perfect photo ready to show off my mood, even though I take pictures days - or sometimes even longer - in advance... Today is one of those times!
It's the perfect picture to say UGH can it be Friday again please! Not to mention a great picture to show off some adorable creations...

This sofa will definitely be the perfect place to read a book, although the setting I've dumped it in isn't really very relaxing! The dirty looking caravan at The McFly Project just seemed to make me giggle as a backdrop for taking pictures of this Sofa. The Sofa is a new Radial Chester Sofa that you can grab yourself from Consignment for Collabor88 this month.
I just loved the contrast of the uber chic leather sofa with the dirty settings and my cute biker girl outfit.
This biker outfit fell together like a bit of an oopsie that ended on an ooooh I Like that... The top is one from Paper Moon, that's available at the Depraved Nation Thrift Shop, The Jeans I wore are a pair of my new addiction store - SPIRIT - I love this brand so much, looked fab with a pair of laced up heels from EMPORIUM, although they looked a little out of place on the sofa, perhaps?!

Sunday, Chore Day... Carwashing Time!

The weekend is always a time for getting chores done, and this weekend for me in RL was no exception... My mother was thinking about coming for a RL visit - something that I will always refer to as a Royal Visit - so my house and everything in it has to be spotless... Even the dog will be getting a bath, little does she know it yet!
In SL I couldn't escape the cleaning though either... One of my closest friends asked me to help him out by washing his car... Little did I know he'd be sat with a cold beer watching whilst I cleaned the entire car LOL...

OK so that's not entirely how it played out lol but it's the way it looks in the photos and well, you know me I like to tell a good story too!!
One of my closest friends, Mongo, has been building cars again recently and they are very cute cars. He's not officially starting to sell them yet, but when he subtly hinted at would I like to take some pictures with one I couldn't really say no! Lil Bastid is too cute to say no to LOL...
PLUS I'd just been sent the perfect poses from Image Essentials for the job... They came with a different car to pose on, but as with all of the awesome poses from Image Essentials you can take them from the object and use them seperately! I LOVE YOU for doing this Kay, it's such a brilliant idea! You can get yourself these poses and a car - if you're lucky - from The Depraved Nation Thrift Shop!
My outfit was something that I kinda threw together and even though Mongo wasn't with me while I was shooting the pictures, there were definitely no complaints about my choice of outfit LOL... The shorts were my old, go-to denim shorts from SAKIDE, but the top was brand new. It's a wet t-shirt from Miss Canning, which is great as it includes various different colours of skin through the wet top PLUS waters in various colours LOL... Then when teamed with a pair of the Valeria Heels from Bens Boutique it was PERFECT...
Damn good for giving a show, as the collage of photos I've made shows, and well only Mongo has the fullsize set LOL!!! He was talking about using me as an incentive to get people to buy his cars... Buy two get Rudh free kinda deal?! Wonder how Hell will take that LOL...

The ImmateriAl killing of Superman!

More dress up times, more crazy outfits, and wow the chance to "kill" my SL son... It feels like Christmas already hehe... It's not, it's because I was sent an outfit and my brain went on a crazy roller coaster of 'oh that would be cool' then before I knew it I'd dragged Athrun along with me LOL... 
It started with the arrival of an outfit in my greedy little bloggers hands, and that was all it took for me to come up with something bonkers... It wasn't my fault that as soon as I saw the green gemstone like formations all over the dress I could only think of one thing... KILLING SUPERMAN!!!! 

We kept the whole Superman thing subtle, you can see it if you know to look for it, but Ath went for a whole modern and younger Clark Kent version of the man in blue, than the one that wore tights LOL... At Wasteland Motors, in the Junkyard, we found the perfect setting for our Superhero and his nemesis fight... That would be me by the way, I am a new Superman arch villain called Kryptonia LOL... 
The outfit is in fact the entire reason I chose to kill my Super Son... It's made up of a few things... Firstly the skin... This is one of the new Nophia Skins in a juniper colour from Stargazer Creations for the Depraved Nation Thrift Store. It comes in a variety of starry tones, but the green was PERFECT with my old Alice Project hair!
The main reason for the photo though was this outfit, more the dress than the body suit it comes with - a halo is also included but it just wasn't working with my HUGE hair LOL - is the ImmateriA Trionium Outfit. This will be available soon in a variety of colours at The Alchemy, but as soon as I saw the green one I was somehow inspired to kill Superman... 
Luckily Athy wanted to play along, it could have gotten very messy otherwise!!!

Swinging through my dreams

This morning I feel like I am wandering through a dream... It feels like a very vivid dream but at the same time I don't feel like I am actually awake whilst doing the normal everyday things... It's such a strange feeling... I even tried to use my work key card - the thing I use to operate the doors in my work office - to try to check out of the bus!
So the photo that I have chosen to talk about - although I keep reading this OVER AND OVER because I forget what I am saying so fast lol - is one that kinda fits with the dreamy feeling that I have today... It's a totally different picture than I would normally make because it is very feminine, there's a lack of blood, no gore and I'm wearing pastels with floral print...

Thinking about it there must be something a little strange going on, I wonder, perhaps I have been possessed or something?!
Anyway, I would LOVE to be sitting right here right now in RL, just as much as in SL... Gazing at the clouds, surrounded by the pretty scent of cherry blossoms, watching the branches sway in a gentle breeze and every-so-often if the mood hit me I'd swing my legs to get the seat moving just a little... It sounds like a little slice of heaven, doesn't it? All I need now is a sexy - and perhaps dark - angel to push my swing, and maybe a cup of tea LOL... I am so Rock'N'Roll... LOL...
The swing itself is a pose prop from Signature Pose - called Spring's Swing - although it has been released at an event I've never heard of called Le Petit Faire... It includes a number of different poses, including some for couples, so I would be lucky if the hot Angel boy did appear, then he'd be able to push me at least LOL...
I'm wearing a variation on a dress that I have been wearing a lot recently too... The SAKIDE Bloom dress, is a variation on the Dip Dress that I wore in a recent post about bubbles hehe... I just felt really drawn to these dresses and have been wearing them so much recently, even though they are not my usual style!

Bubbles and Statues gave me my Mojo...

Sometimes I find that taking pictures and blogging as a whole is hard work... I've come to realise just how hard in the past few days as I have found myself running out of blogging juice and losing my mojo somewhat... I've been tired, lashing out and getting more and more frustrated... So I took a few days away from SL to be in RL... 
When I came back my mind was ready to start taking pictures again and it's lucky because the new round of The Witching Hour is now underway!!! There are some really cool items to share with you this month... But first I was playing around with a couple of new props... Something brilliant happened!?!

It was strange how it all came together, but now I will say that this has to be one of my recent favourite photos... 
Basically, my sister and good friend Lil passed me some new textures to use as photography backdrops... I LOVE the grunge brick look and it was just awesome to see my shadow against them lol, but then things started to just seem to come together as I was looking at what I had to play with hehe... The Statue is a new release from Paper Moon - in collaboration with The Muses - that are available at the latest Fantasy Gacha Carnival. This is the rare example, but they come in a few different poses and only the rare has the veil! For some reason though, and I have NO IDEA WHY, but I thought CRAP I need BUBBLES! Maybe it was because I saw the awesome {anc} bubbles in my hoard waiting to be played with, and trust me this isn't the last time you will see me and bubbles, but it just seemed to kinda sorta work! 
I love that I have taken the photo of me from the back too... It is one of those things that always makes me think, what is she thinking? What is she looking at? Why is she not posing properly? PLUS in this case it shows off so well the décor on the heels of my shoes. These shoes are the reason I mentioned The Witching Hour... As a rare colour release, in the AfterMath Creations machine, these are just GORGEOUS!! Who doesn't love snaky shoes, even though I will admit I never normally wear pointed toes! 
The only other thing that I really want to give an honourable mention to here is this adorable dress... It comes from SAKIDE - but you will need to venture into the Depraved Nation Thrift Shop to get one - and you can buy it in the light version seen here, or in dark or floral designs - which no doubt you will see later hehe... 
Anyway enough rambling but can you tell I am happy with this one? Looks like I got my mojo back huh?? Hehe...

The End of the World as we Know It...

I'd seen a place in SL on other Blog and Flickr posts that I wanted to explore... Sometimes that happens, especially when you see some of the inspirational photos that other people take of places they visit... It's one of the things I love about Flickr, you can see where people are visiting and often find places that you'd never normally come across, all because you scrolled down through a list of photos! 
This for me was one of those places... A place called The End of the World as we Know It... How can you resist, I'd love to know what that would look like - someone's interpretation of that anyway... It's BRILLIANT! A great apocalyptic background for any budding photographer, and an interesting place to check out for those explorers amongst us! 

Of course the End of the World does require a Kick-Ass outfit!!! Although I cannot work out what possessed me to wear both blond hair and heels at the End of the World, but hey maybe it would work as a disguise and I do look kinda fierce!?!
The outfit, with it's matching bracers, is a set that you need to go get at the Alchemy event. There are lots of pretty things available there, but for this one you need to check the ImmateriA stand - just sayin' hehe... Available in three different colours, this look is one that resonates all of the usual great things about ImmateriA, from design to colour to textures used... It's a very worthwhile set to check out!
I wore it with some barely there, chained spike heels from AZOURY - perfect choice for running from chaos I know LOL - a slightly bloody Kaneki Mask - from Obscure at The Dark Style Fair 2 - will keep any poisonous gasses at bay and anything else that I could potentially need I had stuffed into my favourite new bag from Nefarious Inventions... I was set to escape... I just wish that I'd put better shoes on LOL...

OK so I mangled the nursery rhyme just a - well a lot - but it fitted so well with the feeling of my photo that I couldn't resist. The backdrop of the photo was the entire reason I managled the nursery rhyme but I will blame it on the store that I am wearing a LOT of my outfit from today - SongBird - as it was their home location which provided the woods to pose in hehe...
The outfit, in fact a lot of this look, can be grabbed at the store that is SongBird, although you may not find all of it at the main store as yet. The Outfit is called Blood Doll - it's a new release that you can pick up at a new event called The Vampire Chronicles Event - and you can get it with or without blood. Actually, while I am thinking about the new event, you can also grab yourself the bite mark - from SongBird - at the same event. I also have SongBird socks on... The Five Pointed Stockings were a past event release but they were just too good not to wear with this outfit!
As per usual I went to town accessorising the look I had put together, from the crazy Carnivorous Jaw - created by Contraption that is one of my FAVOURITE items in my hoard - to the three necklaces - available top to bottom at Tabou Irresistible, 7mad;Ravens and [Fetch] - and even remembering that if the teeth weren't enough to scare you in the forest, then maybe an Axe might come in handy...

Just remember, if you go down to the woods today, you have been warned AND avoid people that will smile at you...
