The Most Expensive Thing at the Museum!

Sometimes I get random ideas that start as one thing and end up in another, but as soon as I saw one of the items that was a special free gift for Valentines I couldn't resist the chance to do something silly with it... 
Valentine's is coming fast and furious, there is so much in the way of hearts and flowers and cute lovey dovey stuff, but buying Valentine's gifts can be trecherous and dangerous... For 2023, if you want something extremely special, something very expensive, and natural, maybe you need to look in the dairy aisle of the supermarket... 

2023's most expensive treasure, The Egg - a gift from Junk Food at Cupid Inc - would make a perfect "Engagement Egg"... 
Never know, in the future a specially preserved egg could end up in a glass case in the museum as the most valued posession of this year, alongside crown jewels and diamonds, and treasures throughout the ages.

Feet on Fire!

 Have you ever found yourself talking to your SL avatar like it's a different person, and you have conversations in your head? I know it sounds really weird but it's something that I do from time to time... 
Now I find myself doing that right now, I've decided to have a conversation with myself about how my feet feel like they are on fire... I've been standing all day and it feels like they are on fire... Rudh's reactionary response was a little different... 

When I told Rudh my feet were on fire, she said "Yes mine too!" 
I think she had herself a little confused, but then again she's a little demon and the fact that her boots are the fire. She's a hot little demon after all, and these shoes are the PERFECT boots to wear in the hot conditions... They are available from 1313 Mockingbird Lane, at Inithium Event...

What kind of Spell do you seek?

"I put a spell on you, and now you're MINE"... Such a brilliant song, originally by Screamin' Jay Hawkins, but with epic covers including the awesome Bette Midler in the even more awesome Hocus Pocus movie. It's one of those sentiments that still hold true, especially at this time of year with that pesky little angel baby getting ready to show the world his ass... 
This year though the anti-valentine that I so love to be, is ready to remedy any cupid-like mishaps... He may work magic, but I've got a spell or two of my own... 

For the right price any of cupid's spells can be overturned... I got voodoo, potions, and tarot at my disposal, with a book of shadows close to hand and the perfect dose of thirst quenching tears to wash it all down with... 
As this year's unofficial Anti-Valentine - heck I try to do it every year but this year I'm starting a little early maybe LOL - I'm decked out in the height of cool fashion... Everything from my Stomper Boots - from Psycho Barbie - perfect for kicking the little "angel's" tuschy, to the spare pair of killer Piper Heels to match my stockings and garter - from 1313 Mockingbird Lane at the current round of The Epiphany - are signs of my new self-given position... 
I will even smile as I wave you out the door... Look at my face, how can you resist the anti-valentine this year?!

Lollipops from the Nurse

I've actually been feeling pretty good... No headaches - though I'm knocking on wood as I say that - and I'm dancing... Things seem to be starting to get back to normal-ish, I mean the progress is still slow, but that doesn't mean we're out of the woods yet. I mean Europe may be opening but there's a lot of places in the world that are still locked up tight... Even the monsters out there in the dark and still being cautious, going to see the Living Dead Nurses in the Hospitals of Hell for a shot... 

The plus side, once you've been a good little monster and had a shot from the Vile Syringe - a !Reliquary! Item by the way - and if you're very lucky, the dead nurse will let you have one of her deviously delicious Lollipops - from the brilliant Spookshow - so long as you don't tell anyone that the tangy flavor is the cyanide they are laced with!

A Shrine to bring about Winter's End

While we're stuck at home, I decided to test my skills at something when it comes to taking pictures... I spend most of my time taking pretty pictures that involve myself in some form or another, and then rarely I try taking pictures of other people. Yet one thing I rarely, if ever, do is set up decorative shots that are without people... I've always felt a little nervous about it, and often swayed myself off of the idea... I decided to give it another shot right with some of the gorgeous Necrosis goodies... 

So while Necrosis is open, and it's theme is all about the Winter's End... I've been a good little dead doll and set up this adorable altar - made from a Outdoor Stone Shrine by Candle & Cauldron, and a Magic Fantasy Pentagram Shrine from Medieval Fantasy - to the spirits of Spring, decorating it with skulls and these amazing Momento Mori Skull Light Strings - from Angelic Designs for Necrosis. I hung a few Twig Charms, and erected a few Ofnusius Totems - both of which are from Lilith's Den at Necrosis - and as I started to walk away and let the shrine work it's magic, some of the magical beings of the forest came to explore their new devotional place... Maybe it will bring about the Winter's End?!

Adventures in the Pages of a Book

I've been saying for the past couple of days that I want to go on an adventure... I want to explore, and discover new things, but - and this is a rather important, big butt - as yet I'm being far too lazy in actually starting on my adventures. 
The biggest adventures I'm having at the moment is when I curl up in my comfy arm chair and let myself get lost in a book, preferably with a blanket and a cup of tea, if I'm really lucky... 

Getting lost in a book has always been one of my favourite past times, I love being able to lose myself in a world away from reality. Finding SL was a way to escape the reality, but even here sometimes I feel there is a need to escape! 
So I'm curled up with a book and watching the magic of the pages drag me away into another fantasy... The magical sparkles right from the page, and the monsters and fairies and dragons are here to guide me... 
Nothing is better than a day in your PJs, than a day in your PJs with a blankie, a cup of tea and a good book!!

Time to go away for a while...

I am SO tired, SO very tired... I think I'm about to hit rock bottom if I don't get some chance to sleep - I think a week should be enough time lol - HellBone and I are really needing time to stop with RL and do something totally different, we've been working too hard for too long!  Both of us on 50 hour weeks... It's draining! It's making us crazy... 

It's not very often I get HellBone to sit still for long, but when I told him he'd get a nice cosy straight jacket, he was more than willing! It was the perfect opportunity for us to let you know that we're going away for a week... Running to hide in RL at a place called "Mummy and Daddy's House"- I'm going to see my family in the UK and I cannot be more excited! Although I couldn't leave without sending one last picture into the world!! It had to be this one!! 
I wont be having anymore time to share more of the AMAZING stuff from the Eclipse Event, but's true, it's allowed me to enjoy the fact that "October Never Dies!" this month. There is a lot more that I haven't been able to share like the DRD Swamp House or the CerberusXing Flesh Outfit, but this last picture really showcases just how Hell and I are feeling!!! 
We took our crazed photo at the Ex Machina "Welcome Home Asylum" Photo Scene... This place is great there's the room you see here, a padded cell and the dark creepy corridor that connects the two!! I was in love when I saw the possibilities! 
While we were setting up, preparing to be locked away, we were joined by some cute - or not so cute - furry friends... I wondered is Hell could see them, these Skull Head Foxes - by Maru Kado - but if he did, he didn't say anything, and they seemed harmless in a devious way... So I let them stay!
I'll be gone a week... Don't miss me too much! You may still see me liking things on Flickr and chatting on Facebook, I snuck a cellphone into the cell, but otherwise, it's time to get some much needed rest!!!

The Travelling Doll Maker's Office

Sometimes even the Living Dead Dolls are in need of repair... They get dropped off with the Travelling Doll Maker and he repairs what is in need of mending... 
I think at the moment, today especially, I'm very sleepy and I doubt that he will be able to fix that but Rudh may be a little easier to mend. She looks to be missing some hands perhaps, and so she's laid out on the floor of the doll maker's office until he returns to help her out.... 

This idea formed in my head thanks to a collection of furniture and a gacha collection of doll parts... It doesn't ever take much to get a story flowing in my crazy weird brain LOL... 
The furniture is one that I have been contemplating playing with for a long while now but never quite knew what I wanted to do with it... It's a set from Fapple - released for this month's Men's Department - that is called The Traveler. The set includes bookshelves, desk, chair and rug, with a few other things that are not shown here... Then to add that extra doll makerish feeling to the picture I decided to use some of my new toys from this month's Epiphany... DISORDERLY created a Gacha Collection called Abandonment, and it's DOLL PARTS!!! 
Her joints seem a little bloody and her lips a little cracked - thanks to a new lipstick layer that's available from Ama at Cosmopolitan - but it seems that most important is a new set of eyes and hands are needed - I wonder where the old ones have gone? - they are currently masked by the blindfold from Maru Kado, and the stumps where her hands need to be replaced are protected by a pair of Maru Kado gloves - both of which are available at the soon to close Nightmare Event. 
Now I know that some of these things are a little difficult to see, so like a good blogger I'm including a close up too... 

I think it might look a bit better when there is a replacement to her body parts perhaps!?!
