Bonnie Chaos at Midnight

I'm at that stage now, where I don't know what to do but I don't really want to do anything... Yes it is apparently just me going through the grieving process but right now I feel somewhat useless and nothing I seem to try is working... I can't get into reading, knitting, decorating in RL or SL, and blogging therapy seems to be a non-starter too... There are so many fun things I could be doing... What am I doing? Doom-scrolling and staring into space... Everything I try seems to be going wrong!!

I NEED to find a way to turn my brain off, to stop myself from wallowing and yes, allow myself to grieve but allow myself to find strength and start finding my "normal" again... I'm dreading it!
Everything seems to be going wrong or turning to chaos and I'm NOT going to let myself drown in that... Think of the chaos that some people go through, real or imagined and things don't look so bad, I guess... 
I NEED a RL distraction for a bit... Something Dark, Mysterious and set in a Midnight Order perhaps... Something with gangsters and molls, something twisted and chaotic...

Be Proud and Love who you are!

It's June, and aside from the fact that Hair Fair is running to raise money for Wigs for Kids, it's Pride Month and therefore we have a lot more things to both celebrate and bring awareness to... Every year Pride is celebrated all over in Second Life, as well as in RL, and although it should be something we celebrate all day, every day, I dont see any harm in raising any extra awareness as often as we can... 

Pride is such an important thing. It's unfortunate that even these days, people face hatred and discrimination for the way they want to be and the people that they love, and seriously that is something that needs to stop. I admit that these days I am straight, happy and consider myself a straight ally, but I really believe that people should be allowed to love whoevery they want, and they should be allowed to live however they choose... So long as no one gets hurt, the world would be a much better place for it... 
Once again Pride@Home has opened its city streets and blasted the Second Life world with rainbow colours and patterns to match those of the LGBTQ+ community. There are sales events and music events, parties, contests, photography showcases and so much more, and they aren't the only ones running Pride events this month. 
It feels very much that the world needs a little more love right now... Love is Love, no matter what. Maybe if there was a little more love in the world, then it wold be a better place...

Money Can Be Spirited Away

So you may know that HellBone and I are currently living somewhere that's not home while our house is being rennovated... If you haven't I don't blame you for ignoring my ranting over the past few weeks LOL, but it's one of the bigger stresses of my life right now, and I'm rambling about it A LOT... Anyway, luckily in this process we're being assisted with government subsidies, and it's not a brag it's a moment of "thank god" because everything is SO FECKING EXPENSIVE... We had to go buy a new toilet today... DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THOSE THINGS COST?! I know that there are costs of manufacture and for the sales company, but they are getting things cost price and it seems the consumer is getting bit in the butthole... Is it greed or is it necessity these days?!

I know talking about money can sometimes seem crass... I'd never ask anyone about their income or share mine with the world for that matter but they always say that money makes the world go round. They also say that it doesn't make you happy, but at the same time that's not enitrely true is it... If you don't have enough to live on or with then you're more likely to be a stressed and unhappy person... It seems though that these days everything is SUPER expensive, and yes I get it's because of all of the war taking place and the cost of living has naturally increased but life gets more expensive by the minute! 
Even the spirits that guard the world's most secretive vaults are concerned... There seems to be an explosion and a drainage of captial here, there and everywhere... Our little Spirit Guide - ears and a tail set from HAZEL by the way - is concened because her soul key - which is actually the Dungeon Keys from [NoRush] that sit in her chest - are no longer needed by the powers that be... They can just raise prices so the people that need her keys are left to suffer...

Warning Signs in the Club Tonight!

I may have had the day off today but I've been a busy girl... I'm trying to keep myself occupied at the moment, living in this craphole of a flat... They even asked me if I'd be interested in covering shifts downstairs, and I KNOW the moment that they get me on their list that any time it's busy I WILL be called to come downstairs and help any time it's busy. No thank you, really... I don't want that at all... 
If I was going to take on another job it would be something totally different from the work I already do, aside from the fact that I am entertaining people as they buy cheese, I think I'd need to do something of a little different sort of entertainment?! 

When I first started Second Life, I like a lot of people started as a dancer and an escort. I read a LOT of smut and love it in lots of different forms. I was always a rather bad girl, until I settled down with my hubby that is captain vanilla and like a big teddybear... I love him, don't me wrong but I'm kinda dying to be a bad girl LOL... Maybe that's the new job I've got to start... Maybe I should go back to being an escort and let the bad girl run free... 
It's play time - as the signs on the toy shelves from Krescendo - state, and this club is known to get a little wild... While the money rains down, as I take a moment to sit comfortably - in a pose from piXit - and get a lot of attention just for eating one of the club's Naughty Waffles - from everfaery at this month's round of Lewd Station... It's true what some say, food kinks are the best paying kinks hehe... I will have to put up some signs to warn people about any wetness that may be present around the stage!!!

Jason Bearhees on Friday the 13th

It's Friday the 13th, the second one this year so far, and once again my hubby has decided that tonight he's going to scare the pants off me and make me watch another Jason Voorhees movie special. It's worse watching it here, I'm not in my normal home in the middle of a housing estate...Right now I'm in the middle of nowhere lol... 
I had to do something a little cuter to make this evening a little less scary... 

Luckily, one of the makers of the cutest things in Second Life has stepped in to help with that, and created a super special Friday the 13th group gift... Jason Bearhees - the current group gift from Tardfish - is a cute, cuddly, dancing version of our favourite slasher man... Yes he is armed with a rather large knife but his skills at slashing and slaying are much more suited to his killer dance moves... 
Rather than stalking people in the woods and making them jump, he's the kind of cutie killer that will lurk around the roots - a collection from Static, available at The Warehouse until March 18th - of the giant trees outside his Creepy Cabin - a backdrop from Bad Unicorn - and wait to dance until the sun rises...

Amsterdamse Pride!

After three long days back at work, I am finally home and have a day off tomorrow... Amsterdam is BUSY this week... It's not tulip season busy but it's busy and that's because of the fact that this weekend is Amsterdamse Pride weekend. 
Amsterdam is a city that is proud of hosting the Pride events, they run all week and finish on Saturday with a boat parade through the canals!  

This, of course, means the city is rainbowfied... It has brought in some of the most friendly, most fun and most vibrant types of people. I honestly LOVE this week in the city, people that come for Pride seem much happier than those that come any other time of the year. Of course, there are always exceptions, but generally, it's a lot more fun working in retail tourism right now... Does help that I'm close to the Pride epicenter, if you're wanting gay clubs and bars in Amsterdam it's well known that you gotta go to the Regulierdwarsstraat! 
So on my day off tomorrow, I'm going to go out into the city and help paint the town in rainbow stripes, meet some lovely people and give out a few hugs to those that need an ally in their life... Happy Amsterdam Pride everyone!

Forever Blowing Bubbles

I am chasing a sugar high, I've had a day off today and I'm feeling so sleepy that I think I've been just walking around only half awake... HellBone took me out in RL and we did a little bit of fun stuff, but I didn't find what I wanted and needed so it felt somewhat disappointing too... I need something sweet as a treat... 

I LOVE Candy... I love chocolate, but if I had to pick I would ALWAYS go for something gummy, not the marijuanna laced gummies, but just the chewy, often fruity and sweet kind. I like them sour and with the foamy bits too... These are my happy candies... 
When I was a teenager though I always had gum, bubble or regular, but I ALWAYS had some... I loved Hubba Bubba - or in the Second Life case the Slubblicious Gum from Junk Food, which comes in 6 different delicious flavours - it makes me feel all candilicious again... Like some bubble-pop sunshine pastel rainbow cutie!

Games When Pigs Fly...

 I've never been the kind of girl that was into Sports... I mean when I was at school I LOVED to ride around on a skateboard, and when the season was right I played a bit of Rugby, but other sports nuh-uh, and as I've gotten older it's only gotten less and less interesting for me... I don't watch it on TV, I don't like books with sports and I'm definitely not participating... As I always say, I don't even run for the Ice Cream man, why would I do it for fun... Sometimes though, I do wonder... 

I know people get SO excited about certain sporting events every year, there are some that seem more pointless to me than others I mean don't get me started about watching the Formula 1 lol, but I get bored at the thought of many of these things... Tennis being one of the worst. Golf would be boring, but least then it's a walk outside, Tennis is just a big NOPE...

Getting Dirty

It's been a busy few days since I've been back in the Netherlands but that may be because I've been back at work and it's been crazy busy... The high season is coming and people seem to be making an appearance within the city... I'm tired and sore but my mind is happy that I was able to get back to work, AND that tomorrow I get to have a lovely day off... 

I love my job, sometimes it's hard work but it's a job that has lovely colleagues and a usually happy public that I can entertain... Sometimes I want to murder a few people, and there are always people that think they know better but it's job that I go out and do, that pays my bills, gets me to meet a variety of random and interesting people and COME ONE, it's CHEESE!! Backstage with the Band

I am a child born in the 80s, and raised in the 90s. I was a fan of one of the UK's first - and if I may say so best boybands Take That - and although I was a fan of them I also fell hard for one of the most important grunge boys to ever hit the music scene. My early teenage years would have been NOTHING with Mr Kurt Cobain... On one hand there was Mark Owen, the other was Kurt... I was a cheesy pop, grunge diva kinda girl... I was the kinda girl at school hung out with the skateboarding boys, wearing a hoody and plenty of eyeliner... Listening to the angsty kinda music that drove my Dad bonkers... 

I had a teenage crush on Kurt Cobain for so long and was mortified by his death... I had a jealousy toward Courtney Love, purely because she was his other half, although I LOVED listening to her band Hole... 
Rudh got all excited when she heard that there was a Shotgun Pop-Up event with a Grunge theme... Her and her mates had already decided to try and get a gig with their grunge band, the Free Candy, and rocked up to their first show with an old truck - a truck from Bad Unicorn - loaded with gear... Dressed in an outfit that pays homage to Miss Love's style back in the 90s - thanks to an amazing release from miss chelsea for the Shotgun Pop-Up Event - she's ready to rock out and find her own Nirvana...

Happy New Year!!!

Just wanted to spend a moment to welcome in the New Year and kick out the old one... The Netherlands is as per usual, filled with the sounds of explosions while the fireworks have been lighting the sky and scaring the animals that are in their homes... I personally am with the fireworks hating animals, but I'm trying to remain calm for the sake of my puppy... 
Rudh is the one that will be heading out to party for the both of us...

Rudh isn't averse to the glitter and the sparkles and the painting of the sky - I wouldn't be if they didn't make such a fucking horrible bang, but that's just my opinion - she's going to stand and watch... Raising a glass to the new year and the passing of the old one, I'll sparkle and sip some wine and blow on the noisemaker to ceebrate... As for the Real me, I'm going to hide and hope the fireworks don't go on too long all night...

A Ride in the Rain?!

The weather has been shocking here the past few days since the storm that battered the bejeezus out of the UK made it across the Channel and decided to take a swipe at the Netherlands too... 
I'm sick and tired of hiding under an umbrella, I LOVE Autumn but all of the gorgeous fall colours are being swept away in the wind and our house roof, that we thought was fixed has got a flipping leak again... I just want to find somewhere to run away to... 

Walking in the rain on my way home from work, when the evening is getting dark and the rain is falling I hide myself away under an umbrella... 
As I was walking past the entrance to the underground garage, a seedy looking van, that could only be described as one of those "Bang Vans" that you see in dodgy shows about kidnap and perhaps even porn - though you can buy your own from Bad Unicorn with a variety of different designs available - offered me a ride and some shelter from the rain... Sounds like it could be the start of a rather interesting kinky story?!

A Last Pop Of Pride

Pride month is almost coming to an end, and what a fabulously bright and wonderful Pride Month it has been. I've not had much chance to enjoy the festivities in SL, but I live in Amsterdam and it's such an amazing place to have some rainbow fun... That being said it's been a wonderfully colourful month, and there's still a couple of days to enjoy the show... 

I know that once the month is over, the Pride feeling will not ever go away. It's not just something that's important for the month of June, it's something that should be remember every day all year, and as I've always said it shouldn't matter who you fall in love with, love is the most important thing and it should always be celebrated... 
Plus it's a DAMN GOOD REASON to get myself drenched in rainbows of all different kinds and party a little... Right now I love rainbows so much that I can't even think straight!!!

Today I had a day off, Monday is always going to be the second day of my weekend and it's nice when things are quiet to be able to enjoy my weekend... While I was wandering around I decided to pop over and check out the festivities that are running in the Pride at Home sim... As per usual, as with every year, the sim is amazeballs... The Pride Floats are insanely creative and there's rainbow glitter sparkling in the air... 

There is so much to see at the Pride at Home sim that I know it won't be my only visit this month. I'm also hoping to find a time to get on and enjoy some of the Pride Events... BUT as per usual the floats drew the most of my attention today, I spent AGES looking at each of them, snapping pictures and generally having a gay ol' time...

Welcome to the Pride

June 1st brings so much fun... It's the start of the Summer, it's half way through the year until everything starts to getting Christmas festive again, it's my Sister's Birthday month and she reminds me again and again and again, but there's something more important that June is the month of... 
Things start to get brightly colourful, rainbows fill the air and equality becomes much more of a discussed topic... June is Pride Month... We let the colours fly in order to raise awareness and promote equal rights because putting it frankly Love is Love... 

It's crazy to think that it's 2023 and we're still having to try to fight for equality... It's not just for the people to have the right to love who they want, but the races of the world to all be treated equally too... It's shocking to think that we can't all just accept each other, understand that if we all wanted the same thing that life would be SO boring, but then basically isn't it what we all want anyway, the right to be able to live a happy peaceful life, no matter the colour, the sex, the size, the age or the person that we choose to love?! 
I am all for supporting Pride Month - and it's not only because the rainbows are AWESOME and I love a good rainbow - but I have many friends both RL and SL that are parts of the LGBTQIA community. I've had relationships with women in the past myself, and although I'm now stuck with a crazy, lump of a man, it was MY choice to love him, and I really feel that anyone should be able to make the decision as to who they want to love, and be accepted for it too.. Heck you even hear stories in the news about people that love innanimate objects, there was a woman that was in love with the Eiffel Tower wasn't there? If it's not hurting or exploiting anyone, why are people still having to fight for acceptance...
So Pride Month is upon us, there are lots of fun, crazy things happening in our little Second Life community and I cannot wait to be a art of some of the festivities... Pride at Home is running again this year, and there will be events, concerts, shows and all different sorts of things happening... So if you haven't already, maybe it's time to remember that Love is Love, and shouldn't everyone be able to celebrate in that?

Sparkles, Bubbles and Bunny Rabbits!

Random pictures often tend to be the best pictures for me, FULL of happiness and randomness and totally bonkers feelings... I LOVE when these things come together to make myself feel stronger and as taking pictures and blogging is a form of therapy for me, I love when the happy endorphines come straight from my brain and flood my entire being at the happy pictures... 
Today's picture is one of those happy pictures, that I can't help but smiling at... Colours, sparkles, bubbles and amazingly cute bunnies... What more can I want...

I LOVE the pink, the sparkles, the rainbow happiness... I LOVE this feeling, it's making me feel bright and my happiness is on fire...

A Brunchtime Romance

Since Valentines Day is coming this week, and I've been trying to get into the spirit of things but it's not ever going to be easy for me, as I keep saying I'm really not a hearts and flower kinda girl. I CANNOT wait until Halloween, it's the most wonderful time of the year. So I am now pushing myself somewhat harder, this morning I decided to take a moment and set up the most romantic of Valentines Brunches... For someone VERY special... ME!!!

I set up a table on the Rue Cremieux - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - with some fresh bread, some delicious fruits and a HUGE jar of the most delicious Yumtella - a release from vespertine at Cupid Inc - for a wonderfully indulgent brunch. I'm making this year my year, it's all about me learning to Love myself, and so dressing up all pretty in a gorgeously, sexy dress - from Psycho Barbie - doing my hair up all fancy in a fresh, newly dyed do - from Doe at Cupid's Fault until February 20th - to feed myself this scrumptious breakfast. I even brought myself some beautiful pink roses - from hive - and a soft fluffy bear,then even wrote myself a note promising a silly strip tease in the mirror... This year is going to be my year, and I am going to love myself!

Mummy's Lil' Trick or Treaters

We're getting closer and closer to the day that the kids are allowed to wander the streets begging for candy. It's not something that we really do here in the Netherlands, although Halloween is slowly becoming more and more popular, but I can't help but get into the Halloween spirit and feel lucky that I'm able to do more Halloweenie stuff in SL... 
Though for my 31 days of Halloween look today I've been lumbered with a rather arduous task of taking the streets kids out Trick or Treating... I'm a Mummy that's been made to be a mummy to all of the little monsters... 

I'm going to wander along the Trick-n-Treat Lane - a backdrop from Synnergy, that's now become Synnergy.Tavis - with an army of monstrous kids of different ages and sizes, wearing all manner of different costumes; some scary others not, and we are going to have a great time collecting candy... Even the family pets got a chance to come out for a little Trick or Treating... As their "Mummy" minder though I've laid down the rule that I get at least one treat from each of the kids tonight... I wonder what goodies I'll be able to feed my Cauldron Creature - from Evil Baby - when I steal from their Pumpkin Pails - from Junk Food.

Dancing at the Rave in the Graveyard!

It's the 8th of October, and that means Day 8 of the 30 days of Halloween... Today's look is something that one might argue is a LITTLE close to some of my everyday style, with perhaps a dash more blood... It's Saturday Night though, and that means that we're getting ready for a night on the town... The little Monster in me is all glammed up, ready to have a party at the Rave Yard in the city, and tonight she's taking a date with her... 

The date in question is one of my favourite people in SL, and he's been with me for almost my entire Second Life... Dean and I have been through so much, he's always been there and has been my rock as well as one of my best friends. We don't often get a chance to pose together, but today we made that chance and since he looked SO Fabulous in the new Salt & Pepper "Desire" outfit, we had to head to the local "RaveYard" club - items from Neverwish - where the music is loud and there's nothing to do but dance the night away! 
I HAD to match his level of Fabulousness... So for my 8th day of Halloween look I glammed myself up as Frankenstein's Bride, complete with oodles of blood and bolts through my neck - bolts from HAUNT at The Engine Room - and her hair styled in such a glamorous Franks style - from FUNKYSTENTCH at Anthem. Accesorised with some beautifully sparkly Marilyn gems - from MOoH! - and some of the coolest looking SHRED piercings - from Normandy at Trick or Treat Lane, that I've shared in a close-up below to show off just a little better - I was ALMOST as fabulous as Dean! Almost, but not quite!!

A Dark Adventure at Ghost School

It's OCTOBER!!! Finally the spooky season has started and I'm SO EXCITED!!! There is so much going on this month, and I plan on harming my psyche with 31 different costumes in 31 days!!! I LOVE the spooky season!! It's the best and most wonderful time of the year... 
I also have some of the most amazing news... Our very special, spooky event, a DARK ADVENTURE for 2022 has FINALLY opened!! We're going on a tour of the world and hope that you'll come with us!!! 
Welcome to the Ghost School, and I'm sure this month you'll meet some of the spookies that will be haunting the place... First a trip into the School Gymnasium... 

There's spooky things going on at the Ghost School... Monsters are coming in and going out, a ballgame took place and the head of the cheer squad is disposing of the losing team's captain. Her uniform is a new style in the Anna range - a set released by miss chelsea for the Belleza Event - it makes her school colours, and looks AWESOME!!!
