I'm currently on a little bit of an emotional roller-coaster, and so as well as a pretty picture, this post may end up becoming one of my venting places - somewhere I can unleash my thoughts just as I would if this was my journal. I've always said that my blog is somewhat a diary for me, allowing me to share my thoughts and feelings, and acting as a little bit of a therapy at times. So if you're only interested in the pretties, that's fine, but the credits at the bottom are the details, if not please feel free to read my ramblings...
This one is actually on the personal side, and more RL than I might normally share, but I have a need to ramble. Judge me if you will, but guidance and support is preferred, and if you have any suggestions you know how to find me!
Now, you may have heard that I am currently visiting my family in RL... I LOVE being back home, I love being able to rest and recharge, not think about the general day to day things that make normal life so monotonous. Don't get me wrong, I love my life, my work, my addiction to SL, but being able to come back to the place I was born and raised allows me to feel a new fizz of happiness in my head.
Yet there are things going on here, things that are beyond my control, and I feel powerless. Unhappiness amongst members of my close family. Unhappiness, stubbornness, and a distancing that seems to be pushing my once very close family apart... It brought me to tears because I am powerless to stop it, there seems to be nothing that I can do and even though me being here provides some light relief, the cracks seem to be expanding.
I'm frustrated with my sister in the fact that she can still happily live at home with my parents, in some ways widening the cracks of the problems, but she's also keeping things together in other ways too.
In addition to that, after seeing the decline in both my maternal grandparents, it adds to the powerlessness. Living so far away from the people that I love and care for most in the world, makes things seem so difficult.
Being here has helped me relax, forget the stresses and homesickness of being an expat, and it's even given me moments of sparkling joy, yet I know that soon I will be leaving, heading back to my normality and I will be leaving with those doubts in my mind. The uncertainties that will cause me to think and over think, it's a daunting and scary set of thoughts. I am trying to focus on the positives of my visit home, but departing from it will be harder this time than usual and I'll admit I'm feeling more than a little apprehensive about doing so. How can I cling to these feelings of normality, when things are far from normal and a lot closer to the surface than they ever have been before? How can I go home acting like everything is normal? They always say that the future is bright, but right now my future - and the future of my family in particular - is anything but certain. I feel such a mess of emotions, hiding behind a mask of happiness... I'm happy, healthy and relaxed, but those terrible feelings of anxiety are bubbling below the surface, I must not let them boil over... I must just remember that, on this occasion, there is nothing I can do...

Even though I am not an American, giving Thanks is something that I like to do not just the one day a year but all year round, it's an international thing I feel. HOWEVER, there is one Thanksgiving tradition that I am very thankful for and that would be the BLACK FRIDAY sales the day after... Its catching on a little in the UK and so I indulged in a little RL shopping yesterday, but MY GOD today I will be needing to log into SL to hit some of the Black Friday sales in SL!!! There are so many, and there are some that I have been delaying buying from because I had been hoping there would be a Black Friday Sale!!!! I'm going to get into a shopping frenzy fairly soon I feel...
After the craziness of the sales though, and while I am still away from SL, I think that I will be needing to check Rudh into somewhere quiet with some lovely help to calm her down...It's sale madness, it will pass in a few days - once the sales are over of course! - and until then the nurses will make sure she's well looked after!
While we're discussing her new living arrangements, doesn't she look so cute too in her hospital robes?! The Teddy Crazy Hospital only allows bears in, so naturally Rudh had to dress for the part by adding some adorably Petite Fuzzy Ears - from Besom - which luckily blended with her pretty Olive wig.

It feels so lovely right about now in RL... I am just waking up and sitting in my parents living room watching the birds feed from the rosehips that are still waiting for them in the garden. Though you know me, I cannot just step away from my blog for too long, it's like an addiction that needs to be supported!
Im having a lovely time with my family though, we're even doing some very early christmassy type things since I wont be here in RL with them over the holidays. This is inspiring me just a little bit, I will be getting a little more Christmassy from now on... It's time for picking out my Christmas tree, I think...

Today is my last day at home before I go on Holiday and oh my gosh it is so very needed. I want to take some time out to just relax and be with my RL family, the people that I miss so much now that I live in the Netherlands. Yesterday was a little bit naughty, well... A LOT naughty, but today I've decided to tone things down just a little bit and even though I'm still being naughty, I'm being very cute with it too... There's an event that's just opened on the grid called Afterglow. It's an event themed for Adults out there but it's not just about the sex, there's a lot of alcohol and rock'n'roll too... It seems like the perfect event for adults wanting to let loose and have a little fun, and in fact that's exactly what HellBone and I are planning on doing today! Tonight is a much needed date night, but before then, we had time for just a little SL fun in the snow... Hell and Rudh style of course!
See, we've been busy setting up the most gorgeous location for my SL parents wedding in a few weeks, but all that snow was just calling to us. I wanted to build a snowman, but well me being the little deviant that I am ended up making Snow Peen! One of them got a little grassy, but I just couldn't help giggling as the Snow Peen got bigger and bigger - these are an Afterglow release from Hilted by the way. Then I turned around and what do I see... HELLBONE WAS MARKING HIS TERRITORY IN A SNOW PILE! I'm assuming it will say "Gators MC was here" but who knows with HellBone and his terrible spellings hehe.
Just a side note, the Snow Pile that we're playing with is actually more than a little awesome. It's scripted so that you can write a message in the snow as you pee!!! We all know someone that wants to do this, now they can thanks to FaceDesk at Afterglow!
Now we just have to hope that we don't get murdered by Lou, Chopper or Phe for being naughty in their Winter Wonderland Wedding setting!!! At least we're out tonight lol... Maybe we will get away with it?!

I said that my last post was to be the last of my Autumnal feeling, I cannot guarantee that as in SL it can be any time of year no matter what the weather outside is doing, but at least for now, the snow is settling into Rudh's world and making things a little chilly! It's one of my favourite things about this time of year, an excuse to wrap up snugly, to curl up in front of a warm fire and drink tea with a good book... In RL I HATE SNOW! It makes me so paranoid - I'm always one to slip over, it's like a guaranteed thing - but in SL, that's a different story... Bring on the Snow Mr Frost...
Of course, again, the fact that it is Second Life means you can get away with wearing next to nothing in the snow and not get cold LOL... Hence why, my - I guess you might say it is a Look of the Day - outfit is probably a lot more revealing than it would be if I was in the snow in RL right now LOL...

November is STILL Autumn, right?! It's the start of the most magical time of the week... The Weekend! Today is also one of my MC sisters birthday's, so there may be trouble ahead for those of you that are in world today... It's at that point for me where I've been working very hard as of late, and only have a week to go before I am able to say that I will be heading back to my homeland for some much needed time with the RL family... My countdown has started and from Sunday it's just one week to go before I head to the UK!! I really need a battery recharge... Really Really Really!!
So in SL I'm trying to keep my chin up, and I'm finding myself flocking to anything English to make myself feel a little less homesick... Though right now I'm not sure this phone booth would allow me to call home...
I don't know how people coped before the internet and good phone service to live in distant lands, I get so home sick and I'm lucky to be able to pick up a phone or video chat with my parents any time I want to... It would probably kill me if I couldn't do that!
At Rosa Scotia - a gorgeous sim with lots of pretty places to explore - I wanted to make a call home, but it seems like the phone was out of service. Luckily, while I was upset there was a pretty little kitty that wanted attention and needed cuddles too - thanks to an awesome new pose collection from Secret Poses called Annie. The Annie pose set made me laugh as it features cats and my RL cat is called Anna, though she's often Annie when we're trying to get her to come to us... I had to play with Annie in world!
Funny how a kitty, or a puppy or any animal for that matter, always has the ability to distract you from feeling sad!!

The winds are changing, and for many places the snow is falling - the time of the coldest days has arrived and that makes me a happier bunny since I'm not a fan of summer heat.
I love the way that snow sparkles when it's crisp and fresh, and I LOVE the sound of the stillness when the snow covers the ground... The sharpness as you breathe in the cold air and a need to wrap up in a million layers feels like heaven... So things are going to start getting a little chilly looking here for a while and we're starting with a royal visit from the Snow Queen to open the season...
She's made a visit to the beautiful island that is Moochie - YES the Moochie that was Halloween styled until very recently but 'Tis the Season - with the sounds of Disney's Frozen echoing through my headset, it's an Enchantment...
The theme of Enchantment this month is the Snow Queen - which is actually the background story used by Disney when they created their Frozen story line...
The Snow Queen is nothing like Elsa however, she's definitely one with more of a dark side, and the only similarity between her and the Disney version is the similar colour of her Crystal Ballgown... The Crystal Ballgowns are brand new releases from Petite Mort for the new round of Enchantment, and it works perfectly with the Fur Stole and Muff sets that have been released by the store at the event too... Keeping the chill from the chilliest shoulders in Fairyland.
It appears that while she's working some Winter magic, she's borrowed the Ice Queen Sceptre of her Narnian cousin! The Ice Queen Sceptre has been created by Fika - which is also available at Enchantment - and it's gorgeous! It comes with three different bento hold poses, a collection of colours and even pulsing glows...
Bring on the cold... To quote a Disney Snow Queen "the cold never bothered me anyway..."

It's been a while since I did something that was pretty without having hints of the dark and macabre... I blame the fact that it's seemingly more accepted to be dark and scary when it's Halloween season, so today I'm doing something very girlie, a touch of the princess in me is showing, and she's living in the luxurious settings she deserves. although the rebel in her can't be totally subdued as she smokes a sneaky cigarette!

It's been SUCH a long few days, working my ass off in the cheese store although it's been strangely quiet which can in some cases make it worse as there's too many hours and not very many tasks to do. However, my Cheesy working week is done, and I'm back at home, able to warm myself up with a cup of tea and get myself feeling all snuggly before bed.
I didn't realise that I looked so tired... I caught sight of myself after I slipped into some cute slouchy clothes - the top being an adorable Fun Crop from one of my new blog sponsors Star Sugar! I love these comfy looking tops, and there are so many cute things coming out from the store I cannot wait to see what I can do with all the pretty things...

Walking alone in the dark has always made me feel very nervous, and most of that is because I've scared myself with Horror Movies... It always feels a little nicer to have a light than be lost in the dark!!!
I guess today it's a little bit of a look of the day, but also a scary walk in the dark through the Gothic Castle that haunts her nightmares...
Mostly though she wanted to find a gorgeous place to take a photo of her new outfit! The bodysuit and garters are parts of the new Succubi Sets from Fika at the soon to open round of We <3 RP! The sets come in Rubber - shown here - and lace!! I added a leather jacket from Pseudo and then a Falcon mask from Zombie Suicide topped off with a hat to hide my VVitch hair!!! I love this look!!

I know that Halloween is over but seriously I cant resist myself one more dark and Samhain themed post because well, for me every day is Halloween! It's not just a seasonal thing, I live dark and macabre all year round.
As the Halloween magic fades though, there's just time for one more spell... A little voodoo just to wave bye bye to both troubles with people that don't deserve me missing them, and as a bye bye to the Halloween Season...
I put the fun in funeral and I definitely put the fun in voodoo... I LOVE having dolls for times when I don't want to have to deal with the drama of people acting like assholes! Heading to the Upward Spiral, she wanders around the levels and finds a quiet corner to cast a little voodoo spell on those that hurt her...
