Tempestuous Tides for Mermonsters and Tentacled Beings

My mind is in turmoil, I am tired and distracted and keep doing things that cause myself harm... Nothing is super bad but I cut myself whilst making dinner tonight and I cried about it far too much... 
As is usual in times like this, when my brain is breaking I find myself disappearing into a prettier and happier part of my mind, somewhere a little more fantastical... The seas may be Tempestuous, but the rough seas should be the worst of my problems... 

The tempestuous nature of the seas are only exciting the tentacled beasts below the depths... They make Tentacle Hearts - like those from Krescendo - at the lovely merfolk that swim alongside them... 
This little mermonster knows that she's well protected by the tentacles from the deep, and her Alien Astral - which is actually the name of the head and skin from BeSpoke - aura will assist them in their hunt for pirates, and the protect her from the very pirates that want to steal her tears...

Toxic Monsters

Are you one of those people that can flit through life without any care or concerns, trying to keep yourself smiling and without problems? Are you one of those people that seems to find yourself stuck in a rut, facing difficulties and wanting the world to stop? Do you live for drama and toxicity or are you happier when you can be left alone to enjoy some peace? I know that everyone is different and everyone has their own way of handling things, for me personally I'm an over-thinker, I have terrible anxiety and worry constantly about letting people down. It's a toxic, viscious cycle sometimes, and it's one that I'm trying hard to break free from... 

I am one of those people that over-thinks, over worries, and gets anxious about a lot of things, though perhaps unless you knew me really well you'd NEVER know that... I'm definitely not the only one with these feelings, they seem to becoming more and more predominant these days, but we all seem to have to our own ways of dealing with these emotions. I'm one of those people that aims to distract myself by reading or taking pictures in Second Life to make things become less focused on the bad, toxic feelings... Sometimes though my mood will guide my creativity... Today things are a little bit of a toxic monster...

Travelling Goodies

I know that I'm not officially leaving until Monday afternoon, but I'm more than a little excited to tell you that on Monday I will be heading towards the Ferry Port and boarding a boat to I can go home... I'm heading to the UK and I'm going to see my mum and dad... 

I'm going to be in a little cabin where I can get some sleep, some much needed sleep... All I need to do is make sure that I get my packing done... I hate packing... 
Rudh is packed and ready to go though... She's got her cases and her passport, some delicious looking snacks like the Picnic Box she packed for herself and the crunchy bag of Gold Pretzels - both of which are available from Junk Food - and even some good new smut to read. Say My Name... Rudhlejuice...

There's magic, there's mystery and there's madness in the air... It's almost Halloween time, and we should be loving spooky feelings that are all around us... I recently re-watched a film that I love each and every year that I see it, Beetlejuice... I love that crazy Burtonesque vibe, whether it's Beetlejuice or if it's a Nightmare before Christmas, or even a little bit of a Corpse Bride, and  tosodafeeliny I was  a little bit Beetlejuicy... So for my 31 looks of Halloween today I'm going to be a little bit Rudhlejuicy... 

There's always something kooky about Beetlejuice so I let my mind go a little magical and a lottle kooky! Creating my Beetlejuice Look actually came about all because of a release from Normandy, the DRIFT set comes with both top and skirt, but it was the skirt that caught my attention - and I've had to ad the store ad to the bottom of my post so that you can see just how cute the look is - and I'll mesmirize myself with the shinies...  
Now, all I need to do is have someone say my name a few times...

In the Cold, Damp of the Basement...

It's May 1st, the 5th month of the year has finally started... WHERE DID THE LAST 4 MONTHS GO? There's also changes afoot that may well affect the SL blogging community as a whole, and I'm intrigued to find out how it will affect those that do blog. From today, Flickr - which is SL's main photo showcase place - will no longer allow free accounts to post moderate or adult related content... It could affect everything that we all know and love... I am a Pro account, it shouldn't affect me all that much, but maybe sponsors will be seeking different things... Who knows... 
Still to honour that change, and the fact that I'm a Pro account, I was having a conversation with a very close friend. Before long I'd been bound, blindfolded and gagged. Dragging down the stairs into a cold, damp, basement... 

In the Basement - a backdrop from PALETO - I sat on my butt that was bruised as I bounced down the stairs, and waited for hour upon hour, until my captor appeared like a shadow blocking out the light. He'd ripped off my clothing casting it here and there, my underwear - actually a bikini from Half-Deer - the only thing I could see in the pool of light at the bottom of the stairs. Dressed into a straight jacket - from UNA - and pushed onto my knees with the gentle touch from his riding crop, like a good girl - thanks to a pose from FOXCITY.

The Sea Witch got the Trident!

 Everyone may have realised by now that I have a bit of a love of Mermaids... I always wanted to be Ariel as I was a kid, and now I realise I'd have much more fun in Ursula's body... Who wouldn't wanna be an evil undersea witch?! 
I'd be the kinda seawitch that hides in a dark little cave with my monsterous tentacles draining the life out of the brave little fishies that swim by to create an army of ghost fish hehe... 

After all, Hentai Fair is running and there are just SO MANY TENTACLES that a girl cannot help but let the monster in the cave come to life... The Last of the Queen's Roses

Today I feel like doing something magically random... Not sure why, but when the mood takes you, you kinda just have to roll with it! It can happen with all different sorts of things, sometimes you get inspiration from a setting, or an outfit or even an accessory or prop, but sometimes hings just kinda come together and world's collide and you get magic... 

Before it closed, I had to take one last trip into the Queen's Garden that was a part of the Fantasy Faire, and although it's now gone I was totally in love with this sim... It was so pretty! 
So while I was there, one last time I had to unleash a little more magic, a few wishes aimed at those who the RFL was trying to assist, and a little sparkle to make me smile... Thank you to the creator of the Queen's Garden - and all of the other Fantasy Faire Sim designers! 
This magical queen stands in her towers, living her real Fairytale - I've used so many of the poses from this FOXCITY Set, if you're a lover of fairytales like me, it's a good collection! - sniffing the rose left by her prince! Entropy for a Party

Oh my god this morning I woke up with the worst headache I've had in a long time... It wasn't a hangover - those are signs of fun the night before - no this was more of a migraine, caused I think in part by the fact that I had an extra blanket on my bed and therefore got too warm in the night! 
So now I feel a little like death... Maybe I could let myself be dark and evil and macabre for today. I mean Halloween and October never really die in my house, I always like to let the living dead doll me out to play... Maybe I'll let her go party while the real me suffers! 

I have to say, I LOVE this outfit that the living dead doll me has decided to go out in, even though the stench of all that blood right now added to my headache would make me a very unhappy girl in RL lol. 
The entire reason that this outfit, which I love so much, came into being was because of the simply amazing collar from CURELESS for the current round of Eclipse called "Entropy". It's demonic, it's macabre and it's bloody, but if you want less blood there's a darker version too! It's so well detailed that I got very excited when I put it on looking at all those little details! I put an outfit together around the collar! The perfect bad girl outfit to go out partying in...

Walking the Dog

Things are slowly beginning to calm down for me in SL... I've been sent some very exciting news, which may be shared soon, but the Gators are slowly tidying up the maze we built for Halloween - and are trying to restrain HellBone from starting the new one already LOL - but it seems like in the next few days I will be able to start thinking about new houses since we're allowed to start working on that now that the maze isn't taking up all available prims LOL.
Until then I'm enjoying the peace and quiet... I'm going to take my new puppy, which has been shut in over the Halloween period for a long walk, you know as decorating inspiration hehe... Today I think I'll check out Whimberly... 

My poor little Spoiled Rottie - from Jian - Puppy was doing the peepee dance he'd been kept inside for so long during all that maze craziness. So it was well past due that I took him out for a walkies...

Nightmare about 2 Blocks Over from Elm Street

Some days I want to just disappear into the dark... Today is one of those days! It's a long story that I won't go into but I'm going to use my blog as a distraction today... Something to take my mind off my own dark thoughts and into someone else's!

I took this picture when I was wandering around at the Forgotten, Rudh was dressed as a Freddie tribute, with her own interesting twist... For example, instead of blades for his gloves, she's taking a leaf out of Edward Scissorhands book and using scissors... Yet she's still managed to damage herself by cutting too close - thanks to a Doe Brains Hairstyle! 
Would you believe though, that this whole outfit came together because of the Cropped Sweater - a new epoch release for this month's N21 event - I saw the plaid and it just developed into Rudhie Kruger!

There's a Good Dog!

Time to get my relax on. It's Saturday Night and I've had a busy day at work in RL, but I want to just kick back and relax, sharing a picture of something. It's been a few days since I had a chance to blog, I don't know why but my Mojo has been lacking somewhat and I need to get back on the band wagon... It's both adorable and kinkiness that was started by Fapple, and saw me deciding it was time for a game of puppy... It's not something that I'm normally into, but this adorable little Puppy Love Dog House - from Fapple - made me feel a need... I'm a Good Cop getting Lollies for a Bad Cop!

At certain times everyone needs to play the police... Policing situations that are needing both good and bad cops... It can be draining and can leave marks on a girl, even though you're not directly involved in anything. 
Now cops should always work in pairs, the good with the bad... Finally I'd found the bad to my good - or the good to my bad when I'm feeling particularly feisty - but I have to admit that she keeps telling me to worry less... It's hard, I've always had to be the one that handles things on my own... 
So I'm taking a break, and heading out to get my co-cop something delicious - no doughnuts, not yet - but ice lollies are a good substitute right?! 

Of course, this kinda cop, although right now the good cop mode, would still dress like Rudh! In the precinct that Rudh works in, the uniform is kept very minimalistic LOL... It's such a cute uniform, provided by the 1313 Mockingbird Lane team, so that when she's policing the Vila Mimosa Red Light District she's able to blend in with the other girls! Each uniform is available in three parts - bodysuit, shorts and hat - which is awesome as you can wear it all together or separately. Though you need to provide your own cuffs and firearms - like the one I have from (Yummy) stuffed into my garter. 
Anyway I'm off on a Junk Food run, I want to get some lollies from the Bodega for my co-cop...

The Epiphany has opened it's doors, in fact they've been open a few days now, but I've only just managed to get into the hallowed hall of gachaness! Boy what a fight it was, but when I got in there, I was like a whirling dervish... Grabbing things all over the place... There was one stand that I could bypass luckily, as I'd been lucky enough to be sent them!
Now though, after all that risk and chance, I feel like playing more... So feistily, I challenge you to come play a game... Go on... I dare you!

Leaning against the machine as I challenge you, I feel kinda cocky, but I guarantee if you decided to play games I'd lose because I'm so useless... For some reason though I decided when I was setting up the shot that I needed to be in a diner while playing old arcade games...
The games machines themselves come from the Vidya Games gacha machine by Lost Junction at the new round of The Epiphany. Her Last...

I'm so tired at the moment that I feel I could just sleep anywhere and I'm actually in a pretty good mood at the moment LOL... Now you're probably going to think that I've gone mad when you see my picture today and wonder how can she be happy when she's dead, but you should know me if you've been reading my blog ever that the more dead I am the happier I am in RL... 
Today I'm sitting in my favourite new chair, locked in the Death Chamber... 

The Death Chamber is a new release from Mad' - which you can pick up at the Men Jail - that comes complete with an electric chair for maximum body warming. 
For her last meal though, Rudh didn't opt for food, she decided to have as a last meal, some fun with some naughty "Whipped" Magazines - a current group gift from abrasive - and some fun toys that were delivered discretely in a BellePoses carrier Bag. 
Fear not though Rudh lovers, she died with a smile on her face... She'll be back again tomorrow though, Living Dead Dolls have the ability to come say hi again and again!!!

Apocalypse Attire

I've been pretty and pink for a while now and I think it's starting to wear me down just a little... It's really not something that I am used to, so today I'm going to add a touch of darkness by going hunting in my own little Post-Apocalypse world...
Days, Weeks, Months have passed and poor little Rudh, has no idea how long she's been wandering this deserted landscape, if it wasn't for the companionship of her trusty Zombie hunting cats, she may no longer be able to survive. Armed to the teeth, and dressed for protection, she's ready to face the world... 

Wandering around outside Tralala's Diner looking for something for dinner, the mini tribe of Rudh and her cats hunt... 
Her outfit too has been scavenged from various things she's found - put together by Tentacio and PSYCHO.Byts for a Hopeless Future from the Remnant of the dark days... 
Armed with a Violetility Wrecker to defend herself like there's No Tomorrow... 
She stalks the dark urban landscape and hopes that no one comes across her path...

Rudh in PINK?!

My dad is visiting in RL, so things are a bit of a blur at the moment, but I couldn't resist taking a few minutes just to share something a little cute while my Dad takes a bit of a nap. 
I guess you might call it a look of the day, I might say it's me reverting to a childhood type of feeling while I have my Dad around, but whatever it is, there's something you might notice about it that's not normal for me... PINK!!! 

I got more than a little inspired by this gorgeous WHOLE WHEAT Photo Set and couldn't resist donning a colour that I normally don't really think about wearing. I guess it's true I'd rather wear pink than purple but still... Kinda weird? No?! 
The outfit is pretty simple but it's the accessories that make things pretty... I was given this adorable pr!tty hair called Lemon, and the even cuter VIBES YOLO Summer Cactus Bag from a friend and well the prettiness of it called for PINK! 
Then for just another teeny tiny amount of cuteness, that would take this from pretty in pink to adorable in pink, I couldn't help but take the time to introduce a new friend... She's a Fun Frenchie - from Jian - and I'm calling her Valerie!! SO CUTE!!!

Pandas in April - Second Life Calendar 2017

Today's picture is one that I took a while ago now and have been waiting for the right moment to post, not sure when the right moment is ever going to appear though so hey ya know what I'm doing it NOW! I've decided that for no reason other than I want to - LOL - that this picture will be my April addition for the Second Life Calendar Challenge of 2017. YAY'n'Stuff!!! 

What to say about April... Hmmm... My mum in RL was almost called April due to the fact that she was born on April 3rd, luckily my Grandmother won the argument and she was called Alison instead LOL... Apparently though, April was the 250th most common name for a baby girl in the UK in 2013?!
So let's have a few facts about April, shall we? 
April is a month that has been written about frequently by some very well known Authors - George Orwell writes “It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks  were striking thirteen,” to open his novel 1984, for example with even Shakespear getting in on the April quotes by saying “Men are April when they woo, December when  they wed,” in As You Like - aside from all of these things though no film with 'April' in the title has ever won an oscar?! With it's Daisy Birth flower and sparkling Diamonds as it's birthdstone, April is something that needs to be noticed, it's a month of awareness and I guess that leads me on to my random picture, which too needs to be noticed LOL... 
Now let's talk about this month's calendar picture, I've decided to share a larger version of the picture that I used so you can see things a bit more clearly!

Taken in the Bamboo forest at Whole Wheat, for some reason, a while ago now I decided I wanted to play at being a Panda. Maybe it's because I was sorting inventory and found the ears, I don't really know but that's my thought so I'm sticking with that! 
Carrying a baby Panda in my arms - from Mutresse - I made myself look a bit Panda-ish thanks to these adorable Atomic Ears and this make-up layer from Mad'. The rest of my outfit is a little punk, but for some reason it seemed like Panda's and punk went together?!! 
April was mad, let's wait to see what May brings in...

Nightmares Under The Sea

I love playing dress up, and I love dark and macabre, and I love exploring... So when these three things combine, it makes for a very happy Rudh indeed. 
I was able to get my hands on a new release from one of my crush stores, and within the space of an hour or so I was told about a new Cica Ghost Art Sim... Wouldn't you know, the combination of these two things was PERFECT! 
Today we're going deep sea diving... Better bring your waterproofs!!

Cica Ghost has always made some very beautiful and interesting sims to explore, and although they aren't around for very long, when a new one pops up it's something that is a must-see for me. This time is no different, and the Under the Sea sim is filled with wonderful creatures of all shapes and sizes, and for today only, one extra guest... ME!!
The reason I decided that I needed to be here, was partly due to the amazing release from Nightmare for this year's Depraved Nation Luck of the Irish Gacha Fair. The items come separately but can be collected to form a "Cracken Attack" set - shown here in black and only missing the tentacles from the back and the head - in a range of different colours. Of course, once I had the tentacles in place my mind ran away with me. I found an old necklace from erare that drew my mind towards Ursula - Little Mermaid's Sea Witch - and so more Tentacle Marks - like the ones available from NOX - were needed. Then of course, as she was under the water, she needed some kind of Mermaidishness - yes I know it's not a real word LOL - which was where the Siren Carving Scars - from Evermore - come into play!
It's a dressing up costume that pleases me... It's caused me to start singing the Little Mermaid Classic "Under the Sea" but meh it's a song I can live with... In fact perhaps, so will you LOL...

Whole Wheat Chapel

Something a little random and pretty today, I need to boost my mood and pretty but simple always makes me feel better... 
Winter is slowly beginning to slip away, and the mornings are getting lighter which is definitely a positive thing. Second to Autumn - of Fall as I could call it - Spring is definitely my favourite time of the year. Life seems to be waking up, the air is crisp and fresh, and people start to smile again after the drudgery of winter months gone by. I cannot really get myself to leave Winter yet though... It's just too pretty in SL to walk away entirely lol... 

This location is one of my favourite photo snapping spots in SL. The Whole Wheat team are not only pose and prop creators, they have an awesome collection of scenes that are ready made and set up for photography uses, and if I have any idea I will usually be able to find just the right location to snap the perfect shot here! 
The outfit that I'm wearing is something that I've been wearing on and off all winter, but maybe at the moment it's in it's last wearing for a good few months?! I loved this jacket since I bought at it at the Tannenbaum Fair over Christmas, but the Sophie Jacket from Salt & Pepper is only just getting an outing in public... So strange, but still it looks cute right!? Especially when it's worn with the almost made to go together with it, Kelda Boots from N-Core!

The Host Has Now Left You!

I'm in one of those moods right now, where I want to be very dark and macabre... Nothing else will seem to do for my mood, and no matter what I try to do to get myself out of it the mood looks like it is sticking. So today you get another look into my dark and scary side. I've had so many things going on in my mind as of late and you may have guessed that I am not in the happiest of moods but I count myself lucky that I have a place like my blog where I can release my inner demons every once in a while - it's a great way to give your mind a little wiggle room I think...

When it comes to wiggle room, especially while I am thinking of my dark and macabre mood, one of my favourite recent purchases is an outfit from Lybra. The Host Gown - and it's matching but sold separately Hood - is available from the latest round of Momento Mori and it really sums up my feelings right now.
Needing to be restrained in case I do something a bit stupid, dark and a little dead perhaps, with a subtle hint towards the voodoo doll vibe, that can be enhanced with the simple addition of the Violetility Voodoo Doll Heart Pins - that are also available at Momento Mori this month. She has been left chained up in her padded room, with just the bugs for company - the DISORDERLY Roaches that inhabit her tea cup and the random.Matter Moth chained to her wrist.
