Sadness and Anger in Homesickness

After what feels like the shortest trip to visit family in the UK ever, I am now back home in the Netherlands. Normally I'm relaxed and happy and have some brilliant fun stories to share, which OK I can agree that I have this time around too, but for some reason I'm actually feeling a little more lost and alone than usual. I've always been close with my family, and I'll admit too that I couldn't actually live with them, but I HATE being so far away... I cry, it makes me miss them being so far away, and I WISH I never had to leave... I get sad, angry and for a day or two when I'm home I get a little depressed...

I go through mood swings, sometimes I'm up thinking of all the happy things and the fun times I had with my family and others I'm right down getting sads, and angry, and even feeling like hiding from the world, hanging on the edge of depression... I'm sorry if I take it out on anyone around, I'll take some chocolate instead of happy pills to make myself feel better and hopefully, my mood will improve soon... I just get very homesick and need to give it a few days to feel better...

Dancing Cakes!

Saturday Night, it's Eurovision Night, and ALL I want to do is eat cake right now... Since I've recently started a Lifestyle Coaching Course that will be assisting to change my life habits which include eating habits, I don't think a HUGE portion of cake will be a good idea. 
Perhaps it will be better if I head to the Sugar Bowl and help myself to cake in Second Life instead?! 

What I saw when I got there shocked me... Among the milkshakes and the donuts, it seems like music fever has gotten to the inhabitants of the little bakery... I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for TentaCream!

A couple of days ago, Hentai Horror started and warped a depraved little corner of Second Life... For some people the thought of Hentai and all the tentacles that it embraces can be a little unnerving or even off putting, but I'm part mermaid... Tentacles have never been a bother for me hehe... 
So while I was playing around in some of the awesome Hentai Horror themed creations, I felt a craving, and decided to step out to get some Ice Cream... 

At the SugarBowl Ice Cream Parlor, it seemed like the place was empty... May they too had gone to see what delights the Hentai Horror held, I had to help myself to some of the delicious Ice Cream, and even made a new friend in the owners puppy... I couldn't eat alone could I? I had to share!!
As you can see, the outfit isn't one of my usual colour choices... I blame the tentacles clouding my judgement, and for some reason opting for purple! It's a VERY rare occurrence that purple is worn by me... Don't get used to it LOL! It all started when I tried the Succubus Dress on - from MOEKO - there were a few different colours to choose from but for some reason it seemed to appeal best in purple when I added this awesome Socorra Hairstyle from EscalateD. The hair comes with these awesome tentacle horns braided into it! I was in love from the moment I tried the demo!!! 
Anyway, I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream... Not sure if that's because we love it, or we're scared of the TentaCram - by SEKA's - but I know I'm hungry and it looks YUM!!! I'm screaming for good reasons hehe...

Wow it's not even October and I'm already letting my inner dead girl have all of the control... She's letting the Halloween loving me run riot, and since it's not really a holiday that is widely celebrated in the Netherlands, I'm running amok in SL!!! 
There's gonna be lots of blood and gore and my face is even going to be wounded again - I'll be honest I've missed my face scars immensely - but I am SO excited I cannot wait to see what the Halloween season brings... 
For now at least it's time to let my inner dead girl out of her padded cell... Come into the light living dead Rudh...

Work, Work, Work

Day two of a very busy start to the week, BUT I did get lucky in that my shift changed so I don't have to open after closing the night before... PHEW!! People say that working in a store is an easy job, maybe those are the ones that haven't tried, but I will say that it can be physically draining. There are a lot worse out there though, I mean in Amsterdam we have a place where there are these little red windows hehe... Rudh always wanted to work in one of those!! 

In SL she can I suppose, I'm not cut out for doing it in RL lol... It helps that a long while ago now Exposeur released this Red Light Showcase Pose Prop - which coincidentally is awesome news if you want one because they are having a moving sale!!! 
Though this time I'm less about pose - it's one I've used more than once LOL - and more about the outfit... DO YOU SEE THIS OUTFIT?! Isn't it pretty?!! The Host Has Now Left You!

I'm in one of those moods right now, where I want to be very dark and macabre... Nothing else will seem to do for my mood, and no matter what I try to do to get myself out of it the mood looks like it is sticking. So today you get another look into my dark and scary side. I've had so many things going on in my mind as of late and you may have guessed that I am not in the happiest of moods but I count myself lucky that I have a place like my blog where I can release my inner demons every once in a while - it's a great way to give your mind a little wiggle room I think...

When it comes to wiggle room, especially while I am thinking of my dark and macabre mood, one of my favourite recent purchases is an outfit from Lybra. The Host Gown - and it's matching but sold separately Hood - is available from the latest round of Momento Mori and it really sums up my feelings right now.
Needing to be restrained in case I do something a bit stupid, dark and a little dead perhaps, with a subtle hint towards the voodoo doll vibe, that can be enhanced with the simple addition of the Violetility Voodoo Doll Heart Pins - that are also available at Momento Mori this month. She has been left chained up in her padded room, with just the bugs for company - the DISORDERLY Roaches that inhabit her tea cup and the random.Matter Moth chained to her wrist.

A Padded Cell for a Psycho

My first day back at RL work today and it's not looking like it's going to be pretty! There goes that holiday feeling! Oh well, back to the old grindstone! 
To cheer myself up I think I'm going to do something a little gory, a little macabre, something totally Halloweeny! You know me by now, the more dark and disturbed the better and I get so excited at this time of year that I feel like a kid at Christmas! 

I love making dark and horrible pictures like this LOL... What does that tell you about my personality?! Maybe my collar says it all "Psycho" LOL - these collars are gacha items from the Kibitz Leather Collar collection by the way. 
Yet I'll just brush it off as Halloween and hope that you buy my crazy story LOL. I've finally been committed, everything has driven me mad, and now I am being recognised as such! Luckily before they locked me away in my padded cell - a pose prop from the long since closed Exposeur - I was allowed to choose some of my favourite toys to take with me... I decided on my special bear - from D&S design - and my trusty Knife - from Boudoir - as a girl simply cannot be without those. I was even allowed to decorate my cell a little hence the Devil Trap - from paper moon - and the cute little dream catcher that I made from bits and bobs I had laying around - but really bought from MadPea lol... 
Of course accidents happen, I got hit in the head, and as the doctor was bandaging me up, he had to wrap my head in bandages and therefore had to get close, I used one of his own syringes on him and took something special for lunch!

Want to ROMP with a Hooker?

I've been far too good recently... I get the feeling that right now it's time to let out my inner bad girl, and that may not entirely be all of my own fault... ROMP has started... The best shopping event for those kink lovers out there, in my opinion at least, has started and is celebrating in it's anniversary round... My inner bad girl starts to sing as soon as she steps foot into the ROMP event location... 
Dresses, Jewellery, Marks, Toys and Shoes... Bad girl me was as Happy as a Hooker could be... 

It was the perfect excuse for me to use the Exposeur "Red Light Showcase" Prop that I have used before but only recently bought for myself in the stores huge closing sale. It also gave me a few giggles as I honestly kept singing to myself "How much is that Hooker in the Window?" You'd think I'd be used to scenes like this now, living so close to Amsterdam! 
Hooker Rudh was wearing a couple of pretty things from this month's ROMP event... Her barely there dress - which I assure you from the front looks like a short but somewhat more decent looking black leather dress - is from Method, and it seemed to be a great fit with the adorable Foxy Collars from Tabou. Not that you can see the front of that either, but it's really cute you have to trust me... 
Maybe you can also see that her last client was a little rough on her... That hand print looks like it stings! Big hands too!! Ass Smacks like these are created by Ama at ROMP... You should get your ass smacked today too hehe!! 
Now she's ready to lure the boys in, but I wonder, will lil Hooker Rudhie have any takers?!

Take Me Away to that Padded Room

It's crazy time, back to work on Monday morning BUT luckily this week should be a little less intense as I've only got one job to work this week!! It sounds like heaven but I have a very funny feeling that come Thursday I won't know what to do with myself LOL...
Perhaps I will let my crazed, dead dolly out to play... She's been locked away for a little while, but I feel the urge!
Mind you, she doesn't seem to mind being locked away all that much...

A nice padded room to sleep in, if you can ignore the blood... She's a prisoner in her own crazy mind, though perhaps she has the right idea and it is the safest place to be right now!
Wouldn't want to be the person that tries to get the gun from her though!
Her comfy padded cell is actually a pose prop created by Exposeur, but if you want to get your hands on one you need to move fast, the store's closing sale - in which everything is marked down by 80% off - only lasts until June 30th! The guards of her cell haven't been able to get close enough to remove the prison outfit that was her initial dress to replace it with a straight jacket, so she remains in her B.C.C Prisoner Outfit - part of the Jenny&Megan Gacha Collection for the latest round of The Arcade by the way - as she draws pictures in the blood that stains the cushions!
I want to finish today by sharing a song with you, one that I really love listening to, though you may be more familiar with the original version! Ever heard the song 'They're Coming To Take Me Away' by Napoleon XIV? Well, it's a cover version of that but it's much more fitting with the craziness that is Rudh - in this picture at least hehe - I freaking love this version of the song... When the Weather is Windy - Hair Fair 2016 Photography Contest!

One of the biggest shopping events on the SL calendar is coming, and for those people that are addicted to buying Hair, this is one that is definitely worth knowing about... I'm talking of course about Hair Fair 2016, the biggest hair event in SL that raises thousands of dollars every year for an amazing cause, helping to give children with cancer a little less to worry about! 
Hair Fair brings together a truck-load of SL's Hair Designers - some well known, others not so - each offering exclusive styles to raise money for the charity "Wigs for Kids" and in the coming weeks I will be talking more about the charity, the event and some of the awesome hairstyles available... Yet for now I want to inspire you, and let you know about the AWESOME prizes you can win if you fancy entering the Hair Fair's "Whatever the Weather" Photography contest! 

A little inspiration perhaps from a crazy rambling blogger! I wanted to create something that fitted with the theme of the contest - although I myself won't be entering - I couldn't resist using another pose prop from Exposeur and letting my inner princess out again hehe...
The theme of the contest is "Whatever the Weather", so any contest entry MUST not only focus on hair, but also have a subtle - or not so subtle depending on your ideas - nod towards the weather... My princess was trapped in a tower, that was so high she was up with the clouds and caught by some strong winds, for example!
Now as with any competition, there are a few simple rules! Firstly you need to use one of the hairs from the list of participating designers - I cannot list these all here as there are a lot of them, so I advise that you check out the list on the Hair Fair Photography Contest Web Page before you begin snapping - the web page also shows the full list of rules for this contest, but one of the most important is that there is to be NO NUDITY! That's right people, keep your clothes on, this is an event for children after all... If you're that keen to get naked, you can do it later LOL... OH AND REMEMBER, HAIR IS IMPORTANT IN THE PICTURE, make it your focus LOL... It's HAIR FAIR after all!!! 

All that said though, you should check out the HUGE list of prizes for this contest... First prize winners get 3 full fatpacks from ALL Prize Sponsors, lots of store credits, a VR Studio and VIP Access to the event for themselves and 5 friends!! Screw the Respected Institution!

Today is yet another day of shock for me.
I know that I've always felt foreign whilst living in Holland as a British person, but this morning at the announcement of the Brexit Results I will admit I shed a tear and found myself feeling even more like an outsider than usual. For those of you that don't know Britain has decided to leave the European Union, after such a close referendum vote was held that it could have ended with either outcome...
I never normally talk about Politics in public - it's one of those subjects that I feel it's always better to avoid, but this time I cannot hold it in, and I would love to know your views so please feel free to comment!
I will admit that I watched all of the debates with a balanced view, both sides made some fair points but in the end I wanted to stay. Britain was stronger as part of the EU, we were a powerful nation because of our position in the EU, yet without that who are we really? A small island nation that was once great... Look back 70 - 100 years and yes OK we were a great and powerful nation, but the world has changed so much I just hope we don't end up becoming the laughing stock of the world!
It feels like my home nation is either about to get fucked, or fuck itself!!

Sorry about my language, but I feel so crappy and needed to let out a bad word or two... You should hear the stream of cussing I'm doing in RL at the moment...
I'm trying not to think about it too much, but it honestly feels like the UK is about to be screwed like a prison bitch, which leads me to the reason I decided to use this photo of Mongo and I!
The UK always felt so big and strong, a great nation as represented by me in my police officer uniform... A voice of authority and a well respected insitution - the police uniform is a B.C.C Jenny&Megan Police Outfit from the current round of The Arcade by the way - although just for the record, I am in no means saying that other countries in Europe or outside of it are criminals LOL, I just realised how bad that looked... It's more to go with that feeling of authority that Britain feels it has, that and the fact that I wanted to use this awesome Exposeur "Prison Sex" pose prop...
On a side note, I'm also sorry to report that Exposeur is closing... Everything in store is marked down by 80% until June 30th - so I guess I will have to do a little shopping to put my mind at ease over the Brexit stuff...
I'm sorry for my rambling being a bit dramatic today... I just needed to get some thoughts off my chest... While I was writing this the UK's Prime Minister - David Cameron - has also resigned over the outcome of the vote and I am left feeling like a bit of an outsider in Holland - today's joke in my RL office has been "Passport please?!" to anyone that is British.
That's my views... I think we should have stayed... Without causing a fight though I'd like to ask you if you have any opinions and please feel free to share them with me as a comment... I'd love to know your views and reasons!

Reindeer Came in like a Wrecking Bauble

Sorry as I was working on this photo, and looking at the pose I suddenly had the Miley Cyrus song pop into my head - I say song but it was just one line over and over again and it made me go a bit crazy - I changed the lyrics as I put on a reindeer outfit and since then I've been singing "Reindeer came in like a Wrecking Bauble" to myself and irritating the heck out of HellBone LOL... Good times, good times! 

Today sees the beginning - the opening if you will - of a new festive Gacha event called Winter Gacha Festival. Pretty easy one to remember that huh?! At 12PM SLT you can begin, once again to gacha to your hearts content with some awesome stores - not that I can name names because I'd hate to miss someone out! Just keep your eyes open, I will be blogging some of the lovely things available there over the next few days!

Sometimes a girl has to sneak out by the side door, for a few moments peace... A few days ago I got some very weird news in my RL and it's kinda left me in a state of limbo. I don't know how to feel and I need to sneak away to have some me time, so I think I'll let my hair down and sneak off to a party!
The news I had is not the sort that you ever expect to hear... One of my old friends from university has gone missing... He hasn't been seen or heard from since October 13th, and that seems to go totally against the grain of his normal everyday personality...
Now I know I haven't seen this friend for a while, but it still feels very strange that he has just disappeared and no one has heard from him for a whole week...

So I am sneaking out, avoiding any sign of potential drama and running away to let my hair down... I need to be free, and if this is the way that I have to do it, don't tell anyone you've seen me will you hehe... 
I pulled on a dress in an amazing blue colour... This one is from erratic, and it is still available until tomorrow - October 23rd - at Uber, and although I am wearing the blue it comes in a range of different colours. I accessorised my - what you may say Look of the Day outfit - with some OLD but still cute accessories! The purse in it's contrast colour from [HANDverk] - shows how old it is, as the store has been IeQED for ages now - and a cute necklace from [ glow ] studio. 
Time to let my hair down, I just hope I don't have any bad news to share with you in the next few days!

A Look of the Day for my Shadow and Me

A second post today... Woot I'm on a roll... Luckily work is quiet, and I was pre-prepped with some cute pictures to share with you hehe...
This one is on a similar theme as the last one, though perhaps theme is the wrong term here, more that there is a similarity between that last one and this because I'm using another Exposeur Prop that my sister Solde has out for us to play with... This time it's more of a Sartorial Showcase hehe...

OK so if you're like me you had to check out what Sartorial meant... I'm not ashamed to admit that I did anyway, and for those of you too stubborn to check I'll let you know that it's a term relating to clothes, more specifically tailoring!
Now I know that I'm not wearing much but HEY it's a form of tailoring, all that cutting of the leather and braiding it together right?! It's actually a pretty old outfit now too... A harness style, Bitch, top from DirtyStories and a pair of baggy leather pants from Yasum with a super cute detail on the butt, it's the perfect outfit for a biker girl like me...
It's biker fashion at it's finest, least I think so hehe... Guess I just made my look of the day for today hehe...

Dancing with the Balloons

So yesterday I posted something darker and a little more menacing, I was in that kind of mind frame and wanted to get it off my chest with a little horror, but today I feel better and once again it's time to use my blog to express that... It's so much like being on a rollercoaster at times, I mean some days you're up and feel like you could touch the sky and others, well that takes you to dark places that you shouldn't be airing with the world...
Though I feel like dancing and floating and being the happy go lucky Rudh again, and today I want to dance with you...

I love this picture, the colours are SO pretty and feminine that I feel like I am in a different head after the picture I shared yesterday lol... I wonder how my different personalities fit together in my brain?!
Today is all about pretty and girlieness... The set that I have used to take this photograph in exudes pretty, feminity and opulence all at once... Setting up a party of silver and gold balloons - because yes they are that colour, though the windlight makes things look a little pinkish - is the fault of Exposeur, the mastermind behind the Room of Balloons pose prop...
Then if the set wasn't girlie enough just look at what I chose to wear LOL... The dress is gorgeous, and the front is cute with it's ruffles but the back is HOT with the corset lacing that runs from the shoulders to the pert bottom! It's one of those original creations by Dead Dollz - my favourite store for all things formal - though you need to head to The Fantasy Collective to get your hands on it for now, and then you have to decide between the 4 different colour options, so good luck my friends hehe... While we are on the theme of TFC then perhaps I should also mention these amazing REIGN pumps, the Deadly Pumps... I went with a pretty gray colour rather than my normal grabbing of black but they are so cute I might have to go get some more hehe... The bows and the skulls can be coloured individually via a HUD so no matter which shoe colour you chose you have options!
So, to finish, dancing shoes... Check! Pretty Dress... Check! Anyone want to party?

Through the Keyhole

With Rudh what you see is what you get, I'm a barbie doll but in everything else I am the same as I am in RL. I act the same, I talk the same and she has my emotions... So after all this time in the crazy mixed-up world that is SL, why do I still find myself surprised by the actions of others? People hiding behing their avatar, barely a faint glow of their real personality coming "through the keyhole"... Now I will admit - and have no trouble in doing so - that what you see through my keyhole may not be as glam or as barbiefied as Rudh, but she is a part of me. The way people hide behind their avatars does baffle me a little, especially when they feel it's OK to tell a total stranger to die... Would they do that in RL? What brings people to feel they can be harsh to someone just because they are anonymous? What would you see looking through their keyhole?!

Through Rudh's Keyhole today I'm going to let you into the darker and more sordid areas of her mind... It's time for a special kind of party hehe...
Lingerie clad, and heels on her feet, she clings to a bottle of Champagne while she lures you into the darkness...
One of those areas of my brain that never gets accessed very often, the darker and seedier side, but this prop just screamed a little dark and seedy - A Keyhole prop from Exposeur let me create this shot... I added the contents of the keyhole myself, so I wonder what would I see in your keyhole?! - especially when you think of the people that hide behind their avatars and act like children... What they don't realise is that OK they are "playing" a horrible character in SL, but that would actually say a fair bit about their RL attitude as well surely... A dulled down version perhaps, but it's hard to keep up a game for too long, and you will one day reveal your true self... Maybe when someone is looking through the keyhole!

Standing in the Doorway

It seems that the Summer is almost over and Autumn is rolling in fast. I LOVE Autumn, love love love it... I cannot get enough of the chilly days, the colours of nature and the fact that it's a chance to start snuggling up to stay warm! Though I cannot help myself trying to catch the last few rays of the season... 

The door is an AMAZING pose prop that was available at The Gacha Garden - YES I KNOW it was a long time ago now, but I'm sorry I had to share the pose with you and you can still get your hands on it at the Exposeur mainstore! These doors come in about 5 different colour combinations, AND there are differing styles of doors too... I got lucky and got the one I wanted first try but there are so many gorgeous combinations!! Although I will let you know now, I put the candles there myself, the candles do not come with the prop! 
I had no idea what I was going to wear with this prop though... I was in the dark... Until I went to the Fantasy Gacha Carnival - Yes I know that has closed too! - and found the booth of Moon Amore, which is fast becoming an addiction store of mine by the way hehe... The gacha was stuffed full of these amazing Lashkmi outfit parts, and OH MY GOSH I got a rare full set on the second try! I finished the look with a pair of HOLLYHOOD Romano Sandals and a crown from Kibitz and the look was PERFECT! 
Just perfect to catch those last rays of summer sunshine!
