Marshmallows at the Camp Fire

Today was a day off for me, I was able to lay back and take things a little easy... I did a little shopping in SL, and found some time to sort some of my hugely messy inventory, then I parked my butt in front of a roaring campfire and decided that the garden was the perfect place to go 'glamping'... It's closer to my own toilet than camping anywhere else would be, and I do so prefer to use my own loo... 

Of course, because Rudh is a diva, she doesn't do regular camping... I've also been campling just the once in RL and I'd never do that again, I hated every moment of it lol... So when she decided to go camping it had to be done in a less camping and more glamping kinda way! A full-sized bed in a Backcountry Tent - from Trompe Loeil - and some comfy Campin Chairs - from Junk Food - close to the fire as she both watched in awe and dodged the fireflies that were freed from the Fairy Jars to make the light twinkle!
While we're on the subject of Junk Food though, have you tried their delicious Marshmallows? They are perfect for toasting around the campfire...

Arise from the Grave

 When wandering through the graveyard at night, beware the sound of crying... A woman's wailing can be a bad omen indeed. Not all crying women in graveyards are in mourning... Some may have risen from the dead to haunt the living!

There's an open grave in darkest corner of the graveyard, you'll find a simple burial that was recently looted by tomb raiders. The unearthing of the remains caused more than one issue - I mean grave robbing was a problem, but this was the grave of a vengeful spirit and now, she's out for blood... 
She's a beautiful spirit, in her deadly nature, but her floating dress - a gift from Dead Doll - and the green mist-like aura - from Cole's Corner - and even her macabre tiara - a Persephone crown from LYBRA - and the sounds of her crying will lure you to your doom...

The Host Has Now Left You!

I'm in one of those moods right now, where I want to be very dark and macabre... Nothing else will seem to do for my mood, and no matter what I try to do to get myself out of it the mood looks like it is sticking. So today you get another look into my dark and scary side. I've had so many things going on in my mind as of late and you may have guessed that I am not in the happiest of moods but I count myself lucky that I have a place like my blog where I can release my inner demons every once in a while - it's a great way to give your mind a little wiggle room I think...

When it comes to wiggle room, especially while I am thinking of my dark and macabre mood, one of my favourite recent purchases is an outfit from Lybra. The Host Gown - and it's matching but sold separately Hood - is available from the latest round of Momento Mori and it really sums up my feelings right now.
Needing to be restrained in case I do something a bit stupid, dark and a little dead perhaps, with a subtle hint towards the voodoo doll vibe, that can be enhanced with the simple addition of the Violetility Voodoo Doll Heart Pins - that are also available at Momento Mori this month. She has been left chained up in her padded room, with just the bugs for company - the DISORDERLY Roaches that inhabit her tea cup and the random.Matter Moth chained to her wrist.
