Let's make today F*cking Perfect!

I have had the day off today and it's been lovely... I had planned to get a few things done but that was NEVER going to happen considering the mood that I was in. I have been in a bit of a meh place when it comes to blogging lately, I am and may still be in a bit of a rut for a while, but for some reason I just cannot get myself into the game... I'm sorry for that... I am trying, and will keep trying, and today I had to force myself to get into the right mind set... 

I decided to get myself into some blogging and try to pass the blogging rut... I had on an outfit that made me feel a Marie Antoinette gone modern, Pink Ladyish Barbie... I have been living in this outfit and felt that it NEEDED to be shared and it could definitely help me make the cogs start moving... 
The outfit started because of the top from the Elyn Set - from miss chelsea - with a few perfectly placed accessories and some tight black pants... It was a great start, and I decided that another great start would need something to sustain me I went onto the terrace at the Delmonte Villas - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - where I helped myself to a Fucking Perfect Small Cup of Coffee - which was released by Boutique #187 at Astrophe - lit a cigarette and then played the game of what jam would I have on my fresh croissant... What Jam flavour would you choose?!

Elegantly Lazy

I've been on holiday for almost two weeks now, and I'm still feeling totally tired. Maybe that's because, at least for this week, I've been lounging around at home not doing much of anything. Don't they say that idolness makes the sloth feeling worse?!
Still you know what, I've got two more days off, and then I'm on a 5 day stretch so I'm going to enjoy being a lazy butt while I can... 

I look like a terrible mess whilst I'm lazing around, pyjamas on, cuppa tea in hand and a book under my nose, but Rudh... She's a very different story, she never likes to do things in a way that aren't worth looking at. Even when she's being lazy, she's doing it in style... 
Today's relaxation outfit is on the luxury, decadent and almost sexy kind of style... Soft white lace and the most gorgeous string of pearls that form the Psyche Rose Necklace - which was created by Insomnia Angel and is available until Midnight Order - with a rose that perfectly matches those of her Pink Rose Sleeve tattoos - from Adora-tions. 
Whereas I'm found with my nose in a book being lazy, Rudh likes to pose elegantly and smoke a cigarette in her pretty little Roses Cigarette Holer - from Boutique #187 at the new event 13th Street that runs until August 26th... Isn't she the perfect Diva?!

Moths love the Lamplight!

It's been a while since I've had a craving to take a chance to do something a little magical. For some reason, I've been finding it hard to focus on blogging lately and have not been able to get in the zone and dip my toes into the fantastical world... 
Today though, as the lights started going down and lamps were lit, the magic of the night starts to come to life.. As beautiful as their daytime counterparts, the moths are the silent dancers of the night's sky... Guardians of the Night Fae, and the messengers of the Eagles, and serenly ghost-like...

Everyone knows that Moths are drawn to the light, they dance from the darkness and seek out any source... The Lanterns in the garden providing the softest of glows, the twinkling into the darkness and as the song goes, my lamp light brings all the "moths to the yard"...

The Beauty on the Mantelpiece

The Midnight Order releases all kinds of magic into the Second Life universe, and the beauty of the midnight hour is definitely where the sparkles are left to glitter in the dark... 
While going through a box of treasures left at the Midnight Order, I found the most amazingly beautiful bust that simply had to come out into the light and be placed amongst the treasures on my mantlepiece... 

The Mantelpiece in the Vintage Room - a backdrop from TROPIX - I have an old fireplace with a HUGE mantlepiece that I scatter with some of the most gorgeous antique, and somewhat magical treasures... The treasures are filled with so much magic and light, that even the cobwebs are left to sparkle... 
The Bust that I found will definitely sit pretty in the middle of the decorations, she's a soft blue porcelain decorated with deeper blue enamel - thanks to the Fallen Gods Inc at Midnight Order - and lace, jewellery and feathers and the most beautiful wig - from S-CLUB also at Midnight Order...

The Monster Within

It's been another busy day at work... There has been a lot of nonsense from people that seem to think that they know better than me about a subject I deal with on a daily basis, and think they have the answers to questions I answer about a million times per day... It brings out the monster in me. I feel like Dr.Jekyll sometimes, feeling frustrated and as that boils up I have to duck into the office to release Mrs Hyde... I think I prefer the Mrs Hyde version of me sometimes... 

This outfit was something that I had played around with when the Engine Room was around but due to all of the scary looks I've been playing with, Mrs Hyde, who is similar to Frankenstein's Monster in her crazy steampunkish way. 
She wanders through the KILLER rooms - a backdrop from PALETO - where all of her scientific equipment is dotted around the halls and the remnants of her experiments are left in a mess on the floor...

Prepping for the Midnight Ball

Work is SUPER busy at the moment. I've never seen so many people buying cheese on a hot day like today, especially on a Wednesday - traditionally the quietest day of the week - and I've been running around and around, talking to crazy people... I wanted nothing more than a chance to get home and shower then put my feet up, but poor little Rudhie had other plans.

Tonight she'd gotten work at a very special party and it wasn't the kind of gala to miss... A chance to see the elite of the Midnight Order at the Masquerade Ball, in their beautifully, dark glory - even if I'm only able to be there as a waitress... 
Of course, it couldn't be a normal waitressing gig, I HAD to fit the beautiful theme of the ball and wear the elaborate costume of a dark maid, to deliver the tray of delicious Holy Blood Cocktails to the beautiful guests of the Midnight Order. 
Her outfit is a simple Quintina Dress and crisp white collar - from Kiru - decorated with an Aurora Leather Collar - from ANATAYA -  and a super pretty but Bloody Rose Collar - from HARU. Anything above that is just perfectly glamorous, Rudh's hair has been done in a beautiful "Emily" up-do hairstyle, which comes with the gorgeous eyepatch, and some not worn hair accessories - from S-CLUB - with a gorgeous Solaris Crown - from Decoy, available at Collabor88 until August 6th - and some of the most awesome eyeliner and face painted freckles - from GERMINAL.
