She's a Rein... Deer...

Another day in the festive period, another Christmassy look to try and find that festive feeling that I am craving so much... Of course I'm going to approach this in my way and there MAY be a little more of the darker, twisted Krampus side to some of my Christmas looks this year, but that's never a bad thing... A little darkness never hurt anyone, right?! 

Today we're doing some snooping around at Santa's place. There is a HUGE amount of rooms here, some with more Christmas decor than others, but you never know who you will meet as you wander the halls... 
We have bumped into someone who is a little bit of a superstar around here, she's one of the super 9, one of Santa's reindeer... Her name is Vixen for a reason, she's a kinky little deer but she's one of Santa's favourites at the North Pole...

Last Minute Shopping for those Last Minute Gifts

I have been stuck so deep in RL, it's been crazy since the start of the week, and while working in retail at this time of year can be fun it can also be super crazy busy, and people can be more than a little obnoxious. I never thought I'd be horrible to someone in retail but having experienced it in reality, on the receiving end, it's no wonder that people hate working in retail at this time of year... 
Still, there's only one shopping day left before Christmas, and I have a couple of things that I need to get, so I'll pop out to the shops, trudge through the snow and disappeared into the shops... 

The shops have some of the most wonderful window displays like the pretty little scene declaring "Santa Stop Here" - a sign that I shrunk down to fit in the scene from Krescendo - whilst I warmed up with a delicious cup of fresh Christmas Expresso - from Junk Food - complete with it's adorable little elf hat and handy candy cane to stir it with. 
I was so lost in plans for the holidays and looking into the shop window that I almost missed my friendly Prezzie Bear - from Tardfish until the end of today at Tannenbaum - stumbling around on the sled... I had to jump fast to catch him and the gifts from falling into the snow... Cant risk a little friend like him getting hurt so close to Christmas...

If The Rings Match...

I know that I have lots of ideas of things that I want to do for blogging rolling around in my mind, waiting for the possibility that I'd be able to bring them to life and there are SO MANY different outfits and pretty things that I want to share, now that I'm running slow after the operation, I don't really know where I need to start LOL... 
I think that today, I'm going to slow my roll and show off an outfit that I've been wearing a lot because I'm in love with it... I guess you'd call it a 'Look of the Day"... 

I decided to take a moment, in the halls of the apartment building that I was checking out - they actually happen to be the backdrop called "Halloween Night" from Paleto - and admired myself in the glass windows... I LOVE this combination of the amazing CryBunBun "Disco Baby" Pants and the "Eira" Top, from miss chelsea, as the rings seem to work so perfectly together...

A Trip to the North Pole

Counting down the days till work is done and the Christmas holiday can begin... I'm still no feeling very festive, I can't really get into the mood... What am I going to do? Wha can I do to make things more Christmassy in my head?! I've tried all the things... Eating the goodies, singing the songs, and watching the movies... There's nothing that seems to be working properly... 
Maybe... Just maybe, a  trip to a certain snowy village and a meeting with a man in red, might be a good idea?

I headed on over to The Main Event, where the Snow Daze are getting a little festive... I decided that this was the best place for the meeting I was planning with the big man in red... I even got myself all dressed up to bend in with his workers, yes it was a little deceptive, but do you know how hard it is to get a meeting with the real Santa Clause at this time of year... 
I wore the awesome Falalalala Set - from 1313 Mockingbird Lane at The Arcade - maybe it doesn't match with the other elves... It did however, get me into a meeting with the big man, and he helped me feel better about the Christmas feeling. I sat on his knee and he even let me leave with a special present... The World is heading for Apocalypse...

Maybe you've seen it in the news, or maybe you haven't, but there has been a lot of dramatic things happening in my neck of the world. The world seems to be going through some bad times, even without the ever present Covid in the background, yet here in the Netherlands we seem to be tipping into something that left uchecked could become a civil war... There have been riots in the major cities, protests against Covid rules that has turned to violence and frankly, things are getting a little scary... 

Who knows what the future will hold, but at the moment it feels ore than a little dodgy in the land I call home... It almost feels a little like civil war could be on the way, as people don't seem to be willing to follow the rules set in place by the Government. I understand that people are tired of these things, I know that I hate not being able to get home to family, but surely if we all take these things seriously then there is more chance that the virus will be eradicated... 
Let's hope it doesn't get to the bombs being dropped, but for now I'm going to hide at home as much as I can and just play with my amazing clothes in a safer place like SL... Never did I think I'd find SL to be the safe place...

A Little Ray of Pitch Black

Halloween is now officially over and that means that for many people, the spookies will be stashed away in closets until next year... It's not going to be the case for me, I love the spookies, but then many people might say I've always been a little weird lol... I like it that way!!
I might not be dressing up in full on costumes at the moment, but I'm liking letting my dark little dead doll side out to play... 

I'd been playing in other ways too though this month, and was super excited that this Halloween saw the return of the ever brilliant Pulse Games, with their Cutting Class Game!!! The best Halloween event, aside from the Dark Adventures because I'm biased about that one, by far this month!!
While on the hunt through the game, the little dead doll I am had to find herself in an adorable outfit... I guess you might call this a look-of-the-day, and technically as we're talking about Pulse Games we can focus on the adorable Sn@tch Wrong Crop tops, which come in a set and have both cute Halloween and non-Halloweeny slogans on - these are available until the end of today at Trick or Treat Lane! Ducks in the Tub

 Been working on the garden today in my corner of Second Life... It's time to start harvesting and my garden is looking wonderful... All those lovely fruits and veggies ready to be harvested, and the pretty leaves on the trees changing colour and scattering all over the place that need to be raked up... 
I did a little yard work, and then snuck into the barn to watch my cute little duckies in the tub!

My family of ducks had gotten into the barn that's now filled with soft warm hay - thanks to the Harvest Hay Set from hive - and were splashing about in my hillbilly hot tub - from brocante - making lots of cute little quaking noises! I had to dip my feet into the water and join the fun.

An Extra Smoke Break

It's finally Saturday... I've been stuck in lock down for a week now, and although I'm trying to keep myself busy I still find myself feeling just a little crazy being at home. I want to go out to work, and I'm at that point where I miss being at work - never thought I'd be saying that! 
Even Rudh is determined to get out, she's sneaking down to the parking garage, as we speak, for a sneaky cigarette...

It's looking a lot like Rain, Dear!

One of my favourite jokes for Christmas time, is when you see someone looking out of the window as Santa flies by on his sleigh, and they utter the words "It looks like Rain, Dear!" It's a silly old joke, one that my Grandfather used to do every year, but it still makes me smile as I think of it! 
So, because of this, every year I try to do something reindeer related so I can tell people, look it's Rain Dear! 

This year I got EXTREMELY lucky when it came to Reindeer because not only did Jian set their Reindeer collection up for the Saturday Sale at a whopping discount for only 75L, but also 1313 MockingBird Lane, made an amazeballs gacha collection for the new round of The Epiphany called Blitzen! Santa's Favourite Little Ho

Santa Claus is coming to town... It's the time when all the girls on the naughty list, knowing they won't necessarily getting anything in their stocking... Maybe though if they get into some stockings they might get a little something from the big man that they would prefer... The kind of treats that the bad girls like! Maybe she can be Santa's favourite Ho Ho Ho!

She's already sitting there waiting, watching for the appearance of the big man in Red, who just happened to forget his famous fur coat - a past gift from villena - the last time that he visited.

Date Night with Teddy!

I feel like I've been being good for far too long... I'll be honest, I wanted to test to see what different types of photos could do in terms of bringing in interest from followers on Flickr, but it feels a little like I'm not being overly true to myself and my form of therapy so it's back to doing whatever I want to do to make myself smile... TODAY, it's something a little naughty, though the smile will come from the fact that I know pictures like this make my Daddy reach for his gun - not to shoot anyone that looks at me, but more likely to shoot me for giving him a panic attack LOL!

On her way out to PARTY!

It's officially the weekend, and while HellBone and her SL parents are away doing fun things in RL so I should be letting my hair down and partying, but I'm being a good girl and am just sitting at home working... 
Rudh on the other hand is using it as an excuse to let her inner party girl free. She jumped in a cab and is riding all the way to the party, not just any cab I should add, this one is the car of a luxurious party girl lifestyle, complete with bottles of champagne!

Feisty but Soft too!

Having one of those weeks at the moment where I'm not feeling very sociable, more wishing I could be alone than feeling like being surrounded by people. It's not anyone's fault, I'm just not in a happy place and need some quiet time. My version of quiet time means LOUD music and no one to talk to... Is that weird?! That also means putting together an outfit and taking some time out to take pictures...
It's definitely put me into a bit of a feisty, defiant and dare I say bitchy mood?!

I guess you might say it's a look of the day for me, since this is an outfit that was put together for the pure love of dressing my barbie doll rather than as a need to showcase something by one of the awesome designers that I blog for. Not that it's anything bad, as I only blog what I really love, but sometimes it's nice to just make a look for myself rather than for someone else. 
I fell in love with this dress after seeing it advertised by the creator, FurtaCor, on Flickr. I love the feisty creativity of the texture used - it screams LOOK AT ME but at the same time DON'T FUCK WITH ME! 
After that it was just a case of making my look to fit my dress... I went a little badgirl in style, but it was helped a lot by a new hair release from RunAway called Ary - which you can grab now too at Collabor88 - the rest of the outfit was just trimmings!!!

OK OK Grand Adventure is on hold... Right now I seem to be heading into the first mammoth pile of drama for the new year. There's some bubbling under the surface, and I'm wondering how long it will take to boil over! 
I've decided that in line with the new year, and the decisions I made, I'm not gonna be letting that happen... Right now I'm already starting with the BYE, Fuck Off feeling... 

The plans for a grand adventure will just have to wait a little, while I deal with things... The bad stuff can get on the bus, and fuck off... The stop is at Backdrop City, and it's the start of the road for those that need to hit it...

Sparkly Fairy Wands

Christmas is the season of pretty, fairytale magic it seem... Everything sparkles and looks so festive. It will never be as awesome as the Halloween season for me, but I still cant help loving Christmas. I love all things sparkly, magical and fairytaleish but I'm going to share something now that seems kinda silly... I am scared of fireworks... I think it's the explosion, but I actively avoid them because of this, yet there is a specific firework I do love and it's the Sparkler!! See, I wasn't crazy when I was rambling about sparkles LOL, I had a point to make...

I still see you!!

I'm at home in the UK... I didn't really think that I'd be getting much in the way of blogging done, in fact I even warned everyone that I'd be gone for the week, but actually whilst I am working I have a little time to sit down and share some of my blogging thoughts with everyone. I'm feeding my addiction whilst getting paid and still being able to chat to my mum across the room... IT'S GREAT!!
So today I'm being a little more of a big kid than normal, which frankly sounds kinda funny but it's the way being at home makes me feel... I'm also here with a warning to someone I'm very close to in SL...

The Weird Chick from the Funeral Home!

We all have to work right, at least the majority of us do, and Monday Morning can in some cases be one of the days you wish would just fast forward! I love my jobs, the work that I do is always fun and the challenges I face are things that help me better myself! Yet, when I was younger before I started having dreams of becoming an Archaeologist - not that I'm actually using my degree now by the way - I wanted to be a mortician! That like the Archaeology thing, hasn't really been the direction life went in but I'm not gonna complain! 
So now, Rudh is going to help live out my dream a little... She's going to be that weird, kooky chick that works at the Funeral Home... 

Basically I was playing around with an outfit - a look of the day if you will - but it seemed so perfect as an outfit that said kooky chick in the funeral home might wear and well that's what it became, especially since I found myself looking at it against the [noctis] Harrowgate Funeral Home Collection - available now at ECLIPSE in separate pieces or as a fatpack!!
In fact, while we're on the subject of ECLIPSE, let me tell you a little about my "look-of-the-day" outfit... The shoes with their socks are a release from peculiar things called "Lydia", I'll admit they aren't really my usual style but I actually LOVE THEM! So cute, and available in pretty patterns - but yes I went for the basic black option! I wore them with some fishnets and an amazing dress released by PSYCHO.Byts for Tannenbaum called "Aradia". I'll admit I'm putting going into Tannenbaum off for a little while, I cannot handle Christmas JUST YET and it's open till December 22nd so I have time, but yeah, it's NOVEMBER and therefore way too early for me to think about Christmas! 
Anyway, I'm a little jealous of Rudh going to work in the mortuary today, but I better go cut the cheese so I hope she has fun and doesn't get too many tips from the dead!

Attacked in a Sharknado!

So a couple of days ago, my Bestie Manky and I were doing some Halloween Exploring... There's an event called The Forgotten, which last year I loved and used more than once as a photo backdrop, and was excited to hear they have a new event for this year! The Forgotten is back with new themes and scares, and I really enjoyed exploring it with my bestiface! 
While we were walking through I got more than a little excited by one scene... I HAD to go back and take pictures, I was mesmerised... It's SHARKS in a TORNADO - in the film Sharknado... 

I had to play dress up for the part, I had to get into a Sharknado character style mood, and was very lucky to have the perfect item all into my grubby little hands... 
It seems poor little Rudh has already been caught in the storm, attacked by one of the sharks, her arm has been ripped off and she's covered in blood! 
Isn't this jacket so awesome?! It's a current group gift from villena, a pay to join group with a price tag of 100L but look at this jacket it's so worth that! The Zombae Jacket is part of a joint release with some hideous make-ups from Bossie! Soon as I saw this on Flickr I KNEW I had to have it, but it just seemed to happen at exactly the right time for the Sharknado discovery... It was like it was meant to be LOL...

Morning, it's Time for Bed!

Today is one of those days... The kinda day you feel like hiding and not coming out, yet you force yourself to keep going no matter what. Nothing seems to be going right, I feel like I'm coming down with my second cold of the season ALREADY and I just want to sleep more than anything else. Yet I'm trying to be good, I'm trying to keep moving and hoping that there is a spark somewhere that livens things up?!
Rudh on the other hand...

She's been out partying to try and liven things up, and apparently is having to do the walk of shame down a seedy hotel corridor as the cleaning staff start their morning rounds.

A Thug Wife's Bad Language

She's the secretary of a biker club, the wife of an MC President, and is well... A little deranged sometimes. A kinky girl, a dark macabre kinda girl, and one that knows people who shouldn't be messed with, but does that make Rudh a bit of a Bad Ass? 
Honestly, as of late, I feel anything but bad ass... I feel more like I've been walked all over and stomped into a pulp because of other people's actions, but the bad ass in me is determined not to let that bring her down, this time! 
Instead, she's going to step back and take a breath. Light herself a cigarette and flick the bird at the pathetic people who walked out of her life for messed up reasons and move on... 

My big sister, the awesome Racey of Ghost Bullys MC, has been designing stuff in her little store - Pretty Sexy Things - for a while and sometimes, when I'm a really good girl I get magical gifts appearing in my grubby little hands... 
Today's gift is the somewhat naughty little Babe Bodysuit, which clearly shows off my Thug Wife (LOL) Lifestyle!
