Fireworks Night... Make the Sky Light Up!

Remember, Remember the fifth of November... Gun powder, Treason and Plot.. I see no reason why Gun Powder treason, should ever be forgot.. 
It's the 5th of November, and for the UK that means it's Bonfire Night, or more historically correct Guy Fawkes Night. A memorial day in which bonfires are lit, effigys of a Guy Fawkes are set on fire and fireworks light the night sky to remember the plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament... 
I'm not a fan of fireworks in RL, because I hate the loud bangs - yes I'm a wuss - but they are pretty to watch through the window... 

Rudh on the other hand, marched up to the roof of the apartment building - a backdrop from Synnergy a "Nighttime Rooftop" - armed with a box of fireworks and a tub of sparklers for a little Fireworks night fun... 
Sparklers are so pretty but I think that the find for me today was the Fireworks - which actually come from a Particle Typer from ZARK - I wanted fireworks but most were too huge and too far away, these make the PERFECT photo prop!!

When the Light goes out...

Today has been a nightmare and it got to the point where I felt like I wanted to just run away and hide in the dark.. People everywhere and all of them demanding my attention all at once, I swear I can still hear all of their voices in my head. Now that I'm home, I'm wanting to hide in the dark... 
The little Demon in me is taking charge of my mind, wanting to enjoy this little nightmare... That was until the light appeared through the window at the end of the hall, and blew out my little light in the dark... 

I was left holding the candle - available from random.Matter - that had been blown out as the light appeared, and I was left in an eerily weird half-dark...

Familiarly Changing Faces

Do you ever find yourself looking in the mirror, and hating what you see looking back at you? Do you ever think that you'd like to look more like your Second Life Avatar in RL, or is it just your dolly looking back at you?
Normally Rudh is an extension of me, she's my Barbie Doll... I love everything about the way I've let her become, but sometimes I get paranoid, I over-think and I wonder would my life be any different if I was more like the petite little doll I live through in Second Life... It makes a girl wonder, ya know?!

Rudh still get's worried about the way she looks, I love my face, I love my shape... No matter how many people tell me that I need to change things about myself - the other day I was even told my butt wasn't right - but that kind of thing happens so much in RL. I hate that people try to change others when they themselves are not perfect in the eyes of another... 
I'm sorry but you don't tell me how to look... You don't tell me what I'm supposed to do with my avatar, if I want to make myself look different that's up to me.

You'd never guess that it's February and almost Valentines, the way that I'm being more dark and twisted than pretty valentine romace, but meh who needs the flying little wing baby anyway. I am loving being dark and twisted, and isn't Valentines about doing the things that you love hehe... 
Now I heard that more and more people are getting the injection to protect against  Covid, but there are more people that are against it too, it's the injection that will zombify us all, in fact it's your turn to see the Nurse... 

The nurse will see you now... Just watch your step and please pay no mind to the lost souls of Lilith's Den and the Tainted Lovers that seek their lost hearts. Their empty rib cages bared as they attempt to find their lost loves, roaming the halls of the hospital. 
Our dead nurse waits in the corridor shot in her hand, is it a vaccine, or is it something a little more deadly... Are you willing to take the risk? Her crazy red eyes - from Suicidal Unborn - glaring from the dark. Is that due to the blood lust that she's sharing all over her uniform, or could it be something contained within the medicines she seems to be playing with... The Father's Spookshow Medicinal Pills all over her face,seeping the toxins within into her skin. She's already showing signs of being sick... Moths Love the Light

 I'm hiding in the darkness today and I'm waiting for the lights to go out... I want to sleep and hide from the bad thoughts going around in my head but my mind is like a moth to a flame and I'm being drawn back towards the thoughts that I so deeply want to hide from. 

I guess when I'm in a mood like this though, it's when the best kind of photos happen, and I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this picture right now! 
I fell in love with the body part the moment I saw it shared on facebook, and got even luckier by winning it on my first try of the gacha machine at Lootbox... Unleash the Death Goat

It's getting late in the day, and I've really taken the idea of a Lazy Sunday and made it super lazy, but then I was struck with the idea of wanting to do something bloggerlicious, and well it felt kinda a good idea to do a little look of the day... Now I warn you I'm not so good at these, but when an outfit makes you happy, why not share it with everyone?! 

Granted I look a little more slutalicious than normal - I mean I don't usually tend to walk around with my nip nips on show, but I LOVE this look, and it's too good not to share, at least I think so anyway!!!

I pulled a Cynful cardigan on - in an attempt to look less naughty - and added a collar and chain from GABRIEL which I guess didn't help lol...

Lollipops from the Nurse

I've actually been feeling pretty good... No headaches - though I'm knocking on wood as I say that - and I'm dancing... Things seem to be starting to get back to normal-ish, I mean the progress is still slow, but that doesn't mean we're out of the woods yet. I mean Europe may be opening but there's a lot of places in the world that are still locked up tight... Even the monsters out there in the dark and still being cautious, going to see the Living Dead Nurses in the Hospitals of Hell for a shot... 

The plus side, once you've been a good little monster and had a shot from the Vile Syringe - a !Reliquary! Spiders in the Dark

It's been a LONG HOT and STRESSFUL Week and finally for me, my weekend is upon me, though this morning I had a very big shock in RL. It's not every day that you wake up and find someone, who has been running from the police, sleeping in your backyard. I hadn't even had a chance to make some coffee yet, I was just about to throw open the back door and THERE HE WAS! 
I get totally freaked out, although I'm not really afraid of them, by Spiders... Something TINY! Yet this was a real adult male! It was such a huge shock... For now I'll be a lot less worried about Spiders sneaking around! 

Spiders like to live in dark places - not all I'll grant you - but there are a lot that do! That includes the Princess of the Web! Black Widows have NOTHING on this devil of a spider that walks the earth in human form! The tricks of her trade worn like jewellery over her dainty frame! Don't let looks deceive you, it's what the Black Widow wants... 
I have to admit to you, aside from the shock and wanting to do something a little dark this morning to cheer myself up, I am TOTALLY in love with these Webbed Earrings from Zombie Suicide. They were released at the last round of AnyBody, but they are so gorgeous that I hope even if you cannot get them at the event location anymore you will be able to get them at the mainstore!

Love for Lost Saints

Have you ever fallen in love at first sight?! Found that something or someone you cannot bare to be without?! Well, I guess this is the time to admit to one of those things! It's probably not what you think either! In my case, it's not a someone, it's a something!!

Before you get too excited, no it's NOT HellBone - although I love him, and somehow almost over night he's become for less of a better word "PHWOAR". For a moment though I want to share my thoughts on him in this picture, is it just me or does he look like a Hot Jesus?! 
The love at first sight moment has actually come from the outfit that I - and in fact the majority of HellBone's outfit too - am wearing! Drinks at Tram Diner

It's not often that I get to spend time with HellBone - for those of you that don't know, he's my hubby - Barbosa, in fact it's less frequent than the ECLIPSE at the moment, but when we do it's nice to just be a couple and not have to worry about RL or SL dramatics... Hell and I have been married for 5 years in RL, after meeting in SL, we don't always have the easiest of relationships but we're united and there's love, and that's what matters at the end of the day right?! 
So for the soon to happen close of the ECLIPSE, HellBone and I stopped at one of those grungy diners and had a few shots of Tequila!!! 

The grungy diner is actually pretty cool, it's one of those old Trams - an ECLIPSE release from DRD - that have been converted to form a retro looking restaurant! They serve junk food and tequila - thanks to a pose from Secret Poses - it was nice to just hang out, and force him to sit still for a few moments while I used him as a model! 
Of course he has his moments, kept trying to interrupt me every time I was about to take a shot of Tequila. I'm not sure if he wanted it all for himself but in the end it was a case of "Wait!" LOL... Drinking buddies are best when they don't come between you and your shot!

A Sprinkling of Salt

OK SO, I don't want to rant but I can feel myself building one up and I guess it's better to let it out in a productive way rather than let it sit so I mull over it and end up in an even bigger mess than when I started!
Today's rant is about me, it's not aimed at anyone and shouldn't be taken as anything other than me just venting steam but it's something that seems to rear it's ugly head on occasion and it makes me into a very grumpy, somewhat depressed - I guess you could say Salty?! - kind of girl... 

I guess what it all comes down to is the fact that I see so many people on Flickr getting hundreds of likes for their pictures and I find myself questioning, doubting, wondering what I'm doing wrong and if there is something I should be doing differently. I know that it's bad to do that, I know I shouldn't be comparing myself to anyone else but sometimes it's hard not to. There are so many people taking amazing pictures out there with such variety of styles, but I bring myself down to a point where I'm about to give up sometimes. It's all because I'm not getting the number of likes I'd want on Flickr... Silly huh?! It's a massive numbers game, a popularity contest and sometimes when I'm really low it feels like I'm losing, but that's not really the point of what I do here is it?!
For me my blog is all about relaxation and therapy - of sorts - I sit here and take pictures, write and feel like the weight is lifted off my shoulders. I know I may not be the best blogger or photographer out there, but I do what I love and if other people enjoy it then that's great! I have to keep telling myself that like a mantra, I have to stop caring about the fact that other people's pictures always seem more "popular" than my pictures and to be honest, I have to stop worrying about what other people are getting and focus on taking the pictures that I know will make myself happy... 
I'm gonna just sprinkle some salt on it... I'm done being salty and complaining and feeling like I'm not good enough... I'm gonna do me, and good luck to everyone else...

A Dead Nurse to bring the Pain

I'm having one of those days when things are pretty boring LOL... I know it sounds terrible and that I shouldn't complain but I NEED some kind of a distraction and it's only a matter of time before the evil in me decides to rear it's kinda cute head... I've been heard telling people that the happier I am the more the Living Dead Girl side of me pops up, but I think today I just wanted to do something that would make me smile, and well folks... She's It! 
Today she's here to bring us a well deserved smile and hand out a dose of pain to those that deserve it... 

I love when I can let her out to play, and the Living Dead Girl inside me has been desperate to get her greedy little hands on this awesome Love Sick Gacha Collection from CURELESS since it was released at the last round of the Epiphany, before I went on vacation... I've held her back for a while but it was no longer possible, it was time for her to play dress up and inject a little pain into the pleasure that is my rambling space.

Pain in My Eyes

I sat down to write a blog post over two hours ago now... My Husband is being really distracting - he's got this bad habit of knowing EXACTLY when I want to concentrate on something and then chooses that moment to demand my attention. It's the source of my biggest frustrations with him - he's STILL doing it even now! I'm trying to tune him out - that's it HEADPHONES ON! 
It's been one of those days, when everything is frustrating the crap out of me. I've not had enough sleep, I kept cutting myself at work and I just want to run away and hide. I plan on doing that very soon, but the feeling is matched so closely in the way Rudh is feeling today too... 

Thanks to the ECLIPSE, she's on edge - pissy if you will - and she's in the mood for stabbing someone. She's already been in more than one fight it seems if her huge black eye and multiple scratches are anything to go by?! 
The scratch marks on her chest are an ECLIPSE release from VAIN - called The Claw Scars - and it makes me wonder if they were caused when she put up a fight about the collar she's now wearing? These SpookShow Collars - and in fact the Septum Piercing too - look pretty fierce really, they seem to be a perfect compliment to her mood! 
Though I want to draw attention to something little here... Take a look into my eyes... They give you a message! I might be pissed off but there's a message there, a call for help or an SOS if you will... I love these eyes and the fact that they send some very good messages! Be careful when Picking Roses...

Yesterday was my 33rd Birthday, and I had a pretty damn good day. I admit that I was at work but when you work in a place like I do, that doesn't really matter, we have far too much fun selling cheese sometimes lol. I could go on about how awesome my day was but I think now it's better that I come down from Birthday cloud nine until my SL birthday party on Saturday at least and try to get back to normality lol... 
For me, when I'm in a happy mood that usually means Rudh ends up looking a little dead, which to some seems weird but for me it's perfectly normal, and at least it seems to be fairly pretty today hehe...

I got all excited when I saw this pose on Facebook from the creative mind behind Reve Obscura that is Lyriqz Xue and I had to have it. I knew that it would bring out the darkness in me, and I LOVE when my living dead doll is allowed out to play. It always makes me feel happy, which as I've said before some people find very strange! Basically a rule of thumb for me, more often than not, is the deader I look, the happier I am hehe... 
This pose by Reve Obscura is called "11 Mins" and you can see why it was something I had to have - other than the fact that this place is like an SL store crush for me! I have some good news too, they are having a little Spring Sale until March 25th both in world and on the marketplace. Don't miss out!

Talk to the Hand!

ECLIPSE has started for the month of March and it is one of those events that always makes me smile. Even though it's aimed at the darker side of life, my inner living dead doll screams for joy and she cannot get over to the event fast enough. 
This month is no exception, there's so much awesome stuff coming out of the event... I don't know where to start, I love it ALL!!! 

So for my first dive into ECLIPSE fun today I allowed my craziness to get me locked into a hospital... Of course me being me, I took over and caused chaos. I'm not cute, Just Psycho. 
So let's talk ECLIPSE... Starting with my awesome new glasses, that got broken accidentally and cut up my face badly - thanks for a set from The White Crow - luckily I'm a living dead doll, I don't feel it! I'm wearing some cute jewelery too - check it out, the choker and matching piercing which are ECLIPSE releases from SpookShow - but for me possibly the weirdest release and one of my favourites, has to be these amazing Voracity Gloves from Cubic Cherry... High fives will get your hand bitten off, and you'll always have someone to talk to with these beauties!

The Demon Awakens...

I'm having one of those weeks at the moment, depression and anxiety seems to be getting the better of me. I'm sorry to put that out there but it's not something I'm hiding anymore, please bear with me and if you see me online please feel free to send me hugs. Hugs always seem to help, me at least!
Tonight though, I'm being dragged out of my normal routine to go to a concert with my hubby. It's a birthday present for him, we're going to see the band Ghost. A band of nameless ghouls lead by a Pope like figure in Papa Emeritus. So tonight the inner demon in me will be released, she's finally waking up... 

Demons are just as bad at waking up as humans it seems... She gets up and wanders around her room looking a little pissed but still clinging to her teddy bear. Not ashamed to admit I still have a teddy bear at all by the way! 
She needs to get her scars tended to, the healing process a little slower as she's not yet awake, but it looks like she had some fun while out in her jammies last night. Her nightgown is one from DAMI - it comes complete with the cute bear and in a range of colours, some with and some without blood. 
The possession is strong with this girl, I just hope that Papa Emeritus can help with all those hail mary's she's gonna need to say!

I'm still in dress up mode, I'm still playing with fun costumes, and well... It's Halloween Season, it could be going on for a little while yet! 
Today I've been inspired by something that I am surrounded by on a regular basis - since both my niece and kitty momma are kittens - today I'm going a little crazy cat lady! 

This time I'm blaming my choice of costume on the new hair I grabbed for myself at #Foxy - which is available at the new round of Kustom9, a round in which the event is celebrating it's 5th anniversary too and there are tons of gifts out, like my kitten nose, which is also from #Foxy.
I got so into creating the character that I even gouged marks in my own cheeks to look like whiskers, and captured some friendly little mice - from PSYCHO.Byts - to accessorise!

At The End

Yesterday was the grand opening of the Gators MC 6th Annual Halloween Maze, and although it was smaller than it has been in past years, we had a lot of fun and our guests seem to enjoy it too... The maze is open now until November 4th so if you're looking for something Halloween - or at least to get you in the mood for Halloween - then you won't want to miss our Freak show... 
The opening party may be over now but Rudh is still meeting and greeting... 

She has plenty of bloody drinks to share. The kind that are not for kids, but also not really fit for human consumption either... Monsters only is the warning, but hey you may like it, you never know if you don't try... These drinks are a ChicChica Holy Blood Cocktail Speciality. 
As the hostess of the party Rudh needed a pretty dress... She'd seen one on her many shopping trips and now had the perfect excuse to wear it. It's a new release from 1313 Mockingbird Lane for this month's Black Fair. It actually comes in two separate parts, the dress and the harnesses, which look great together or worn alone. Its the perfect dress for a party! It brings out her demonic side - or are those fresh wounds from her PSYCHO - PSYCHO.Byts - side?!

Time to Call Home

I can't actually believe it but it's been a week now since my parents left... Where the heck does the time go, it seems to have flown past! I guess it's time for me to make my weekly call home - check in to make sure everyone is OK and so that they can know I'm fine too... 
When Rudh calls home, that's where things get a little more complicated... 

As a Living Dead Girl, she's kinda lucky! She's able to enjoy both forms of "life" - the living and the afterlife hehe - but the phone service to connect a call to her undead family sucks!
