When Colours Don't Work...

 I'm feeling so stuck today. I wanted to find something interesting to blog, but then I've put some outfits together and still found it hard to do anything with the outfits that can be used as prettiness for my blogging world. 
I LOVE the looks I've put together, but I still found myself looking at the outfits, thinking WHAT the hecak am I going to do with them... I guess I should just put one on and throw some colours around and call it a Look-for-the-day!

I think that throwing the spray paint colours around, coating the walls of the Graffiti Club - a backdrop from Paparazzi, that I'd sprayed with Ana Poses paint cans - somehow magically managing to avoid ALL of the paint getting on her jet black outfit... 
The outfit is one of those "I put them on and fell in love" with, a dress held together with safety pins, and adding yet more pins for decoration purposes... Adding a little more punkishness with some fishnets and an overly huge leather jacket...

Monsters Go Back To School!!

Kids in my part of the world have all done the dreaded deed and started the new school year. I always loved the start of a new school year, not so much because I was eager to be back at school but because I was excited about things like getting new stationary, a new bag and new shoes to impress my friends, and make the others jealous. I was also a bit of a geek, so I never had a problem with school and the classes I chose, especially in my senior years when I had my chosen electives... 
I should also admit that I have a bit of an obsession with the cartoon 'Monster High', and any time I think of school now, I wish that I'd been able to be a student there!! All the students being the children of the monsters, I think I could definitely fit in... Let's all head to Monster High to start the school year...

Hair styled in the traditional Bride of Frankenstein look, I looked just like my mother, but the rest of the style was much more akin to Frankie's since I borrowed most of her clothes hehe... A punk rocker style skirt - from Mug - a shirt with the coolest slogan and some of the coolest accesories that a ghoul could find...

Gathering friends for the Necrotic Horror Show

The doors to SL's greatest picture show have finally opened, and I'm not talking about anything the Rocky Horror Picture Show related... I'm talking about the Necrotic Horror Show, and Necrosis' latest outing! It's the last time this dark little event will be coming out to play for a while, so it's the right way to go... Putting on a little show... 
Rudh decided to help out a little, gathering people to come and get ready for the show... First things first, some of the dead...

Just a small glass...

I'm home after an icky few days of having to work in a shop designed for tourists in a city where there are no tourists... I have been struggling so hard to keep myself awake and away from becoming depressed... Getting home, I had some delicious dinner, and I felt like a glass of wine was necessary evil... 

I went to the wine cellar and decided to help myself to a glass of wine... A LARGE glass of wine... I had one poured and waiting on the bar for me, but then I spotted the bigger of the glasses - that was the one for me - a large wine glass from ChicChica... It takes a LOT of bottles to fill this glass... Wonder if I'll still be able to stand up when I drank it all?!

I'm Leaving... Goodbye!

Just having one of those days today... It seems like the past few days everything has been a little messed up and I feel like grabbing my coat and just checking out... All the little things seem to be building up into one giant WTFISGOINON kinda mess and I'm really about ready to check out... In fact, you know what, I'm gonna do just that... 

Problem is, the one place that I wanna go is one of those places that I'm not able to get to at the moment... I NEED to spend some time in the UK to recharge my batteries, but if I cannot get there where am I gonna go? Drown my sorrows in a bar? Dance the night away so I forget my troubles? I am stuck and have no ideas... 
Still jacket in hand, and looking devillishly angellic I looked back just once and walked out the door... Where I'll go I don't know, but anywhere is better than here!

The Sea Witch searches for her Leviathan

 The Leviathan should become the kind of pet that would make even the most wishy-washy sea witch happy... Having a demonic pet like that at her side, no one would mess with her, her magic and evil plans could be carried out without interference and all would be well under the sea... 
I mean all would be well if she'd not left the gate open last night and let her pet escape from the underwater garden by The Bay... 

Has anyone seen a rather large Sea Monster that's a little bit like a cross between a dinosaur and a squid? You sholdn't be able to miss it, it's not like there will be hundreds of them under the sea with her... 
While she's searching for her pet though, let's take a little moment to stop and admire how awesome this sea witch looks - I guess I was inspired by Ursuala, she is the best Disney Villain after all - but the Queen Kraken dress from oushk is something that matches perfectly with her blue Leviathan War Paint - a Necrosis release from Misschevious. She wears a tattoo, the spell that binds the Leviathan - a tattoo by Corvus - on her skin to keep him with her, and cover the veins that mark her pale body - thanks to a BOM layer by autopsia -  while her rings - Leviathan Accessories from Spookshow - are also enchanted so she can keep control of the beast... Well that was the plan at least until it escaped LOL...

The Demon in the Bible

I felt it coming... I feel my dark and devious side pushing through - it tends to come out when I'm either extremely happy, or totally down - I've been in an unhappy place for the past couple of days, what a way to spend a weekend right?

I wandered around the Ministry of Darkness, being a good little demon and sticking the rules about wearing a face mask, as I wandered through the abandoned graveyard feeling more than a little melancholy... 

Now being a resourceful little demon I couldn't find a mask at home, so in the church in the graveyard I grabbed one of their Bibles - a Bible Face Mask from Luc at the new round of equal10  - and well... I guess it will have to do... It's kinda part of the territory being a little demonic and desecrating something holy, right?

Like I said though, not in the best place mentally right now... The demon is in control, and I will be hiding...

Dead Inside; Leaking Ectoplasm

I often spend a lot of my time flicking through the amazing creations of the people that I follow on Flickr. So many wonderful, creative minds are active there, that it is a bit like a private gallery showing sometimes. I find myself wishing that I had skills like that, or laughing and thinking "dammit why didn't I think of that?" and sometimes I even feel all the emotion that is poured into the pictures from the creator. Yet I look at my photos, and although I love them, I always find myself thinking "why is one more popular than the other?" When I go a little kookie with things it seems like it's less well liked than when I am a bit more normal... Not that it bothers me, I mean I do this for my own personal fun but I wonder what people think when they look at other people's creations, it just intrigues me!! 

Yesterday's post was a little weird, I will fully admit that, and so today I'm going back to something a little more normal for me, today I am going for that feisty dead doll look, and perhaps - although it's not normal for me to post one of these - I will say it's my Look-Of-The-Day, YAY! 
Take in an amazing set at WHOLE WHEAT, using a pretty scary looking axe - from the Ragnar Pose by Image Essentials - that I picked up in this post-apocalyptic city scene, Rudh is a little Dead Inside and is actually leaking ectoplasmic brain goo!! 
She's a dead doll, it wouldn't be normal if it wasn't ectoplasm right?! The drippy face look is actually a new make-up release from Nightmare, that includes 4 colours - green is shown obviously - and a white for tinting, at the new round of Suicide Dollz. 
This outfit definitely feels more Rudhish than yesterdays LOL... Hence a look of the day for lil me!!

The Girl in Pet Semetary - A Gators MC Maze Special!

Well we finally did it! It's here, it's open to the public and it's better than any we've had in years gone by. The MC worked super hard and pulled out all of the stops this year to create something devious and scary, and so far everyone seems to be loving it... It's a dark haunted place full of the odd scare and even some very special VIP characters that you may well recognise, so if you're looking for something fun to do - although I know there are HEAPS of things to do - maybe you want to check out the Gators MC 4th Annual Halloween Event!
Of course for me Halloween is the best time of the year to play dress up... There are so many new events opening that appeal to my darker Dead Doll side that I cannot help myself but be overly excited! I'm like a kid in a Candy Store or a teenage girl with VIP access to  the latest teen idols - squealing with excitment and running around like a headless chicken in case you were wondering! Having the maze for me is a bonus as I have ready made horror sets at my fingertips LOL...

The first of these "sets" is actually the maze entrace... Pet Semetary is our opening location this year and instead of scary animals - with the exception of the odd Gator - you may well find that there are more parties than nasties here this year.
My first dead girl look was something that kinda paired with HellBone chosen outfit... We were the keepers of the Semetary - he a monstrous undertaker, me the dead girl that collected the pets, and I was followed everywhere by a little black cat!
I have to admit that for me and my little Dead Doll look this is fairly simple lol... I fell head over heels in love with the new Besom hair called "New Girl" - which is available now at SALEM, an event that is by far one of my favourite seasonal shopping events this year - and the whole outfit was built around it... It went well withe dress I found - an oldie but still a goodie - from Corvus, coated with blood, lots and lots of blood, and a Noose from Remarkable Oblivion.
Then I took the deadly kitten - from Jian - that is awakend by Pet Semetary for a walk through the graveyard, before heading into the dark...
Dare you "Get Bitten in the Dark!", or are you too chicken?! You never know who you will meet in the Pet Semetary Catacombs!

I did not make the Statues Bleed!

Yesterday I had another emotional breakdown, and the monsters within were allowed to rear their ugly heads - not sure if I can get away with calling my demons ugly but it's out there now and I'm not able to take it back - but as a result my photos tend to look darker. Not sure if that is a bad thing, I think I prefer my darker and more creative side... It's that side of me that creates the most interesting images I feel, and today I let my mind run wild with a series of three stone cold beauties in tow...

The demons in me attacked these stone beauties and stole them to the dark recesses of my mind... Drawing just a little blood... I swear it was only a little! Look at my face, how could someone this sweet and innocent looking cause too much blood hehe... Look at how delicately I am gagged with that pretty flower - from Cureless [+] at ROMP - I was good I didn't crush it!!!
The ladies are actually a statue from Paper Moon. Paper Moon has been pretty quiet as of late due to the owner's RL, BUT she's back - ish - and has decided to hold a storewide sale - gachas excluded - with EVERYTHING being 50% off! The sale ends on January 15th, so get your little shoppaholic butts down there, or my demons will be coming after you, and I will be bringing my stony friends too!
One more thing that I want to show you, as I've done before, I felt it's right to break down the layers of my facial decor hehe... I used various layers to build up the look above... Starting with my basic face wound that I am rarely without from antielle, and adding a Scarred Face Tattoo from Corvus before as a finishing touch to the eyes I added an old but still favourite [mock] Zombie Makeover look!

So what's it gonna be?? A trip to the Paper Moon sale, or a visit from me and my stony friends?!

What would but What will as 2016 rolls in...

Well it's the last day of December, the last day of 2015 and I am in a cottage in the woods with very limited internet access and a mother-in-law that could be tied to the nearest tree if she keeps making some of the stupid complaining comments that she has been making since we arrived... 
It's weird, I've only been away from SL for a few hours but I miss everyone in it already... Tonight should be one that you spend partying with friends and having a great time... Something like this perhaps...

A fun night out with the girls of the Gators would be a damn good idea right now... Dancing, a few drinks, and a fun night in a biker bar... I love a biker bar, you never need to dress up too much like a girlie girl, you can be yourself and that is just what we did! Or should I say would do, if I was at home and able to be there with the girls... 
My New Years Eve will possibly be more relaxing, something a little more like this...

Zombies in Blueberry

Today is the first time that I've been in the office for a week or so and this morning I feel like I'm a zombie... It's too early, too dark outside and there is no one around besides the other worker bees that are trudging through the rain in a zombiesque manner just as I am... No matter how many cups of tea I drink this morning, I cannot seem to wake up. Maybe I should just move onto the hard stuff and hit myself with some coffee?! Anything to fight the zombies I guess!

The pose I'm using is one of those awesome comes with full scene and all the props you will need sets from Come Soon Poses. I am a little late with posting this, as it was from an event release BUT it is still available at the main store, and if you want to pose with zombies, remember this one tells you "They're Back!"
My outfit is one that is made up of oldish Blueberry stuffs... The Suko Top was a release for Uber this month, and it is in fact still available at Uber until tomorrow, while the shorts are an older - but still my go-to pair of denim shorts.
The rest of my look was just accessorising as per usual... I wore some killer heeled boots, new from Ducknipple, and a similarly studded garter belt from The Horror! as well as a {PSYCHO.Byts} collar...
Yet still I feel more like one of the zombies, than the zombie killer I am pretending to be... Perhaps I should just go with it for now, and hunt coffee not zombies?!

It's a work at home day for me today, which means I can relax and although it's naughty, dedicate just a little more of my attention to all things SL... Feels great to be able to spend some time taking photos and getting things ready to share here, perhaps today I can get a little creative too, who knows?! 
I do feel a little feisty today, although I could do with a lot more sleep too, it's a weird combination,,, I think I should do something a little silly perhaps?! Maybe I'll join a made up - for the purposes of my own personal childhood fantasies lol - Disney Army... I wonder how the Disney Princesses would look? Perhaps something a little like this?

Which were blonde? Cinderella, Aurora, Rapunzel perhaps? Though Rapunzel's hair when brown when it was cut short... Anyway this is my imaginings of what they would look like, and I love it!!! 
The Minnie Mouse Ears helmet is something that I've had stuffed in my hoard for ages, it's old-school sculpties but you wouldn't know to look at it so much, and I love it with this fierce cut short hairstyle from Lamb called Baby Blue, which is a gift at We <3 RP! 
The rest was just something a little like set dressing hehe, she needed to look beaten up, and she needed to look tough, but there is one more thing that needs an honourable mention and that's her weapons.  These guns are actually a necklace - they are not functional as guns just so you know - but they are a brilliantly interesting necklace from (Poisoned Diamond). I am not really a lover of guns, I try to avoid them if I can but this necklace sparked this journey of mine into crazy talk about a Disney Army LOL... It had to be done!

The Malediction of a Demonic Nun

It's been a month already, but today is the last day that the Gator MC Halloween Maze is open... I cannot quite believe that the maze has been there this long already, it's beyond belief... Feels like only yesterday the maze opened but closing day is finally here... 
On Sunday night we had a little closing party, it was open to the public but it seemed like only Gators were present hehe, not that we minded it was like having a private Rob Zombie Concert hehe... So once again I had the chance to dress up! I got dressed as something that might offend people, and I'm sorry if it does, but I was a dead demonic Nun! I blame the hair LOL... Some said it was scary seeing me as a nun, others said it was hot... I was just enjoying letting my inner Dead Girl out for Mr Zombie hehe... 

At a little graveyard in a place called Windswept, a figure sat on a gravestone whispering words of malediction - thanks to Le Poppycock - a figure that on closer inspection looked like a sister of faith, but when you looked even closer there was something more dark angel than light about her... 
The only sign of anything resembling a Nun being the way she styles her hair - this Asylum hair is a current group gift for Spellbound by the way - and the cross that she wears around her neck - an old by favourite from Maxi Gossamer - which actually seems to have been used to burn her skin at some point looking at the mark on her head?! She definitely does not look like a nun in her chosen style of dress... The smallest PVC dress she could find it seems adorns her curves, while her legs are clad in some sexy boots - r2 and BAX goodies if you must know - but damn this Living Dead Girl must have a penchant for being naughty... If this was all in aid of a visit from Mr Rob Zombie, he's one lucky rock star hehe... Though I don't think even he would have been expecting this... 

Someone call Security, there's a rogue Nun on stage!!!!

Welcoming Me Back...

That's it, the holiday is over, and I have been welcomed home with a bump LOL... No more living in cloud Emily land, where your parents look after you and everything is relaxing and fun... Its straight back into the reality, and by that I mean normal life including my SL and all the work that can come with it LOL... 
No sooner had I logged in yesterday, and was working through the mountain, when drama struck... Luckily Hell was able to handle it and I didn't need to be involved LOL but sometimes it really is like jumping on a skateboard and rolling down a HUGE hill!!!

There is no way that I'd normally do this, it would freak me out LOL. I might if I was allowed to sit down on the board, but there is no way I'd be as brave as my Rudh dolly and plan on doing it standing! Though I guess when you are able to handle drama, then sometimes you have to take the risk huh?!
I'm not even dressed for the task ahead of me really LOL... I mean OK I was wearing some combat boots, which I guess are smarter than heels or bare foot, which tends to be my usual foot look! But the dress, although it is very cute - from Sn@tch called Hayden - doesn't really look like it will be good protection against falling from a fast moving skateboard! 
Talking of skateboards, if you want some good boarding poses, and OK these are made for a man but they are perfectly good to be used by women too - as I proved hehe - then head to Signature Pose... 
Someone get the first aid kit ready, I have a feeling I might need it!!!

There's not Mush-room in here...

It is June... I don't know about how your June is in your part of the world but in the UK at the moment it is more like Autumn than Summer. It's not cold exactly, but it's gray and murky and there is a definite fizz of rain in the air! 
I have been lucky with the photos that I have put together before coming to visit family, there always seems to be one that is right for the occasion of what I want to talk to you about LOL... Lucky how that works huh? I could never have predicted this Autumnal feeling weather in a million years, but the photo I have to share with you today really sums up that feeling. 

I'm actually - for the first time since I arrived - feeling a little bored and wondering what the heck to do with myself... BLOGGING is always a cure for that!
So I let my inner fae out to play... 
I put this look together due to a release from LODE for this month's line-up of Chapter Four... The Musha Gacha is just like any other LODE gacha release, I LOVE their flowers more than any other I have seen in SL... I HAD to have a set... Choosing the yellow set wasn't my best idea, it was the last one to come out of the machine LOL but if you want any other colours please feel free to ask, I may be able to help!
This slightly dark fae was then draped in a fur bodysuit, a VERY old release from SAKIDE, and whilst out exploring at the Garden of Dreams, she stopped briefly to pick up a very small - ImmateriA - friend who wrapped himself around her wrist like a bracelet! 
I LOVE being able to play as a fantasy character sometimes... It always makes me feel good to get away from the norm for a bit, and I will tell you right now that taking a break out of being on holiday to write to you made me feel less bored and so very relaxed hehe... Time to get on with being a lazy bum though!!!

I miss you guys...

HELLO SL I WAS HERE TODAY... Sometimes having a megaphone makes you feel strong, maybe that's just me but today was one of those days when everyone had gone to work in RL and I was left at home to fend for myself hehe... At least for a few hours... 
So I logged into SL, went shopping to grab myself things that I might have missed otherwise and sent a HUGE hello to the people that I am missing whilst I am in RL... It seems strange that even when you go on holiday the people you leave behind in SL are very much missed... 

So I send a HUGE shout out to everyone that I know and love in SL... The people I speak to every day, those I miss more than anything, and the people I work with in SL because without you it's not the same...

The end of Horror Haute as we know it... Changes are coming...

Horror Haute comes to a close for this month today, and next month is already shaping up to be a HUGE kettle of fish for the team... We're swelling in size due to the incoming union of two standing events... We had a corporate take over - of sorts - for events known as Spooky Cute and Against the Mainstream... Things behind the scenes of the Haute are also changing... There is much to come and my excitement is building, I CANNOT WAIT TO TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT hehe.. For that though you need to wait until next month, Mwhahahahahaha... 
Let me talk more about the last of the Voodoo things that you can grab today... Remember the event closes today and these things will go back to main store locations... If you miss them at the event, the prices may change too... DON'T MISS OUT! 

I have three Horror Hauteish things on in this photo... First off the Mask, which I have to say does stand out is the iVoudou Mask from Tasty Pudding. It has a selection of different make-up colours, and a mask that rolls through various different patterns and colours to create a very eerie magical effect! I wore a top from AfterMath Creations with a Damballa print, and then accessorised with some of the coolest nails I have seen in a LONG time... These nails might make you squeamish but the Dark Passions Voodoo Pinned Nails are simply amazeballs!!! 

The last of May's Horror Haute line up that I want to share, I cannot forget and miss this as it is just so cute, is the Thirst Dress from Blue Blood. The dresses are in various colours, with and without the floral prints, but they are a perfect look for a Voodoo dolly, that is if you can ignore the blood LOL... I LOVE blood so I have no issue going out in a dress that is soaked in it however LOL...
