Fairy Defence in the Darkness!

Sometimes I have a craving when it comes to blogging to do things that are NOT normal and let myslf get lost in a fairytale, be that a good or a dark one... Being lost in a fairytale really helps me with my mental state and right now being lost feels like a great idea. There is just too much going on in my own little world, as well as in the real world, and without complaining here too much I feel like I'm losing the battle pretty fast... So step back from the norm Rudh and find a way to embrace the darkness... My darkness feels like a HUGE monster, lets make him more friendly and things will calm down once more?! I hope... 

In the garden of the Spinners, my monster floats through the light that breaks through the trees and the darkness... He's a cloaked Hornswoggle - made by Tardfish, available at the Fantasy Faire Aventurine Promenade to raise money for Race for Life - and though he lurks in the dark, when he comes into the light he's a lot less scary and more like a Ringwraith from the Lord of the Rings... 
He's always trying to scare the fae folk that wander through the gardens.. Rudh as a sassy little fae isn't one to mess with. I guess that's why I decided to take on my monster as a fae today... She's a little thorny, but she sparkles in the dark so that the monsters are intimidated. She's armed with her Willowvine Wand - from Simply Shelby at the Fantasy Faire Stoneveil Crossing Sim - and the magic within will keep her monster at bay...

Candies cause visits from The Tooth Fairy

Last night was the grand opening of this year's Gators MC Halloween Maze and as with every year I always end up coming up with some weird and wonderful costumes... It's my favourite time of the year for a reason, and it's not like I need a reason to play dress up... 
So this year I kinda dressed in the theme for the opening and to match my room but without giving too much away... 

Yes it's a Candy Forest and I'm a tooth fairy... I don't want the bad rotten teeth that have fallen out, I want the teeth that are still in your jaw... I'm taking those out... No Novocaine is needed!!! My pliers will do the work for me!
My costume is from Decoy at the new pop-up round of The Arcade... It's Bloody Wisdom and a gacha collection, I wore it with some wings from DRD!

Somewhere Cosy

Yesterday I felt totally horrible, all day, I was struck down with a migraine and didn't feel anything like moving... Today I feel better but still somewhat fragile, and that's never a nice feeling. So I will have to take things a little easy today, no wild parties, and no crazy loud goings on in this girl's future. At least for the time being anyway. I want to find somewhere quiet and cosy to curl up with a good book, it's the one thing I really feel like doing right now... 

Talking of somewhere cosy, I have been meaning to share with you this adorable picture of a house that I have been playing with recently. I still don't feel very confident taking snapshots of décor alone, but this time I couldn't help but share it, especially as it seems like the perfect quiet cosy place to sit and read a book... 
It was inspired by the decorative props on the table top in the foreground actually. Violetility mad some gorgeous magical themed décor pieces for the most recent round of We <3 RP - which is still open until March 31st by the way - and that seem perfect for the house of a little witch. There are 5 different sets of props, which I have mixed-n-matched on the table top - but that include an Assassin Dagger Set, a set of Essential Ingredient Jars, a Potioneer's Set, a Scrying Set and some other Research Props - all at a very low price of 50L per set! 
The rest of the location is filled with some adorable but not all new pieces, such as the table, the fireplace and the chair, which Rudh like the RL me plans on parking her little butt in and curling up with a book in just a few minutes. 
Now if only the adorable little Scruffy Shepherd would stop destroying that toy so I can focus on my book, then I will be happy and have the peace I need!!!

An Evil Little Tooth Fairy

Ever woken up from a terrible nightmare only to find yourself laughing about it? 
I did that this morning, I was laughing so hard until I realised that it was in fact Monday morning and there would be no point in me going back to sleep for a mere 15 minutes! I was not pleased! 
Yet the idea of the nightmare has stuck with me, and I wanted to share something a little horrible with you this morning - tis the season after all!! 
So today, I am a morbid tooth fairy... I'm fluttering into your room at night and stealing teeth - not just those under your pillows though, OH NO I want them ALL!!! 

And yes I am stealing them from the mouths of little children MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... 
Sorry I get so into character sometimes! It's really not my fault though, I shop, I buy things and I find myself creating characters based entirely on these items. Today it was the turn of a new collar that I bought from Le Morte called Toothless - and yes I have included a close up shot below just so that you can see what I am actually talking about - but it seemed perfect with the older but still one of my favourite necklaces, the KOSH "Toothfairy Necklace", which was where my idea was born LOL... 
As soon as I knew what my character was going to be I started to make the blood appear! There was lots of blood! All over my dress - from Kaithleen's - my special gloves - from Jian - and the ball & chain which keep me trapped in my job! Though that might have been caused by the nasty scarring I have all over my fairy body - thanks to The White Crow - because I am allergic to fairy sparkles and the gossamer of my wings. 

Anyway, I cannot be one to complain, least the job keeps me busy - and fed - though the dinner I had a Crowley Hall was not enough... Time to move on to the next unsuspecting victim hehe...

Living Dead Clown

Today is HellBone's RL Birthday, and so I am going to get all dressed up in my best and try to wow him like only a little Living Dead Doll could... Not that it will work, I mean he's more likely to be interested if I was dressed as a Dinosaur - trust me it's happened in the past - and I'm just doing this for my own happiness... I never need an excuse to play dress up, especially when it involves letting my Living Dead Dolly side come to the surface!
Today I'm a Living Dead CLOWN Dolly, which to quote a super hot demon hunter is weird, because "apparently Clowns Kill!" hehe...

This entire outfit came together because of two things... One being the amazingly cute Dead Dollz Outfit called The Countess - to which HellBone said, it's not fully rezzed for me your boobs are still showing *facepalms* - and the way that I put my make-up together...
The outfit looked perfect with my thigh high BAX Regency boots - like they were made for each other - but I don't think this outfit would have worked so well if I hadn't done my make-up the way that I did... So after playing around for a while at Picklesong, I decided it was time to head home and take a better, clearer face shot so that you can see what it really looks like...

As per usual, I've built it up in layers... Excluding my usual scar from antielle, I've gone to town on the rest of the make-up I wear... Crimson smeared Lipstick with mascara tears from antielle over Squeek's "Not Exactly a Clown" Make-up but under the [mock] Tainted Love Zombie Makeover bloody tears... While the red smeared lipstick has been slashed as it was smeared thanks to antielle's Kuchisake Onna...
For one last flourish, and something that makes it seem kinda pertinent to the month of the Valentine, I've made the sad clown a little sadder with a crying rose from KOSH... These are not new but still some of the prettiest roses in SL... Perfect for dead girls at Valentines!

Shoe-Aholics Anonymous

I am a shoe-aholic... I can admit that... Not in RL just in SL mind you, where I have a collection that could rival Imelda Marcos... It's not my fault it's just SO EASY to find amazing and not over the top priced shoes in SL... So when I find a pair I often have to show a little restraint hehe... 
Though just after Christmas I spotted a pair on Flickr that I fell in love with, and a biker shaped Christmas Elf slipped them into my shopping basket hehe... 

The shoes in questions are these amazing Miss LT Creation Studio "Chrys" Heels... They come with a simply HUGE HUD for colour options - including this transparent plastic look - of the basic texture the heel and the metal colours...  The thing I love most about them though is the baroque look in a modern way... SO GORGEOUS, I couldn't just ignore these hehe... 
I took a walk through Nox Arcanus and found the perfect place to take a picture of a pair of heels... YES it is a play room hehe but never mind that... LOOK AT THE SHOES!!!!

Something's Coming down the Chimney...

Sinterklaas, the Dutch tradition, has ended... HellBone and I spent time with a Bishop that's nothing to do with the Dutch tradition, and is in fact dead and totally Antichrist.. 
Yet now it means that Christmas is on it's way and running FAST towards us, the monster that is Christmas is coming, and there is no stopping it now... Question is, will Santa be coming to see you, have you been good, or will you get a visit from the Bad Santa... The twisted monster that will make sure your Christmas is far from merry! 
Right now I feel like the Bad Santa should be the one I see... 

I had a monster in the chimney for the longest time, it came from Halloween and a TAG event but the monster really seemed to like it so he stayed and now I'm worried he's gonna steal me up the chimney for his Christmas Lunch. The Remarkable Oblivion Lurker Chimney really does provide the right monstrous backdrop! 
Of course there is only so many decorations that a girl can put out in an attempt to hide the evilness within the chimney, I went to town on décor... I LOVE the wreaths from Jian for Christmas 2015, they are available now at Tannenbaum and look so realistic I'm even thinking I'd ask Jian to make me one in RL lol... Shown here is the wreath, but you also get strings decorated in the same way! 
Tannenbaum is a great place to pick up all kinds of Christmas décor by the way... I have these awesome Stockings from Lost Junction, and the cute plushie reindeer, also from Lost Junction, which can be found at this event, and they make such cute decorative items that I guarantee these will be things I have out in some place or another! 
It's actually making me want to start decorating for Christmas, maybe just a little bit, not a lot... I just hope that the milk and Cookies I've left out for Santa are enough for the monster, or I may not be around long enough to do any!!!

The Bath to make you Sparkle...

Ahhhh Bath time... One of those moments when you can shut out the world and have a little peace and quiet... I don't bath very often - tend to be more of a shower girl normally - but when I do bath it's a long drawn out thing, with music and candles and lots of lovely bubbles! 
In SL though, bath times can be better... How about a bath time in the stars?! 

The pose shop's Cosmic baTHbahm gives you the perfect reason to do just that... I spotted these baths in a gacha at the Body Modification Expo - which is still being hosted by Depraved Nation - and was excited by the cosmic look of the bath water! I won it in a myriad of colours, if anyone wants one let me know... But I will let you know that cosmic water gives the skin an amazing glow hehe... 
The stars in the atmosphere sparkle amongst the bubbles, and it feels like the perfect bath... There is only one here that doesn't look too happy and that's poor Katat0nik Duck!

Don't mind us, we're having a Moment...

I'm tired of being sweet and innocent I want something a little heated, a little sexy and well, a little erotic... Sometime's a girl has to do something a little bit different to spice things up and well... Mongo was a willing victim hehe... I mean model LOL... 
We'd been out shopping with Lil at a past Men's Department and had found this pose from oOo Studio. It was just too hot not to try to play around with, and I never get to make sexy pictures hehe this was a good chance for me to practice right?! Oh not to mention getting to see Mongo in some tiny man undies... It was a win win situation! 

As I've said before the pose is from oOo Studio, and was available at a past Men's Department, but it should still be available in the main-store. It took me so long to decide to share this photo, hehe until now it's just been a part of a perv collection I had in my hard drive - OK it was the ONLY one in the collection hehe - but I just love how it turned out so much that I couldn't resist sharing it here. 
It also gave me a chance to show off other amazing things, like the super cute and still covering yet barely there all at once dress from r2 called konatsu... I LOVE this store's PVC textures! They really do seem to be the most natural PVC texture I've seen, especially over the see-through areas. When it came to footwear I was a little lost, but it was Mongo that suggested these REIGN heels were perfect with it, the little studs matching the style of the polka-dot style holes in the black areas of my dress... 
I wanted that feeling of opulence in this photo, I KNOW it's me being a bit of a bad girl with - as he calls himself - my American Hubby, but I decided I needed candles - lots of them - and then even remembered the Grand Supped Curtains from Paper Moon that were a past Fantasy Collective item... When combined they gave such a soft feeling, that my collection of toys seemed a lot less intimidating hehe...

I joined the dollies by becoming one...

Slowly working on clenaing up my inventory hoard at the moment... It's an on going, never ending process but OH MY GOSH I re-found one of my obsessional gacha items and I forgot just how much I love them... Someone once told me a clean up would be good, but I never thought it would be this awesome LOL... Only problem is that I cannot leave them out around the family home as my SL son Athrun isn't too keen on dolls of any kind - the fact that they are murderous would really give him trouble LOL...

You will no doubt have seen these a million times before, and have more than likely seen them here on my blog too, but I have to sing their praises once again... I LOVE these Remarkable Oblivion Dolls! They are a very long since passed Gacha release and BOY did I have to have the whole set and spent a fortune in doing so, but they are simply some of the best dolls I have seen in SL to date...
They definitely distracted me from cleaning inventory though, I HAD to dress up all doll like - it's my SL persona to be a Living Dead Doll after all! - and that's it my hoard cleaning was forgotten for a couple of hours at least LOL...
To pull off my dead doll look today, I wore my awesome wounds from antielle - such a worthwhile thing to win from the gacha at The Epiphany - and an awesome new short but cute wig from Magika, but it was the dress that brought my adorable dead girl look together...
The dress is one from Dead Dollz called Isabeau in a sand colour. Something this pale wouldn't be my normal choice but I just loved that aged vintage look that it gave to the lace, it was soooo pretty I couldn't resist... There are a few other colours available at Shiny Shabby, but this is one dress that is not to be missed... I have fallen head over heels for Dead Dollz... There will be a lot more to come from the store in the coming weeks I'm sure!! I cannot get enough of their dresses hehe...
I think I am going to have to find a cute little place to put my dollies out somewhere at home, maybe I'll make a room where my SL son shouldn't go hehe...

What do Angels with Red Wings eat?

Strange to see a little angel sitting in the clouds and enjoying the sunlight, especially when you think that she's an angel of Horror, but that's what she is... Don't let her innocent look fool you!?!
I'll share with you a possible little secret right now, and that is, Angels are like flamingoes, the colour of their feathers changes depending on what they eat! Now I've always believed that angels eat cake LOL... Why else would something that tastes like Heaven have been created?! Duh?! LOL... This would explain the creamish wings they have right?

In this case, you can tell she's a Horror Angel, her wings are blood red, you can tell what she eats hehe...
Lots of different things make this Horror Angel look the way she does, things from various events too... For example the Florchild Halo that she is wearing is a Oneword release from The Horror, and there is a handful of things here that have been past event releases - such as the Thorned Beauty Rose Jewellery from roobix - but the entire reason for this photo was in fact one item... The Tasty Pudding Vamp Cobweb Stockings are that reason.  They are available in a series of different colours, and have the ability to wear the thorns without the socks too! These socks are a release for the Simply the Best line-up of Horror Haute this month, by the way, just so you know hehe...
So if you ever see an Angel with red wings, no matter how pretty they are... RUN!!

Ohmai, I'm Under the Sea

Hair Fair is officially open and as far as I've heard I am counting my lucky stars that I was chosen as one of the official blogging team this year... I don't mean to make anyone feel bad, but I will say to anyone that would listen that when I was sent a group invite, I nearly passed out at the fact that I'd been accepted... Things like this never happen to me, and I only hope that I can do a good job for the organisers, designers and at the end of the day, the children, in my coverage of such a brilliant and well organised event! 
I bought a total of 7 different styles from the Hair Fair this year, that's not a lot in comparison to some people I know, but for me that's a LOT... There are some from stores I'd never normally visit, some that are definitely a little more fantastical and others that I loved just because they were cute!! 

This would be one of the cute styles... It's a new release that will donate 30% of the price towards the Hair Fair Charity Wigs for Kids, from !Ohmai Salon called Tako. All of their designs for this year's Hair Fair are Sushi themed, even the freebie piglet is a Sushi Chef... 
Now I will admit that I have spent the last few days in an outfit that I bought at this month's line-up of Collabor88. Yes it's fishy themed, so I will take a few fishy jokes after admitting that I have been wearing the outfit for a few days. The dress is one from Pixicat, an Aquatic dress that is perfect for a modern mermaid, as well as these awesomely fab tights from Schadenfreude! 
I accessorised with two AWESOME new releases from my favourite stores for cuteness... These stores always seem to go hand in hand on the cute scale and I cannot ever get enough of them... It's kinda like torture... Good but torture hehe... 
The Bag I have in my hand is one that you can win yourself ig you try the Origami hunt. I will admit that this hunt was a little bit too confusing at 7am when I'd just woken up and was there for the prizes LOL... I will likely go back and try it again but until then I can share with you the awesome Schadenfreude Bagged Octopus... The other,  and possibly slightly more obvious thing, would be the Shark! It's a release from SilentSparrow for the latest round of Seasons Story, which is under the water themed lol, and I got lucky winning this RARE Bloody Great White Shark on my 4th attempt LOL... You know me and blood...

Third Times a Voodoo...

Time for a little more Voodoo magic... I am on a roll this month, three looks in three days, all of them focused on the Voodoo side of SL and the awesome releases from this month't Horror Haute! 
There is so much choice in this month's line-up that any Voodoo King or Queen would feel right at home and be able to get themselves a new wardrobe all at once!

This look was inspired by one of these outfits... The Ghost Story Releases are a series of three different coloured dress and turban sets called Marie Leveau. I chose a redish coloured one and removed my hair so that it looked perfect with the scarf draped around my head. I kept the rest of the outfit simple so that I could showcase the clothing better, I added a pair of Aftershok VooDoo shoes and a Helian Necklace from KOSH, and then my third Voodoo look was complete!!!

Coffee Time with RudhLag

It's early on Sunday Morning... For some reason my dog decided that today I HAD to wake up, and instead of wanting to go out all she wanted to do was take over my warm spot right in the middle of the bed... HellBone is due home after being away for a couple of days, so I should do things like make sure things are ready for dinner, do the laundry and the dishes, be the good wife lol... But that ain't gonna happen... I cannot function yet, I NEED COFFEE!!! 
I'm already on my third cup, and so reading blogs and writing one even isn't too much of a hard thing to do, but there is no way that I can function on anything that involves effort LOL... Usually I am one of those get up in the morning and go go go people but Sundays... NUH UH!!! 
So today you lucky, lucky people get to have coffee with me!! 

Feel a bit like a strange talk show host sitting here like that, but I'm sorry a girl needs her caffeine and this was SUCH a comfy chair, although it doesn't look it!! LOL... 
The chair is a release from Consignment for 6th Republic, and is available in a selection of different designs. Each of these is stuffed FULL of awesomeness that are the poses used by Wavie Haller in each of his designs, plus that wire frame design would be great in a million different style settings, be they man cave, ladies living room or even somewhere as messy as the Gators MC Clubhouse LOL... 
On a side note, Tres Blah makes some damned good coffee... 
Anyway, now that I am still writing this - after an hour or so - you can tell I'm half asleep, it's taken me a lot longer than normal LOL... 
Moving on to clothes... A Simple but sexy pair of Moto Jeggings from Fishy Strawberry - that give you an ass which I will tell you now can get the boys drooling LOL least it did in my case more than once lol - and a comfy but older Goth1c0 shirt which I picked up at an event forever ago and I am ready to just sit back, talk to you my dear readers and hopefully start the day without too much drama lol... 
Talking of which, something silly that I wanted to share, but that seems to be something which is DEFINITELY proving to be a useful idea in Rudhland at the moment, my darling sister Lily found this and it's too good not to share... 

Next time someone starts spouting drama, and it doesn't need to be a woman by the way, ask them "Do you Fart?!" Go on I dare you LOL...

A LODE of Flowers gives me Hope!

Every year a massive collection of designers get together in SL for themed shows... Each one if a different theme and each one features varying collections of designers. You know that you will always be able to find something that you want at one of these fairs, no matter how big there is always that ONE THING that you need! Hair Fair, Jewellery Fair, Shoe Fair... They are all coming later on in the year, but TOMORROW the SL Annual Skin Fair for 2015 opens its doors. 
Not to sound like I am rubbing it in, but one of the perks that being a blogger has some times, is that if you're in the right groups you can have an access to things that you might not normally get... One of these things I want to share with you, an exclusive for the up coming Skin Fair and I am VERY excited about it!!! 

Let me set the story in motion... Way, Way, Way back, in what feels like a lifetime ago now, before I started wearing a Glam Affair skin as my main everyday skin, I was addicted to wearing the skins from the store Sugar. This was the very early work of Miss Iokko Molko, who has since moved on to bigger and better things in the form of her new store yumyums, but it seemed like she had moved away from working on things like skins and into the realm of fashion! 
Then a few days ago she sent a special message to her bloggers, and BAM SHE'S BACK WITH A SKIN TO BE RELEASED AT SKIN FAIR, and I think I am in Love!!! 
The skin I am wearing in the photo above, is the new yumyums release called Hope. It comes in around 5 different - though Iokko you can kick my butt if I'm wrong on this - skin tones, and I asked for something a little more tanned than my previous Glam Affair Skin, in a Latte Colour. Each colour tone has sets of lipstick also available, these include a softer and more natural set or a bright and crazy colour set... 
To set the look off perfectly, I even found some of the amazing LODE Magnolia Flowers in a peach shade that matched my cherry lips. LODE make some of my favourite flowers in SL... They seem so real, so beautiful and ugh I just feel addicted I need to have as many of them as I can hehe... These are an Arcade release, but something that I suggest you should definitely fight the Arcade Lag for hehe... 
Between the flowers and the skin I am super excited... I LOVE when things like this happen, and I LOVE this new skin... THANK YOU IO and it's so good to be able to wear a yumyums skin!!!

Welcoming the Dark...

This weekend was brilliant, HellBone was out in RL playing with his BaCa buddies, the MC was peaceful and happy and I was able to find some time to play by myself!!! It's times like this that I cherish most in SL... Don't get me wrong I LOVE being with my SL friends and family, but when I have a moment to myself, that's when I start to get a little creative! I dig into my playbox and find all kinds of interesting things that sit waiting patiently until I am ready to use them...
These things are some of them, they are things that I have been waiting on for the right moment... This was one of those moments... The time I could be alone, and call upon the Dark Arts.

This outfit from OrsiniRed at the latest round of The Fantasy Collective was something that I wouldn't normally have chosen, but I for some reason found myself gravitating towards it... Maybe it was the lure of the Dark Arts?!
While wearing this outfit I added a gorgeous necklace from KOSH - that was released as a past Lazy Sunday Item - called Zuvuya in a soft gold colour to match the straps, but something strange started to happen. I had an itch that I needed to scratch... Upon looking in a mirror, the itch on my forehead had revealed a jewel from which a tattoo was spreading over my face in a Spyralle pattern. This made me fit perfectly into the Dark Arts Genre!! My eyes even began to take on a Space - or mysterious - feel, that made me look something akin to a Stargazer - possibly because they are the Space Eyes from Stargazer Creations though lol - and I fully transformed into something dark and magical!
Dressed like this, I went exploring, seeking out some of SL's darker destinations... I found the most adorably dark little club - set in the theme of a dark carnival - TheFreakShowRadio club is a place that should not be missed, and I hope when I go back there will be more people present to talk to!!! It looks like a really fun place to hang out... They even have a corner in the church that is perfect for practicing the Dark Arts...

You'll always Prosper!

Space has never been something that I have been interested in... I mean I LOVE looking at the moon and stars, but I have a bit of a phobia regarding Aliens so I tend to avoid anything space related! Though the death of a much loved Actor, one that I grew up seeing on the television in the background as my mother was a fan, Mr Leonard Nemoy - aka and possibly better known as Spock - in these past few weeks made me think of how sad I will be when other much loved musicians or TV personalities will go... It sounds strange to think of it like that, but when it comes down to it the death of anyone is a sad thing, I never knew these people personally but they became a part of my life in that I grew to enjoy hearing their songs on the radio or seeing their faces on the TV.  I still remember how I felt when Kurt Cobain died - as I'm sure many people do - or Robin Williams, for example, but last night I was watching a repeat of a Blue Planet TV Show, one of David Attenborough's programmes and I felt melancholy - for me losing him will be like losing an institution!!!
So this one goes out to you Spock, and to all the mourning Trekkies out there too!!

I wanted to create something a little Sci-Fi, without the aliens of course! So it was kinda lucky - almost serendipitous - that the SL Sci-Fi Convention was taking place at the moment that I went location scouting for a photo... I found this amazing booth, by Starbuckk Seraphis of Starland Development Group, at the Convention and knew that I had to use it as my Spock inspired space setting. I just hope they don't mind I was climbing all over their booth!
The outfit I chose was something simple-ish - by Rudh standards - and sexy, something that would have been a good second choice for the ladies on board the Starship Enterprise perhaps?!
The dress itself comes from SAKIDE and was a release at a past Sci-Fi themed event! Called Leyana, these dresses come with a HUD to customise the band colours and are subtly textured with a very Sci-Fi feeling pattern. I dressed it up with a pair of over the knee Marilyn Boots from Reign - that you can grab yourself at No.21 - then the rest was merely set dressing. For some reason I decided that I wanted to wear the [Aux] Devilish Headband that I'd had collecting dust in my hoard for a while, a simple See No Evil Eye-Patch from Half-Deer and then a pretty but somewhat classy looking collar from Lost Junction as decoration... Lastly I had to wear the [geek.] Prosper Necklace - a group freebie - in a dedication to Spock...
