The Meeting of the Season Changers!

August 1st always feels like start of Summer, even though Summer has officially been happening for a few weeks, and we're actually starting to gear down towards Autumn...
There is soon to be a mingling of the fae from different worlds... The Summer Fae with her gorgeous floral colours will meet the darker Autumn Fae, who are coming to kill off the greenery and welcome to Wintery flakes of snow... They are gathering slowly, meeting on edge of the dark forest on the Swamp Path... 

It is the Midnight Order, that has brought these two fae together on the Swamp Bridge - a release from Violetility - but the Dandelion Fairy is the one hosting the welcoming committee... Sharing her Dandelion Blooms with the Autumnal Goblinesque - thanks to the LOGO Cinder Goblin Head, available now at Midnight Order - and teaching her new friend how to create dandy magic... 
For now though, let's just hope that these two can share the spotlight before the Autumn ends the Summer and the colours fade from green to red...

Summoning the Demons

There's been so much drawing on the magic of the Halloween season already this month but with every day there is more and more to see, do and explore... I LOVE this time of year for all the dressing up and play time and dark twistedness that I can play around with... 
Today I decided that I wanted to do something more to bring the Halloween Horrors to life, draw the darkness out to play... Time to start making sacrifices in Hell... 

On the altar in Hell, Rudh is offering herself up to the darkness... A sacrifice for the Gods of the underworld... Enchantress in the Ruins

Its been a few days since I´ve sat behind a PC and spent some time to write something here... I´m away in the woods for New Years to avoid the craziness of fireworks that seem to dominate in the Netherlands. It´s been a very restful day, and I´ve sent a few hours just walking in nature in winter sun. It always feels a little like there is something magic out in the woods, an enchanting feeling - though that could also have something to do with the book I´ve been lost in whilst I´m inside. 
So as one of my final posts for the year, the hidden magic is coming out, my inner enchantress is calling us out to the ruins in the woods... 

There´s a magical ruin in the woods, that is calling everyone to it so that the magic of the new year can be brought to life... Out on Pendle Hill, the magic is calling... 
Rudh has dressed for the part and magically gorgeous is precisely the look that she´s managed to achieve. 
The dress just seemed so perfect, it´s a new release - although the release has been out for a while now at the Winter´s Hollow event - from Oubliette. The Asherah Gown has been released in a selection of colours, all with that gorgeous patternation, which makes the perfect look for an enchantress in the ruins...

Saving the Fluffy Dragon

I've been reading back through some of my recent ramblings, and I've noticed a pattern LOL... I seem to spend far too much time complaining about how tired I am and so from now on, take that as a given and let's talk interesting stuff shall we?! 
I seem to have been on quite a fairy tale kick lately, and a lot of that may be an escape from busy RL - a good escape right?! 

While on the subject of running away, this little fairy was tasked with a mission... Break into the dark fae world through the Fairytale Mirror Portal - a mirror by LOVE - located in the forest glade amongst the Viking Standing Stones - by Hextraordinary - to rescue the Rare Snow Fluffy Dragon - from Lovely Alien - and return him to safety!

Deadly Sirens in Cages

Every now and then, if you're lucky, you find yourself being presented with an opportunity. How you may use that opportunity is entirely up to you, but sometimes it's best to grab the bull by the horns and cling on tight to see where the opportunity takes you... Today is one of those times for me, I've been asked to submit some of my ramblings for the awesome Ride Out Magazine. I'll admit I'm a little nervous about it, it's a magazine by SL Bikers, for SL Bikers - that shouldn't be too difficult since I'm one of those myself - but I've been given free reign to talk about ANYTHING! That's a lot of pressure... Where should I start? What would people find interesting?! 
Since it's Halloween Season - yes Halloween is not just a day, it's an entire Season for me - I guess I will start there! The MC family that I am part of - Gators MC for those of you that don't know - are holding their 6th Annual Halloween Maze Event, which gives me the perfect excuse for my favourite past-time... Playing dress up!!! 

I've always loved creating weird and wonderful characters for myself, but Halloween is most definitely a time of year when that seems more accepted. I throw open my SL wardrobe and pull together all kinds of different looks, and OK I guess I go a little overboard sometimes but let's face it, we're all playing Second Life and we all enjoy making our avatars look interesting, be that in a sexy, or cute, or scary, or even in a bikerish kind of way. 
When it comes to costumes, there are so many available out there right now, we're spoilt for choice. I love to let my imagination run riot, picking a theme and seeing where it takes me. Whenever I'm given a chance to play dress up I guess I take it as an opportunity to grab the bull by the horns! Yet I know that's not for everyone, some people prefer the ease of buying an outfit or an avatar. No matter how you create your costumes, I love to see the creativity and the hints of your personality through your choices. 
So I guess my question for you is, what will you be this Halloween?!

Where the Heck is Alice?

How do you get to Wonderland? A question pondered by many... How do the Wonderlandians get Alice back in times of trouble?! Again a good question... I remember these stories so well from my childhood, not only because of the amazing Disney movies but also having been told the stories by my parents as a little child. 
So when I saw that Enchantment were running a Wonderland themed round I was more than a little excited! When I finally found myself in Wonderland though, it seems like the Wonderlandians are under card siege!!! 

The poor little rabbit - yes I know Rudh isn't white but then there's no need to complain in this Wonderland the White Rabbit is more like a playboy bunny anyway LOL...

Temptress of 1313 Mockingbird Lane

Today will be my 10th post of 2018, and it's been quiet a varied year in terms of blogging so far lol. It keeps things interesting! There's been some cute ones and some grungy dark ones, but today's will be another of the naughtier variety. 
I was recently added to a blogger group for a store that I've messed around with before, but never as an official blogger for their team. It was a big surprise to be accepted for 1313 Mockingbird Lane - in fact I will admit that I even forgot I had applied hehe - but I am so excited to start sharing some pretties, and hope that the kinkiness they create is something I can portray well... 

For my first trip into the 1313 Mockingbird Lane blogger box, I am playing around with their new Temptress outfit. The Temptress Silks and separate Temptation Harness are available at 4Mesh and come with a colour hud and two different skirts that are rigged for different styles of movement. If you don't like one the other is great, and vice versa. Now I will admit that I've worn panties... This set of silks is very revealing, but SO PRETTY, and I hope there are people out there that are less scared to show everything off!!
To showcase this pretty but slightly vampiric style of silks, I wanted somewhere pretty yet kinky to play in. I rediscovered a place called Angel of Pain's BDSM Island and it's perfect.So well decorated with the kink hidden amongst the nature and calm settings. 
The outfit is a Dom magnet it seems hehe... It wasn't long before I was attracting attention, a cat whip - from Gabriel - was placed around my neck and I was lead into the keep for a little ice and wax torture... Thank you for this outfit LOL...

Frozen Crystal Queen

SL seems to have fast moved through the Autumn colours and is already abundant with snowy scenes, Christmas is well and truly on it's way to domination in SL. Christmas is abound, with sales events and themed releases springing up all over the grid... IT'S NOVEMBER PEOPLE!!! 
Still I can't help letting the magic take over just a little, I want to let the magical pretty fantasy feeling wash over me, and I guess, what better way to start than with a little sparkle! 

It could be the sparkle in the air that this time of year seems to have, which drew me to these amazing crystals and throne at Whimsical - they are SO Whimsical and so devine, I was powerless to resist... Made by the amazing {LORE} store, the throne is available with adult and PG versions, and the Crystals are available in light and dark versions with 2 different styles up for grabs... 
It made me create an Ice Queen feel in my story telling mind... A princess abandoned in a the snowy caverns, deep underground... Twisted perhaps into someone that ruled with an icy glare and a chilling beauty. Her cavernous grotto lit with tiny crystal lamps - which are actually the Moroccan Lamps from The Looking Glass - glinting their warm light off the dangerous looking icicles that adorn her Winter Crown - available from The Half Moon Market at Whimsical!

A Mermaid Pet in the Zoo

There have been monsters coming out of the world of Pandora's Box for a few days, and many of them are wreaking havoc across Second Life, but not all... Some of them have been captured, held as pets at the hands of devious masters. Being stuck in this world is beginning to take it's toll on one of Pandora's Monsters, if only she can find her way back to the Box... 
The poor little Mermaid - not to be confused with the Ariel of Disney tales - was found on a beach, and "rescued" by a handsome and seemingly courageous prince. Though looks can be deceiving... Far from saving her, he was pleased to have a new pet for his zoo... 

Trapped in the prince's disused swimming pool, in the town of Furillen, this poor little monstrous Mermaid is showing signs of how damaging the once chlorinated water can be to her skin... She's breaking out in a rash, and her scales are beginning to show...
The scales are a Pandora's Box creation from Zombie Suicide, as are these haunting looking Jekyll & Hyde Eyes from [QE], both of which are available exclusively in this month's box...

Demons in Pandora's Box

Pandora's Box has been open for a few days now and the Monsters within are still crawling into the light... There are so many pretty things within this month's brand new alternative lifestyle themed Loot Box, that it's simply chaos as they all try to reach for the light at the same time! 
This monster made it out without trouble though, she's a demoness, a queen of sorts, and one that seems to be trapped in some kind of agony... Crying draconic tears of pure gold... 

Taken in one of the dark cave sets at WHOLE WHEAT, this is a photo of that rarely seen draconian demoness... 
On her head she wears the Yokai Immortality Headdress and horns, to show off her rank as a queen, a thought that is made clearer by the large black diamond that is worn within her PEACHES Myrsella Choker - both of which are available in May's Pandora's Box by the way. 
It is, though, her golden RobotEyes - from Nightmare at Genre - that are shedding the CURELESS Dragon tears, which make you feel the pain and loneliness that she's feeling...
It's a little hard to see, so I was able to catch a close-up, but while you're that close please give her a hug... She needs it!!! Back Home Without Her Keys!

Back home in the Netherlands since yesterday, I'm trying to spend this weekend resting after a busy visit to my parents and lots of craziness that I know is on my way. I had so much fun while I was in the UK, but now it's back down to earth with a bump... BUT FIRST SHOPPING!!!
Missing the events in SL has been OK but now I'm home... Rudh will have to get her little avatar butt busy!!
There is just one problem at the moment... 

She cant get into her house, because she cannot find her keys?! Sitting on the steps to the treehouse, she has opened her purse and checked through her shopping, but now she is going to have to wait until HellBone turns up to open the door again... Dammit!

Cain's Demonic Nun

A few days ago I mentioned that there was some changes coming over me. A strange mark had appeared on my head and horns had appeared... Since then the changes have continued, the horns have in fact gone but I have been having some very strange and dark urges!
I keep hearing this beating of a drum in my head and having this tingling feeling shooting through me whenever I feel the slightest urge to violence - I'm not really a violent person but let's ignore that for the post shall we? LOL - I've noticed that the strange mark on my head starts to glow a little. 
Then there was the strange occurrence in the Cemetery... 

It feels like a ghost of a past life, but I found myself in a cemetery the other day - I may have been dreaming, I am not sure - I was wearing an outfit that resembled a slutty nun Halloween costume - actually a cute dress from Razor and a wig and habit from Spellbound with a choker from Livid - and was in the graveyard at the Haunted Silent Peacock Hotel... and what was weirder was the scarring that seemed to just appear all over my body like a ghost of a memory... 
It was like having an out of body experience, I watched myself force open a grave and pull out a rather strange looking weapon. Though maybe the weirdest thing I noticed was that my eyes were jet black? 
After a few hours of investigation I've come to realise that the mark and the blade are linked to Cain - the blade and the curse... 
Now to come to reality I am positively fan girling over this blade. You may remember that a while back I got excited by the Angel Blade that was created by Violetility. Well, at the time I spoke with Gwen of Violetility and I - like others it seems - asked if she'd work on a Blade of Cain to match so that there was a set of blades from based on those in the Supernatural TV Series. 
My question is, now that I have the mark and the blade, how am I ever going to get rid of them both?!

Something is changing...

Over the last couple of days I've been posting things that are a little bit naughty, and today I am going to do something totally different for a change of pace... Sorry to all the people that love the naughty, but today I'm going to be a little more fantasy of a different sort hehe. 
There is something dark and mysterious going on with me today, I'v been changed by a mark on my face that appeared over night and now I hear something sinister calling me. I'm not sure what it is yet, but it when I looked in the mirror and saw the drastic changes that I'd undergone in my sleep last night, I felt an evil laugh building up inside of me, ready to burst free... 

This strange new scarring on my face is tingling, a buzz seems to be coming from the deep scar on my forehead, and I have to do some research to find out what it is... Until then I cannot help but marvel at my amazing new horns - a release from PSYCHO.Byts for the Stormwood Hills Event - and the transformation to my eyes - thanks to Suicidal Unborn.
There is definitely some kind of strange mystical transformation taking place, I will have to do some more investigating to let you know what is going on...

Testing out Furniture

I may have said this before but I am about to say it again... I LOVE taking pictures and always feel happy having done so, but the vast majority of my blog posts focus on people... When it comes to taking pictures of anything that's not people I feel like I find myself falling flat! I seem to loose all confidence in my skills and feel very much like a fish out of water! 
Though when I was sent the brocante collection from the latest round of Uber, I thought "suck it up Rudh, let's try this"... 

This is the gorgeous new collection from brocante. The Metal Frame Bed comes in a selection of different colours at Uber, where you can also find the Barn Door Sliders and the Arrow Marquee lights too! I love them as a set, especially against this slightly crazy wallpaper, which is a group gift from SilentSparrow. 
It's not the best photo of furniture, I know people that take a LOT better, but as one of my practice shots... I'm pretty happy with it, and the furniture is just awesome!

Swings on the day of a King

It's Koningsdag (King's Day) here in Holland... The whole country is out celebrating... Parties, Free Markets and craziness are popping up all over the country, bringing people together even though in the past few days it's been very cold and wet. Though the sun is shining here today - maybe the Dutch are lucky as a nation?! 
It's given me a lovely day off... I went to a free market and bought a few little things, and now I am spending some time relaxing and working on my favourite hobby... BLOGGING!!! 

I spent a lovely few hours today sitting on a brand new toy at my playhouse treehouse... Lewd made lovely, flower decorated rope swings that they have called "Sweet Seats". These are available at the latest round of Cosmpolitan, so be quick as they won't be there for long!! 
Wearing my new Mila Dungarees and Sweater outfit - from Kitja, it was so much fun to just sit here and swing for a while, watching the fairies flit in and out of the trees as they went about their work... 
What a great way to spend a very cold April day?!

Ever feel like you're on show? Feel like people cannot get enough of knowing everything that goes on in your life, like they are viewing you as a bit of a Trueman Show?! Wanna stand up and look someone in the eye and say "what are you lookin' at?"
It's a very weird feeling...

I know that I put myself out there a bit as a blogger, but here I can tell you what I want to tell you, the friend of mine seems to ask the most weirdly personal questions and it makes an instant edgy feeling - like an elephant in the room! When I say friend, it's more like new acquaintance... I've asked her to stop but it just seems to continue!!! So maybe a photo with the way I feel when talking to her etched all over it will be a help? Sometimes people need a visual right?! 
The Gas Mask is one from Remarkable Oblivion, for anyone that is wondering, and it fist perfectly with the Spellbound Kitty hair!

Living Dead Clown

Today is HellBone's RL Birthday, and so I am going to get all dressed up in my best and try to wow him like only a little Living Dead Doll could... Not that it will work, I mean he's more likely to be interested if I was dressed as a Dinosaur - trust me it's happened in the past - and I'm just doing this for my own happiness... I never need an excuse to play dress up, especially when it involves letting my Living Dead Dolly side come to the surface!
Today I'm a Living Dead CLOWN Dolly, which to quote a super hot demon hunter is weird, because "apparently Clowns Kill!" hehe...

This entire outfit came together because of two things... One being the amazingly cute Dead Dollz Outfit called The Countess - to which HellBone said, it's not fully rezzed for me your boobs are still showing *facepalms* - and the way that I put my make-up together...
The outfit looked perfect with my thigh high BAX Regency boots - like they were made for each other - but I don't think this outfit would have worked so well if I hadn't done my make-up the way that I did... So after playing around for a while at Picklesong, I decided it was time to head home and take a better, clearer face shot so that you can see what it really looks like...

As per usual, I've built it up in layers... Excluding my usual scar from antielle, I've gone to town on the rest of the make-up I wear... Crimson smeared Lipstick with mascara tears from antielle over Squeek's "Not Exactly a Clown" Make-up but under the [mock] Tainted Love Zombie Makeover bloody tears... While the red smeared lipstick has been slashed as it was smeared thanks to antielle's Kuchisake Onna...
For one last flourish, and something that makes it seem kinda pertinent to the month of the Valentine, I've made the sad clown a little sadder with a crying rose from KOSH... These are not new but still some of the prettiest roses in SL... Perfect for dead girls at Valentines!

Glamazons at Genre

When I was at university in the UK, one of my close friends was a woman called Jude. She was a mature student, but one that loved to come out dancing with us and boy she could party hard. I have some very fond memories of times we went out, and a recent shopping event brought one in particular right back into my mind. We went to a gay bar for her Birthday - it was a regular haunt for us when she was coming out - and they had a quiz night hosted by the most flamboyant drag queen I've ever seen in the flesh - because I love watching Ru Paul on TV and no one beats Ru Paul LOL...
The reason that I bring this up in a rambling is because fairly recently I was sent a dress from adoness, that was designed for the newest round of Genre and the them of Drag Queens...

Never will you see a round of a shopping event with so much over-the-topness and glitter as this month's round of Genre... The Drag Queen theme has allowed designers to go overboard on both colour and glitteriness and it made me smile! I HAD to dress up in one of the gorgeous outfits - the Glitter Queen Outfits include a dress and hat - from adoness and head out to live like a Queen hehe...
Sinners Burlesque club is the perfect place to do that, it's decadent, and glamouous, the perfect place for a Drag Queen to take up residence...
In fact to play us out today I am going to leave you with something fun and silly, a song from Ru Paul - the ultimate Queen - and one of my favourite dance around the house to clean by songs... Glamazon!

Magical Spells aren't all about Kissing Frogs right?

Fairytales are the stuff of dreams... When they enter into the stuff of reality it comes as something of a shock and so some might say that fairytales are best left as dreams...
Yet I believe that life should be like a fairytale! Rudh is living my fairytale for me... I kissed a frog - OK maybe frog is harsh but he wasn't the best looking avi when I met him! - and HellBone became a prince that whisked me off my feet and dragged me away to a far away land. I live as a Princess, my own living dead doll version of one anyway, and ride with knights on shiny, metallic horses, and yes like fairytale I seem to find myself facing many adversities - of the Drama kind - but I come out stronger with a greater sense of well-being and more magical powers of strength...
I'm going to let you into my little Fairytale world... Hold on tight, things are a little bit of a bumpy ride!

Magic Spells are often a necessity in fairytales, they are the entire reason that good can triumph over evil... Maybe today I will read this HUGE magic book - one from the great and powerful witch [ keke ]  - and see if I can make good things happen... I'll pull on my Sorcery Hat - from Magika - grab a few of these ingredients from nefarious.inventions and perhaps a Frog Prince from that BEETLEBONES store just for good measure. It's worth the risk right? Oh and OOOOOPS better not forget something to mix everything together in, someone grab me that Mortar and Pestle, the nefarious.inventions one please...
Now which spell do I choose?! Today I am feeling better than I have in WEEKS... I faced the Fairytale Darkness and this time at least, I won, so let's have a happy spell now shall we?? Maybe one that brings me lots of money?
