The things in my head Monday Meme...

I feel in the mood to work on a Berry Meme this week... It's been a while since I did one but as she always says we can pick and choose and do what we have time for... Well, I'd pulled together a pretty photo but had no idea what to write to go with it... THEN Berry put up a Meme this week that I really liked the idea of... Answering questions with the first thing that comes into our heads lol... THIS SHOULD BE ENTERTAINING lol... 

Told you the picture was pretty lol... I am liking the pictures that I have been creating recently, I just seem to be getting a little better and this was no exception to that... Perhaps a little more girlie than you might be used to seeing me, but hey sometimes you have to step outside the box right?! I stepped outside the box - my photo box that is - and wandered around Hazardous to get this shot, but let's get on with answering Berries statement questions... 
All I need to do is finish the sentence with the first thing that pops into my head... There shouldn't be any waffle, but you know me lol SO I cannot promise LOL... 

I am… barely awake.

Arcane Foolish Royalty

The Tarot are a historical set of playing cards, that once upon a time formed the basis of many card games which later twisted towards uses of a more interesting nature... The occultists and mystics later started using them for divination purposes. 
These cards, just like any normal playing cards can vary from plain and simple to stunning artworks, and so it excites me to talk to you about a new event that opened up called "Create Your Own Tarot"  - CYOT for short - with the first Tarot card needing a SL artistic interjection being The Fool! 
I was super excited to hear that a collaboration - of sorts - had taken place between two brilliant fantasy creators... Naenia Demina - of ImmateriA - and Aggie Mactavish - of Stargazer Creations - have items that blend so well together, you'd think they came from the same mind hehe... 

The Arcane Fool outfit created by Naenia, comes in 5 different colour sets and each includes not only the dress and the ruffle, but also SHOES, a jester hat and a sceptre. As you can see though I took a little more of a regal route than perhaps I should... LOL... I am definitely more along the lines of Marie Antoinette or something here, but that is most likely the fault of the crazy ass hair I chose to wear with this look LOL... 
The hair is a very old freebie - that may have been a hunt prize - from Entropy Designs. I am not sure if this is still even available, but it was the catalyst as to why I needed to be in a harbour of the Renaissance Island that I had chosen as my backdrop! 
There was one last thing that needed to make the outfit complete, and I mentioned before, the brilliant matching make-up from Stargazer Creations... The Fool's Maquillage comes in tones that match the ImmateriA dresses, and it gives a subtle hint of things being a little more the fool than just a bare face would... 
Such a perfect team, I cannot wait to see these two working together again!!!

Spring starts with a Solar Eclipse

The calm comes after the storm... Yesterday was a whirlwind of a day... My Birthday was filled with RL visitors, more than a little exciting trips out to Birthday Surprises and a failed attempt at a SL Birthday Party - lol the planner was stuck in RL and no one else knew what was going on hehe...
So today little old me decided it was time to take the weight off my feet, to curl up somewhere cosy, and wait for the Solar Eclipse that is supposed to be happening today at about 9.30ish - in my RL time zone. Not that I will get to see it, because it's cloudy as all hell in RL, but I might go try to see if I can see anything... You never know!
In SL the skies are always clear - if you want them to be of course - so I found the perfect place to park my butt, look to the sky as the Lunar Eclipse was taking place and enjoy the first "official" day of Spring!

The spot I found was on the Gators MC Sim... Home in other words... Although it was missing something. Then a Consignment Package fell from the sky, as if by magic - or perhaps a passing bluebird hehe. Mr Haller has created this AMAZING set called Bluebird for this month's Collabor88. It features pieces like the star shaped firepit, the trellis complete with ivy and lights and the adorable Bluebird Caravan! This set is brilliant, you can use it with or without the ivy, and the lights turn on and off, the soft furnishings can all be changed to fit your personal colour taste and the poses make for a really relaxing feeling. I cannot gush about this set enough, I LOVE IT!!
I'm also pretty fond of this outfit, and I will admit that it was one that I had no idea where it was going when I started getting dressed, but I am glad that it turned out to be so cute!
The pants are a past event release from Sn@tch - possibly Wednesday something or other? I'm not entirely sure anymore LOL - but they are Circus Jeans in such bright contrasting colours that I was drawn to them. I had no idea what I would wear with them, all I knew was that I needed to have them LOL... I kept the rest of the outfit fairly neutral with a Chambers Shirt from Razor and a pair of comfy stomper boots from A&Y called Deuz. The necklace metal colour matches perfectly, and was such a pretty gift from a friend, that had come from the BananaN gacha, I couldn't resist wearing it.
The other thing that needs to be discussed, that I am loving, is the new Spellbound hair called Sweetsleep. Gotta love Spellbound hair, I'm glad to see a new style from her after so long...
Isn't relaxing lovely?! I missed the eclipse, but the weather was bad, still at least I have a new place to chillax and something pretty to wear right?!

March 19th... MY BIRTHDAY!!!!

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!! 

I'm getting just a year older, and no signs of being wiser yet, but I have had some HUGE surprises today... My Hubby spoilt me rotten and gave me something that I have been begging for, for a long time now and he has always said no to, and I cannot wait until I can introduce her to the world. 
In SL, I was told I had to dress like a fairytale being and get ready for a PARTY!!!

I found an amazing location to take a photo of my fantasy being, and no doubt I will be going back here time and time again. 
I became a Birthday Cake Frosting Fairy... 
I wore an outfit from dollle* called Melting Paint, but for this purpose I am going to say it's cake icing! The wings I had seemed to match it perfectly, and I LOVE these seriously pretty girlie wings from DRD. I have candles and frosting in my horns - from The Plastik - and Birthday Decorated Bunny Ears - from Half-Deer, as well as plenty of pretty accessories and tattoos... I LOVE this look, it might have a close up later but for now...

Follow the Wooden Stump Road...

The Arcade - unless you have been completely oblivious and have no idea what I am talking about, you may have noticed - is well underway... Up and running for the entire month of March... As always, it seems pretty brilliant and an understandable reason why people get so excited about it each and every time! It's like a feeding frenzy in a shark tank! It could have been handy for people looking to get interesting birthday gifts for me too - just sayin' lol - if I hadn't already been in and raided the place myself!
I LOVED collecting things for my little play house... This place takes me away to somewhere peaceful, somewhere fun and somewhere that I can just escape to play! So while I was setting out my new toys, I had a feeling that made me giggle, it was something akin to Dorothy's feelings as she arrived in Oz... I spend most of my time surrounded by bikers, this was a bit of "you're setting out cute toys, this seems totally opposite to normal" moment LOL...

As you can see though the entrance to my garden follows a wooden stump path - thanks to Alchemy by the way - that directs you towards my toy house! My garden has now been decorated with some awesome Lego style plastic looking flowers too. I know these aren't to everyone's taste but I couldn't resist the [tea.s] Block-ee Flowers. The inhabitants of this adorable place are plushie animals! They float in the breeze attached to balloons - such as the Fly Away Bear from Boogers - and are Petal Pals to the flowers - available from Intrigue Co at The Arcade - each smiling and giving a warm welcome to anyone who visits! 
Whilst on my trip to this strange land, something rather weird happened to my dog! What started out as a perfectly normal looking Weenie Dog - bought just a few days ago from the SilentSparrow Pet Store, found at The Arcade - in our travel to this new found land he somehow became a Weenie Weenie Dog!
On my feet were a Rudhish style pair of "Ruby Slippers" - they'd be better described as Tropicano Heels in a bright magenta colour - from Bens Beauty, now off to skip down the wooden stump road!

So to the rest of my awesome "Not Kansas Anymore" outfit... Some of it is new, some old but I think the combination is just the right amount of kookie!
The dress I am wearing is one of the older things, but it's been stored neatly away until I can find it for a moment like this. It's a Somnia release called City Scape - in a Day pattern, there is also a Night version to match, and it comes with cloudy leggings.
Then I went to town with my accessories... The horns on my head were made of Pinkberry Ice Cream - that are available from Riske at the Luck of the Irish Gacha Fair - my lips are slicked with green lipstick and dusted with sprinkles, I knew I shouldn´t have made out with that donut -  but thanks to Babysteps for letting cover their Skin Fair Release, the Baby Butter Lips! There is yet MORE yummies in the form of my (Yummy) Spec-tacular Edible Specs...
The only other thing that I took with me is a basket that I found when I landed, you never know when things like that might come in useful... You see it did with me, I found two Wonderland Pixicat Kittens that needed my help, I couldn't have taken them with me without the basket...

A LODE of Flowers gives me Hope!

Every year a massive collection of designers get together in SL for themed shows... Each one if a different theme and each one features varying collections of designers. You know that you will always be able to find something that you want at one of these fairs, no matter how big there is always that ONE THING that you need! Hair Fair, Jewellery Fair, Shoe Fair... They are all coming later on in the year, but TOMORROW the SL Annual Skin Fair for 2015 opens its doors. 
Not to sound like I am rubbing it in, but one of the perks that being a blogger has some times, is that if you're in the right groups you can have an access to things that you might not normally get... One of these things I want to share with you, an exclusive for the up coming Skin Fair and I am VERY excited about it!!! 

Let me set the story in motion... Way, Way, Way back, in what feels like a lifetime ago now, before I started wearing a Glam Affair skin as my main everyday skin, I was addicted to wearing the skins from the store Sugar. This was the very early work of Miss Iokko Molko, who has since moved on to bigger and better things in the form of her new store yumyums, but it seemed like she had moved away from working on things like skins and into the realm of fashion! 
Then a few days ago she sent a special message to her bloggers, and BAM SHE'S BACK WITH A SKIN TO BE RELEASED AT SKIN FAIR, and I think I am in Love!!! 
The skin I am wearing in the photo above, is the new yumyums release called Hope. It comes in around 5 different - though Iokko you can kick my butt if I'm wrong on this - skin tones, and I asked for something a little more tanned than my previous Glam Affair Skin, in a Latte Colour. Each colour tone has sets of lipstick also available, these include a softer and more natural set or a bright and crazy colour set... 
To set the look off perfectly, I even found some of the amazing LODE Magnolia Flowers in a peach shade that matched my cherry lips. LODE make some of my favourite flowers in SL... They seem so real, so beautiful and ugh I just feel addicted I need to have as many of them as I can hehe... These are an Arcade release, but something that I suggest you should definitely fight the Arcade Lag for hehe... 
Between the flowers and the skin I am super excited... I LOVE when things like this happen, and I LOVE this new skin... THANK YOU IO and it's so good to be able to wear a yumyums skin!!!
