What do Angels with Red Wings eat?

Strange to see a little angel sitting in the clouds and enjoying the sunlight, especially when you think that she's an angel of Horror, but that's what she is... Don't let her innocent look fool you!?!
I'll share with you a possible little secret right now, and that is, Angels are like flamingoes, the colour of their feathers changes depending on what they eat! Now I've always believed that angels eat cake LOL... Why else would something that tastes like Heaven have been created?! Duh?! LOL... This would explain the creamish wings they have right?

In this case, you can tell she's a Horror Angel, her wings are blood red, you can tell what she eats hehe...
Lots of different things make this Horror Angel look the way she does, things from various events too... For example the Florchild Halo that she is wearing is a Oneword release from The Horror, and there is a handful of things here that have been past event releases - such as the Thorned Beauty Rose Jewellery from roobix - but the entire reason for this photo was in fact one item... The Tasty Pudding Vamp Cobweb Stockings are that reason.  They are available in a series of different colours, and have the ability to wear the thorns without the socks too! These socks are a release for the Simply the Best line-up of Horror Haute this month, by the way, just so you know hehe...
So if you ever see an Angel with red wings, no matter how pretty they are... RUN!!

The end of Horror Haute as we know it... Changes are coming...

Horror Haute comes to a close for this month today, and next month is already shaping up to be a HUGE kettle of fish for the team... We're swelling in size due to the incoming union of two standing events... We had a corporate take over - of sorts - for events known as Spooky Cute and Against the Mainstream... Things behind the scenes of the Haute are also changing... There is much to come and my excitement is building, I CANNOT WAIT TO TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT hehe.. For that though you need to wait until next month, Mwhahahahahaha... 
Let me talk more about the last of the Voodoo things that you can grab today... Remember the event closes today and these things will go back to main store locations... If you miss them at the event, the prices may change too... DON'T MISS OUT! 

I have three Horror Hauteish things on in this photo... First off the Mask, which I have to say does stand out is the iVoudou Mask from Tasty Pudding. It has a selection of different make-up colours, and a mask that rolls through various different patterns and colours to create a very eerie magical effect! I wore a top from AfterMath Creations with a Damballa print, and then accessorised with some of the coolest nails I have seen in a LONG time... These nails might make you squeamish but the Dark Passions Voodoo Pinned Nails are simply amazeballs!!! 

The last of May's Horror Haute line up that I want to share, I cannot forget and miss this as it is just so cute, is the Thirst Dress from Blue Blood. The dresses are in various colours, with and without the floral prints, but they are a perfect look for a Voodoo dolly, that is if you can ignore the blood LOL... I LOVE blood so I have no issue going out in a dress that is soaked in it however LOL...

The Witching Hour got a little Demonic...

That's right! You heard me!!! The Witching Hour has pulled me in a Dark and Demonic direction today... There are things I could blame but to be honest no one would believe me, everyone knows it comes out of me occasionally, and you never know when it will pop up... BUT with a little help from The Witching Hour Designers, and a shove from a World Goth Designer and I was thrust straight into the middle of things... 

There were three things that started the Demonic Madness... All of those are items that are available at The Witching Hour this month, hence why I am blaming the event for making my demonic side come to the surface. The three things in question happen to all be head accessories... Firstly it was the HUGE BLD Battle Horns in their Dark Destroyer design - which seems to feature Tolkeineqsue Elvish writing? - then came the just as huge Bat Mask in it's dark blood colour from Tasty Pudding, and finally, because they seemed to just match with the other two items beautifully I chose to wear the Salem Slither eyes in a red tone! 
The only problem with all that was the fact that I found myself looking too human... I had to let the inner Demon take control... My skin became more of a Chameleon look, shifting to a bright red colour, to match the fire red Stargazer Creations style I was wearing in my hair. 
I decided to pull on something comfortable, casual but so adorable before I took a demonic walk through Hell... These Slacker Shirts from SongBird - which you can grab for yourself at the awesome World Goth Fair - come with dun slogans written all over them and they look awesome!
I love taking a walk through Hell... It's always so warm, even on the rainiest of days outside hehe, oh and there are these really pretty Flocks of Sylphs floating around Lilith's Den... They are almost like some of Hell's trapped souls!

Horror Haute Fashion Catalogue Style LOL...

Horror Haute is here again, and this time the theme is kinda close for the theme of the entire month of February... This time we are looking at the Dark Duets - romance within the dark, macabre and sometimes horrific genre that we all love. 
NOW before I go on with my post today I want to admit something. Right now I feel like I have been run over by a truck. My hubby - the one that I truly share my life in a Dark Duet with - has actually given me his "man flu" and I am barely hanging on... 
There will be more to come but I think for the first time ever in the history that I have been blogging Horror Haute, my look at the offered goodies is more of a fashionista style than anything I could have done otherwise... I actually quite enjoyed doing it this way, I blame it on the set of poses that are available but I will talk about those in more detail later... For now, enjoy my Horror Haute fashion run down hehe... 

From left to right we go then, and onto talking about my first look of four... 
This Dark Duet based outfit has a touch of the Romeo and Juliet... A classic Dark Duet from the great Mr William Shakespeare... This cute cami from Seddy's Creations with it's R&J icon print on the front is actually super cute... From the back - a view I didn't share I'm sorry - the straps come together and down the back attached to the shirt with a heart!! I added some Non-Horror Haute, but still worth getting your hands on, vinyl abstract leggings from [ abrasive ] and a little Cute Poison Spooky necklace, but then to complete the first of four fashionish looks I added the cute, but in true Horror Haute interesting looking Tasty Pudding Mina High Heels!!! 
My second outfit was a little simpler... Based on Miss Firefly - though I will be honest I am not entirely sure where that comes from or what it is - this outfit is the female look from SongBird for the Dark Duet theme. As you may well have guessed there is a Mr Firefly version too!!! I decided to add just a touch more blood, using a pretty kit from Ama. and as a finishing touch a little nod to my girlie side with a Lost Junction collar I bought recently in bright electric colours called Berlioz. 

Next comes what is possibly my most fantasy style outfit for this round... That being said there may be more to come but for now let's say this is my most fantasy based look... It features two very gorgeous Horror Haute items!! The dress is part of a Dark Duet - one of my favourites in fact - from a little movie called The Corpse Bride. Based on the style of Miss Victoria Everglot, the Crushed Violets dress would look awesome when teamed with someone wearing the Victor Vandoort male outfit!! As I didn't have a Victor, I decided to dress things up a little, adding the ImmateriA Dark Masquerade Poulpe Cloak and Collar, though there is more to come from this outfit later LOL, I think! Then for just a little touch of flair, I pulled on a bracer from an Axix set - which you can find at The Fantasy Collective - and a tiara that was a past Witching Hour release from [TfAtN]. 
Lastly and by no means least, the relaxed "going to work" look lol... This started all because of the Stargazer Creations release... The Bates Motel Staff shirt was something that I couldn't ignore... I was going to wear it no matter what LOL... So I made it a comfortable work uniform, adding a pair of rather clean and girlie jeans from Soul Designs, and some cute accessories too!!!  
Before I wrap up this post though there is just one more thing that needs an honourable mention... Dimma Poses! Beware of the Toilets in Japan!

Before I ramble off in my crazy mixed up story today, I want to point out that I mean NO OFFENCE to anyone Japanese! I have never been there and I'm hoping that the stories used by the designers, which I will be basing my ramble from, are just myths!!! Least I hope so anyway!! 
Today I am getting a little creative, least that's what my mind is suggesting I am doing, others might disagree LOL... 
This little series of photos will suggest to you WHY it's not a good idea to use the toilet in Japan! After this, if I ever visit I WILL be taking my own toilet paper with me LOL... Thank you Horror Haute for providing a little insight into that... 

"Blood on a wall in a toilet means you should leave..." Technically this goes for ANYWHERE in the world not just in Japan... Although I don't know if the Myth would be applicable anywhere in the world! Luckily, Brick-A-Brack's owner, and designer of the Aka Manto toilet, Dena Farspire, has provided a little background to her reasoning for making a toilet in a Japanese Horror theme! 
"Aka Manto approaches people in bathroom stalls (usually the outdoor variety) and asks them a simple, if perplexing question: "Would you like red paper or blue paper?" If you say red, your flesh is sliced into ribbons until you're effectively red. If you choose blue, you're strangled to death. If you pick any other colour, you're dragged to hell." - Taken from her notecard, thanks Dena. 
SO, point to be made here, if you're going to the toilet in Japan, and someone asks you about loo roll... What do you say? Either "Thanks but No thanks, I brought my own" or "Who cares about wiping my butt I am outta here!"

While we are discussing these photos by the way, let me just point out one other very important thing, which would be my outfit. The dress I am wearing - should that be kimono or something else I'm never sure so I will stick with dress lol - is from Tasty Pudding. It includes bloody and clean versions, and due to the two pictures I'm wearing both - but the second one has been pulled up around my butt because well no one wants to pee on their dress?!

Now, the Aka Manto is supposedly the one that is going to either cut you to ribbons or strangle you for your choice in toilet roll... I never saw what the myth looked like, but I did notice two very shifty looking characters wandering around, baring very similar knives to the ones in my dead girl back! 

It feels like the carnival is in town... First the murder in the toilet and now these two - potential - candidates to the culprit have been spotted. 
I will tell you now, I know for a fact that the looks they are wearing come from this month's round of Horror Haute, but don't look too long, those evil eyes might spot you... I hear whispers about them being Rokurokubi... 
As with the toilet, this look's designer - Naenia Demina of ImmateriA - included a notecard with the story behind this myth... "The Long Neck Woman, or “Rokurokubi”, is a Japanese urban legend about female creatures that look and act like normal humans. But at night their necks grow longer and longer, freeing their heads to move around almost independently from their bodies. Most Rokurokubi are young, attractive women, and they take pleasure in scaring regular humans. Some Long Neck Rokurokubi actually prefer to live their lives pretending to be a human. Although they may appear to be completely normal people, every night, their necks grow and grow, getting longer and longer, stretching out through windows in search of human prey." Just look for stretch marks in the neck area!!! Everything you see in this look, besides the knives, red hair - which is a brand new release from Truth by the way - and the rings are included in this HUGE offering from ImmateriA!!! 
After all that though, the most important things to remember when visiting Japan... Take you're own loo roll to the toilet when you go and check any women you meet for stretch marks on their necks LOL

Just a little More Christmas...

I swear that the Christmas looks are nearly over... I keep my decorations up in RL until twelfth night in RL, and so the Christmas looks for me may still keep coming until then LOL... It's not my fault though, I got back home and started to play with the awesomeness that is this month's Horror Haute collection - as I mentioned before - and wouldn't you know it, the theme is Zombie Apocalypse at Christmas...
These things were things that I simply had to share, I couldn't resist this sweater when I saw it in the Horror Haute line-up, and OK so Christmas is over, this is like one of those really ugly sweaters that you get and stash in the back of your wardrobe... Me being me, I HAD to wear it hehe... I think it's awesome! 

Another thing, we can say is YES OK Rudh did another look of the day LOL... There seem to be more and more of these appearing, just don't ever think my photography will be as good as the million fashion blogs out there... Mine will pretty much remain a journal, with some random looks of the days thrown in lol...
The sweater that got me raving is the main focus of this look however, and it fits perfectly with the Horror Haute's event theme this month. Tasty Pudding offered up male and female versions of this Dead Inside Sweater, and it just went to prove that I did not eat too much Christmas Dinner, I'm so skinny you can see my spine hehe... I accessorised it with a bracelet, worn over the sleeve so you can clearly see it, from Ghost Story. This is one of those new to Horror Haute Designers, but they seem to make pretty awesome stuff if this first outing is anything to go by! I love the different designs on each bead of this bracelet, I just wonder will it work to prepare me for the apocalypse, or will it just make me look awesome when the zombies attack. Thinking about it now, what am I worrying about, I'm a living dead dolly so it shouldn't bother me, but all these things are handy to know what I'm up against, I suppose LOL... 
Like always, I'm tying things from various events together with these Horrorific things... Variety is the spice of life and I like things a little spicy! The annual Ploom 12 Days of Christmas event is well under-way, in fact it is almost over... There are 12 awesome new hairstyles, as well as 12 festive poses, to choose from at a 50% discount until the event deadline. I chose this Ayane Hair because I really loved the somewhat crazy anime look to it, and to tie in with that childish feel I had to add a teddy bear. This teddy is one of the free gifts from The Arcade crew, who have placed goodies for free under the Christmas Tree. One of the goodies is this BoOgErS Santa Bear! 
Just one more thing, a little close-up... I just wanted to make sure the bracelet was very clear, so a close-up is the simplest option!!!
