I guess today I should be saying, Happy Valentines Day... I'm not really feeling it though, so I guess I'll go with BAH HUMBUG! Today,. I'm anti-Valentine... A Dead Dolly with a purpose, to spend most of the day saying BAH HUMBUG! If someone see's that little flying monster, SHOOT HIM!
He already tried to get me this morning but hey what can I say, it was easy to resit the flying baby...
I tried wearing a disguise so he'd think I'd already been shot! The Lovestruck Headband is a past group gift - but one that's still available I should add - from Remarkable Oblivion! To be a little cheekier, as a better disguise, I got a girlfriend of mine to leave lipstick marks on my cheek... But it was to no avail!
I'd had a new tattoo done on my chest - ignore the tattoos on my arms if you want to, those are older but the Identity Sleeve Tattoos really do go well with my new Chest Piece! The Cupidity Tattoo - by Paperdoll's at BodyFy - seemed much more like a target for Cupid than a deterrent, so I will definitely be talking to my tattoo artist!
I will say though that Cupid's Arrow had a rather weird affect on little Dead Doll Me... I felt an itchy sensation on my face, and had to check in the mirror but it seems like the scarring on my face was taking a romantic turn, not to mention the change to my eyes... Little Mofo was using my face as a Nightmare "Be Mine" advertising board!!! Dammit!

I want to the avoid Christmas feeling today, I'm feeling less in the mood and more like the Grinch... I still hurt and have way too much to do to be sitting around not able to walk so I am having to take things slowly, and today I decided I don't even want to think about Christmas! Is that weird?
I'm going to do some exploring. In a show I was watching recently, people went to an old house in search of treasures, and it makes me feel amazed to see the kind of things that are sometimes left behind to go to ruin.
It makes me jealous, I want to explore forgotten places like this, and well because it's so cold outside, I feel like exploring Grandma's Attic...
My Grandparents attic is nothing like this, but this location at WHOLE WHEAT really inspired me to get dirty and crawl through the cobwebs...
I've had the perfect outfit on for a while now, and YES it's starting to smell so I should probably throw it into the washing machine, but that makes it even more perfect to crawl through the cobwebs, right?
The Sweater is my new favourite piece of clothing, it's a KITJA Aurelia Sweater from the current - but ending soon - round of UBER - I pulled it on with the most amazing pair of Vinyl jeans which hug a girls curves in all the right places, and some cute little flats. These Reign Flats are possibly not the best for crawling around in a dusty attic but they looked cute while I was doing other things and that's what mattered lol...

Yesterday was a sad day in our RL home... HellBone and I lost one of our awesome sauce pets, our little Chicken - Bontje - passed away, we think most likely due to old age but the tough old bird fought till the end really trying not to let it beat her. She was the leader of our little chicken pack - we used to jokingly say she was more of a rotweiler than a chicken - and this morning was strange not being able to hear her talking away as the sun was coming up.
Still at the end, all day yesterday, it felt like she was trying, struggling, and although I hope not, suffering... Today I hope that she is at Peace, scrabbling around somewhere lovely with an endless supply of meal worms and sweetcorn, and a soft warm straw bed... It's bringing a tear to my eye just thinking about it... I hope she is at Peace...
A peaceful backdrop was easy to find, I wanted somewhere that I could think and create some positive thoughts in my mind... I found just the right location at my favourite photo spot - WHOLE WHEAT - where they have a mini Peace Garden photospot set up...
I was not fancily dressed, merely comfortable in my Real Worn Out Jeans - from Addams - and my Madori Open Plaid Shirt - from Blueberry - but comfort was key as my emotions are a little tattered right now...
Although I am now at work I am planning on trying to relax and find myself some inner peace... As much as feelings hurt things will heal and right now I'm just happy to think she's not suffering anymore!

Everyone always seems so keen on shooting the messenger... Over the past few days I've noticed that it always seems really easy for someone to get mad at you when venting their frustrations, even though you may not be the root cause and may in fact be the one trying to help them. It's something I've noticed more and more with the job that I now have in Secondlife - I always feel so bad for the people that I am here to assist, especially as most of them have no knowledge of a virtual reality like Secondlife. Still, I have definitely learnt a little more about how to diffuse a situation and turn those frustrated people into happy campers...
Rudh on the other hand is a cause of trouble LOL... Least she is today... Today she's been caught shooting, someone else moved in on her patch hehe...
Not her MC Patch - no one touches that - but her patch that she works in... All hookers have their patch right?! The place they like to go to scout for business! Rudh's patch of choice is at Dead End City, the perfect place for a hooker to watch the cars drive by... Someone was in her patch this morning... Someone is no longer an issue... The police are an issue! I need to find somewhere to stash my gun!
The dress she chose to wear today is one from Elegance Boutique - I loved it because of the asymmetrical shape and the strapping. It can be dressed up or down due to the fabric textures used and it's a great dress, if you don't mind showing off your knickers! OR you could be daring like Rudh and go pantie free?!

I am sure that I am not the only person in the world that will ever say this but you just cannot help but LOVE your free days. Recently I've been working two jobs and so any time that I get to myself is precious time... It's been lovely just doing things around the house, especially now it seems to be a little cooler than it has been over the past few days, yet I cannot stop myself from feeling a need to talk to you.
So what do I like to do in my free time, well a side from blogging and taking the pictures that goes with it, one of my favourite RL past-times is going for walks with my dog Izzy... She's a Saluki - a breed of dog that is a part of the Greyhound family - and she loves nothing more than a good long run. Today I'm thinking of her and our walks, as I write to you...
I've yet to find anyone in SL that makes dogs like Salukis - they are the same shape as a greyhound but have longer fur that is akin to their Setter cousins - HOWEVER, there is one store that makes amazing animals - one which I don't mind admitting I am slightly addicted to - the store in question is Jian.
I've talked to you about Jian before, but as you can see in my picture today, I'm taking my new Jian Lively Lab Puppy for a walk at the gorgeous Saint Pete City Sim. It's such a pretty location, a true feeling of Autumn and the perfect place for me to walk this little lab!
The outfit that she is wearing is not really a true dog walking outfit I suppose, maybe Rudh just got home from a crazy fun night out and needed to take her little friend out for a wee walk?!

I may be in a little trouble when it comes to my post today, because I am more than a little bit late with it! I was sent the most gorgeous of dresses by a store that I am a part of the blogger team for and I will admit that whilst I was cleaning my hoard it got misplaced... I only just found it, and I am hoping that although the release event is now over this gorgeous dress will have made it back to the mainstore!
It's the perfect dress for this time of year - long, soft and floaty - just what you want when weather gets hot!
I was a bit unsure at first, I'm not normally that keen on the long dresses in SL... I mean I wear them occasionally in RL but in SL I dress Rudh as a Barbie and long floaty never really seems to be something that occurs to me! Maybe I should do it more often?!
The dress in question is one from a collection of different colours and designs by Petite Mort... This Zoe Dress I chose to wear in a gorgeous Cerulean colour, looks so soft and light that I REALLY want one in RL lol...
Now to spend some time wandering around in the garden, and hopefully I can find a shady spot to keep cool in...

It's very hot again in Holland today. Probably not as hot as it can get in other places but very hot all the same. I feel like I am melting and because of the heat I feel very very sleepy, yet there are chores to be done and this sleeping beauty cannot rest.
Instead of running around the house like a headless chicken though, there is only one thing that I really want to do right now, and it looks something a little like this...
In many places when things get warm, people have a siesta. I cannot really sleep properly during the day but the thought of it feels very nice, and I know that just being able to turn your head off and go to sleep is one of the easiest ways to recharge your system. Personally if I sleep during the day then I cannot sleep at night so it doesn't always seem very effective... AND when I sleep I never ever look this glamorous...
Rudh makes sleeping look pretty, wearing a skimpy black negligee from Kaithleen's and the barest of accessories, she looks peaceful, rested and very pretty - if it was the RL me on a bed it would be far less elegant than that LOL...

I don't know if you're like me, and you may have realised this before, but I am a little bit addicted to Gachas and the events that contain them... The Arcade being the worst - or perhaps the best - of them. Each round I always find there is something I HAVE to have, and this current round is no different.
This time one of my all time favourite - and possibly one of the cheesiest cult movies - ever was represented with a collection in a Gacha that made me more than a little excited... People I was talking to were thinking it was a really weird collection, until I mentioned what it was and even then they did not seem all that excited... I on the other hand was in fits, I had to have it all, and once I had it, it was time to play dress-up...
The movie in question is one called "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" - a movie that earnt itself a cult like following due to the crazy antics of the very memorable characters and a cheesy cool soundtrack. Trust me, if you've ever danced the "Time Warp" you know of this movie LOL... Now OK I am on a ramble and I am so excited, all because of The Arcade release from random.Matter. The release is the Frankenstein Place Gacha Collection, and includes awesome pieces such as the special lab levers, the birthing chamber of Rocky and even a rug that will guide you through the Time Warp Dance steps... I was SOOOOO Excited by this release - so thank you to the minds behind random.Matter - and I've not GOT to find a place in my house for a permanent lab layout hehe...
While I decorate though I put myself together a Rudhish outfit in a "Columbia" Style... A dress from sYs at the last round of Collabor88 and a pair of cute ankle boots from lassitude & ennui, along with some of the accessories from the random.Matter set! It was PERFECT!

The Living Dead Queen is here to welcome you into the new year, and as the first outing of my Dead Girl side this year I am really pleased to see the somewhat cheeky look on her dead face!
The hat was a gift, that I will be thinking of as a Christmas present from someone who was interested in becoming a Gator but has since changed his mind... Still he gives good presents and I'm not going to complain. The present in question was the awesome Remarkable Oblivion Dame de Lys hat, and when I teamed it with my new London Ruff from Junbug - that I picked up at the latest round of Uber before I left for my trip - it just seemed far too perfect... Though it was too pretty, and that was where the Living Dead me stepped in hehe...
Though she wanted to let me know a little secret of how the scarring on her face was layered up... This would normally be a closely guarded secret but just this once...
The final product is the picture on the left, the last layer I put on was one from Suicide Girls called Hellish, that added the blood and smears, prior to that I'd used the antielle Kuchisake Onna so that my mouth had been sliced over the top of the layer seen in the right hand picture which is a High School of the Damned Haunted bruising layer!
That's all the dead girl needs, lots of layers hehe...

Recently one of my sisters in the MC, lil Fyre, was talking to me about a store she'd started working for... A fairly new on the SL scene furniture store called NEWCHURCH. It was a store I'd never heard of, but she said she'd been given the task of promoting the store...
Thank you to Victor - NEWCHURCH's owner - for allowing me the honour of being able to blog one of his creations. I have to admit that the furniture style is not really to my taste - it's all fairly realistic looking and I am a freak for the whimsical - BUT it is very well made, the textures are brilliant and I think that NEWCHURCH could be a rising star in the furniture world of SL...
The store isn't huge but all of the pieces are fairly cute, and I can imagine that they would work well in any "realistic" style home... When I checked out the store, I chose a piece that I loved both for the texture and the shape, although it might have been more suited to a tropical beach that my weed filled smoky room! It's like a polar opposite of my look and accessories today, and I love that I can be so bi-polar in one photo hehe...
I accessorised the shot with some of my Monies Smuggling Bears from Bokeh and a few joints from BUENO... Don't touch my joints, I've got a gun and I'm not afraid to use it! The gun comes with my new wig from [taketomi]...

It's not often that I pose with people, and even less often that I pose with this person, but last night had I had a chance to plan a photo shoot with the awesome Manky of Rosemary & Sage Blog Fame...

Now, it's not often that we ever dress alike too... I usually end up looking like there has been an explosion in a junk store and look what I threw together, but thanks to TAG! Gacha and Pixicat, the eyes had to be shared hehe...
We're wearing Pixicat's All Seeing Outfits, which yes are available for TAG! Gacha until October 31st. Our different styles came through when it came to accessorising; the cute bow and heels covering the blood splattered feet were on Manky - normally they may have appeared on me lol - but I kept it kinda subdued with a pair of CandyDoll boots and a simple collar.
Manky then did the decorating... I have to say I felt lucky, I don't have the eye for it quite like Manky - although OK at the moment I have a lot of different eyes LOL...

That feeling of being abandoned can hit us all at random times... You never actually have to lose someone to suffer with that feeling, and something as simple as a change in a relationship can leave you feeling a little lost! Not that it is a total abandonment, but it's still similar feelings.
So OK I have a photo that is a little gloomy, she's been so abandoned that the spiders have taken over, and she's left in a dark and almost horror movie style situation... I don't feel anywhere near as abandoned as this right now, but there is that slight niggling doubt in the back of my mind... A fear that someone is out to do me harm for no apparent reason, and a chance that things will change very soon!
The spiders are the main focus of this photo, and it's purely and simply because of ONE item...
I was checking out the latest round of The Liaison Collaborative, when I saw this amazing necklace called Spider Cascade from Earthstones. I have to admit that I don't tend to shop at Earthstones all that often, some of the pieces are too dainty and kinda too pricey for me so I look but don't touch, yet this one cried out to me that I needed it, and the resulting picture just came together so easily, it was like fate!
Maybe I should feel alone more often if this is the kinda thing my mind creates because of it?!

Time for something a little prettier today... I've been in the dark for too long now, and although I love being that way I don't want people to start thinking that I'm not a happy bunny - the majority of the time anyway - but never fear the darkness that comes with this time of year will be back very soon...
Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year, not only because of Halloween, but also because of the colours and that sense that soon it will be time to snuggle up and hibernate almost...
Yet I found a dress that made me want to give one last nod towards being out and about exploring in something pretty and not too tightly wrapped hehe...

It's my nod towards the start of the Autumn harvest - though I guess that has been going on for a while now anyway - but so many people were hoping for an Indian Summer here in RL, that now we are hitting freezing temperatures a lot of us are not yet prepared for it. Still least in SL you can still skip around in a summer dress without getting cold right?!
The location I randomly discovered, with a really Autumnal feel - although yes the majority of the trees are still green for now - is the landscape that surrounds Apple Fall. I was there shopping and this amazing field caught my eye, I KNEW it would be a great photo backdrop!
Yet it was the dress that inspired this look more than anything, I fell in love with the dress style when I saw it on Flickr a few weeks ago, and HAD to try it... When I tried it on, it was love and I just had the hard task of choosing the colour... There are 4 different colour combinations of this dress - available from Paperdoll's - and each combination comes in a collection of different combinations - the plain, the checked and the mix'n'match!
I wore it with the adorable Darkness Hat Hair from Magika - the HUD of which will be able to colour the new subscribo group gift by the way - and then kept the rest of my accessories to this simple but very pretty Devil Trap Necklace from [geek.].

Autumn is finally here, my FAVOURITE season of them all... I love the Spring too, but it is the Autumn that always gets me excited. Perhaps it is because of the Halloween Holiday? Perhaps it is the changing of the colours from vibrant greens to reds and oranges and yellows? Perhaps it's something more morbid? You know me, my twisted brain may well be getting a sub-concious kick out of the fact that the trees are "dying" and going into their long Winter sleep! I do have to admit I love that feeling of being able to snuggle up warm and cosy... I really do love that feeling...
Though from years gone by, one of my favourite memories of this time of year was the time I went collecting conkers - although you could call them horse chestnuts - with my grandad. One of the very few memories that I do have of him actually - he used to love helping me get my conkers ready for the battles I faced at school...
So you could say that this post is in honour of him, even though the photograph is a little deranged and that has NOTHING to do with my Grandad! Let's blame the conkers for that!
While I was out for an Autumnal walk in the woods at the Hippie Park on Saturday, something strange happened! I was accosted by a group of Fae, and attacked!
They cut my face, scarring my eye in the process, and tied a rope around my neck - a rope that you can get from Remarkable Oblivion by the way, they are Fae with good taste hehe...
After that I was tortured just a little more, a LobAutumny Needle was pushed into that bad eye, causing a little drool to escape my lips. The only sign that it had anything to do with the Fae being the Autumn leaves around the handle of the spiked tool... You too can get yourself the drool and the Needles from the katat0nik gacha at the new round of The Seasons Story!
After all that, and the fact that I still survived, the Fae took me as their leader, adorning my awesome new Exile Hair - available now at Collabor88 - with this beautiful LODE Chestnut Crown - available at Chapter Four.

So this trilogy of photos that are being created by Solde, Lil and I to see how perspectives differ is definitely on a roll at the moment, and for our third installment we chose to do something simple together. A Girls Day Out at the beach, while the boys were too busy playing in their DoodieMan - a long story that may be explained later but for now don't ask LOL - Cave.
The three of us went for a little wild ride at the beach in this awesome - but non-moving, pose prop only - from Image Essentials. The Cruisin Pose Prop is suitable for 3 avatars, and so it was perfect for the girls and I, it's a fun jeep that simply screamed about the days on the beach...
I wore a super cute bikini from Bowtique and pulled my hair up in a messy ponytail from Exile - at Collabor88 now, though I was lucky I did that as Solde drives like a crazy person on the beach hehe...

I love taking photos, it's definitely one of my favourite past times and there is no better way for me to relax than by working out a look I want for a photo then seeing it come to life in "print"... SL photography for me is becoming way more than a past time, it's becoming more of an obsession... I take pictures of what I love and hopefully share that love with you, and I get to experiment with things that I never would have even looked at before...
One of the things that I have started doing is looking more at prizes from hunts... I used to LOVE being a hunter, I did every hunt that I could to grab as many freebie or cheapie awesome goodies as I could, but I grew tired of it, and only recently re-discovered a love of hunting...
The one that is inspiring me at the moment is The Photographers Hunt. I mentioned it before, but I cant help playing with a few more of the awesome prizes, and can promise you that this will no doubt be my last either!

This time I was working on the post photo shoot phase of photography, I wanted to share with you the editing process hehe, and yes OK editing SL pictures is not done like this often BUT this Home Laboratory is the perfect prop for any photograph making genius. Don't miss this at 22769, it's a HUNT PRIZE!! One thing I should mention though is that it is not scripted with poses, but there are so many available on the hunt, like this one from [Black Tulip] that you won't need to worry about that too much!
There is just one more hunt prize here that needs an honourable mention, and that is the Press Hat from Duh! It's a great unisex item, that I pulled on over some curly Magika hair, but it would look awesome on the guys too!
As you can tell, I'd been acting like an undercover paparazzi at a very swanky affair, and I didn't even have time to change out of my glitzy outfit! The dress, on the subject of glitz, is from the store epoch but its name is Glitz hehe... I'd dressed it up a little with a pair of thigh high Regency boots from BAX and some of the most gorgeous Earthstones Laraine Diamond Jewellery, which was a part of my bridesmaids uniform for Solde's wedding recently...
I wowed the crowd at the party but 'hmmm' I wonder if I can wow the people more with my photos hehe...

My soul might be crazy sometimes, but there is also a little more darkness in me than should come to the surface... I LOVE when it does come out because I actually find myself being a lot more creative, and the melancholy photos tend to be some of my favourites... This is one that I really like, and it will be interesting to see how well this rates on Flickr... Sometimes the pictures that we love seem to be less liked than others that we think are not so good...
This time the darkness in me is coming out, it's not totally visible yet, but watch it, it's there...
I found the perfect location for this photo in the sim that is Sarawak, and inside these amazing ruins, the deranged dragon rider in me prepared herself for an early morning flight.
The uniform of her people is a simple leather outfit that provides maximum movement whilst remaining aerodynamic. The Majesty Harness - her top from Poisoned Diamond - marks her status as a dragon rider, something which can also be seen by her honour of wearing the Twisted SongBird Ouroboros.
This Dragon Rider is ready to go, she awaits her mount, and the look in her Mono Chroma eyes lures the beast in... Wanna go for a ride?

I didn't get enough sleep last night, yet I cannot sleep anymore this morning... I feel like I am on a different planet, where yesterday was a blur of a wedding and a fight, and now in the early morning light of the next day I am sitting here pensive, drinking coffee and feeling shell shocked.
Still the wedding was beautiful! Solde and Kris shone, and I managed to scrub up pretty well too!! Yet this morning in my sleep deprived haze I feel as if I am still in a dream...
A dream in million sparkling colours... Did I drink something last night!?! I don't think I did hehe... Maybe that's what I get for going to a Hippie Park hehe... Too much weed smoke in the air or something?!
The Tin Dress from EMPORIUM comes with a hud that includes this amazing dress pattern that is so pretty it almost seems to shimmer in this sunlit location to reflect the colours of the flowers that surround me. Then when I combined it with the MINT hair, which I had won at a past Gacha Event - I cannot remember which - it just seemed to scream fantasy princess!
I have to admit though that I cannot find the store and there was no landmark included with the hair, BUT it is one that has been created by Ivy Graves of Atomic, so perhaps look there?!
The haze around my brain is slowly fading... I guess it's time to stop moping and go out into the world, but it's nearly 4pm on Sunday... Where the hell did the day go?
