Space has never been something that I have been interested in... I mean I LOVE looking at the moon and stars, but I have a bit of a phobia regarding Aliens so I tend to avoid anything space related! Though the death of a much loved Actor, one that I grew up seeing on the television in the background as my mother was a fan, Mr Leonard Nemoy - aka and possibly better known as Spock - in these past few weeks made me think of how sad I will be when other much loved musicians or TV personalities will go... It sounds strange to think of it like that, but when it comes down to it the death of anyone is a sad thing, I never knew these people personally but they became a part of my life in that I grew to enjoy hearing their songs on the radio or seeing their faces on the TV. I still remember how I felt when Kurt Cobain died - as I'm sure many people do - or Robin Williams, for example, but last night I was watching a repeat of a Blue Planet TV Show, one of David Attenborough's programmes and I felt melancholy - for me losing him will be like losing an institution!!!
So this one goes out to you Spock, and to all the mourning Trekkies out there too!!
I wanted to create something a little Sci-Fi, without the aliens of course! So it was kinda lucky - almost serendipitous - that the SL Sci-Fi Convention was taking place at the moment that I went location scouting for a photo... I found this amazing booth, by Starbuckk Seraphis of Starland Development Group, at the Convention and knew that I had to use it as my Spock inspired space setting. I just hope they don't mind I was climbing all over their booth!
The outfit I chose was something simple-ish - by Rudh standards - and sexy, something that would have been a good second choice for the ladies on board the Starship Enterprise perhaps?!
The dress itself comes from SAKIDE and was a release at a past Sci-Fi themed event! Called Leyana, these dresses come with a HUD to customise the band colours and are subtly textured with a very Sci-Fi feeling pattern. I dressed it up with a pair of over the knee Marilyn Boots from Reign - that you can grab yourself at No.21 - then the rest was merely set dressing. For some reason I decided that I wanted to wear the [Aux] Devilish Headband that I'd had collecting dust in my hoard for a while, a simple See No Evil Eye-Patch from Half-Deer and then a pretty but somewhat classy looking collar from Lost Junction as decoration... Lastly I had to wear the [geek.] Prosper Necklace - a group freebie - in a dedication to Spock...

Today is the last day of this month's round of The Witching Hour and yet I still have SO MUCH MORE to share with you... Dammit lol... Rudh work faster woman!!! A prime example of this would be her creations - for the store Stargazer Creations - that you can win yourself at this month's round of The Witching Hour... The Witch Love Sets are available as different pieces of a collection, with 4 complete colour outfits to choose from. Me being me, I decided to mix-n-match, so I am wearing a Cauldron coloured Harness and a Spell coloured Dress! She made pink two, two slightly different shades in fact, but 'NER NER AGGIE' you want me in pink gotta limit the other colours too LOL...
I will admit that I then went to town on accessorising, and for some reason I ended up with butterflies?! How in the heck that happened I don't know but I would advise not trying to get into my head to find out! I had LOTS of butterflies LOL... Lots and lots of them... From the light up hair accessory Bluebells Butterfly - of Ladies Who Lunch - to the Le Poppycock Befuddling Butterflies, and the Adoness Butterflies that kissed the skin on my arm, I think it might have been less for coming to see me and more for the fact that I had neon wings?! I mean Moths are attracted to Neon would butterflies be the same? For the record, I was like a moth to a flame when I saw these Neon Wings from 7mad;Ravens at a past wound of The Arcade - I think - I just wonder why it has taken me so long to dig them out hehe...
So you see, witches aren't all bad... They like butterflies too... What I didn't tell you is that this little witch is getting into the zone, ready to pounce... They like butterflies because they taste nice hehe...

I have a little more witchy goodness for you now, not that it's remotely witchy, but it is definitely available from the Witching Hour today and until the 19th! I will admit that this one looks a little more horrorific than the last, and definitely more so than the next which I may share with you LOL... I just couldn't help myself, I found the teeth at a totally different event, and then when I saw the eye I was like 'HECK YEAH Rudh got her deadly back'... After the weekend I had I am in need of looking scary, but more about that later!!
Horrorifying isn't it, and it's coming for you!!! This mystical beast is a rare three eye soul eater of sorts... Basically it moves into your human skin and eats your soul turning you into this crazed looking monster.
OK technically that's a load of rubbish LOL, but again the weekend I've just had you might be willing to forgive me some of that insanity! Still you get to hear all about that soon, and for now you can sit back and relax as I tell you all where you get get your grubby mits on the things that make up this horrorific look!
The teeth were the first thing that I put on to play around in, and I will admit that I was a little distracted by them, so much so that I kinda forgot I was meant to be working on The Witching Hour items for a little bit as I danced around in the swamp!! The teeth are a [ni.ju] release that you can find over at the awesome Creepy Kawaii Fair. I was in love with this event, and bought a LOT, it summed up both halves of my brain in one easy move - creepy and cute - I was in heaven!
I then caught sight of the bag of Witching Hour Goodies I had laid out to wear and decided to just add them to my toothy look!
The Third Eye of Nature is a creation by Lillith's Den for this month's Gacha event. Available in a myriad of colours and designs, this large third eye, with its slightly glowing green veins is the perfect thing to wear with my huge teeth. Now I HATE to sound like I am being rude, but I do have one small issue with this item and that is the skin tone behind the eye... This isn't a complaint and it's not to sound rude - please don't take it as such - but I would LOVE to see the skin in varying shades. The bulbous sore look is awesome, but I'd love to have it in a paler tone - more akin to my skin - so that I could wear this more often, if not on a daily basis... PLEASE make them with paler skin pretty please?!
I had to put something a little cute on with this look... I didn't want to scare anyone after all... So I added an adorable pair for Rare Bunny Earmuffs from BLD - aren't they cute! Then as a final finishing touch, just a little bit of glamour in the form of this ULTRA RARE Psychopomp - such a cool word - necklace from [TfAtN] in the Night Hart Design...
You just have to love the way that random items come together sometimes LOL... This is rather scary, even for me, and I MADE IT LOL!!!

There is a brand new event hitting the SL shopping scene starting this week! The Color Me Project - and yes it will be hard to spell Colour in the American way for me EVERY Time I have to try - is brand new and already seems like a LOT of fun.
For me it kinda harks back to the days when I used to chomp at the bit to create a look for the 52 Weeks of Colour Challenge... It was that, that got me addicted to blogging, and thinking about it, it's hard to realise that it was so long ago!
The opening colour - or should that be color - for this week is Red... Varying shades, and styles, but EVERYTHING is red! I guess you could say that it is perfect for the season lol... BAH HUMBUG to Valentines Day!
Now this post is a MONSTER, I went a little crazy Rudh Style and tried to get as much shown as humanly possible. I actually really loved working on it, so who knows every event round I might do this again... BUT please bear with me and enjoy the Red looks that I've created!
The main photo I wanted to create had to have a range of the different looks available, worn Rudh style! But I also had some brilliant poses that were non- Color Me Project that seemed perfect for the job. So let's have a look at those first. The HUGE "Love U" Posing Heart - from Image Essentials, and yours if you head over to get it at the With Love Fair! is a little obscured by the Angels, but used alone it would make the PERFECT pose for saying love you to someone this Valentines!
Likewise for the Angel on her knees down in front, this is a perfect pose to show someone I LOVE YOU on Valentines - only this one is from Signature Pose at Pose Me Amazing this month!
The rest of the poses used in this photo and the coming "look" photos are all available from the new Color Me Project Event, they are Icons of Style... Perfect for use in Valentines and everyday photos!
Angel one, we shall refer to her as the Balloon Angel I think, is dressed all sweet and innocently in the outfit from Mag<3.B. The outfit includes dresses with and without hearts - still on the whole BAH HUMBUG for Valentines thing and sick of hearts so you got to see the dress without them hehe - as well as the adorable socks, and the balloon you see Balloon Angel pose with in the group photo! To finish off the look, because I LOVE to accessorise, I chose some amazingly cute, but basic heels from Milk Tea and a Divinity Puzzle Heart Necklace bearing the initials of my man and me... One look down, Four more to go hehe...
Angel two is much more of the biker chick style that I seem to be surrounded by! Her dress is one from Immerschoen, that is available in 4 different styles, and match perfectly with the boots, which are also a new release from the store for Color Me Project!! I wanted to keep this look fairly simple, and I felt happy to have done that with the cute Librarian Chic Style from Exile and the adorable Persefona Poland Flower Hair Wreath!
Moving swiftly through the list, the third Angel is a bit more of a naughty one! She wears a bodysuit made of ribbons, and accessorises them with a giant one in her hair as well as a ring and collar version from Persefona. The outfit is adorable, something I will definitely wear again, Jinx created this cute number and includes with it not just the body suit but a bow for your back, a hair bow and these killer bright red heels!
Nearly there, almost done... Angel Four is back to the cutesy style, but she has a killer edge to her look in the form of these amazing heels from Sofie's Selection. They come in a variety of different colours... I personally love the silver and black pair but you could find any of these to your liking. I teamed them with socks from Lushish Catz - that you can get with black or red hearts - that I feel make the cute bright hearts pop to match the bright red colour of the Stormcrow Design's dress... I added just a touch of glamour to this look by wearing a tiara from Xen's Hats, which come in red or silver metals!
Lastly but by no means least, Angel number 5 is the naughty Angel. Wearing nothing by some sexy lingerie from Me Sew Sexy called Kiss Me! - which is the set that also includes the wings worn by all of my Angels - and a big fluffy warm Red Fur Coat - taken from skinned care bears so I'm told lol - from StormCrow Design's. She being a little naughty only wanted a pearl collar from Persefona and a pair of rose covered Jinx heels to finish her look!
