Fresh Spun Cotton Candy

 SPIDERS!!! Some people love them and others REALLY do not, but like them or hate them they are synonymous with Halloween - having Halloween scares without spiders is like having Nuggets without sauce. I don't love them myself, and the bigger they are the more they they freak me out, but I'm not totally anti them! 
So whilst on my daily rounds at the maze today, I dropped in to spend some time with one of HellBone's beloved little pets... 

His adorable little spider pet is waiting in the corridors of the maze, and she loves to make new friends. I will warn you now, she's a little friendly, but she makes the best Cotton Candy - all fluffy and soft from UNICORN STORE - and her children love it as much as I do, crawling all over me wanting a little taste for themselves... 
When Rudh is checking in on her Spiderlicious friend, she will often dress herself so that the littles don't get too scared... Cobwebs make up her gorgeous Arachne Dress - from Oubliette at Trick or Treat Lane - her make-up is drawn on to look spider like - by Slack Girl - and even her eyes adjust in the dark to show the spiders within - thanks to the A.D.D.Andel Spider Eyes. To make these things a little clearer though, I wanted to add a collage of the eyes and make-up, both are gorgeous and so worth checking out in a bigger scale than how they show in my photo...

The Widow in Mourning

Mourning those that are gone is something that seems to be one of the hardest things to deal with in life... Losing someone that we're close to is a difficult way to have to get through a day, but when we face it we're stronger and have the power to move forward, no matter how much it hurts... 
Today I'm feeling a little melancholy, I miss my family and so I'm going to wander through the graveyard, and talk to the souls left behind... 

She's mourning the loss of loved ones, and stopping to read the inscription on the grave marker that says "Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us everyday" and unknown to her while she's masked in sadness, her family are reaching out, trying to take her hand... 
Looking at the picture I'm picking up a few little Maria Brink vibes - Maria Brink is the lead singer of In This Moment - who seems to dress like this when we've seen her in concert... So for today I'm going to share with you a little In This Moment, so we can all have a good sing-along!

Goddess of the Catacombs

The halls of the dark maze hold many hidden secrets... There's dangers down there in the corridors of the darkness. Taking a wrong turn could lead you into the lair of a very ancient goddess... Another in the family of beautiful goddesses we've met... Yet this one screams of Death, she's Death's sister! A dark mistress, a collector of skulls... 

The catacombs at the Gators MC are dark and dingy places... The water smells like death, and it moves slimily along the creek... Her dress decorated with the skulls she's collected from the catacombs... A dress made by Curemore and styled to look like Bathory's Gown is one of my new favourite wardrobe pieces...

 THERE'S SOMETHING STRANGE, IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD... WHO YA GONNA CALL? RUDHMELLOWEN....
YAY I LOVE this time of year for dress up, and watching scary movies!!! Though one of my favourite spooky movies isn't really that scary... I'm talking about the classic that is GHOSTBUSTERS!!!
While I was walking through checking the rooms of the Gators Maze, something amazing happened... SLIMER WAS THERE!!!

I had a fangirl moment and got all excited, and then I got VERY hungry because the little bugger was eating a cheese burger and not sharing.... My little Slimer is actually a new release from SEmotion Libellune at Anthem in a gacha... Once I had slimer, that was it... I needed a Ghostbuster Uniform, and some of the tools of the trade... I was going Ghostbustin' because "Bustin' makes me feel good"

The Mummy Awakens...

Well it's finally here, the Gators MC Halloween Maze has opened and this year it's our 8th... It's bigger and better and crazier than ever, but I'm biased and have no idea what everyone else will think! I'd love to know what people think if they do make it! I decided to give a little teaser with today's outfit... 

Just a little teaser about the things that work in the dark at the Gator Maze! We have all kinds of bumps and scares, oogie boogies and dark spookies... Vampire, Werewolves and Mummies can be found hiding in the dark... You never know what you will find... 
Rudh got all Mummified for the opening of the maze... An outfit from The Kitty Corner that asks you to Unravel Me - it's available in a gacha collection at Gacha Guild's Hallows Horror Carnivale but there's more information coming about that later - and some Nekhbet Mummy Arms from PSYCHO.Byts - that are available at Salem now - to bring some ancient Egyptian curse to life...

Candies cause visits from The Tooth Fairy

Last night was the grand opening of this year's Gators MC Halloween Maze and as with every year I always end up coming up with some weird and wonderful costumes... It's my favourite time of the year for a reason, and it's not like I need a reason to play dress up... 
So this year I kinda dressed in the theme for the opening and to match my room but without giving too much away... 

Yes it's a Candy Forest and I'm a tooth fairy... I don't want the bad rotten teeth that have fallen out, I want the teeth that are still in your jaw... I'm taking those out... No Novocaine is needed!!! My pliers will do the work for me!
My costume is from Decoy at the new pop-up round of The Arcade... It's Bloody Wisdom and a gacha collection, I wore it with some wings from DRD!

Hell's Asylum Nursing Staff

I got so excited about it being October and that is partly because after MONTHS and MONTHS of work, the Gators MC Halloween Event is finally open... 
Hear the doors creak open at Hell's Asylum and the nightmares of the former inhabitants can still be found tormenting the spirits that live there... It's a dark and twisted place, home to one remaining young child. Question is should this child be freed or has the psychotic place infected their mind?

Moths love the Silence

Although I am loving being away on holiday, there is one thing that I am finding a little bit tougher than I ever expect and that is being away from SL and everyone in it for so long. The addiction is never ending it seems, and for me personally, a week away sounds easier than it actually is! It feels like I've been temporarily silenced and for someone that can, and frequently does, talk a lot that's kinda like a nightmare! Don't get me wrong, I've had a great break and am more than a little sad I will be leaving the UK to head home tomorrow but I do feel now that I miss it a little more than I imagined. It's not the first time I've felt like this, and I'm sure it won't be the last, but hey it means I won't be disappearing anytime soon! Right?!

So for today and tomorrow enjoy the sounds of silence...

I've been silenced by the spirits in the picture that I chose to share with you today. Those moths of death having control over the Ouija board and apparently my mouth too lol...

While I was playing around in the Gator Maze, I took a picture as the Silence of the Lambs over took me, and Death's Head - a Katat0nik creation - landed on my face. Normally a moth this close to my face may prompt me to scream, but that would have meant that I'd have swallowed the moth - never a good idea LOL!

I accessorized the mouth moth with some more mothy things, including this awesome Oracle Moth Top in white from Petite Mort at the Mad Circus, and the random.Matter Drac Choker.

Who is watching me?!

It's Maze Clear Up Day at the Gators today, and although I've loved having the maze on the sim, and seeing so many people come to visit I am still glad to see things being packed up until next year. Hell is already planning things for next year, but right now I do not even want to think about another Gator Maze LOL... Sure it's always fun, and definitely awesome to have somewhere Halloweeny on-site that I can use as a photo location, but thank goodness it's going for now hehe... 
Though whilst I was doing a final walk through, there was something very strange in one of the Nightmare Rooms... 

It really felt like I was being watched! It wasn't till after I was done taking this photo that I realised I WAS being watched... Those Remarkable Oblivion Dolls get everywhere!
All I wanted to do was show off my new sweater from erratic, the Ava Sweater has been released for Uber, and although the front looks plain the back and sleeves more than make up for that. 
Though the whole reason for this photo actually hangs around my neck... The lower necklace is one that I had to have from (Yummy) at last month's Collabor88, but the tight choker at the top is a brand new release from The Horror - which is still available until November 8th for Hocus Pocus - as is the Cameo Collection Skull Necklace that was released by Lost Junction and can be won from the machines at The Gacha Garden... 
I think I better move now though, that overwhelming feeling of being watched is creeping me out a little hehe...

Gator smells and Goodies Galore!

As you may well know, the Gators MC Halloween Maze is open... We´re very excited to have been included in the Destination Guide with it too... Can you believe it? Our little MCs Event in the guide?!
While we are on the topic of the Maze I wanted to take a little bit of time out to share with you a couple of the awesome goodies that you can find inside... We have some amazing treats including bloody nails from KOSH, and a Soda Gas Tank from Consignment, but right now I am going to show you some of the wearable items that you can grab for yourself... OH and give you a hint about one of the locations in the maze too hehe...

This room was designed and created by Kris, Hell was not to blame for this one though many wouldn't believe me... Kris is one of the DoodieMen, along with Hell and Mongo, so now you know that you may believe me that this wasn't Hell's room LOL...
One of the hunt prizes is totally perfect for this nightmare scenario though. There is a pumpkin, which has been hidden by Naenia Demina of ImmateriA, that contains this amazing Gas Mask. Something which will no doubt be worn by a lot of the girls in the MC when the boys are around, even though the mask is unisex and could be worn by anyone, it seems to be us that have the most issues dealing with the smells hehe...
Another prize in the maze, is this cute jacket and shirt combo from The Untitled. This set comes in male and female sizes, and it's a nod to the Halloween season... Perhaps if you're feeling lazy you can tell people you're a black pumpkin with a candle inside or something?!
