Piggies Practicing Magic

 Friday and a day off, a day of rest and peace... Aside from doing some chores, I'm taking some time to relax and read something interesting. Time to play with my pets and read a good book... 
Little Rudh has agreed for a change and so she has decided to curl up on the floor of the sun room and channel some of the magic that she's hiding within to practice her magic... 

Her journal and tarot cards laid at the ready, with her books at hand in case she has a question or she needs to check something out. Assuming the position, and taking a crystal in each hand, she started to think the positive thoughts needed to make the magic work, and it didn't take too long for the magic within to show through her fingertips... 
Suddenly through the door, straight in from the farm, came three of the cutest little piglets - from Foxwood... Charging around the room and making themselves at home right in the middle of where she was casting her magic. So much for peace an quiet, her book bag - an amazing Witches Starter Kit from Zombie Suicide at The Epiphany - emptied all over the floor scattering the remants across the rug, luckily it made her laugh and it was good magic she'd been casting or there might have been a problem!

Dreaming of Slaying Alarm Clocks!

Waking up this morning, realising it´s Friday and that I have to work after two lovely days off is just BLEH! I know I shouldn't complain I mean I just had two lovely days off LOL, but I'm British, it's what we do... 
In my sleep filled haze, I flopped back on my bed and refused to pay any attention to the alarm clock screaming at me - until HellBone told me off - and I realised that it wasn't very attractive or glamorous... Rudh would have done it better, Rudh would have been more able to pull of the graceful Disney Princess flop back onto a bed... 

See... and she does it in a ballgown!! Not just any gown, a gown fit for a princess, made by the designers of the Apple May Designs brand - an Ivanka Gown in a gorgeous Royal Blue! 
I'm not sure what time of day it is for the sleepy princess Rudh, but there is a heck of a lot of dust in her room... The candles are causing the dust particles to glitter, giving her more of that Disney Princess effect LOL... She's even lucky in her choice of candle lighting tools! I mean the little Fairie Dragons are just Hextraordinary - hehe see what I did there!!! 
To finish though, I have to say, I don't need to look like this, I don't need to be a Disney Princess BUT I'd love to just be able to go back to bed LOL... Who needs work?!

Practising in my hoop

SATURDAY! SATURDAY! SATURDAY!!!! Finally Saturday is here and the weekend... Now days I work on weekends too but not until later in the day so right now on Saturday morning I am going to let my hair down and relax... Shopping, photography and me time - that's definitely something that has become a thing but hey a girl needs her own time... Sometimes... 
Today I am taking some me time to practice my acrobatics hehe... The hoop will be conqured today, perhaps... 

Though judging by this snapshot I have a lot more practice to do... Falling hurts, and maybe the candles below me were not my smartest idea, but then it was too late by the time I got to this point... 
My Lewd Hoop seems very strong - strong enough to hold my heavy butt - go test them for yourself at Suicide Dollz. 
My practice outfit possibly wasn't my best choice either, I mean it's barely there silk - a new pair of shorts from Tee*fy which seemed to look great with the Honey Lingerie from SAKIDE. 
If I don't see you for a few days, please know that it is just concussion and I will be back soon... LOL...

We've got our Eyes on You!

It's not often that I pose with people, and even less often that I pose with this person, but last night had I had a chance to plan a photo shoot with the awesome Manky of Rosemary & Sage Blog Fame... 
The Rosemary & Sage blog is a newish blog on the blogger circuit, but it's great! Filled with amazing pictures of gorgeous looks for men and women - as well as looks that could work for both sexes too! It's definitely one that I would suggest you check out!!! Do it, Do It NOW!!!

Now, it's not often that we ever dress alike too... I usually end up looking like there has been an explosion in a junk store and look what I threw together, but thanks to TAG! Gacha and Pixicat, the eyes had to be shared hehe... 
We're wearing Pixicat's All Seeing Outfits, which yes are available for TAG! Gacha until October 31st. Our different styles came through when it came to accessorising; the cute bow and heels covering the blood splattered feet were on Manky - normally they may have appeared on me lol - but I kept it kinda subdued with a pair of CandyDoll boots and a simple collar. 
Manky then did the decorating... I have to say I felt lucky, I don't have the eye for it quite like Manky - although OK at the moment I have a lot of different eyes LOL...

Standing in the Doorway

It seems that the Summer is almost over and Autumn is rolling in fast. I LOVE Autumn, love love love it... I cannot get enough of the chilly days, the colours of nature and the fact that it's a chance to start snuggling up to stay warm! Though I cannot help myself trying to catch the last few rays of the season... 

The door is an AMAZING pose prop that was available at The Gacha Garden - YES I KNOW it was a long time ago now, but I'm sorry I had to share the pose with you and you can still get your hands on it at the Exposeur mainstore! These doors come in about 5 different colour combinations, AND there are differing styles of doors too... I got lucky and got the one I wanted first try but there are so many gorgeous combinations!! Although I will let you know now, I put the candles there myself, the candles do not come with the prop! 
I had no idea what I was going to wear with this prop though... I was in the dark... Until I went to the Fantasy Gacha Carnival - Yes I know that has closed too! - and found the booth of Moon Amore, which is fast becoming an addiction store of mine by the way hehe... The gacha was stuffed full of these amazing Lashkmi outfit parts, and OH MY GOSH I got a rare full set on the second try! I finished the look with a pair of HOLLYHOOD Romano Sandals and a crown from Kibitz and the look was PERFECT! 
Just perfect to catch those last rays of summer sunshine!

A Mixed Up Romp with something Pink!

I've been such a good girl lately... Í've been blogging like crazy working on getting things covered, ensuring that bloggers were doing their jobs - for those of you that manage multiple events with lots of bloggers I am bowing to your greatness hehe - AND dealing with MC drama which caused the biggest headache you can imagine...
Sometimes it makes me feel a bit like I'm hearding chickens LOL... I run around organising, and having so very little Rudh time... Well I've just finished blogging Horror Haute for this month, and NOW IT'S ME TIME!!!

So what do I do when I get a little me time, I take pictures usually but in this case I did something a little more risque than I had imagined I would... I had a ROMP something fun and pink... I blame the pink, pink is the colour of evil. I MIXed it up a little and wore my new heels too... Boy was that alone time fun hehe...
I dressed appropriately - a little pink lingerie and a pair of the gorgeous new lassitude & ennui shoes with their delicate floral pattern - and lit a few candles before opening the box I'd gotten from the ROMP event.. The reason for the oppulence was packaged inside, and I felt like a kid at Christmas... Time for being a good girl was over, if I'm staying with the idea of Christmas, I'd be one of the girls on the Naughty list that Santa would want to visit hehe...
The toys I unpackaged were a special release from The Horror! As soon as I saw them I KNEW I'd be taking some home with me hehe... A perfect collection of everything a girl - or guy - could possibly need, with perhaps the only thing missing being a flogger. These toys come in two colours - the pink or a more manly black set - and they can be rezzed as a complete set or unlinked and "used" individually hehe...
These are going to be a permanent fixture in my little house hehe... After all, I never know when I will get a moments peace LOL...

Kiss Me You Fool!

There is someone who is a MASSIVE part of my SL and my RL, but that plays a fairly low key part in the day to day ramblings of my blog... I talk a lot about my friends and family members, be that MC and non-MC family, as well as the things that inhabit the dark and crazy corners of my mind... Yet this person, although occasionally mentioned, rarely gets to take centre stage...
Today it's his turn - alongside my own dolly - to literally step into the candlelit spotlight and play a pivotal role in one of my rambling posts...

I am talking about HellBone! My long-suffering, grumpy, teddybear of a husband...
We put each other through a lot... In SL he uses me as his personal assistant - I'm his secretary for the MC, his manager for the store and the prop he uses when he needs a female body shape while building, whereas he has a massive tendency to complain as I ask him to sit on a pose ball and let me use him as a photography prop. We tease, we torture and in some cases we end up wanting to kill each other, but in RL behind closed doors - and when he's in a good mood - he's the best and snuggliest teddybear I could have ever hoped for...
So when I saw the recently released couple poses from Signature Pose, one called Safe and the other called Kiss me you Fool... I couldn't help myself wanting to use him as my photography prop at least once...

Asking the Spirits for Inspiration...

Today is the last day of The Witching Hour, and what a month for the event it has been...
I have to take a moment to step into the role of Blogger Manager here and share with you how proud I am of what the Blogging Team has become. Everyone works their butts off to bring some amazing looks, and everything within the event gets covered! If you have time, you should check out their photos - most of them can be found in The Witching Hour Flickr Pool - and enjoy the way that other people make the items work to fit their styles!
That would be one of the things I love about The Witching Hour. I am fully able to admit that not all of the items are things that I would normally play with, but for me one of the challenges is trying to make things work into the ideas I have in my head for photographs hehe... Keeps things fresh...
Sometimes it helps for me to commune with the spirits over what I want to do with certain items, but even that in itself can make for a very good photo!

While communing with the spirits about how to include the pretty Arched Shelf - this one decorated with roses and thorns - from DressME Designs, the picture just seemed to happen without me even trying. Helpful those spirits aren't they? These shelves are a available in a set of different designs, but come without the skull candle... That was my addition for the purposes of the sceance, which thankfully I was able to conduct without any problems hehe...
Maybe though it was because of the things that I chose to wear, maybe the ouiji board accessories helped keep the spirits giggling rather than making them angry... I wore an ALTAIR* Ouija Necklace in white, as well as a pair of matching shoes from Aftershok - that you can win yourself at this month's round of The Witching Hour!
These things looked SO CUTE with the brand new dresses that have come from dimma for the World Goth Fair - I still plan on talking a bit about that later hehe - but there are 5 different designs to choose from, I just loved the simplicity of the moons!
I leave you with one last, close-up look at the awesome shoes I chose to wear, and whisper to you that the spirits tell me there is still magic in the air... Something a little like old-school magic this way comes?!
