Here come the Clowns...

I have said before that there are various things I require every Halloween for it to feel like a good Halloween... One of those was spiders, another of those happens to be clowns... I know that some people HATE clows, and I am of the opinion that so long as they aren't the type to lurk on street corners and threaten to kill me I can just ignore them... For me though, the Halloween spookies wouldn't be the same without a trip to see the clowns... 

At the circus of Forgotten Laughs - which happens to be a backdrop by The Bearded Guy - where the clowns are somewhat familiar - mostly because they are some of my favourite toys in my inventory to play with every year - but more than a little creepy looking, they have a new female face this year... 
She's one of the Insane Harlequinn types, dressed in the Natalie - a gorgeous combination outfit that comes from AsteroidBox but sold separately, the top and jacket at Equal10 and the pants at Collabor88 - leather set that is both comfortable and easy clean when she assists the other clowns in their murder spree...

Showtime for the Clowns

I had a day off today, and it was MUCHLY needed because I've been working all weekend. I am tired and sore and grumpy, and the weather is taking a VERY hot turn this week I AM NOT AMUSED... We don't have long until it reaches the brrr months, so why is it getting so hot... Stupid weather... 
I NEEDED something to distract me, I've been clowning around at work dealing with clowns and so today I want to do something totally different... 
Instead I ended up getting more than a little excited about Halloween, and well... Clowning around... 

Feeling like being a cute little clown because who doesn't love being a clown around Halloween... I don't really like clowns but I don't think I'll ever get through a Halloween season without dressing as one for sure... 
I set up a little tester to see how things would go when I put on a little crazy show... I set up the Hypno Wheels - from Krescendo for FETISH FAIR - and then the camera on a stand, I was a dancing little clown trying to see if I could hypnotize people into giving me all of their candies... I knew my clown outfit was a little sexier than planned but I cobbled it together without much planning... It was amazing that things matched so well... Almost like the Avril Arm and Leg Warmers - sold separately from PSYCHO.Byts - were made to wear with the striped colour pattern of the Ways Bra and Shorts set - from AsteroidBox, available at August 12th at ACCESS - and I LOVE THE WAY THEY LOOK... I think I'll be dressing like this for a while longer, Halloween is coming, and I deserve to be aowed to start prepping for it..

A Darker Side to the Easter Bunny

I've been off work sick for the past two days... It seems like there is a dreaded lurgy going around, as everyone in my work team has been hit, just in time for the high season in a striking resemblence to the events of 5 years ago when COVID initially happened... Tomorrow I am planning to try and go back, we NEED people even though I'm still not really well enough... Today I'm having to try and do things as normal, so that means it's time to try and work on a little something for my blog... I'm not in the best mood, so something dark it is... 
Have you ever wondered where Easter Eggs come from?! 

Today we're on a pathway to find out, and I'll warn you now, it's not all chocolate, cute animals and pastel colours... There's a darker side of Easter, there's a monstrous establishment where the chickens are forced to lay the brightly coloured eggs that decorate tables and homes for the festive season... They once they have been laid they are taken to another location where the gnomes fill them with chocolate... All under the watchful eye of the Easter Bunny and his minions. Not all of the minion bunnies are the cute cuddly kind, there are the darker, twisted overseers are just that, dark and twisted, controlling and a little evil... Yet they run a tight ship, but they look SO feisty, fabulous as they do it...

Trick or Treating for Pennies

 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! The day of the darkest magic has finaly arrived and there is so much fun to be had... I'll admit to you now that this October has been a whole lot less Halloweeny than years gone by, and even though it feels like I've done a lot less Halloweeny stuff this year I'm kinda happy to just be able to relax and enjoy the chill in the air... 

I spent a long time trying to work out what I wanted to be this year for Halloween... I finally got my Hop(e) on - which also happens to be the name of the backdrop from K&S - and realised that posing in the sewer there was one character I had to be... The sewer seemed far too full of trash, and even the tentacle monster that dwells in the dark wants to escape... 
What kinda Halloween spooky lives in the sewer you might ask? For those of you that appreciate a good horror movie, there's only one real answer... I'm dressing all cute and evil clowish, I'm going to get my IT on... 
One of my store obsessions, Mug, made the perfectly girlie version of Pennywise's outfit - appropriately called Penny, and available until November 10th at Kustom9 - and with the addition of a little make-up to look a little Scherzo - in a make-up that is a Hunt Gift from Fallen Gods Inc, at the soon to shut Trick or Treat Lane - and my clowning around was ready...

A warning for Mr Fluffy Balls

Today was a big day as a Brit... There are people that are against having a monarchy, but I personally feel like he could be a King that makes changes to the monarchy for the better, he's a King from the past with a mind for the future, and the ceremony was beautiful and sentimental and I will admit I felt proud to be a small part of history... Things got messed up and ruined my afternoon when someone decided to hack into my Discord, and I spent hours trying to get it back, I HATE people sometimes... 
I was planning on doing something regal, but after the stress of my hacking, I felt the need to grip someone's balls and make them blue... Someone needed a whipping for ruining my day... 

That's how I ended up in a rather sticky situation with the teddies on my bed... Barry Bear Balls and his pandalicious pal - which are available from Aardvark at the latest round of Anthem - were forced to endure my scathing show and tell of how I removed someone else's balls and squeezed them till they went blue - which are also from Aardvark, but are available as a cheapie gift for Anthem's 4th Anniversary - let this be a warning to you all...

Dear Santa, I can explain...

OK OK so when I did a few things that were a little naughty, and I spent time giving Santa a little gift so he'd empty his sack - lol yes, it was a terrible joke I am well aware of it - but I need to take a moment to step back and have another word with the big man in red... I'll start off as if I'm writing a letter it's easier that way... "Dear Santa, I can explain..."

While relaxing in the evening, looking out over the city landscape, I mulled over my options to get myself off the naughty list that didn't involve me getting further down the list in the first place... Do I beg? Promise I'd be extra good next year? Buy him something extra special?? "Dear Santa, I can explain..."
Dragging myself out of my mind, and back into my apartment, I look at my adorable tree - from Junk Food - pulling my soft fluffy rainbow robe - from miss chelsea - tighter around myself, and sipped my rainbow mocha - from ChicChica...
I let my mind drift to more important things, maybe I'd ask Santa to help with more important things... Maybe a little Pride at Home - such a brilliant raising awareness event in SL that if other people paid a little more heed to, the world might be a better, happier, brighter like my Christmas lights kinda place...

Gathering friends for the Necrotic Horror Show

The doors to SL's greatest picture show have finally opened, and I'm not talking about anything the Rocky Horror Picture Show related... I'm talking about the Necrotic Horror Show, and Necrosis' latest outing! It's the last time this dark little event will be coming out to play for a while, so it's the right way to go... Putting on a little show...

Prepping Dinner for Camp Necrosis

It's time for Camp... We're going to Camp Necrosis... There's so much to do before our trip to camp but I've decided to pre- marinade some delicious meat for those campfire barbeques... We could make something really delicious - Burgers or Sausage, the options are endless... The meat is fresh, it's ready for some marinade... 

Hands and legs are best marinated in BBQ flavour, I prefer my head meat to be a little spicy and we're definitely going to be removing the feet because YUCK!!
In my MINIMAL Kitchen, I've prepped the meat - thanks to Lilith's Den at Necrosis - and once it's in the pot I'm going to sit down with a nice cup of tea, from my adorable Zombie Suicide Tea Set and wait till the timer goes off to let me know it's ready! 
We're going to eat like kings and queens at Camp!!

Where have the Teletubbies gone?

I warn you now... I'm in a weird mood today... LOL... Weird and twisted and silly all in the same space... It's an interesting place to be, and I think that I'm going to point the finger of blame on the Necrosis that is seeping out over Second Life... 
Necrosis is once again opening the tombs and letting the darkness fill the cemetery to bring forth a host of macabre delights... This time it's not alone, the dead are bringing something far more sinister... Leviathans have been unleashed and they are wreaking havoc all over the place... Spreading their chaos even so far as the happier places on earth... 

A little microphone appears in the ground, although it's nervous whispering ensures it has seen better days... If you listen closely, you get to hear "Where have the Teletubbies gone?" In the distance you hear what could have once been happy song but now in the desolate Wastelands it is the singing of a mad person "lalalalala"... The last remaining Teletubbie, obviously found the other Teletubbies and judging by the scar on her forehead, she's joined the Leviathan Cult - courtesy of Skoll at the new round of Necrosis. It might not have been so noticeable, I mean if you can overlook the fact that black good is leaking from her face and tentacles are coming out of her mouth - thanks to the habiti set from G.I.N at Necrosis - and I suppose the fact that she mutilated the other Teletubbies?!

Roll Up, Roll Up... The Hallowes Carnivale is here...

 Roll Up, Roll Up another week of craziness is about to begin, and this time Rudh will have to adventure out to the real world for 3 whole days!!! It's going to be like a crazy carnivale of dodging people who flaunt the Covid-regulations, and I'm really not looking forward to being out in public again. 
So as I said before... Roll Up, Roll Up come get the best seat in the house for the carnival of the week... 

I LOVE getting a little clownish sometimes, there's always so much fun to be had when you're pulling on a little carnivale clown look - and I'm sorry to the people I've freaked out with this, but Halloween wouldn't be Halloween for me without a clown or two - and thanks to the Gacha Guild's Hallowes Carnivale there's so much spooky circus stuff to find this Halloween season!
