Lights on at the Engine Room

It's definitely feeling a lot more like Autumn in my part of the world, which is really bringing me HUGE amounts of happiness... It's a time to start snuggling up, cozying in and turning the lights on early... 
When discussing the turning on of the lights though, it has come to the attention of MANY of Second Life's weird and wonderful residents that the lights have been turned on within the Engine Room, and the doors are now officially open once more... The lights are on, everyone is welcome and we're all going to have fun when we're inside... 

There are so many nooks and crannies within the halls of the Engine Room, but for our first visit today we're heading downstairs to the Bunker Basement - a backdrop from K&S - where the electricity boxes are, and where if we're lucky we might get to meet one of Second Life's shyest residents... She's a creation that was spawned by the great Frankenstein and his collaboration with a certain scientist by the name of Edison, marked with a tattoo on her rust tainted skin - a skin and tattoo from Fallen Gods Inc, available until October 20th at Engine Room - Edison gave her a part of his greatest invention. She wears a Bulb Bouquet - made by CABALPIER also at Engine Room - on her back, to lighten even the darkest corners of her Second Life...

I did not make the Statues Bleed!

Yesterday I had another emotional breakdown, and the monsters within were allowed to rear their ugly heads - not sure if I can get away with calling my demons ugly but it's out there now and I'm not able to take it back - but as a result my photos tend to look darker. Not sure if that is a bad thing, I think I prefer my darker and more creative side... It's that side of me that creates the most interesting images I feel, and today I let my mind run wild with a series of three stone cold beauties in tow...

The demons in me attacked these stone beauties and stole them to the dark recesses of my mind... Drawing just a little blood... I swear it was only a little! Look at my face, how could someone this sweet and innocent looking cause too much blood hehe... Look at how delicately I am gagged with that pretty flower - from Cureless [+] at ROMP - I was good I didn't crush it!!!
The ladies are actually a statue from Paper Moon. Paper Moon has been pretty quiet as of late due to the owner's RL, BUT she's back - ish - and has decided to hold a storewide sale - gachas excluded - with EVERYTHING being 50% off! The sale ends on January 15th, so get your little shoppaholic butts down there, or my demons will be coming after you, and I will be bringing my stony friends too!
One more thing that I want to show you, as I've done before, I felt it's right to break down the layers of my facial decor hehe... I used various layers to build up the look above... Starting with my basic face wound that I am rarely without from antielle, and adding a Scarred Face Tattoo from Corvus before as a finishing touch to the eyes I added an old but still favourite [mock] Zombie Makeover look!

No Beauty Treatments Are Needed, A Lobotomy Would Suffice

Sometimes the mind is a scary place to be, mine has always been one that has a lot of self-doubt and sensitivity... I pick up on people's emotions and reciprocate them, I worry and then worry some more about things that aren't even there and my mind makes up things that aren't even true, so when reality hits me with something big it tends to pour over me like a waterfall... 
So much is happening - or not happening - that last night I snapped... I cried myself to sleep... As a result I found myself feeling empty - almost dead inside - and I wonder is it time for me to make some changes?! I won't go into details, at least not yet, but if the photos I'm coming out with over the next few days seem to fit the Halloween season more than the festive one we are heading for please forgive me! 

I will say that when I am in this frame of mind, I seem to be able to create photos that I love... This is one of them! Normally I over think photos and worry that they aren't good enough, this time my mind is distracted and you can see that I just did what felt natural! I am glad that it worked... 
Rudh was having a little bit of a nip'n'tuck, making some of those changes - there are a few in SL at the moment but not so many as in RL luckily! - but something went wrong and she ended up needing a Lobotomy rather than her simple beauty procedures!
Laid out on a [ContraptioN] table, perhaps she should have known that a procedure like this wouldn't need an embalmer present, yet it appears she was in the right place. The hard table covered with a blanket, the tools of the trade laid on her stomach and the light of the large body freezer casting an eerie glow over her pale skin. The only signs of her procedure - apart from her state of course - are the felt tip markings drawn to show what needed fixing... The doctors of the antielle Beauty Clinic having prepared her for a Suction! 
Minor changes will occur in my SL in the next few days, but it's the RL things that will be more drastic... Still if you are willing to come along with me then hold onto your hats, it's going to be a bumpy ride!

Warnings about Collecting Conkers

Autumn is finally here, my FAVOURITE season of them all... I love the Spring too, but it is the Autumn that always gets me excited. Perhaps it is because of the Halloween Holiday? Perhaps it is the changing of the colours from vibrant greens to reds and oranges and yellows? Perhaps it's something more morbid? You know me, my twisted brain may well be getting a sub-concious kick out of the fact that the trees are "dying" and going into their long Winter sleep! I do have to admit I love that feeling of being able to snuggle up warm and cosy... I really do love that feeling...
Though from years gone by, one of my favourite memories of this time of year was the time I went collecting conkers - although you could call them horse chestnuts - with my grandad. One of the very few memories that I do have of him actually - he used to love helping me get my conkers ready for the battles I faced at school...

So you could say that this post is in honour of him, even though the photograph is a little deranged and that has NOTHING to do with my Grandad! Let's blame the conkers for that!
While I was out for an Autumnal walk in the woods at the Hippie Park on Saturday, something strange happened! I was accosted by a group of Fae, and attacked!
They cut my face, scarring my eye in the process, and tied a rope around my neck - a rope that you can get from Remarkable Oblivion by the way, they are Fae with good taste hehe...
After that I was tortured just a little more, a LobAutumny Needle was pushed into that bad eye, causing a little drool to escape my lips. The only sign that it had anything to do with the Fae being the Autumn leaves around the handle of the spiked tool... You too can get yourself the drool and the Needles from the katat0nik gacha at the new round of The Seasons Story!
After all that, and the fact that I still survived, the Fae took me as their leader, adorning my awesome new Exile Hair - available now at Collabor88 - with this beautiful LODE Chestnut Crown - available at Chapter Four.

Saved by a Demon Angel

I count myself very lucky in SL... The people around me are more often than not better than any therapist could be. They make me laugh, and they pick me up when I fall, but there are very few that I can go to with absolutely any problem and know that they won't judge and will give me honest advice and opinions.
Deangelo is one of those people... He may not agree, and may tell me off for ruining his reputation, but since I've known Dean he's been a bit of a rock to me. I first met Dean way way way back in history, and unfortunately for him, he is now able to say he is one of my oldest - and still active - friends!

It seems funny to see him posed as an angel - some might say he is anything but angelic, but I suppose that gentlemanly aspects of him could be considered fitting?! He has saved me many times from my own emotions - sometimes I do tend to be overly emotional lol - but more than that he makes a pretty good model when I need someone to pose LOL...
This pose is the reason that I created the photo in the first place, it's a release from Signature Pose called Save Me... It was just too romantic not to use, and saying that makes me laugh that I didn't use Hell in the photo LOL...

The Death Cart is Leaving...

The Horror Haute Death Cart is about to roll out... Today is the last day that you can get your hands on the Plague infested wears and I will excitedly tell you that this month has been one of my favourites. It has been brilliant for a Living Dead Dolly like myself. However the Death Cart rolls out today, taking the plague victim collector along with it... Yes the plague was so bad, this body collector died too...

*dimma* has created some awesome grieving poses for this month's Horror Haute line-up - you can see one in the close up photo below - but the Death Cart Pose Prop is by far my favourite pose of the month. Either Pull, mourn or act like the dead, this cart has all the poses a Plague Body collector might need!
Now, as a Death Collector I needed to make sure that I was dressed the part... I had to look professional! I called in The Untitled, and they created this brilliant Death Collector Outfit, complete with jacket, trousers and bowler hat! As a final accessory, I added the cute Black Death Necklace from ImmateriA, which by the way has a cute matching ring available too!
Then bad things started to happen... My skin became pale as the Plague settled into my body - thanks to Reboot for that - my eyes, although always a pretty shade of green, became deranged and diseased looking - curtesy of Laudanum Lollipops - and then right before my eyes the Symptomatic nature of the Plague took control of my body... My fingers started to die right before my eyes, and the last thing I remember before I fell into my Death Cart was the call of a SongBird!

Demons on the Desk of Mr Winchester!

Some of you may have heard but others may not, so I will tell you all again... My Hubby - HellBone Barbosa - is a vehicle maker in SL... He creates vehicles of all different kinds from bikes, to cars to random you'd not even think that would move kinda vehicles, and some of his creations are even based on - as fan replicas - some of the more famous vehicles...
One of the famous vehicles that HellBone has worked on is the Metallicar - from the TV Series Supernatural, and recently it was this vehicle and it's new update that brought us into contact with a Supernatural Super Fan... I mean OK I thought I was a fan, I thought my sister Fledge was a fan, but Adelphus definitely out fan-geeks us on that score, and I mean that in the nicest possible way!!
She in SL, has a store dedicated to all things Supernatural... I think the only thing that she doesn't actually have coming out of her creative SPN store is the Winchesters themselves!

Whilst her and HellBone were discussing the Metallicar he'd been working on, he mentioned I was a fan of the show and she being very sweet sent me a gift that will soon be available through her marketplace store... I had to share it with you, it's too cute to not too... Dean, Sam and some of the other SPN cast as Hello Kitty's latest friends!!! How freaking cute! I chose to wear the Sam shirt, because well I am always going to choose Sam over any of the others, he's my favourite Celeb man candy! - I even wore special yellow eyes just for him. There is a handful of SPN characters to choose from though, so you need not worry about picking just one! You can take your pick from shirts shown below, but I wanted to also point out the Sticky Note... This is another creation from Adelphus's store KAZ2Y5!

Japanese Horror this way comes...

There's something coming... Drawing closer and closer as each minute passes... The wicked laughter taunting and making the hairs of their next victims stand on end, as the sounds of heavy objects are thrown around a locked room in the sky...
One of SL's darkest events is on it's way in... Horror Haute will be rolling out the red carpet very soon, welcoming you to come and sample some of it's wares, luring you into the dark with it's promise of pretties... You wouldn't be the first to succumb to it's macabre nature, and no doubt you wíll be the last... You have been warned, something horrific this way comes, and this time it's oriental as we enter the land of the rising sun!

OK OK I know sometimes I can be a tad over dramatic, but what the heck, if I cannot do that here then where can I?!
However, what was said in the ramble above is correct... Horror Haute January is on it's way in, and this time it will be Japanese Horror themed! I've already sampled some of the sights, trust me you're in for a fright, but I always find myself overly excited and desperate to dive into the Horror Haute goodie box each month. This time, maybe doubly so, and it's mostly the fault of a band that I seem to have become addicted to! If you haven't heard of BabyMetal - you will get to see them at the end of this ramble lol - then you should. I get the feeling they are like Marmite, you either love them or hate them, and I'm definitely on the addicted side. It's J-Pop meets Metal, and though you may think I am bonkers it ALWAYS gets me dancing...
Anyway, I was inspired by the adorable lolita goth and kawaii style of the girls in the band, so my Horror Haute Teaser is something in a combination of the two genres lol... It actually sums my two halves up pretty well LOL...
For Horror Haute this month you can get your hands on this gorgeous [Stargazer Creations] Yurei Skin - thank goodness she's taken a break from torturing me with rainbow colours lol - and although the options available included all different make-up styles I HAD to wear the one with the gaping mouth hehe... It went too well with the scars that permanently adorn my face!
The Kawaii elements just seemed to happen as if by luck lol... I'd been to the latest round of The Kawaii Project and spotted these adorable dresses from katat0nik. I instantly wanted the Rare versions which is covered with apples and skulls - aptly named poison apple - and normally I don't hold my breath as I never have the luck to win Rares, but this one fell into my lap first try YAY!!! Then I remembered the adorable little Apple Bag that was a special gift from katat0nik at The Arcade this Christmas... I HAD TO USE IT TOGETHER... It wasn't until after this photo was taken that I spotted katat0nik Pidgeon herself had done the same thing *facepalms*, so this one is in homage to her LOL...
Lastly, and as a finishing touch, this secretive monster girl reached for her Kitsune Mask - Japanese Fox Mask - from Zyn. I'd not heard of this store before, but since looking there is a few things that I will definitely be spending my lindens on hehe...
One last thing to finish us off today, and get you in the dancing mood for the weekend... A little bit of BabyMetal... Introducing BabyMetal and their song, Megitsune, which seems to mean Vixen?!

SL is filled with knives you cannot see...

There are knives in the darkness

WARNING... THIS IS ONE OF THOSE EMOTIONAL JOURNAL POSTS YOU MAY WANT TO SKIP LOL...

It's been a good few days now since the drama erupted in an explosion full of cat claws and crocodile tears, and although I have tried to appear as if I am over the whole thing on the outside, inside I feel like I am hollow...
Putting on a brave front around everyone that knows both parties involved is a bit of a draining business, especially when the problem person is standing there saying nothing to anyone. I think that people are beginning to realise there has been a problem and yet they are all avoiding the issue, which suits me fine. I just wonder what will happen when it eventually cracks through the surface and people find out... Still I am not going to be the one to tell them!
I've opened up to very few people about what happened, only ever mentioning the barest details of the betrayal, and I'm not going to say more with the exception of stating the obvious that lies can cause serious hurt...
Secrets are one thing, we all have some and heck I know I hold a few close to me, but when you lie and the can of worms starts to wriggle there will always be fall outs as a bird knocks over that worm can!
What makes it even worse, however, is the confrontation... I've always had trouble with it, but to hear someone you trust cry crocodile tears and feign an appearance of remorse for hurting someone they called "one of their best friends", makes a bad situation feel a hundred times worse. An apology works better than some freshly squeezed tears, tears more for the fact that you got caught and less for the pain of your "friend" - and your "master" too, it was a double whammy of drama and more than one person was stabbed in the back this time!
Who knows what the future will hold for the other person involved, as of right now I am distancing myself and will continue to walk away for the forseeable future, and I sincerely hope that somewhere behind those fake tears the liar learnt a lesson... Maybe one day I can forgive, forgetting is not an option, but as you can see from the photo that I've included - which truly represents my inner feelings right now - I have been left beaten, wounded and no doubt scarred.
Beware the knives in the darkness, they come from no-where when you least expect them, and you have little chance to brace yourself for the impact...

Now to warm up the frostbite?!

I'M BACKKKKKK... Did ya miss me??? I had an amazing Christmas Holiday with my family at home in the UK, it would have been perfect if I hadn't gotten sick on Boxing Day - the name we Brits use for Second Christmas Day! - which meant that I had to miss the annual family get together!!
Still now that I am back, after a very cold trek home through snow! I have to defrost my frost bitten toesies and fingers, and get back into the blogging thing hehe... 
I have so much to share with you, I cannot quite believe that I almost missed my favourite event of the month! Horror Haute started just as I was going home, I thought NOOOOOOOOO but I will tell you, in a very excitable way, that Horror Haute December will carry on until January 4th!!! 

This gives the little Zombie Girl Me - yes the theme of the month for Horror Haute is Zombie Apocalyptic Christmas! - a chance to actually defrost her fingers and toes and get ready for the few days of blogging like a demon hehe... 
The little Zombie Girl trekked miles to get somewhere warm so that she could finally defrost her toes... That's what she gets I suppose for wearing Snowshoes - from ImmateriA - in the snow without socks or boots in them?! Though I guess the little dress didn't help much to protect her from the cold either! Then again, the gorgeous Latika Dress from Blue Blood - which you can pick up at Horror Haute along with the snow shoes - was just too cute not to play around in. It comes in light and dark versions, but for some reason - which astounds me - I was drawn to the pretty light designs, that is if you can ignore the blood of course! 
I guess I should also show off the camp that she wandered into, it's a set made perfectly to shelter in during the Zombie Apocalyptic Christmas, from La Maison Des Corbeaux. The set includes a tent, a sleeping bag and a fire, so you should stay warm and dry, just don't forget something to kill the zombies with or you won't be needing the camp for very long hehe...

Time for something a little Different...

Amidst all of the fancy goings on at Christmas, is it just me or is it a non-stop time of year?! I had to admit something to myself. I LOVE the festivity, the pretty, the amazing warm feeling that Christmas always seems to have no matter where I am... BUT I really do miss the darker, macabre side of things hehe... There is only so much rainbow sparkle to Rudh I can take in one sitting, and I had to have a little injection of something darker... 
I guess you could call it a random, non-seasonal look of the day, but I HAD to get out of the cutesy Christmas stuff for just a little while! Hence why I found myself playing around in my wardrobe, searching for something a little darker, a little more sadistic, a little more attention seeking from those with a love of things that are kinky hehe... 

One of those kinky - although he pretends to be a sweetheart - people just happened to be my dear friend... We shall not name and shame him here, don't want to get him a rep as the Dom that gimped up for a brat - albeit in a modelling capacity - but even hinting that may get me into trouble later, I'd better behave... Sorry Sir hehe...  He suggested the idea, and I knew he would be the perfect one to help me... There was NO WAY I'd ever get my hubby dressing up like this!
The reason for the photos was that as a random "look of the day" I needed some way to shoot myself, when it was suggested that I was styled in a way that needed a gimpy sub, I knew I had the perfect poses in storage waiting to shine... The photo above uses a pose called Adoration, by Image Essentials, where as the close-up coming later uses an old Captivity Co Pose, which unfortunately is no longer available!
Let's have a little chat about the outfit though shall we... It started out due to two purchases from a past round of Fi*Friday - fear not though, items are available now at their origin stores. The Black Leather Top from M.O.D.A.N.M.E.S.H, and the thigh high Bullet Boots from Obscure, were two items that I simply could NOT leave behind... I HAD to grab them as soon as I saw them! Although, never in a million years did I think I'd be pairing them together, along with my teeny Razor Micro Shorts, and a Gas Mask to create some urban, cyber, Goth Domme look! 
With the exception of one of my favourite constriction collars - the Scrub Feathered Constriction to be precise - and an eye patch, from DirtyStories, I tried to keep everything else simple. Simple jewellery, simply dressed pet... With all of that control, too much else could possibly have landed me in some very hot water hehe... 

To the dear, sweet, little Gimp in the photos... Thank you for posing and being patient with me, I know you went off to make a cuppa while I was playing with your body, but it's great to have someone who is outside the biker circuit and doesn't mind going beyond his comfort zone for my crazy photo taking! You Sir, are the best!!! *hugs*

Lazy Day in the Laguna Play House...

Sometimes having a lazy day is necessary... I've been busy working my little butt off trying to make sure I have everything I needed to photographed, edited and ready to go because of a few simple reasons... Firstly, Horrorfestive has been dominating my time, Secondly HellBone and I are leaving Holland to visit my parents over Christmas on Sunday, and lastly but as of today most importantly, today is the day that my SL sister Rava gets married to her man Mick.... 
I'm on Bridesmaid duty, Hell is walking her down the aisle, but on top of all of that, I am her photographer... I've only actually photographed ONE wedding before and I am REALLY worried about doing it. Had a nightmare last night that my PC died right as she was walking down the aisle!!! 
Must remain calm and have faith in my PC!!! LOL!!!

So I made HellBone find the time to take some photos with me, it's always nice to be able to get him to pose. Normally it's too much of a bother for him, and he gets grumpy because it takes too long lol, but this time he was happy to pose because I persuaded him with an awesome pair of Jammies! 
This may be one of the very few times you will see us in ANYTHING that resembles a matchy couples look hehe... Normally I wouldn't wanna look anything like he does but come on, these jammies are just too cute not too! They are Pixicat Pyjamas, and no doubt you have seen them popping up all over SL as they are a prize in one of the most eagerly anticipated events every few months, The Arcade. 
What a great way to relax though, lounging about in my childish playhouse, wearing cute Jammies and actually having him make time for me in SL to do something for me for a change LOL...
