Watching the Ducks

I'm awake too early this morning, it's officially my "day off"but due to recent circumstances it feels just like an ordinary day.... I didn't sleep much last night, there is a meeting being held at the office today which I am forcing myself to go to, but heck I feel terrible - sick to the pit of my stomach and butterflies dancing the conga!!! 
So I get up, after sleeping badly and find myself following the usual routine... Drinking Coffee, turning on the PC and giving myself a quiet "half hour" - that's what I tell myself but it's always more LOL - to take a picture and relax, if I can... 

Writing this took me a little longer than planned, I was side tracked and had to leave, but then now I am back I can settle down again with a cup of coffee and unwind. 
I grabbed my coffee and a laptop - which by the way is a new pose from Come Soon that is available at The Chapter Four in a gacha machine! - and found myself sitting in the garden - in SL because in RL it's freakin' snowing - and talking to the ducks. The Ducklings were taking their "First Swim", some were at least, the rest were too busy walking all over my new sleeping Pug Puppy! 
IT's so cute to watch them swimming or Puppy walking... Almost makes me forget that it's cold and bleh here in RL lol...

Picnics in the Park

Friday is here, and that means that tomorrow is the weekend!!! Although I still work on the weekends - there is no rest of the wicked - I still find it the best time to just kick back and relax. I need it bad at the moment, a chance to relax and not think about anything - though I may allow myself a little shopping trip as I need to get presents for my parents for the Dutch holiday of Sinterklaas!
If it's sunny I may even take a walk through the local park with my dog... Never know could stop and have a picnic like Rudh did at It all starts with a smile!

I love this sim, it's a pretty location that changes with the season and for the Autumn season it's divine... I wish colours were this vibrant in RL all the time... It's the perfect place to stop, while wrapped up warm and snug, for a picnic... 
Talking of being wrapped up I have to spend a couple of minutes just telling you about my two new and favourite Autumn closet must-haves... The sweater that I am wearing is one of these - it's a Dead Dollz Reagan Sweater in Khaki, although they come in other colours too, and it's SO warm and snug looking, and I LOVE the floppy over the hands sleeves. It looks awesome when paired with my gorgeous new [sYs] scarf that comes in a whole range of different colours and is available at this month's Chapter Four too... 
Just one more thing deserving honourable mention... It's not something that I would ever normally even think about wearing but it looked so perfect with this outfit. In RL I am crazy about bags, I have them in all different shapes, sizes, colours and styles - just ask HellBone - but I never normally bother with them too much in SL... Yet these Leaf Bags from PSYCHO.Byts are so cute, how can you not fall in love with them if you have a bag fetish! 
I hope that there is some hot soup in that flask I'd really like some hot soup right now!!!

Romantic Paris

I'm feeling a little bit soppy this morning, as I woke up thinking about relationships... Many people come to SL seeking love and end up getting burnt! Heck I've been there too, falling for people that won't be reciprocating my feelings and realising too late that the things I loved about my craziness have changed... I spent a lot of time and took a lot of chances when it came to finding a SLove, but when I finally stopped looking, love in a HellBone shape appeared...
Now OK I am rambling BUT it's all because I took a very romantic walk through Paris alone - Hell doesn't do romance anymore LOL - and it just stirred things up, making me feel all soppy, sentimental and romantic...

Paris Je T'aime is a home location for a number of great stores, but the location on it's own is really worth wandering around in. It's very pretty and really captures the romance of Paris...
Now I may get into trouble for this, and I am a bit of a bad blogger but I am late with blogging this amazing dress. To be fair I had the picture ready to edit but only yesterday did I have a chance to get any editing done! This is one of those very gorgeous dresses that I needed somewhere special to wear... I chose Paris... It's a Petite Mort Cabaret Velvet Dress in a Rose colour - don't gasp in shock, I know I don't wear pink often - and there are 5 different colour options to choose from. These gorgeous dresses were available until yesterday - hence why I may be in trouble - as an event release for the Lovecraft Festival, which has now closed and I am hoping these dresses are moved to the main store!
I kept everything else simple with this look - hair and shoes were both very understated - the only exception being this gorgeous Posy of Southern Magnolias in a pretty Sorbet colour from, in my personal opinion, the best flower makers in SL - LODE!
Perhaps her bouquet was a romantic gesture from some secretive stranger as she wandered home through the streets of Paris... A beautiful dress and a beautiful bouquet, all adds to the romance of the scenery...

Snaps to Start

The weekend is a good time to wake up slowly, drink a few cups of coffee and then perhaps spend a good few hours taking some pretty pictures and wasting a day lol... That's definitely my Sunday routine but this weekend I want a day of nothing-much-ness and I plan to do that by spending my time with my SL camera. 
Give me five minutes in my gorgeous little office to make sure my camera is all set up and ready to rock and roll... 

I love this new pose from Come Soon by the way. It's called My Lens and it's available now at The Chapter Four until August 31st. As per usual, the Come Soon Poses come with a full scene or the pose on it's own, and as nice as the scene is I had to use this particular pose in my office! It was too much of a temptation to resist. I spend time here working on blogging stuff, working on Gator stuff, and in fact working on anything that I have to work on too LOL... It's my quiet place to get things done in. I'm not gonna list all of my little knick-knacks but if you want to know something in particular please do ask me... I have been good and listed all the big furniture pieces though... 
This is the most relaxed outfit I will be wearing today too I'm sure, have a lot of crazy photo ideas that need to be put into place and none of them require me to look comfortable...Guess I should enjoy the comfortable but adorable Frayed Denim Shorts from Mon Cheri, the overly huge sweater from WONDERLOST and the super cute Celie Sneakers from FLG while I can hehe...

A moment with Hell

Moments like this do not happen very often but I think that it is time I shared a picture of Hell and I... Just Hell and I... No one else!! Don't look so shocked LOL I know it is rare but I do have moments with my hubby sometimes! Not that often and usually under duress - on his part I might add - but when I eventually get him to stop building, shooting, being a fart machine to entertain his brother Mongo, and he sits still for a few minutes, he actually makes a fairly good model... I have to work fast, he won't remain still for long, but I gotta hand it to him, in recent months my hubby has become pretty hot! 

What started as an argument with Solde prior to her wedding - between Hell and Solde, I was not getting involved in that fight - has now become HellBone constantly shopping, being a fashionista - even if he does really only dress in biker style - and looking pretty good! He's even attracting more attention from the ladies hehe... It's so cute when he gets all unsure if someone is flirting with him LOL...

I'm even more impressed that sitting down like this - using the Come Soon "One" Pose that is available from The Expo until July 27th - that he didn't catch something hehe... The underground bunker that we're on the steps of is the entrance to his special hide-out, the Doody Man cave, which he shares with his brother! There's no way I'd have sat on the steps LOL!!!

Not really a Country Girl!

A couple of weeks ago now, I said that I would be testing myself a little more... Trying to step out of my biker rock chick living dead girl comfort zone and into some things that were not truly Rudhish in style... One of those happened a few days later in the form of a birthday party held for one of our Gator Boys! We all had to get into a little Yee-Haw and slip into something Country Western... MY GOSH was it harder than I expected... Even with Sussie and Mongo as my shopping guides I had trouble! 

I did however find something, I wasn't entirely happy with it but it worked... That was until I went to the latest round of The Chapter Four this month! Luas had released what I felt was the PERFECT Rudhish country girl dress... I asked for clarification - and even though Mongo felt it didn't show enough of my curves - everyone agreed that it worked! It was almost like Luas was in my head and designed the perfect dress for what I wanted! 
I teamed it with a pair of cute Ankle Booties and this awesome Hat and Hair combo from Truth, and apparently I was good to go! 
I'm enjoying pushing my boundaries a little, who knows what will come next... Any Suggestions?

Gemstone Bubbles

I've been on a roll with taking pictures recently, all different kinds and styles, I've done so many in fact that it's hard to choose which picture I want to blog first and what is best suited to my current mood LOL... So for now, even though I am stuck in my RL office, I thought I'd do something a little bit crazy random! As much as I love taking pictures, it's the crazy random that I love best...

This came about because of two amazing things, that just seemed to connect together in my weird brain.
My first crazy need this week was the CURELESS Luxurious Dolls Gacha at the new Gami Gacha event. I needed this Engraved Doll Head in my SL and nothing was going to stop me LOL... Now this head is a Rare one, but it contains a few things that I wanted to point out... There is a colour hud for colouring the gems, a tattoo layer for both system and mesh heads, and TWO different possibilities for attaching the gems. One is as shown here, already laid out on a cute dolly head, the other is gems that can be edited to fit your own personal face... Now I tried this second option... It was SO Fiddly to get the gems in the exact spots that I kinda gave up and decided to wear the head instead!! It's not a criticism by any means, I LOVE that we have the option, but in my case I was being far too lazy and thought "Nah!"
The second thing I HAD to have was this Fish in the Bubble from Astralia - available at The Chapter Four now - it just really appealed to my kookie side!
I finished the crazy randomness from my brain with a past Hair Fair Freebie from YUKO - on a side note, HAIR FAIR 2016 IS COMING!!!!! - and a pretty necklace from May's Soul, and the crazy was ready!
I feel better for having been able to do something a little crazy... Now to just get through the rest of the day!

Flowers for a Dead Thing

It's Monday Morning again... The day of the week that never seems to end, much like Tuesday, a feeling that is totally opposite to the weekends which tend to be "blink and you miss it" moments. I took a few days off one of my jobs last week because I was simply too tired to work anymore, and now I feel somewhat refreshed, and more than a little creative...
SO ladies and gentlemen, it's time to release my inner weird girl side and see what comes out...

I love when my mind becomes creative... It creates such crazy but pretty things, this being one of them... I surprised myself even at this depraved looking, fae being... It's definitely fae but I cannot tell you what kind and I'm not even sure if she is good or bad, I'll leave that open to your interpretation, but I REALLY love this picture of me!!!
It started out with me having one of the newest LODE flower accessories - the Apple Blossoms that you can get yourself at The Chapter Four until April 21st - and a Death's Head Moth - from katat0nik at The Season's Story - and wondering what I would do with each of these things... For some reason I added them both to look at them, and it was this that sparked the seeds of imagination and the glitters of creativity swirling in my crazy brain. When I added the MINA Blair hairstyle, it kinda had sparks of something fae - I will admit I was surprised, I didn't think I'd be using these items in a picture together! Then with the addition of one of the Ama Faxinus Collars - this time in a Forest colour - the Fae developed on it's own... There was just one more thing needed...
For some reason this Fae side of me wanted to be dark, mysterious, and creepy... The perfect combination for this were the PSYCHO.Byts Zombie Eyes and the Be Bloody Outcast make-up from Ghost'Ink... It dragged the Fae from pretty, to slightly dark and macabre...
I am so much happier being dark like this...

I am spending the day in RL... A visit from my parents, and a dinner at a Tapas Restaurant! Nothing much to do other than take it easy for the day, because today I celebrate turning Dirty 30!
In SL I am going to hide my avatar away, somewhere to eat cake with a friend, but in RL I'll be dancing and happy... I had a wonderful party on Thursday, that was such a big surprise and I was even pulled on Stage by Johnny5 of Rob Zombie - thank you Boomer, Linda and the rest of the awesome tribute performers!
Eat some cake and think of me today!!! I'm 30!!!

Princess of Dragons...

I tend to be one of those people that is a little optimistic about the things that I do in life. I am one of those "I'll give it a try" type people, even if I back those thoughts up with thoughts of doubt... Sometimes I am right and you get no response to the situation, but others there is a surprise that brings a smile to your face.
The fantasy lover in me was drawn out recently, and I have to say I have missed working on something a little more fantasy. It started with a dress - themed for the Game of Thrones, which I admit I know NOTHING about - and finished with a tiny little dragon in a teacup hehe... Let the imagination commence as the Dragon Princess saves a baby dragon from a dark underground world! 

The location is amazing, one of those really pretty Role Play sims that I initially thought wouldn't let people in... BUT... They have an observer tag that you can wear and I slipped that on before going exploring, and I was hoping that so long as I stayed out of the way of the action I'd not bother anyone... I'd recommend the sim for fantasy photography - it's Mysts of EYR - and I know that I will definitely be going back to take more photos... It is gorgeous! 
The entire reason for the dress and letting my imagination run wild however, not to mention my opening ramble, is that recently I was digging around, looking to see if anyone was accepting new bloggers - I wanted to try my luck and see if I had what it takes... One of those places was Petite Mort. NEVER in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be given a shot, especially considering I hadn't ever blogged their creations before, but OH MY GOD their designs are SO pretty and so varied! 
This dress is one from Petite Mort that you can grab for yourself at the latest round of The Instruments, which this month has a Game of Thrones theme. I didn't realise at the time I was taking this picture too but there is someone linked with Dragons in the Game of Thrones - I really may be the only person on the planet that has no idea, and I'm sorry LOL - but the dragon I rescued needed to be freed... I had no way of getting him out except putting him in my tea cup! You can find these dragons - and the matching horns - at the latest Kawaii Project from darkenedStare! 
One more thing before I sign off though, I wanted to include a close-up picture which you can see below, just to show off some of the accessorising I did in this fantasy look... LODE's Violet Wreath looked great with the horns, and the eyes that seemed to change as soon as I reached for the dragon. There was a SongBird calling "Soothsayer" nearby, not sure if that was related, but my eyes sure did itch hehe...

Make-Up and Hairstyling for a Princess

I'm still playing dress-up, though this time it might be less easy to see that hehe... This time I am thinking more of a princess than anything evil, but I am a princess that likes to take her time to get ready for her day's adventures. As in RL, this morning I can take my time waking up, drink some coffee at a leisurely pace and get myself all dolled up... 
I found a very pretty dress and although it wasn't my usual taste in things, I simply couldn't resist - hence why today I am a pretty princess hehe... It's also given me the chance to show you one of my favourite bits of my bedroom... 

The area in question is actually my vanity station, my make-up magic bench as I call the one I have in RL - not that I ever tend to wear a lot of make up in RL, I'm a bit too forgetful! Yet this vanity table is actually something that HellBone found for me and that I love. It's a HIDEKI Directors Chair, that has 4 different poses within and that I have thrown tons of adorable Make-Up themed products all over including brushes, creams, and lip balms... There are a few things for styling my many wigs, bright colours for my nails and even a friend to practice the look on - thank you BOOGERS hehe... 
Everything I need to transform myself into whatever it is that I want to be today... 
Right now I need pretty, I need sparkles, I need PRINCESS... 
The dress and shoes were what brought the look into the forefront of my mind, as it's not a pretty look I'd normally go for... I found the dress at the latest round of The Chapter Four from GizzA. It's called the Ribboned Ruffle Dress and it comes in a range of colours, normally I'd have gone for something dark but this smoky colour was just too gorgeous to pass up, and when I spotted the blue ribbon - that comes in the HUD provided - I had to wear these amazing ChicChica Princess shoes with it! It was a match made in Princess Heaven hehe... 
LOL my look of the day is Princess... If only I could get myself into a Disney Princess Happy mood feeling then I'd be great!

The cure for a broken heart is a Tea Party!

Sticking with a theme of all things dead and therefore a little bit dark and macabre for now, as it really seems to fit well with the mood that I am in too... I LOVE this time of year, I can be my zombiefied self and no one even blinks an eyelid because "Hey it's nearly Halloween" LOL...
I've created many stories for myself as characters that I have been through the years of SL - all 9 of them - and although I enjoyed being a Fae and then a Vampire - not the bloodlines kind I will point out, I was a vampire before all that started and stopped once it did LOL - that being a Zombie has been the most fun. I love telling people that I am going to be dead for the day, the reactions make me laugh, and I am lucky that it hasn't offended anyone yet, but at this time of year I enjoy nothing more than letting myself relax and enjoying a little party... Cake anyone?

The location of my party is Deadman's Island Haunted Sim... I was super excited to find this place, and will no doubt be using it as a location as many times as possible, just in case it's only there for the season!! When I arrived the Halloween Haunted Tea Party was already set out - laid out by the creative mind behind Boudoir - and it even had the most amazing table decoration, I wonder what his name was?!
My outfit was one of those that I had on and loved, I guess you could say it was a look of the day - although in reality it was more like 5 days! - and it was something that I bought on the spur of the moment, it's not entirely my normal style...
The AMITOMO Shirts Under Dress dress was one that I picked up at the latest round of Chapter Four. It was sooooo busy when I went in that trying a demo seemed like hard work, so I took a chance and my luck paid off... I picked up a gorgeous little dress that I love.
I also grabbed a new Doe Wig when I was out shopping recently, this time at The Seasons Story however... The Gretchen wig is SO CUTE and it works perfectly with the cute dress, but it's not the only change to a body part. If you look closely you might also see that I am a little paler than normal, there is a reason for this, and it's not just a trick of the light. Last Friday, Glam Affair released the Sia Ghost Skins for Fifty Linden Friday, and I had to have them even if it did mean I had to buy Polar tone appliers at a cost of almost three times more than the skins themselves! They will definitely become my new Halloween Tone for October, but never fear I will tan just a little more after the spooky month is over!

Warnings about Collecting Conkers

Autumn is finally here, my FAVOURITE season of them all... I love the Spring too, but it is the Autumn that always gets me excited. Perhaps it is because of the Halloween Holiday? Perhaps it is the changing of the colours from vibrant greens to reds and oranges and yellows? Perhaps it's something more morbid? You know me, my twisted brain may well be getting a sub-concious kick out of the fact that the trees are "dying" and going into their long Winter sleep! I do have to admit I love that feeling of being able to snuggle up warm and cosy... I really do love that feeling...
Though from years gone by, one of my favourite memories of this time of year was the time I went collecting conkers - although you could call them horse chestnuts - with my grandad. One of the very few memories that I do have of him actually - he used to love helping me get my conkers ready for the battles I faced at school...

So you could say that this post is in honour of him, even though the photograph is a little deranged and that has NOTHING to do with my Grandad! Let's blame the conkers for that!
While I was out for an Autumnal walk in the woods at the Hippie Park on Saturday, something strange happened! I was accosted by a group of Fae, and attacked!
They cut my face, scarring my eye in the process, and tied a rope around my neck - a rope that you can get from Remarkable Oblivion by the way, they are Fae with good taste hehe...
After that I was tortured just a little more, a LobAutumny Needle was pushed into that bad eye, causing a little drool to escape my lips. The only sign that it had anything to do with the Fae being the Autumn leaves around the handle of the spiked tool... You too can get yourself the drool and the Needles from the katat0nik gacha at the new round of The Seasons Story!
After all that, and the fact that I still survived, the Fae took me as their leader, adorning my awesome new Exile Hair - available now at Collabor88 - with this beautiful LODE Chestnut Crown - available at Chapter Four.
So if you go out conker collecting this Autumn, you have been warned, the Fae will come for you!

Listen to the Goats

Its early morning, I drank a little bit much last night and now I'm feeling not hungover per-se but more like a feeling of fluffiness!! Needless to say I am taking it very slow this morning, and armed with a coffee I will just sit and talk to you... Maybe I'll take some more pictures, that always seems like a good wake up remedy, but while I love taking all of these pictures perhaps I should take 5 minutes and actually share them with you huh?! 
This morning, I am going to tell you about a conversation I had... With a Goat!! 

I'd been visiting my MC Sister Lilian's home, and while there I saw her lovely meadow for the goats. Complete with rusted tractor and their very own rusty shed to play in these goats seemed so cute and happy that I had to wander in and pet them. 
One of them though, is a very talkative little bugger, bleeting and making fun of me... "Who wears high heels in a goat pen crazy lady?" it said LOL... Poor Lil came back to hear me having a conversation with a goat that didn't actually talk!! Sometimes I wonder why my sanity chooses to leave me when I log into SL hehe...
These goats are from Jian - and are currently available at We <3 RP - they are SO FREAKING CUTEEEEEEEE I am going to have to steal them from my sister and run home with them heheh... 
But yes the Goat was right, I am wearing some very high EMPORIUM Marilyn Heels in a field filled with goat poop, it wasn't the smartest idea I must say, though heck they look SO CUTE with my outfit... A pair of jeans from my jeans addiction store that is SPIRIT and a super cute top from offbeat, which is decorated with little cacti that I picked up at the last round of The Chapter Four. Sadly the event has closed but these tops should be available at the offbeat mainstore so go check them out!!! 
So lesson for the day... Listen to the Goats when they tell you wearing Heels in a goat field is a bad idea!

COWABUNGA DUDE, if only I could stand up!

Today I don't seem to be able to get on-line... I really hope that it's just a simple SL error and not something to do with a little griefer issue that has arisen around the Gators MC... Some little freak with too much time on his hands decided he didn't like me and the club because I have been one of very few people to tell him he needs to behave more like an adult than a little boy, purely and simply because why should he mess up someone else's SL just because he cannot find happiness in his own?! 
Luckily I have plenty of blogging to be getting on with... I could do some Hair Fair blogging, or some Horror Haute blogging, but to be honest I feel like being lazy, it feels like a weekend and all I want to do is RELAX lol... So I'm going Surfing!

The beach happens to be the same one I went to when I was visiting vampire friends the other day, but the surf boards called me back and so it's cowabunga dude and away I go... 
The surfboard is a pose prop from Image Essentials called Surfin Aussie Style. It is stuffed with a series of different poses and textures and is usable for both guys and girls! 
My Bikini is actually part of an outfit from SAKIDE called Angharad - this isn't actually meant as a bikini but it comes like this in a set with a skirt too, I just loved the way it looked and so a bikini it became LOL... 
Then I accessorised with a colour that for me is more than a little strange LOL, I went PINK!! Aggie will be so proud of me for going pink willingly! I wore a single Ann Lily from Lode - the store I will tell you a million times over is THE BEST flower maker in SL! - and some adorable pink Sass Shades from [atooly], as well as some Edge Cuffs from Lost Junction, to create a pretty in pink, surfer girl... 
If only I could learn how to stand up on this thing LOL...

There's not Mush-room in here...

It is June... I don't know about how your June is in your part of the world but in the UK at the moment it is more like Autumn than Summer. It's not cold exactly, but it's gray and murky and there is a definite fizz of rain in the air! 
I have been lucky with the photos that I have put together before coming to visit family, there always seems to be one that is right for the occasion of what I want to talk to you about LOL... Lucky how that works huh? I could never have predicted this Autumnal feeling weather in a million years, but the photo I have to share with you today really sums up that feeling. 

I'm actually - for the first time since I arrived - feeling a little bored and wondering what the heck to do with myself... BLOGGING is always a cure for that!
So I let my inner fae out to play... 
I put this look together due to a release from LODE for this month's line-up of Chapter Four... The Musha Gacha is just like any other LODE gacha release, I LOVE their flowers more than any other I have seen in SL... I HAD to have a set... Choosing the yellow set wasn't my best idea, it was the last one to come out of the machine LOL but if you want any other colours please feel free to ask, I may be able to help!
This slightly dark fae was then draped in a fur bodysuit, a VERY old release from SAKIDE, and whilst out exploring at the Garden of Dreams, she stopped briefly to pick up a very small - ImmateriA - friend who wrapped himself around her wrist like a bracelet! 
I LOVE being able to play as a fantasy character sometimes... It always makes me feel good to get away from the norm for a bit, and I will tell you right now that taking a break out of being on holiday to write to you made me feel less bored and so very relaxed hehe... Time to get on with being a lazy bum though!!!
