I have Horror Haute on the brain at the moment, purely and simply because there is so much good stuff within the line-up it's hard not too... That and I've been wracking my brain for their blogging co-ordination - but that's a story which I will have to keep to myself lol... The theme this month, as I have said before, is Vampires... Being a Living Dead of the Zombie variety in my day to day SL, somehow becoming a vampire was a bit like shedding a skin and slipping into another dead one LOL - which actually sounds pretty gross, but as it's Halloween this week maybe I can get away with it?! The weird thing is though, for some reason I just didnt want to go all out creepy looking, classic pale vampire... I tried to modernise the vampire look without going all Twilight, whilst still keeping my kookie style intact... I think I managed LOL!!!
Incorporating Horror Haute into the outfit I was wearing seemed the best idea, and to do that I just picked out - from the HUGE collection, most of which you can see in my investigative post previously hehe - a cute shade of black Czarny Kanarek lipstick, you'll have to excuse the traces of my lunch however. The rest of my outfit is non-Horror Haute, but I was wearing it around at home and liked it enough to throw together what could be called a look of the day post! The hair, complete with it's HUGE bow, is a TAG Gacha release from SpellBound, available in many colours, I was lucky enough to win the white version! The outfit itself comprised of an old, but one of my favourites, pair of leggings from Sn@tch, and a brand new jacket from Razor called Cataclysm Tri-Jacket. I fell in love with this jacket as soon as I spotted it, it's biased cut, high-necked, has a lack of a back, but it just called to the biker chick in me and so long as I don't fall off and therefore can avoid the road rash, it will look perfect on the back of a bike!! Lastly the pose I wanted to share is an older one but still great to use from elephante poses! Voodoo is something that although associated with this time of year, has no real Halloween connotations, does it?! I mean OK I know Voodoo is sometimes seen as a kind of evil, torture, especially with things like Voodoo Dolls, but Halloween does seem to have almost adopted the idea for it's own evil uses hehe...

I mentioned the TAG Gacha Event before, but I had to admit that I am counting my lucky stars with at least one of the stores in the line-up!!! You might have realised that I am a little obsessed with a store that pumps out so much cuteness, I have to take it all in slowly or risk fear of being made to explode in an explosion of uber cuteness! The fact that these items are in a gacha machine may be a good thing, I mean that way you get less of an explosion... Unless you're like me and NEED all of them!! I'm talking about MishMish and the freakily adorable Scawy Monsters! They will follow you around, and if they get hungry, bite you're ankles... BUT they are so easy to forgive because they are just so cute!!!
SEE!!! I was taking a walk in the garden and was joined by a Scawy Monster that has aspirations to be Freddy Krueger when he grows up! How could I say no to that! There are so many different Monsters... I had such a hard time choosing which one to take a walk with to be honest! They range from some cute colourful ones, to known monsters and even if you're really lucky a rare unicorn or avatar! As I said I had such a hard time choosing who to share with you here, that I had to include the MishMish Scawy Monster Key - which includes all of the options you can win in the gacha machine - here with you!
The only other thing that needs to be mentioned here, and which to be fair seem perfect for Halloween, are these awesome boots from REIGN! These were a past event release, but I am sure they are available at the main store, and unlike a lot of the REIGN shoes, they are made to wear with the SLINK Mid feet - so bare that in mind if you're our to buy these! You might have noticed by now that I am a little into the macabre, gory, evil side of style in SL... In RL I a very much a jeans and t-shirts kinda girl that always wears her chunky boots and never bothers with make-up, but in SL that style is left at the log in screen and here I become a girlie, grungy living dead dolly... Today I was feeling inspired! I was out shopping, exploring the awesome Bloody Horror Fair, and I stumbled upon a helmet that made a song pop so far into my head it's been stuck there ever since! Luckily it was one of my favourite songs at the moment!!! Now I'm going to share it with you LOL...
The Hellraiser Helmet, from Goth1c0 and found exclusively at Bloody Horror Fair, was the inspiration for this look, and it was all based on a look by In This Moment's singer - Maria Brink. Their video for the song "Whore" sees her wearing a horned helmet similar to this one, and biting her fingers drawing blood! I couldn't resist paying homage to that in my own Rudhish way! I went down a similar gory, whoreish route to Rudhify but replicate her style by accessorising... Leaving my favourite new collar on from ginchi, I added the brand new "Gore Whore" Necklace from Cute Poison - which like the helmet can also be found at Bloody Horror Fair! The scribblings all over my chest are something that I had noticed a while back on the marketplace and they had never really fit any of the looks that I had been going for... The Truth Tattoo, from Corvus, is a series of words scribbled across your chest ranging from Selfish to Empty and hitting a few other harsh truths in between... I hope that no one would ever agree that I am any of those things, but I guess the person that is could be a true Hellraiser?! Just one more thing before I finish up here... Seeing as my look is loosely based on the look of Maria Brink, in a particular music video, I guess I should share it so you can see what I am talking about LOL...
There is a new gacha phenomenon in town that seems to be taking many SL'ers by storm... The Arcade is one of the biggest and best known shopping events that SL has to offer these days, but I think that this could be bigger, better and a little more entertaining?! I am talking about TAG Gacha... If you love the Arcade, you will no doubt love this equally as much, and with the addition of a trail to follow, each area with a different section of a storyline and some fab prizes then I am sure you may love this even more... I know I did! It's well planned, well executed and filled with some cute stores that will appeal to all different tastes. PLUS, if the chance of regular games of chance in the gachas wasn't enough for you, then the addition of the Mystery Tickets in which you can win super rare prizes makes it all the more exciting! I REALLY HOPE that this event comes back more, because it was fun to waste some time doing!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
I really enjoyed hopping around to different stores and finding some hidden gems during this event... I also, as is always with Gacha Machines, spent far too much money hehe... Some of the prizes I won seem perfect in combination, very spidery, which was lucky as maybe blending in will help me avoid the spiders in the maze?! The Venomous Hair - who'd have ever thought that I would choose to wear blonde and pink hair? - is an Olive creation. I've not really paid much attention to the Olive hairs, but I think I am going to have to shop there and try some demos at least now! The Gemma Skin, complete with it's wounded mouth, from [theSkinnery], and the Clemmm Scope Eyes worked perfectly together to create a somewhat broken dolly effect, and the addition of the adorable little Half Deer Heart Hugger Bat made the whole outfit a lot cuter. Well as cute as a mummy spider can get as she glances back at her large Hanging Spider Egg Sac, available now from Botanical. All of these things are TAG Event Items!!! How cool is that?! One more thing that needs a mention but isn't TAG, is the cute dress I'm wearing. This, although only the top is visible, is a dress released from Strumpettes for the past round of the Witching Hour event. It's an underbust dress with optional layers to cover the nungas, and as a spiderweb design, this one is fairly cute hehe... Just because the Witching Hour is over this month, doesn't mean you can't find it so don't feel like you've missed out, and therefore if you wanted it, please don't kill me hehe!!!

It's AUTUMN!!!! I love this time of year, it's the season that Halloween calls home, but it's also one of the times of year when nature feels golden! I love that still slightly warm sun, the radiant glow of the light in the reddening trees and even love the rain! Even in SL things are heading in a much more Autumnal direction - which must be weird for people in the southern hemisphere... Must ask Jimmy - well they are, everywhere except the Gators MC Sim... HellBone wants to keep it swampy, and gator infested swamps don't have seasonal change much do they?
I did find a little corner of Autumn... Somewhere the leaves needed raking up and the dead grass could be turned into a hay bale for all the cute little animals that live near my house this winter! While I was doing that I needed something a little more comfy to wear... Thank heavens for my new shirt dress! I saw these dresses advertised at Collabor88 from Atomic, all of the designs were cute but this one with it's "No Good, Very Bad, Always Evil" Design really fitted with the way I live my SL hehe - least I try to but others might well disagree! I kept the rest of my look simple, as I was working in the garden, everything except for my hair and horns that is! The Hair and it's Horns accessory is called Neria, and it can be found at the Mystic Realms Fair in the Truth Booth. I know I've said it before sometimes Truth hair for me is take it or leave it... In the right outfit it can be perfect, but it can also look wrong... I know so many people who say Truth hair is their favourite and I will give it to you I love the textures and styles... This one was just what I wanted, and as they say sometimes you win but sometimes you lose hehe...

I know I've said this a fair few times already this month, and in the past few years but HALLOWEEN IS MY FAVOURITE HOLIDAY! I've been playing dress up like crazy so far this month, and loving every minute of it too! There are so many fun and macabre things to buy out there that this living dead dolly simply doesn't have enough time to get to them all!!! One thing that always seems to remind people of Halloween is the Black Cat. Often seen as a familiar for a witch, the black cats can be regarded as bad luck... Personally, I WANT ONE Lol!
HellBone won't let me have one, SO I made my own LOL... ME! He can't tell me no lol... The reason I decided that I wanted to be a black kitty cat, aside from the fact that Hell can't tell me no this way, was that I wanted to wear this cute hoodie hehe... The hoodie was one that I bought a while ago from AMERIE, at a past event, and I LOVE the cute ears and large hood which you can fit lots of different hair styles into! I kept the kitty theme by wearing my favourite new collar from ginchi, but I realised that I had a bit of an issue as the hoodie was so open hehe... Pulling on a noldie but classic from Crazy, I was missing just one thing! SOCKS! Unfortunately as I pulled socks up - also from AMERIE by the way - my huge claws slipped through the thin fabric... BUGGER but hey cool enough to wear right hehe...

Horror Stories are just fairy tales bottled up in a dark veneer... Many fairy tales are sparkled up anyway to make them seem prettier and more child friendly, but if you read them in their original state, it can be a blurred line to see where fairy tales and horror stories divide! This time of year the horrors seem to be taking over, but I'd been shopping - as I seem to do almost all of my free time LOL - and at a fantasy gacha event called The Gathering, I found the most amazing socks so the fairy tale in me took over hehe!
Yes my whole look is inspired by socks LOL... Although the fact that I am a pretty fairy was totally due to my mood hehe... I wanted to be evil, I truly did but somehow ended up as a naughty and kinda cheeky looking fairy! Let me pull your attention back to the EPIC SOCKS!!! These are a creation of Death Row Designer - Jaimy Hancroft - and as soon as I saw them I HAD to have some! As I have said, they are available in a gacha at The Gathering, and can be won as items to make up a fairy outfit in 4 different colours. I wanted the Black and White pair, purple so isn't my usual colour BUT these do look pretty EPIC! At the same time, and from the same machine, I won these pretty wings too... They are in fact from different colour outfits, but to be honest that's part of the good of this machine, unless you want one specific you can mix and match the looks! The rest of the outfit just fell into place around my socks and wings... Normally I HATE working from an accessory and creating an outfit, but the wings seems to know exactly which set of lingerie I had - the Ruffle Lingerie from Bowtique by the way - that would match colour wise, and then even the Mist Flower from Distorted Dreams seemed to kamakazee throw itself at me!! It all just seemed to be so cute together, I couldn't waste an opportunity like that LOL!!! I have mentioned in the past about an event called The Witching Hour, but I haven't really focused on it too much until recently. Created by the same team that run Horror Haute, this event is a monthly Gacha affair, with a number of designers setting items into the seductive gacha machines... I am both addicted to, and perturbed by, gacha machines, especially when I want something specific from the contents... One of the Witching Hour designers, sent a photo through group of bloggers and asked us to contact her for reviews - fair enough as it means coverage will happen! - and when I opened the picture I was like "I NEED TO PLAY IN THAT OUTFIT!!!" Luckily she agreed to let me have one LOL, and so play I did!!!
The Sorceress Gown and Staff in this bright citrine colour are one of a set of colours that you can win from the Stargazer Creations gacha. The Dress is ultra rare and the Staff rare, but the colours of these items are all so gorgeous you will be making grabby hands just to get them! Of course there are other awesome things to grab at the Witching Hour this month too... These AMAZINGLY EPIC horns from The Stringer Mausoleum are a good example of that, as well as the Self Stirring Cauldron from Brick-a-Brack. I also wanted to include a close-up look at the outfit, purely because of the choker that you cannot see in the main photo... This is part of a gorgeous set called Magick from Cyrious, which you could also win yourself at the Witching Hour! I then took the opportunity to introduce you to one of my new little friends!! MishMish is involved in a soon to start - on October 15th to be exact - event called Trunk and Treat, for this event they've created some adorable little Candlelish friends, that can either hover along with you, be carried and will even follow you!

The Gators MC tends to focus mainly on bikes, rides and generally being silly and laughing at each other. Yet as with a few people I know, Halloween is a favourite time of the year for many of us, and we wanted to do something special to celebrate it. Last year we had a Haunted Halloween Maze... This year we are doing it again, BUT BIGGER!!
Of course the opening, which happened yesterday, was just another HUGE excuse for a party, and boy did we fill the sim and scare the pants off people!!! The MC were all in costume, running through the maze and jumping out of dark corners on unsuspecting explorers. HellBone and Jimmy spent a long time building it, the MC all gave plenty of ideas and so it's such a mixture of things there is bound to be something to creep you out!
Costumes were a must at the party though, and I had to find something to wear in about 10 minutes - an unprecedented short time for me by the way - but I managed it all due to the fact that the new skirt and corset I'd bought seemed to match and an outfit fell into place... YAY I LOVE WHEN THAT HAPPENS. The outfit was due to the corset that I'd recently purchased from drbc at the latest round of Suicide Dollz and a Lavina skirt from MUKA that I simply had to have from The Big Show. The rest of it was just window dressings hehe... I pulled on a pair of new Heathenesque Satyr horns and a facial decoration from The Forge before decking myself out in an old by favourite skin, pair of eyes, bloody coating and some gorgeous jewellery... I've been working on some pretty macabre things lately, I guess it's the time of year and I am really not complaining, but I needed something with a little sparkle... Random I know, but hey that's just how I roll LOL... Luckily as I was browsing through events, and stuff that I had been sent to blog, I stumbled upon Candy Fair 2014... Bright colours, cuteness and sparkles filled the air, and I'm sure if we had smell-o-vision style SL then you could smell something that was akin to a sweet factory! It was just what I needed...
Luckily Iokko Molko - designer of awesomeness that is yumyums - had sent her bloggers a bumper pack of all things yumyums from the Candy Fair... There was a lot for me to choose from and boy did it help with my need for cute! I even wore pink... Don't be too shocked - Pink is evil after all - but yes Rudh in pink!! I'll tell you all about my outfit, and think I should start from the yumyums and work on from there... SO to the skin... This is the Brias skin in Sparkle Queen, there are two different skins available at Candy Fair but I have to admit this was my favourite because the colours are so bright! I'm also wearing a Frosting Crop Top, in a strawberry colour, of which there are 5 or 6 different colours available! The top says I'm "Sweet", it wouldn't lie would it? Lastly, from yumyums, if you head into the middle of the event there is a gacha garden, and hidden within one of the machines is a collection of ice creams and candy, or if you are really lucky you could win a carrier, just like the Quater Cone Queen Carrier I'm wearing! I wasn't only going to rave about the yumyums Candy Fair items though, I had two more totally adorable things to share! First being my hair! Ploom created the Lollipop Girl style, complete with lollipop accessories. I had a bit of a dilemma in choosing the colour I wanted, luckily a fairy stepped in to help me make that choice, but I couldn't walk away from the style it was just way too adorable! I also grabbed this amazing Candy Crusher giant lollipop from the BOOM gacha, because well who doesn't wanna use a giant lollipop as a weapon?! The last thing that I want to mention to you is another gacha item but from somewhere completely different hehe... I spotted the collar - a ginchi creation - in a gacha at the SLGBTA Halloween Gacha Spooktacular and well I LOVE jingle bells... I now have the colour in a myriad of colours hehe!! GUESS WHO IS BACK?!! I'll give you one guess... It isn't very hard to guess LOL... That's right! ME!!! Didya miss me? No? I am so glad to be back, and although I loved every second of my time away, being back here and getting to grips with my addiction again is AWESOMESAUCE! I have so many pretty things to share with you... Some depraved and evil, some pretty and candylicious and a fair few dressed up looks this month I'm sure!
This picture for example is one of a few that may well spill out of the contents of the Horror Haute organised "Death Becomes Her" Event... The Death Becomes Her Event is a special event from my favourite macabre team, and I will happily admit that it seems to be a rather exciting shopping experience. Anything you buy from the DBH - because it was getting too much for lazy me to keep re-typing the event's name everytime - line-up will earn you a special token. This can be used during a special hunt in the DBH maze... You hunt for a prize created by that store! It sounds complicated, but trust me, it will make sense when you read the details and then you will recieve all the LMs you need to get there too!! For now though let's talk about the outfit shall we... I went for a kinda girlie but dead look, sounds a bit typical for me now! Though I will admit that the Horror Haute thing always drags out my living dead girlie side... The dress comes from abrasive, called Already Dead, and I had to team it with a dark coloured skirt. I made that pretty ballerina look complete using the shoes from the ImmateriA "Livide Ballet" outfit - the outfit is white, as are the ballet pumps but there are a few different colours of skin tone too and I got lucky and found my perfect colour fit! The for the BLOOD!!! Can't have Horror Haute without Blood! My Ama blood splatters were very needed, but to give that death feeling I hung myself with a balloon from Laudnum Lollipops, ironically called "Ironic Fate". One of my favourite things from the event is the SongBird Mask of the Dead, with it's skin covered hand held mask and it's bloody wound in the face where the mask has been ripped away... So perfect for a Death Becomes Her look!

Horror Haute is here YAY!!! Though I think this month I am only likely to be able to bring you one look, because as of this afternoon I AM GOING HOME FOR A VISIT!!! It will be awesome not worrying about anything... I won't be here for a week, but never fear dear readers I will be back hehe... ANYWAY, Horror Haute... Now you might remember that they have started a new thing with the event... Each month the items on offer will be part of a different theme! This month's theme is Dead Space! Now, I will admit that I was actually REALLY scared by this theme... I can admit that I am more than a little scared of aliens - some people don't like spiders, others clowns, for me aliens are the worst - and so when I saw the theme I had to make Hell check there was nothing being sent that would make me have a heart attack! He said there is one item - a bouncy ball from La Maison Des Corbeaux apparently - that is alien themed and awesome, but aside from that most of the goodies seem to be a little more cyber goth than aliens... I breathed a sigh of relief LOL...
Anyway, this Horror Haute lead to the birth of Rudh the robot dolly... Brought to life in a Pod from Squeek, this dolly was made up of all of the latest parts! This particular robot dolly model is wearing the ImmateriA Dead Space look... She comes complete with dress, eyes and cyborg leg attachment. Skins, accessories and Hair are fully interchangeable! I have spent the last few weeks slowly, bit by bit, working through my hoard and trying to reduce it in size... Some older - ancient you might call them - items have been kept for posterity in a collection of time capsule style items, but a LOT of stuff has been disposed of... I haven't even started on my objects folder, I'm procrastinating on that one LOL... BUT I have been finding one or two hidden gems that I couldn't wait to play around in! One of those kinda finds was the one that inspired me to dress akin to Arial in the Little Mermaid, and run around at a place called The Black Spot Pirate Cove! That was until there was a little Accident!?!!
She had to pick up her shell phone and make a call home to King Triton... "Daddy, I came up on land, went joy riding on a boat and wrecked it, can you come and pick me up?" Sometimes my mind seems to run away with me, but this outfit was one of the most fun outfits I'd not even unpacked, laying dormant in my hoard. The outfit itself was a hunt prize that I had spotted aeons ago from a store called KnocKeRs - a store creating rockabilly for ladies with the larger nungas, although as you can see they fit the itty bitty titty brigade well too! I accessorised my little mermaid based look with a Starfish Beaded Headband from Rotten Defiance, worn of course with some flowing long red hair - this time courtesy of Magika. Her necklace is another find in her hoard from [ glow ] Studio, and it seemed to fit the Ariel style, as did the Fork Bangle from AngelsDemons! My last little find was this simply awesome purse from [HANDverk] that I had totally forgotten I spent ages, and a small fortune, on trying to win in a gacha at a past Arcade!! So perfect to finish off Ariel's night out look! Shame her night ended so badly LOL!

ImmateriA's owner, Naenia Demina, is on a roll with making some amazingly gorgeously, beautiful, jewellery pieces at the moment. Her recent releases for the Witching Hour are some of my favourite things that she has made to date, and I always rave about how much I love the creativity behind her designs. For the Witching Hour this time, the necklaces in the gacha machine would have driven me crazy if I had been trying to win them!
This is the Yggdrasil Choker in Gold - which is a rare, but there are a few variations of the necklace... My favourite being a spidery design called Tamsin, which is SO going to be a part of my Halloween look this year! I mean I think, I haven't actually organised it yet?! The rest of my look was put together purely and simply to show off the pretty that is the necklace! I found this pretty hood - called A Winter's Night Cowl - that perfectly matched a dress - called M'lady - both of which I had won from the store Junbug from a gacha. The two other items of jewellery that I added to my mystical look were an older but still cute Stellar piercing from Cute Poison and a brand new release from Arise called the Chess Septum Piercing, that you can pick up for 55L at Fi*Fridays!
