The Fight of Angels

A day off, a chance to relax and let myself drift off into a fantasy word, where the monsters no longer hide in the shadows and the light in me feels strong enough to force itself to fight for it's happiness... I've been deaing with a lot of stress, wishing that things would improve in my family life, my work life and with my health... I'm fighting to get through the pain at the moment and hoping my grandmother keeps fighting... 

Angels fighting the chains that bind them... Chains that control my health - my pain level is high at the moment and I'm suffering due to being  girl! My grandmother has been in the hopsital over a month, she was moved to a recovery center and promptly moved back because she keeps fainting, so the angels are fighting to guide her through this. I've got to deal with issues of problem coleagues at work, and I am desperate to go home for Christmas... May the angels break free frrom these changes and kick some problematic butt... All while looking ethereal and dangerous...

Wandering in Wonderland

 Brain is a fuzzy place right now and I don't know how to correct it... I guess I need to give it a few days and let my mind calm down! I guess though while I'm going through that I will let my mind slip away to somewhere happy, so that I don't have to think about real life.. Maybe I'll take a trip to join my friend Alice, in her special place... Today I think I'll head to Wonderland... 

Wonderland hasn't been the same since Alice took over, but I'm not sure it's worse than it was with the Queen of Hearts having control... The cute little animals are still there, like the White Rabbit and even the rare forest glass creature... 
Ensuring that she has a bottle of Drink Me Potion to help herself with the bigger/smaller transformations, she headed through the eye garden gate and out into Wonderland... What will she find in wonderland? Maybe there will be more cakes at a tea party, she'd like to let go and celebrate an Unbirthday or two...

She's not a Skater Girl...

Today I'm in a kinda "Fuck Off"mood... I am tired and sore, and the best part is that I feel like I'm coming down with a cold. I have a terribly sore throat and feel really sleepy! It's not a fun feeling, although it does explain why I'm not my usual perky happy self! I hate colds but when the world is starting to warm up and we're heading into Summer, it seems much much worse, I hate being too hot and stuffed full of snot LOL... 
Today Rudh is joining in on my mood... She's skateboarding to the metro station and from there saying "Fuck this I'm off to Spanky's"... 

I say Spanky's because he's one of my MC Brothers, that is living in New York LOL, and this Pseudo Subway entrance seems to be somewhere in New York.
This little "Queen of Anarchy" - not getting big headed it's the name of the outfit I'm wearing from Eclipse Design at Shiny Shabby LOL - is NOT so good at Skate Boarding, hence the bloody knees!

Rally to Rescue the Pitbulls

Sunday Morning, the sun is shining, and I'm thinking that I'll start today with a coffee and then perhaps a LONG walk in the park with my doggie... I know that tomorrow it's going to be back to reality, talking to lawyers and dealing with RL issues, but for now... AHHHHHH Relaxing time! 
Walking in Second Life seems to be something that I actually enjoy doing at the moment too... Sounds a bit weird, but it's such an amazing way to explore the beautiful sims that people spend so long creating, so just like in RL I grab a fluffy friend and head out for a walk to explore... 

A gorgeous location to explore - if you haven't been there already - is Fall Trace, a gorgeous wetland area, with lots of little places to just sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet!
Today I have a new friend to walk with me, well I say today but I've actually had him for a while now it's just the first time that he's coming out to play... He's a little Pitbull from Psycho.Byts. 
These puppies have been released in 5 different fur colours by Psycho.Byts at the Rally to Rescue event being hosted by the Ghost Bullys MC. Each puppy comes in two different hold poses and a static sit pose. 
The puppies, along with some cute designs by 35 other designers will be available until March 20th at Rally to Rescue, with all proceeds going to support Animal Rescues!
Pitbulls have been given a bad reputation by society, but it's not the fault of the dogs it's a fault of a minority of people that claim their ownership... Let's not let these poor, innocent animals suffer, head on over to the event today and help raise money for a worthy cause... You never know, you like me may find yourself a new friend to walk with!!!

Did someone call the Steampunk Doctor?

Certain genre styles have always been a bit of a mystery to me, I cannot seem to work out how to make them work, if you understand my meaning. I've tried to dress my dolly in other styles - I even tried an urban street style once and cracked myself up so hard that I had to change again hehe - but one of those styles I never get quite right is Steampunk!
It shouldn't be hard, it's Victorian Gothic mixed with the Industrial theme of the historical period. I tend to buy a lot of clothing in a similar style anyway, but I guess I just combine my look differently?!
Still this time I think I have hit the nail on the head... Is there anyone out there that can tell me honestly?

The look was started all because of a romper suit from ImmateriA... Seriously Naenia likes to make me test myself, thank you for that Nae hehe... The outfit itself is called Agatha Sprockette, it includes the headband with it's adorable light bulb shaped wire decoration, and you can grab this look now from the current round of The Instruments. I teamed the outfit with a simple, and yet very well matched although I don't think that it was intentional, pair of boots from lassitude & ennui. These are available in various colours from the Birthday round of We <3 RP... Happy Birthday We <3 RP!!
Though, as per usual, it was the accessories that I went to town on... I just hope they work well with the theme, and that they haven't made it a little confusing hehe...
The accessories kinda gave the look a strange doctorish twist, like something from an evil movie, as I hid behind a Hell Mask from the [BODY FACTORY], whilst clutching my new doctors style bag from nefarious inventions - which you can grab for yourself at The Dark Style Fair 2... I don't normally buy bags in SL, I am an advocate of collecting them in RL but for some reason in SL they have just never been on my radar, then I saw this one... I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. I HAD TO HAVE IT. NOTHING WOULD STOP ME lol... I even fought lag for this bag... Shows dedication right?!
I wore not one but three necklaces with this look too... Get me I am so cool wearing more than one right lol... I had a choker from Kibitz, a Key Necklace from DRD and even a Tag from 7mad;Ravens - all of which I would happily say are some of my go-to stores for things - just to mark that I was a Beast. Possibly akin to Mr Hyde?!
Last but by no means least, the monster in me needed a familiar... I searched high and low for something that seemed even a little monsterous, and found the perfect thing... At Oneword this month, you can find yourself in the darkness, the most adorable little iBat - you need to check The Horror booth but it's there - and how can you resist something with such pretty eye?!

Follow the Wooden Stump Road...

The Arcade - unless you have been completely oblivious and have no idea what I am talking about, you may have noticed - is well underway... Up and running for the entire month of March... As always, it seems pretty brilliant and an understandable reason why people get so excited about it each and every time! It's like a feeding frenzy in a shark tank! It could have been handy for people looking to get interesting birthday gifts for me too - just sayin' lol - if I hadn't already been in and raided the place myself!
I LOVED collecting things for my little play house... This place takes me away to somewhere peaceful, somewhere fun and somewhere that I can just escape to play! So while I was setting out my new toys, I had a feeling that made me giggle, it was something akin to Dorothy's feelings as she arrived in Oz... I spend most of my time surrounded by bikers, this was a bit of "you're setting out cute toys, this seems totally opposite to normal" moment LOL...

As you can see though the entrance to my garden follows a wooden stump path - thanks to Alchemy by the way - that directs you towards my toy house! My garden has now been decorated with some awesome Lego style plastic looking flowers too. I know these aren't to everyone's taste but I couldn't resist the [tea.s] Block-ee Flowers. The inhabitants of this adorable place are plushie animals! They float in the breeze attached to balloons - such as the Fly Away Bear from Boogers - and are Petal Pals to the flowers - available from Intrigue Co at The Arcade - each smiling and giving a warm welcome to anyone who visits! 
Whilst on my trip to this strange land, something rather weird happened to my dog! What started out as a perfectly normal looking Weenie Dog - bought just a few days ago from the SilentSparrow Pet Store, found at The Arcade - in our travel to this new found land he somehow became a Weenie Weenie Dog!
On my feet were a Rudhish style pair of "Ruby Slippers" - they'd be better described as Tropicano Heels in a bright magenta colour - from Bens Beauty, now off to skip down the wooden stump road!

So to the rest of my awesome "Not Kansas Anymore" outfit... Some of it is new, some old but I think the combination is just the right amount of kookie!
The dress I am wearing is one of the older things, but it's been stored neatly away until I can find it for a moment like this. It's a Somnia release called City Scape - in a Day pattern, there is also a Night version to match, and it comes with cloudy leggings.
Then I went to town with my accessories... The horns on my head were made of Pinkberry Ice Cream - that are available from Riske at the Luck of the Irish Gacha Fair - my lips are slicked with green lipstick and dusted with sprinkles, I knew I shouldn´t have made out with that donut -  but thanks to Babysteps for letting cover their Skin Fair Release, the Baby Butter Lips! There is yet MORE yummies in the form of my (Yummy) Spec-tacular Edible Specs...
The only other thing that I took with me is a basket that I found when I landed, you never know when things like that might come in useful... You see it did with me, I found two Wonderland Pixicat Kittens that needed my help, I couldn't have taken them with me without the basket...

Demons on the Desk of Mr Winchester!

Some of you may have heard but others may not, so I will tell you all again... My Hubby - HellBone Barbosa - is a vehicle maker in SL... He creates vehicles of all different kinds from bikes, to cars to random you'd not even think that would move kinda vehicles, and some of his creations are even based on - as fan replicas - some of the more famous vehicles...
One of the famous vehicles that HellBone has worked on is the Metallicar - from the TV Series Supernatural, and recently it was this vehicle and it's new update that brought us into contact with a Supernatural Super Fan... I mean OK I thought I was a fan, I thought my sister Fledge was a fan, but Adelphus definitely out fan-geeks us on that score, and I mean that in the nicest possible way!!
She in SL, has a store dedicated to all things Supernatural... I think the only thing that she doesn't actually have coming out of her creative SPN store is the Winchesters themselves!

Whilst her and HellBone were discussing the Metallicar he'd been working on, he mentioned I was a fan of the show and she being very sweet sent me a gift that will soon be available through her marketplace store... I had to share it with you, it's too cute to not too... Dean, Sam and some of the other SPN cast as Hello Kitty's latest friends!!! How freaking cute! I chose to wear the Sam shirt, because well I am always going to choose Sam over any of the others, he's my favourite Celeb man candy! - I even wore special yellow eyes just for him. There is a handful of SPN characters to choose from though, so you need not worry about picking just one! You can take your pick from shirts shown below, but I wanted to also point out the Sticky Note... This is another creation from Adelphus's store KAZ2Y5!

Color Me White?!

So now it's time to talk colours again... The Color Me Poject has started once again, and boy this time there are a LOT of pretty shoes... Maybe my next post will just be shoes?! 
The colour this time is, although I don't tend to wear a lot of it, a fairly useful and easy one to keep a collection of. You never know when this colour will come in handy, and it is, a very hand colour to have for any look! I'm talking about White! White like black is one of those colours that works well with a lot of different colours. This time I'm rocking  pastel and white look, next time, who knows it could be monochromes or even electrics! 

The White Look that I chose to share today is all because of a dress that I would NEVER in a million years have thought about buying, but actually once I had it on, and had dressed it up, it suited me so well in it's kookiness that I wasn't going to just forget about it!
The dress in question is one for the Color Me Project from Jinx. Called Amelia - a nickname my friends in RL used to give me if I was being a moody cow - it is everything girlie that I would never normally be seen dead in... Frills, pastel butterflies and then white on top of that, I'd normally shy away from a dress like this, but I think in this look it works for me! I teamed it with a pair of sky high platform heel boots, called Kirsten from VG Shoes, and then added some Rudhish style accessories in the form of this HUGE Pastel Wig from Blues adorned with a Hair Rose that comes from the Mag<3.B. Pink My Babe Outfit and a pretty pearl necklace from Odelitte.
The other thing that should have honourable mention is this AWESOME War-Ready ILO Bear from yumyums. Now these were made for the just closed Creepy Kawaii fair, but Iokko has had ILO bears in her collection for almost as long as she has had a store. I still have the mark 1 - i-loo - style from way back when yumyums was known as Sugar. No matter the colour these come in, I LOVE THEM... Always have and always will... These are one of my favourite toys in my SL hoard!!! 
OH just a little peek at my Picnic too... I will no doubt have a close-up look at this soon, but for now, tea?

Welcome to the Circus Freakshow...

So many awesome events have just started up again in SL - those bi-weeklies and soon the new round of monthlies will join them - I have been like a kid in a candy store and have spent a lot of monies LOL... 
Some of my favourite events are the Macabre ones, as you might well have guessed... I am addicted to the Suicide Dollz and this new CarnEvil event seems pretty cool too - not to mention Horror Haute, which I will be drenching you with very soon hehe - I can never resist taking time from the busy MC life to head over and grab a handful of the pretties from these events... 

Sometimes I even stop to play a while! I was in a very Circus Freak style mood today, and the outfit that I was wearing seemed PERFECT for the part! The sun was setting over the CarnEvil Circus... The music was beginning to play, and the freak show acts were getting ready... Now, it's just time for me to take my place! 
The outfit itself looks like a jumpsuit, but it is in fact a top and shirt combination from [ abrasive ] - that you can grab yourself at Suicide Dollz for just a little longer - the shorts come in a variety of different colours and the top is just CUTE - perfect for a Living Dead Dolly if you ask me! 
As per usual though it was the Accessories that I went to town on... 
Let's start at the CarnEvil seeing as I used it for a place to pose! I found some new awesome knee wounds from A*S, as well as the amazingly cute Spooky Necklace from Cute Poison. I strapped my legs in two different ways, the right one being an awesome tattoo from PerveTTe - which is available now at Cosmopolitan - and the left being a MUKA Burlesque Bow that I bought at a Burlesque themed event recently. I wore a collar and cuffs from yumyums too... These are ADORABLE! Perfect for any cute little pet you might have or want in the future! Trust me I've already had one Dom say to me "Oh you look good in a collar" LOL! Still more jewellery to come though, hold your horses LOL... I found a ring set that I'd just bought at Cosmopolitan from the store 9ty, a pretty boho set, that although wasn't a perfect match for the rest of my jewellery, picked out some of the colours of my insides that you can see through the corset zipper, and matched well with the tiny gemstone heart of my ANE Bony Heart Necklace - from the latest round of Kustom9. For a better look at all of my jewellery accessories, I've included a separate look-see photo below... 
If that wasn't enough new and awesome stuff, I also fell in love with the new Dulce hair by Truth, with it's pretty pulled back style and soft long curls... PERFECT for the spring, don't you think?

Come to the Creepy Carnival?!

Some people have an fear of the circus, not because of the circus itself but because of something - or should that be someone - you'd see there... I never really liked them all that much, and would purposely avoid any that I ever had the displeasure of seeing face to face, but in truth Clowns have never been the stuff of my nightmares! I can see why people don't like them, and as I said I don't actively have anything to do with them if I can, but according to Sam Winchester "apparently clowns kill", and as we all well know, if it's said on the TV then it MUST be true LOL... 
Seems though that I have NO PROBLEM dressing Rudh up as some for of creepy carnie or another, being honest with you normal clowns are the ones that freak me most, anything that looks evil I know is fairytale... If that makes any sense what-so-ever?!

My dark and macabre side is often attracted to the bright colours of the Carnival... I had been out shopping on two separate occasions with two of my bestest peoples, and the attraction of the Circus pulled me to the dark side... So of course, me being me I HAD to make a dark carnie costume LOL... 
Starting with my look, and PLEASE don't ask me why I was drawn to pink LOL I don't know! The hair is a pretty one, with it's cute and curly base, from Ploom that you can win yourself from a gacha at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival. You may see this a LOT, I have it in every colour now because I wanted a red version and couldn't get one LOL... I went with pink dipped dyes in the end because I just couldn't resist this old but still pretty Leri Miles Designs body suit! The necklace is one that seemed to fit perfectly with the look I was creating, but I will admit this is actually an older release too - I hope these things are still available! It's a necklace called Archaic from Cute Poison, who not only make the best piercings in SL - in my opinion - but also make other pretty adornments, just like this one! Then came the time to put on my carnie girl make-up... I went for a Dark Circus look, from A*S, that you can pick up now at Cirque De Seraphim! 
While on the subject of Cirque De Seraphim, I should actually start talking about my little circus friends! Eli the Elephant, in a gray version, can be picked up from the Silentsparrow booth at the Cirque, and even though I had such a hard time choosing between the colours, the fact that I can change her clothes is AWESOME! Lastly, but by no means least, the super cute little Ghost Clown Dolly from Katat0nik... I had to play the machine A LOT for this one - stupid gachas LOL - but to make it even worse Jimmy wanted one too LOL *facepalms*... ISN'T SHE CUTE THOUGH?! Go get your own at the Xiasumi School Festival before they run back to hide at the mainstore, just be aware, they are in the haunted area... Keep checking over your shoulder people hehe...
