Brollies for Spring Showers

The weather has been beautiful in the Netherlands, we've had lots and lots of Spring Sunshine and it's been fairly mild, but it seems like right now that might be on the turn. There is a definite chill in the air tonight and it looks like it is about to start raining, so if you're heading out tonight remember to take an umbrella... 

I'd finally managed to find myself the perfect outfit to wear out for a casual trip to the movies tonight and as I was about to dash out the front door as I was running late like usual, the sky opened up and the rain started bucketing down... I wasn't willing to trade in my cute little leather jacket for something bigger and potentially drier, but luckily we keep a collection of rainbow brollies in our Umbrella Stand - from Junk Food - handy by the door... This time choosing a happily colourful yellow "Rainy Umbrella"- which is also available from Junk Food until May 10th at N21 - slipping out of my home hall - a backdrop from Paparazzi - and out into the neighbourhood and the seasonal Spring Showers - a pose set from -Extra- which comes with umbrella's for each of the poses...

December 1st... Let It Snow!

The first day of December and now it can finally begin to look a little bit like Christmas... I'm going to start letting myself get all into the Chrismas spirit. There will be snow everywhere, pretty decorations and plenty of delicious foods, I mean I could get those things in RL, but for some reason I want to fill my Second Life with them too... Maybe it's a good way to take my mind off the sad fact I can't see my family before the festivities... 

Standing at the station in SL with my suitcases seems to be something that was a wishful thought... I keep thinking back to wanting to be on my way home. I guess that the snow makes it all feel better in bringing my smile, that or the fact that while waiting at the station I found a cellphone that was decorated with Santa's face.... A message on the screen read "type your message to leave a Christmas Wish", I couldn't resist, you never know maybe it's a direct line to the fat man in red!!!

When the Light goes out...

Today has been a nightmare and it got to the point where I felt like I wanted to just run away and hide in the dark.. People everywhere and all of them demanding my attention all at once, I swear I can still hear all of their voices in my head. Now that I'm home, I'm wanting to hide in the dark... 
The little Demon in me is taking charge of my mind, wanting to enjoy this little nightmare... That was until the light appeared through the window at the end of the hall, and blew out my little light in the dark... 

I was left holding the candle - available from random.Matter - that had been blown out as the light appeared, and I was left in an eerily weird half-dark... 
She's such a cute little demon... With her Lucy Demon "Dazed" horns and forked tongue, and the extra set of Watcher Eyes in her forehead and down her "Neverwish" horns...

Ready to Fight...

 The whole of the Netherlands has from today gone into a new lock down. It´s something that has been on the cards for a long time, with the partial lockdown having already seen bars and restaurants closed for a while, but today was officially the first day that it's been an official thing. 
Yet, I'm more than a little frustrated because apparently even though our little shop is considered prestige and luxury - and very much non-essential - but as it's food stuff that we sell, we're going to be staying open. I'm not overly happy about this decision, but I have to go and I will be procecting myself as best I can... 

OK, Maybe I'd be doing it a little diffierently to the way Rudh decided to protect herself, but I'm definitely not willing to take any risks and will be doing everything I can to keep myself safe and Covid free.. 
Rudh decided to go maskless but as her protection she's taken a baseball bat and will be exacting some Road Warrior justice. Keeping her hands protected in a pair of gloves that are perfect for the Riot Kidz- created by PSYCHO.Byts. 
Bring on anyone that cannot social distance now, I'm ready for them...

Ice-Cream for the Fairies

OK I know that it's nearly Halloween but I decided to have a little change today and do something super cute and fairyful, just because I'd been doing some digging around in my inventory and found some pretty fairy Ice-Cream that had to be shared with my friends in the Lost Unicorn Forest!

I LOVE FAIRY ICE-CREAM!!! It's made in the Flower Garden by LovelyAlien and the gacha collection that includes separate ice creams and lollies as well as the rare vendor! It's so pretty, and it's very popular with all my gorgeous little fairy friends - Fairies from MishMish available now at Kustom9.
