The Demon Nun

I know that I've been in a funk for the past few days, but you can tell that I've kinda started feeling better since I decided to do something a little, dark and twisted and that's usually a good sign my mood is improving. After all, I only do the things I love when I'm feeling happier... People might think of the dark and moody with just a hint of gore isn't all that happy, but it's my happy place and I hope that you can accept that! 
The Demonness in me decided to try and learn something new, maybe I'm inspired by the show I'm watching talking about the Bible, but I think that Sunday School has changed, and I have found myself in a bloody mess... 

To sneak into the Sunday School, the little demonness in me managed to find a costume like a veil and headpiece - from DAMI and the Agnes Look Collection - although the Anti-Collar - from Tardfish at Fetish Fair - with it's upside down cross might just give her away as not being as nun-like as she might want you to think... It might also be one of the main reasons why the other nuns had ganged together and forced the Stake into her chest!

Trouble with Orders...

It's Friday, and I'm finally able to unwind a little after a busy few days in my RL, but part of me just feels like hiding away and the thought of being sociable just makes it worse. Ever have days like that?! I'm feeling so much like I don't want to so anything today, I think it will be a lazy night when it comes to dinner too! I'm going to be a lazy bum and order some pizza... Pizza sounds like a VERY good idea... 

Everyone has their favourite pizza take-out, don't they? For me if I'm being lazy and ordering pizza it's Papa Johns! I called and placed my order but now I have to wait... 
While I'm waiting it's gotten me a little inspired, I have this vision of a cute little me running around making fresh pizza, but knowing my clumsy luck I'd end up dropping it on the floor as I reached for something else...

Oh no Kitty, the Phone is Out of Order...

It's at that point for me where I've been working very hard as of late, and only have a week to go before I am able to say that I will be heading back to my homeland for some much needed time with the RL family... My countdown has started and from Sunday it's just one week to go before I head to the UK!! I really need a battery recharge... Really Really Really!! 
So in SL I'm trying to keep my chin up, and I'm finding myself flocking to anything English to make myself feel a little less homesick... Though right now I'm not sure this phone booth would allow me to call home... 

I don't know how people coped before the internet and good phone service to live in distant lands, I get so home sick and I'm lucky to be able to pick up a phone or video chat with my parents any time I want to... It would probably kill me if I couldn't do that! 
At Rosa Scotia - a gorgeous sim with lots of pretty places to explore - I wanted to make a call home, but it seems like the phone was out of service. Luckily, while I was upset there was a pretty little kitty that wanted attention and needed cuddles too - thanks to an awesome new pose collection from Secret Poses called Annie. The Annie pose set made me laugh as it features cats and my RL cat is called Anna, though she's often Annie when we're trying to get her to come to us... I had to play with Annie in world! 
Funny how a kitty, or a puppy or any animal for that matter, always has the ability to distract you from feeling sad!!

The Demon Awakens...

I'm having one of those weeks at the moment, depression and anxiety seems to be getting the better of me. I'm sorry to put that out there but it's not something I'm hiding anymore, please bear with me and if you see me online please feel free to send me hugs. Hugs always seem to help, me at least!
Tonight though, I'm being dragged out of my normal routine to go to a concert with my hubby. It's a birthday present for him, we're going to see the band Ghost. A band of nameless ghouls lead by a Pope like figure in Papa Emeritus. So tonight the inner demon in me will be released, she's finally waking up... 

Demons are just as bad at waking up as humans it seems... She gets up and wanders around her room looking a little pissed but still clinging to her teddy bear. Not ashamed to admit I still have a teddy bear at all by the way! 
She needs to get her scars tended to, the healing process a little slower as she's not yet awake, but it looks like she had some fun while out in her jammies last night. Her nightgown is one from DAMI - it comes complete with the cute bear and in a range of colours, some with and some without blood. 
The possession is strong with this girl, I just hope that Papa Emeritus can help with all those hail mary's she's gonna need to say!

A Walk to Remember...

Yesterday I had some bad news in my RL, and consequently spent my time curled up in a ball in RL, crying and unable to function for anything much else. This morning after a night's sleep I feel more responsive but the tears are still coming, so I need to take a few minutes to just breathe and take a time out... Pouring my heart out here in my Pseudo-Journal.
I found out yesterday that someone I grew up with was tragically killed when he was out surfing off the coast of the UK on Sunday. I know I didn't need to share details but it's better to let it out than hold it in, and I hope you can forgive me for that. He was a strong swimmer, and grew up on the sea with a fisherman for a father and a crazy obsession with surfing, but it goes to show just how dangerous mother nature can be, even when you're so far away from her most destructive forces - my heart goes out to those affected by all of the recent torments of mother nature even more at this time.
Yet at my favourite time of year when the part of the world I live in is slowing down and settling into a Winter slumber, I still find myself marvelling at the beauty of it all... 

Taking some time out of RL and the sadness that it's brought me, my family and more importantly the family of my friend, I decided to enjoy some of the lush Autumnal Landscapes that are springing up all over the place at the moment... I cannot get enough of the Autumn - or Fall as some might say - I just love everything about it... The colours, the crisp feeling in the air and even the rain!! 
NonStop is one of those locations that is perfectly Autumn and perfect for a pensive walk with my new buddy, a 'dorable Dane from Jian. After today, he's got a name, he'll be known as Bruce from now on, named for my friend! 
I picked up my new friend Bruce at the current round of the Arcade, and while I was there spotted these AMAZING jeans from DAMI - thank you to my dear sweet puppy Kal for being able to win them for me, you have the magic touch it seems - which I wore with my new favourite sweater from Paperdoll's. The Pellucid Sweaters are available now at Suicide Dollz, but I warn you even though you can see a little hint of nipple, it's actually a little more obvious than I realised hehe... Perfect for a naughty girl in Winter! 
After getting dressed and finding this awesome location to wander through, I needed the perfect pose.
