A Magical Grim Gourmet

A new year is the perfect idea for a fresh start and that means it's a time to move on from things that aren't happy and that means getting rid of things that aren't good for us. I HATE the thought of hurting anyone but sometimes I've just gotta do what's best from me... This isn't aimed at ANYONE in particular, it's not aimed at anything... It's more of a reminder to help me get through things that make me sad... 
I found the perfect way to make me feel better, and getrid of the evidence all at once... 

During a bout of time within the Insomnia Kitchen, I found the perfect solution to any problem I NEEDED to get over. It came to me while I was cooking a chilli, as soon as I opened the spices in the spice rack, a cloud appaeared that started to sparkle and suddenly a magical MadCat - which happens to be an Exclusive available from MadPea at the MadPea Unlimited Sim where you can play 10 immersive adventures including the thrilling new crime adventure "The Naughty List Murders", and I may just see you there hehe - appeared... This MadCat began sharing dangerously devious, but equally practical ideas in ways to get rid of bodies... Soup and Pasta Sauce being the top of his list...It was going to be a very Grim Gourmet - thanks to the adorable outfit from everfaery I'd stay a little cleaner I hope - and I guess that it was lucky I'd been in a bit of a fight and someone had died in a chair right there in my kitchen...

Dark Birds of Halloween

We're getting closer toHalloween and things are getting darker and the spirits are getting more and more restless, they want the festivites to start. They want the festivities to start and they want doors to the spirit world to get closer so that they can release the beasts into the night... 
The Raven's need to have a chance to go out to dance... 

In the darkening of the day, when the twilight starts to fall and the animals start to head to their beds, there are still those in need of food and drink and merriment... The dark and mysterious Lady Crow - an outfit including the tattoo, mask and dress from Fantasy Forest Store - has stepped out of the party within the darkend  halls of the Last Hope Harbour - a backdrop from K&S - to ensure that her carrion bird pets are able to find something for dinner... It was so lucky that one of the locals had used the courtyard as a dumping ground for their murder disposals...

Welcome to Hell...

I want to go on holiday, I want to be able to forget everything and just relax, but for some reason when I was digging through my inventory trying to put a holiday look I somehow stumbled on something a little bonkers... 
It left me wondering what would a holiday for Beetlejuice look like... 

Rudhlejuice - since Beetlejuice is taken - is living the holiday dreams... The Monster Within

It's been another busy day at work... There has been a lot of nonsense from people that seem to think that they know better than me about a subject I deal with on a daily basis, and think they have the answers to questions I answer about a million times per day... It brings out the monster in me. I feel like Dr.Jekyll sometimes, feeling frustrated and as that boils up I have to duck into the office to release Mrs Hyde... I think I prefer the Mrs Hyde version of me sometimes... 

This outfit was something that I had played around with when the Engine Room was around but due to all of the scary looks I've been playing with, Mrs Hyde, who is similar to Frankenstein's Monster in her crazy steampunkish way.

Pleased to Meat You!

I've had a VERY busy day at work today and had to deal with more than my fair share of rude and disgusting customers. Remember people, it's NOT cool to treat people that work in retail like crap - it's not cool in general to treat anyone like crap, but just because someone works in retail doesn't mean they are any less important than you... 
It made me so grumpy, I had to control my anger but sometimes some of those people make me super furious, I was seeing red... I was out for blood, and so to dispose of the bodies that I slaughtered I decided to package them up and sell them to these asshat customers... It became my 11th day of Halloween look... 

The Crimson Room - from NinaX - while the blood was left to drip everywhere from the Fresh Meat - by Lilith's Den and Ghoul - that hung from the meat hooks. She'd take the parts down, cover them with blankets and wait until she was ready to sort the Packaged "Meat" - a gift from Junk Food at Satan Inc - into their different brands, ex-boyfriend, ex-girlfriend, nosy coworker or even the slightly exotic zombie meats... You're welcome to come and purchase some of this delicious fresh meat, pop down to the "Pleased to Meat You!" where I'll wear some of the samples and sell you a delicious slice of ex-boyfriend for my 11th day of Halloween look...

Bloody Murder for Coffee

It's Saturday night, the night before Halloween... I've been busy at work all day and instead of heading out to get my party on, I'm curled up on the couch under a blanket watching scary movies, and snoozing! It has been one of those days where anyone who crossed my path could have found themselves getting murdered - if say I'd been someone like Jason or Michael - but I guess I'll leave that to Rudh and her murderous Halloween rampage... 

Though her murderous rampage would not be the "End of Story"- which by the way is the most amazing backdrop from K&S that I fell in love with - it's just the beginning... She was wandering through the woods as the red sun was rising, it had been a long hard day and night, but suddenly she caught the scent of something really needed... 
A tent was set up, in a cute little campsite - a set created by Violetility & Violation - the campers had made the mistake of making a pot of coffee... Rudh HAD to have the coffee!! Her Cleaver - from lock&tuft - wanted to make sure she got some... The campers didn't make it out alive, but at least Rudh in her super cute "Final Slumber" Pyjamas - from Decoy - was able to get herself a fresh cup of coffee...

What's wrong with the Camp Counsellors?!

Camp Necrosis is officially open, and there is a lot of fun and awesome goodies to be had for the camper seeking a little summer adventure.. Please be warned though, there have been warnings about the camp. There have been warnings that stange things have been seen and heard, and the staff at the camp have been looking a little off since preparations began.. Some say it´s cursed, others say there´s a new guy in charge, but everyone will verify that going to the lake on your own is NOT a good idea... 

Down by the dark lake - which is a backdrop from Synnergy Poses that I have actually used before for a similar kind of famous loction hehe - there has been a strange van parked up at the lake edge. The van is a strange odour coming from it, it reeks of blood and decay, and someone even said that there has been a scttering of body parts and blood dripping from the van's opened door... 
Watch out for the staff, it would seem there is more to them than meets the eye...

Prepping Dinner for Camp Necrosis

It's time for Camp... We're going to Camp Necrosis... There's so much to do before our trip to camp but I've decided to pre- marinade some delicious meat for those campfire barbeques... We could make something really delicious - Burgers or Sausage, the options are endless... The meat is fresh, it's ready for some marinade... 

Hands and legs are best marinated in BBQ flavour, I prefer my head meat to be a little spicy and we're definitely going to be removing the feet because YUCK!!
In my MINIMAL Kitchen, I've prepped the meat - thanks to Lilith's Den at Necrosis - and once it's in the pot I'm going to sit down with a nice cup of tea, from my adorable Zombie Suicide Tea Set and wait till the timer goes off to let me know it's ready!

You'd never guess that it's February and almost Valentines, the way that I'm being more dark and twisted than pretty valentine romace, but meh who needs the flying little wing baby anyway. I am loving being dark and twisted, and isn't Valentines about doing the things that you love hehe... 
Now I heard that more and more people are getting the injection to protect against  Covid, but there are more people that are against it too, it's the injection that will zombify us all, in fact it's your turn to see the Nurse... 

The nurse will see you now... Just watch your step and please pay no mind to the lost souls of Lilith's Den and the Tainted Lovers that seek their lost hearts. Their empty rib cages bared as they attempt to find their lost loves, roaming the halls of the hospital. 
Our dead nurse waits in the corridor shot in her hand, is it a vaccine, or is it something a little more deadly... Are you willing to take the risk? Her crazy red eyes - from Suicidal Unborn - glaring from the dark. Is that due to the blood lust that she's sharing all over her uniform, or could it be something contained within the medicines she seems to be playing with... The Father's Spookshow Medicinal Pills all over her face,seeping the toxins within into her skin. She's already showing signs of being sick... Look at the blush on her cheeks - the blush along with the thermometer is in a Sick Set from [NoRush]. she is taking her temperature but my guess is that it's already too late for her!!

The Shadows Made Me Do It!

Nightmares play a big part of things in the Halloween season, and I'm totally open to most of the Nightmare feelings out there that involved... At least when it comes to monsters and things that go bump in the night, those psychological nightmares are HORRIBLE no matter when you have them! Monsters though BRING IT ON - so long as it's not alien! - The monsters in the shadows cause chaos and bloodshed and it's a wonderful time of year!

Last night sweet innocent little Rudh had just finished her ballet class, when things became a little bit of a Tragic Ballet - it's the gacha collection from 1313 Mockingbird Lane for Salem and this set is AMAZING... I am so in love with the blade ballet shoes! - as the shadows in her room whispered into her ear and persuaded her to remove the Prima Ballerina from the show, so she could be lead dancer! 
Those evil Gdanagla - released from Lilith's Den at Necrosis - were convincing enough that she cut up the other girl, stuffing her in a trunk and carving out parts for it's collection!

Happy Birthday Necrosis!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY - or should that be Anniversary - to the little corner of darkness that is NECROSIS! It's such an honour to be able to say that the way this team has grown and supports each and every member, the way that we're a shady little dark place in the bright colours of SL, and the fact that the masterminds behind it all - Guen Gothly and Asbjorn Raven - have nurtured Necrosis into a pretty awesome little dark corner... So it's time for a little Birthday Party... 

Who doesn't love a good party! I LOVE decorating and making things look pretty, and well it's so easy to make a great location with all of the goodies available at Necrosis. A Shrine to bring about Winter's End

While we're stuck at home, I decided to test my skills at something when it comes to taking pictures... I spend most of my time taking pretty pictures that involve myself in some form or another, and then rarely I try taking pictures of other people. Yet one thing I rarely, if ever, do is set up decorative shots that are without people... I've always felt a little nervous about it, and often swayed myself off of the idea... I decided to give it another shot right with some of the gorgeous Necrosis goodies... 

So while Necrosis is open, and it's theme is all about the Winter's End... I've been a good little dead doll and set up this adorable altar - made from a Outdoor Stone Shrine by Candle & Cauldron, and a Magic Fantasy Pentagram Shrine from Medieval Fantasy - to the spirits of Spring, decorating it with skulls and these amazing Momento Mori Skull Light Strings - from Angelic Designs for Necrosis. I hung a few Twig Charms, and erected a few Ofnusius Totems - both of which are from Lilith's Den at Necrosis - and as I started to walk away and let the shrine work it's magic, some of the magical beings of the forest came to explore their new devotional place... Maybe it will bring about the Winter's End?!

What happened to the Anti-Valentine?!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! It's a holiday that I'm really not a fan on, but sometimes you cannot help but get swept up in the festive feeling. Today I'm all about hearts and romance and soppy cute stuff, even though I tried to be an Anti-Valentine, somehow everything got twisted and there was FAR too much cute stuff covered in adorable little hearts that seemed to follow me everywhere I went! I guess I got struck by one of cupid's arrows or something... I was fully prepared to do something dark and twisted today, but well... This happened... 

You can see I was decorating for something a little dark and macabre, and very Anti-Valentine. These amazing balloons - from Angelic Designs, available as a last day today at Necrosis, were being scattered around liberally to show people how I really feel about Valentines, along with me grabbing a can of "Not Today Cupid" from NOIR. When suddenly these far too cute to be real, little Cupid Bunnies - from MishMish - appeared and started shooting their little heart arrows everywhere. It was like I had a target on my body - from MooLoo -, they seemed to hit again and again - which would be a good horror story really - and the Anti-Valentines me was suddenly filled with a weird desire for hearts and pink!?!

Horror Haute was Simply the Best!

Today is the day... It's the last of the posts that I can share with you for this month's Horror Haute line-up... There are still TONS of things that I've not shown you, but then hey I cannot show you everything as that would possibly ruin a few surprises... You'll have to trust me when I say that these have been my favourites but there are so many things out there that you shouldn't miss!
I've made two simple pictures for this post, so that we ease you out gently and that way hopefully you won't get withdrawl symptoms LOL...

The first is a bit more showy than the second! It's possibly because there was a visit from the Day of the Dead partygoers lol... The head dress is a "Simply the Best" re-release from Lilith's Den for this month's Horror Haute theme, and I simply couldn't resist sharing this as my favourite for the store. I love the little skulls with those HUGE bright flowers - this really sums up Dia de los Muertos for me. I decided to wear the headdress simply, without hair, but with a new release from a store that's Horror Haute but this Sthenno Latex Bodysuit - from ImmateriA - is actually available at The Alchemy this month!
Then for the pose... I decided to use another item from the La Maison des Corbeaux's - LMdC for short - re-releases... This time it was Dia de los Muertos themed to match the outfit I'd chosen! The pouf style stools are a series called My Sugar Skull, each in a different colour with bright patterns over the top... Such a cute item to have in a house of an sugar skull girl!

The last of the Horror Haute Items I am going to share with you this month is the one above... The set of nails are the Dark Passions Koffin Nails in a Monster Movie Madness print... I love that they are printed with the original horror monsters of movies, and I will admit that though I photoshopped to be able to show you all of the designs, it would have been too tough to choose just one print to show you!!
So that's it, Horror Haute is officially open until the beginning of August, and then there will be lots more pretties to come from the new line-up! For now if you haven't checked out Simply the Best then you should, what are you waiting for?!

I Doo Voodoo...

It's a perfectly dark, and mysterious lifestyle to fit perfectly into the Horror Haute event theme, although this isn't always the case and there can be lighter forms of voodoo too...
I mean OK I don't know a lot about Voodoo - other than what Disney's Princess and the Frog, and the Godsmack Voodoo song tell me, which to be frank isn't all that much LOL - but there is such a wealth of information on the internet - some of it more reliable than others - I guess I should do some research before launching into the ramble about Horror Haute's theme this month huh?!
Apparently - and it's lesson time with Rudh lol - Voodoo comes in 4 slightly different forms depending on your location, but it seems that one which is most well known would be the Louisana Voodoo...  It's the one I have associated my Horror Haute stylings with, its the one in which it is believed that Voodoo Dolls originated and as it is Louisiana the swamp vibe I have going on totally fits...
End of lesson for today... Let's talk about HORROR HAUTE MAY!!!

I took a little break to relax in my tree in the swamp whilst I was working on the Voodoo me and thought wow this would work for what I wanted in a photo...
My voodoo look was made up of a layering of skin from [Stargazer Creations], with tattoos from [Gauze], a face and neck tattoo laid over the top from Ama and then a smearing of red lipstick too...
The rest of my outfit and props are items for the Horror Haute this month... The dress and pin jewellery that I am wearing is from Brick-A-Brack, and the props - including the flag, staff and skulls are all releases from Lilith's Den. I'm even smoking a Facepalm Cigar that I stole from the Son of Samdedi!!!
I have my doll out ready though, so who shall I play with for a while, whilst I sort out my next look... OH HELLBONE!?!
