A Trip to the North Pole

Counting down the days till work is done and the Christmas holiday can begin... I'm still no feeling very festive, I can't really get into the mood... What am I going to do? Wha can I do to make things more Christmassy in my head?! I've tried all the things... Eating the goodies, singing the songs, and watching the movies... There's nothing that seems to be working properly... 
Maybe... Just maybe, a  trip to a certain snowy village and a meeting with a man in red, might be a good idea?

I headed on over to The Main Event, where the Snow Daze are getting a little festive... I decided that this was the best place for the meeting I was planning with the big man in red... I even got myself all dressed up to bend in with his workers, yes it was a little deceptive, but do you know how hard it is to get a meeting with the real Santa Clause at this time of year... 
I wore the awesome Falalalala Set - from 1313 Mockingbird Lane at The Arcade - maybe it doesn't match with the other elves... It did however, get me into a meeting with the big man, and he helped me feel better about the Christmas feeling. I sat on his knee and he even let me leave with a special present... A Christmas Bear Plushie - from Kiu - covered in lights...

Monsters Need Donuts and Coffee too

 It is now the week of Halloween and it's going to be crazy and so much fun with all the Halloween madness... It's also the last week that we in the Dark Adventures team will be running the maze for this year, and although it's been as much fun as usual, by this point I'm kinda ready to say goodye to it until next year... 
As we've still got a week to go, I'm going to treat the team to some delicious Pumpkin Spiced Cold Brew and some yummy Punks Dunks... 

It will just be a quick trip to the cafe - at The Main Event - to grab the goodies, which I know could be seen as Junk Food but monsters gotta eat right?! 
The Living Dead Girl me is really excited about the festivities, she's pulled on a super pretty outfit, the gorgeous corset and some new wounds - from Mug - and this week she's going to be getting her party on, but first donuts...

Time to Pick a Pumpkin

I'm going to take a moment or two out of Halloween Costuming to pull on a cute outfit and do one of the most important things that a girl needs to do at this time of year... I have to head over to the pumpkin patch and pick out this year's perfect specimens to make sure that I have plenty to decorate with and carve... It's time to go Pumpkin Picking... 

Heading over to the Pumpkin Patch at The Main Event, she'd dressed in the most perfect of cute Halloween outfits. It's a HUGE baggy black, knitted sweater - available from Mug at FLF-O-WEEN - adding a pair of bright, fun leggings. Topped off with a brilliant black hat... 
It was so much fun, picking a pumpkin, that I got a little Hallowgirl - an aura from #LuluB! - sparkle in my aura... I found the perfect pumpkins...

Familiarly Changing Faces

Do you ever find yourself looking in the mirror, and hating what you see looking back at you? Do you ever think that you'd like to look more like your Second Life Avatar in RL, or is it just your dolly looking back at you?
Normally Rudh is an extension of me, she's my Barbie Doll... I love everything about the way I've let her become, but sometimes I get paranoid, I over-think and I wonder would my life be any different if I was more like the petite little doll I live through in Second Life... It makes a girl wonder, ya know?!

Rudh still get's worried about the way she looks, I love my face, I love my shape... No matter how many people tell me that I need to change things about myself - the other day I was even told my butt wasn't right - but that kind of thing happens so much in RL. I hate that people try to change others when they themselves are not perfect in the eyes of another... 
I'm sorry but you don't tell me how to look... You don't tell me what I'm supposed to do with my avatar, if I want to make myself look different that's up to me.
