A Dark Adventure in a Time Warp!

It's astounding...  Time is fleeting... Feels like, not long ago... Since Dark Adventures, opened it's doors last year, but now it's time for another go... So listen closely, the new Dark Adventure is on a roll... 
HellBone and I have been working hard, this time of year - like so many others around us - is our favourite time of year and FOR YEARS he (mostly) has been working his ass off to create a special event for people to enjoy... THIS YEAR we based it on one of my favourite movies... So, let's do the Time Warp AGAIN... 

This year the Rocky Horror is celebrating it's 50th Birthday... I have LOVED this quirky, random and crazy world since I first got to see it in my teens and NOW we have a little tribute to Frankenfurter, Riff Raff, Magenta and the humans in our own Dark Adventure!

Hands Off My Burritos!

Saturday Night, a night when I cannot be bothered to cook so sometimes it tends to be a take-out night... Sometimes it's curry, others it's pizza and I wish there could be nights when we could have some traditional English Fish'n'Chips... Yet I think for Hell, the best take-out night would happen to be taco night... We love having delicious tacos and even more delicious burritos, but it always raises the debate of which is better, and that invariably leads to fights lol... 

HellBone thinks that he has the right to help himself to my burritos once he's finished his own taco... He's definitely team taco, and though I love a good taco, I think I'm veering more towards team burrito - as controversial as that might be - because they are easier and make less mess to eat LOL... That's my theory and I'm sticking to it!! 
We decided to show our support for our favourite foods at the Taco Cart today, Hell wearing a taco and me in a burrito, from the Yummigos set that Ananas released for Equal10. We look good enough to eat, but seriously he'd better keep his hands off my burritos...

Wanna go on a Dark Adventure?

Yesterday was the grand opening of our Halloween event creation...
Dark Adventures was born due to a realization that now that the Gators MC is no more, we would miss the super awesome Halloween events that we'd created for the past 8 years. Creating a new team and getting to work in July with HellBone leading the team, we're now more than a little excited to welcome you, strap you in tight and welcome you on our very first Dark Adventure! 
Pack your bags - don't forget spare underwear, I'm told it's pretty scary - we're leaving on the first plane outta here, a round the world tour awaits!! 

The stewardess is here to collect you at the start of the adventure... Follow your fellow companion, Percy the Pigeon, through the maze of an airport until you make it through and can catch your flight... You'll then go on a round the world tour and it will be the ride of your life!! 
Don't keep this air hostess waiting... She's not one to bring you extra blankets on this ride...

Happy Thanksgiving!

 HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my American Friends and Family. 
It's not something that I celebrate since I'm a non-American myself, but this time of year there are so many people making huge feasts and spending time with family that I decided to take that opportunity and force HellBone to have a family meal with me... 

I put some delicious roasted veggies - from vespertine kitchen - and some stuffing and mash with a little bit of that delicious Dust Bunny gravy. I turned around for a moment to get the Turkey out of the oven, and as I turned back to put it on the table I noticed that the little shit was sharing mashed potatoes with our chunky butt, Scruffy Shepherd... 
I LOVE this set up, but I have to say that the poses are something I cannot take credit for... They actually come as a larger group pose that can be used as a single pose - with props - or as a whole for a fun family group pose... It's a pose called "Surviving the Holidays" from -Extra-, and it's perfect, not only for Thanksgiving but Christmas too, since it looks like the kinda family Christmases I'm used to in RL... Don't believe me, look at the pose ad for the whole group set and then try to convince me otherwise...

We Are Family

It's Mother's Day for every where in the world - it seems - besides my home country of England... I sent my Mum some lovely flowers as an extra surprise, but it means that today is a great day to spend some quality family time with those that matter, no matter who they are! 
Luckily, and by a chance in a million, all 6 members of my amazing SL family were online today, and so since Mom has been asking for ages, today was the perfect time to catch a family photo... 

The pose we found is perfect, and kinda lucky too since we're a family of 6, one of which is a little squiddlydiddlykiddly thing - I'm referring to my sister Keke here, although technically even though she's only 4 she passes for someone older than my father and his son-in-law - it's a pose from Glamour Poses called "Family of well-being with life". 
It was so good to get all 6 of us together, it doesn't happen all that often as usually one or another of us is missing. Lucky for our Mommas - Lou and Phe - to get both of their beautiful daughters, and in his opinion their even better looking son-in-law HellBone in one place. We even included the missing member of our family, the brother I never got to meet... Talon... He was with Lou long before I came along, but I'm sure I'd have loved having a big brother like him! He's still got ya back Momma... Watching you from afar! 
Happy Mother's Day to my amazing Moms! I'm so glad I let Daddy date you all those years ago - although we all know you only wanted to do it, so you could have me! - you've become besties, most importants and definitely VIPS in my life... Love you both!!!

Doctors for Desperate Times

Now that the Corona Virus is in full swing and we're all being forced to stay stuck at home - for the best reasons I may say and I'm not knocking the isolation thing trust me - the Doctors and Nurses that are providing care for the sick are getting stretched thin, they've had to call in reinforcements... The Plague Doctors are coming back and they bring some interesting practices with them... 

Their masks make them look daunting, his like a old-school plague doctor, hers without any facial features at all, and all that black is more than a little intimidating... But hey if they have things that will help the sufferers feel better, then that's what counts right?! 
As a side note, as well as these AMAZING outfits from ANTINATURAL, I decided to wear the Dentata ring set from Ama... BUT while I was taking the picture I realised they are teeny tiny, and then I forgot and changed and cleaned up and dammit I didn't do a close up... I hope you can forgive me and instead get a good look at the Ads that were created for these adorably toothy rings...

Fun in the Snow

There's an event that's just opened on the grid called Afterglow. It's an event themed for Adults out there but it's not just about the sex, there's a lot of alcohol and rock'n'roll too... It seems like the perfect event for adults wanting to let loose and have a little fun, and in fact that's exactly what HellBone and I are planning on doing today! Tonight is a much needed date night, but before then, we had time for just a little SL fun in the snow... Hell and Rudh style of course!

See, we've been busy setting up the most gorgeous location for my SL parents wedding in a few weeks, but all that snow was just calling to us. I wanted to build a snowman, but well me being the little deviant that I am ended up making Snow Peen! One of them got a little grassy, but I just couldn't help giggling as the Snow Peen got bigger and bigger - these are an Afterglow release from Hilted by the way. Then I turned around and what do I see... HELLBONE WAS MARKING HIS TERRITORY IN A SNOW PILE! I'm assuming it will say "Gators MC was here" but who knows with HellBone and his terrible spellings hehe. 
Just a side note, the Snow Pile that we're playing with is actually more than a little awesome. It's scripted so that you can write a message in the snow as you pee!!! We all know someone that wants to do this, now they can thanks to FaceDesk at Afterglow!
Now we just have to hope that we don't get murdered by Lou, Chopper or Phe for being naughty in their Winter Wonderland Wedding setting!!! At least we're out tonight lol... Maybe we will get away with it?!

Drinks at Tram Diner

It's not often that I get to spend time with HellBone - for those of you that don't know, he's my hubby - Barbosa, in fact it's less frequent than the ECLIPSE at the moment, but when we do it's nice to just be a couple and not have to worry about RL or SL dramatics... Hell and I have been married for 5 years in RL, after meeting in SL, we don't always have the easiest of relationships but we're united and there's love, and that's what matters at the end of the day right?! 
So for the soon to happen close of the ECLIPSE, HellBone and I stopped at one of those grungy diners and had a few shots of Tequila!!! 

The grungy diner is actually pretty cool, it's one of those old Trams - an ECLIPSE release from DRD - that have been converted to form a retro looking restaurant! They serve junk food and tequila - thanks to a pose from Secret Poses - it was nice to just hang out, and force him to sit still for a few moments while I used him as a model! 
Of course he has his moments, kept trying to interrupt me every time I was about to take a shot of Tequila. I'm not sure if he wanted it all for himself but in the end it was a case of "Wait!" LOL... Drinking buddies are best when they don't come between you and your shot!

Bonnie and Clyde

It's not often that I do pictures with HellBone... He's the kinda guy that gets bored and starts asking "are you done yet?" about five minutes into me playing with the lighting, but sometimes I get a pose that he tells me he wants to do, so I have to seize that opportunity when it comes up! That was exactly the case when he saw a Bonnie & Clyde style pose set I got my hands on... His imagination ran away with him... 

The car is actually a part of the pose set that comes with the NANTRA "Bonnie & Clyde" and the pose above is one of those poses included... We look like we've carried out a bit of a heist with all the extra money HellBone laid around the set, but all in all I think we did a pretty good job at scrubbing up as Bonnie & Clyde... 
Of course, once we had stolen the money, what was the first thing we did... DANCE!!! This was my favourite photo of the shoot... A pose from a set called "Takes Two to Tango" - also by NANTRA - I love this shot of us dancing in the money!! His smirk!

Off to see the Wizard!

As I hinted last night in my Wine'O'Clock post, this weekend has been one of parties for me - since Thursday LOL - and today I am going to relax... Nothing to do but take things easy and maybe sleep a little more as it seems to have cooled down here a little. 
As I may also have mentioned before we were partying for my MC Sister and awesome friend Solde, who turns old this weekend, we had 5 events for her birthday, and the last was the most awesome... Least I think so anyway... The last party we had a little trip to one of her favourite places... OZ! 

HellBone built a special Oz themed ballroom complete with a tornado, munchkins and of course a yellow brick road, so that Solde could become her favourite movie character for just a little while...
As she walked towards Oz with her little HellBone Toto, she was joined by a fabulous Scarecrow, a glamorous Tin Man (Woman) and a Lion with a lot of RAWR, and we all skipped into Oz together... The ladies of the Gators MC!
These costumes are amazing... The best Oz character costumes that I have seen out there, and trust me I looked through a LOT before I found these. I wanted the boys to be the characters with Solde, but it just wasn't working... The costumes were simply not good enough... Then I found these! They are from Lamu Fashion and not only are they perfect - giving Oz that hint of glamour - they had all four characters and it looks like we belong together! Each outfit comes with everything you could possibly need, besides hair and skins of course, now I will admit that we each personalised things a little but for the price you pay they are great!

A moment with Hell

Moments like this do not happen very often but I think that it is time I shared a picture of Hell and I... Just Hell and I... No one else!! Don't look so shocked LOL I know it is rare but I do have moments with my hubby sometimes! Not that often and usually under duress - on his part I might add - but when I eventually get him to stop building, shooting, being a fart machine to entertain his brother Mongo, and he sits still for a few minutes, he actually makes a fairly good model... I have to work fast, he won't remain still for long, but I gotta hand it to him, in recent months my hubby has become pretty hot! 

What started as an argument with Solde prior to her wedding - between Hell and Solde, I was not getting involved in that fight - has now become HellBone constantly shopping, being a fashionista - even if he does really only dress in biker style - and looking pretty good! He's even attracting more attention from the ladies hehe... It's so cute when he gets all unsure if someone is flirting with him LOL...

I'm even more impressed that sitting down like this - using the Come Soon "One" Pose that is available from The Expo until July 27th - that he didn't catch something hehe... The underground bunker that we're on the steps of is the entrance to his special hide-out, the Doody Man cave, which he shares with his brother! There's no way I'd have sat on the steps LOL!!!

Jump in to Release the Feeling!

Saturday was fun... Lazy but fun... 
I even had a chance to hang out with someone that I don´t get to see very often - Sussie - as we hopped around looking for randomly fun things that were going on. It was one of those good evenings, where we stayed up too late having fun, and now in the sunny light of the morning I am left feeling like I've been drinking, without actually having drunk anything LOL...
One swift cure for that... 

The sound of feet on the board-walk, a scream and a splash says it all... The best way to get over that sluggish feeling is to shock yourself a little... I'd imagine that this might have the right effect! 
In RL you'd never see me jumping into the sea like this, I don't really like swimming in the sea - no idea why just never been a fan of it - but Rudh is totally different, she's going to enjoy that cold feeling! Dressed in a Dana Outfit from CandyDoll - available this month at FaMESHed - she took the plunge, I just hope Sussie is around to rescue her on a surfboard!! LOL... 

Pools are better, in my opinion... Perhaps because there are less animals in them?! Though OK the picture doesn't really back that up as someone let Hell and Mongo into our pool LOL...

Nefarious Inventions of the Military

Today has been a quiet day, but something amazing happened... I was going through things that I need to take pictures of - happily minding my own business - when HellBone piped up that he loved one set in particular and could he pose in a photo with things if I needed a model... I almost fell out of my chair LOL... He never, ever likes to pose with me or for me... Most of the time I ask him he spends a lot of time complaining that it takes too long LOL... Today, though, I grabbed the chance... 

He's been changed a bit recently... Wonder if he is trying to impress another woman or something LOL... But he's become a bit of a "fashionista", and OK I used the term lightly because he knows what he likes and won't wear something because it is the hot new fashion, but in the past he only ever changed once in a blue moon! 
His interest was peaked by this awesome set from nefarious.inventions - which I am a little late in blogging but I didn't want to miss out on sharing it with you, especially when an opportunity like this arose! Anyway, the nefarious.inventions inventors created an amazing set of military base style décor called "drafted"... It includes a whole heap of things for a soldier to make his base camp feel like home.

It's taken me a very long time to get to this point, but I  made the decision and took the plunge. It took me HOURS of discussions with myself - my poor head was spinning - and even Hell was done before I was... I tried on many different types, found one I kinda liked and kept trying it on until I loved it... After that there was just one thing holding me back, but thanks to the kindness of a stranger, I was able to stop myself holding back and free fall... 
The funny thing though is that all the time we've been together, Hell and I have always said we'd never be matchy-matchy, in the same way that some twee couples can be... Not that that's a bad thing but I am one of those people that needs to look like an individual and matching my hubby just makes me feel a bit cheesy... Until Now at least... HellBone and I are now Mr & Mrs LOGO Head LOL... 

Before I elaborate on things though, this has to be one of my all time favourite photos of HellBone and I. It shows that sometimes he can be my strength and support, sometimes he can carry me and the vast majority of the time I feel safe too... All these things are shown in this picture, and he made me smile when I asked him to make me a list of what he was wearing and he said "You". 
Now to the head thing... I'd been considering the Mesh Head idea for a while, and had tried on all of the ones I could get my hands on demos for, but somehow none of them seemed right. I wasn't willing to settle for one that I didn't feel comfortable in, but then I stumbled upon the LOGO Chloe head and my mind was made up. I found the head I wanted, the appliers for a Glam Affair Skin that I wanted and then hit another stumbling block... My Scar!!
I wasn't ready to give up my scar - I'm still not - but after summing up some courage I contacted antielle's owner Kaorinette to see if there was any possibility that my favourite non-applier scar could be put into an OMEGA applier... DID YOU KNOW THAT ANTIELLE CLOSED?! I was so sad to find that out - although I know that CURELESS is her new store! She was so gracious, so friendly and so happy to hear that I'd made one of her designs part of my everyday SL that she was willing to lend me a hand - thank you so much Kaorinette, it means so much to me! 

What do you think of my before and after mugshots?! It's going to take me a little bit of getting used to even though things are proportionally the same - or pretty similar at least - but I really like it... Expect to see me pulling all kinds of weird and wonderful faces in the near future hehe... Now that I can smile without it looking evil, I'm going to be doing a whole lot more of that!!!

Three Hot Stooges... Daddy, Hubby & Teddy!

There are a few people in SecondLife that not only root themselves into your SL but also find their way to being important aspects of your everyday RL too... It's not something that happens on a day to day basis, and personally for me, I find it takes me a while of knowing someone before I will share with them all of the intricate details of my RL. I will share titbits of information but getting personal details out of me can be harder to achieve!
Yet there are a few people who forced their way into my RL, in various ways and to various levels LOL...You will no doubt have heard of my bestiface and a few of my besties, my new RL colleague and even someone who put a ring on it LOL... I count myself as VERY lucky, I don't see all of them everyday, but the IMs never stop, and it makes a girl feel great to know that she isn't alone!
While on the subject of never being alone, sometimes it would be great to be without a certain someone - he gives me a headache and makes me work too hard, ain't that right HellBone? - but then I have two knights in shining armour that sweep in and distract him... They're like the three stooges! A hot three stooges! LOL...

I'm talking about HellBone and the two people that he would call his closest friends in SL, Chopper and Mongo... They are two guys that I will say are some of my closest friends too... Always there and able to brighten up a day, even if they are a little too like HellBone in the way they think sometimes LOL...
Chopper is the one that I jokingly call "daddy"... There is a longish story about a time when his RL son was repeatedly saying "Do it Daddy" in the background of his RL, and when I repeated it in SL it was a torture for him as he couldn't respond... It's been a joke between us ever since! There is nothing kinky behind it, I should add before anyone's dirty mind starts to wonder!
Mongo is, and has been for a LONG TIME now, the one that I call my "teddy bear"... He's great for hugs and knows just how to cheer me up, whether he's teaching me how to speak Redneck or just telling me funny stories, he definitely makes me smile.
A love of jokes about poop, a common interest in titties, and three personalities that although different are scarily similar, it's like seeing a set of non-identical twins and their mischief creating big brother!
I love these guys... Thank you for distracting HellBone so I don't kill him LOL... OH, and if you didn't realise it by now, Hell was the one that put the ring on it hehe!

Bearbosa's - Hell's Bear Dealership!

My addiction caused a strange and unexpected shift of my Hubby's attention from creating vehicles to teddy-bears...
Yes you read that right... HellBone started off an interest in a certain brand of teddy-bear that was spawned due to me wanting a collection and the realisation that there is a great demand for these bears...
HellBone now calls himself the Booger Bear Dealer and has started a brand called Bearbosa's!

I started collecting Boogers bears a while ago now, and HellBone seemed to enjoy hunting for them for me... He has now kept on searching for them and has become a "Bear Dealer"... He's a fashionista, an interior designer and now a bear dealer...

OK so let me lay it out for you right now, I am so bored at work in RL that I think I might fall asleep unless I do something... It's also cold and so cold in fact that one of my Dad's favourite silly jokes, "It's as cold as a witches tit", could be justified as a useful expression right now.
So I am day dreaming... Lost in my own little world of wouldn't it be nice to be on a beach with a cold fruity cocktail and a good book right now... The day dream ties in so well with a photo I took the other day that to stop me from making my day dream a sleeping dream, I'm going to ramble on a bit about this picture hehe...

Come Soon Poses make some amazing poses with some really awesome props, and sometimes they are enough to spark the creativity without me even needing too much thought time, but the other day I rezzed one of their epic pose sets - one specially designed for an event which I am ashamed to say has closed now but that you can get the item in the main store - and decided that it was time to play at the beach... Although we, at the Gators, don't have a beach so a sandbox had to do LOL...
Who wouldn't like to be served by three hotties?! I think it was meant for 3 guys with Aesthetic Bodies to be your slaves but in this case I only had one of those - Mongo brought the water hehe - so I get to show you that the pose works perfectly well when used by slaves in other bodies - Hell is in SLINK and Lil is too, but look the slaves can be female!!!
This is soooooo much better than being in the office, and after all what girl doesn't like a little pampering sometimes?!

The Rise of the Zombie Koala!

Goodbye to a friend will not always mean goodbye forever... Today the poor little Coconut Koala was out walking in the dusky light around her home when suddenly the earth opened up and an old friend popped out to say "Hello"... 

The poor little Hula Kola had a bit of a shock, not that you can see it clearly as well, do Koalas have facial expressions? 
I LOVE these little Koalas... You can win them in various colours from lassitude & ennui at the latest round of The Gacha Garden. Both the Coconut Koala and the Zombie Koala are two of the rare examples, but there are so many different ones AND The Seed of Inspiration version is a plushie!! LOVE THAT ONE!! 
Thank you to HellBone though, he had to be the Zombie Koala and to Jackal Ennui for allowing Hell to be a part of my photo today!

Hell is in Flower!

This morning I don't feel like writing about me, today I feel like writing a bit of a tribute post. A post to someone who has recently found a love of one of my favourite SL past-times, and has actually become a little bit of an addict. He constantly asks now if there are any manly sales taking place, and has even been heard to call himself a "Fashionista"... Don't faint please, but I am talking about HellBone LOL... 

Since he had a make-over he has become much more interested in all things shopping and fashion. His SLINK Body has finally - after all this time and so many years of poking - made him see the fun in dressing up his dolly, and there is NO WAY he'd only wear one outfit every day for months like he used to LOL...
It was even so much of a change that when an old friend came to visit the other day, and suggested he needed a beard, not only did he find a beard he chose one with flowers in it!!! What the heck is going on with my hubby?!
It was a photo opportunity that was too much to waste, and the perfect location for that was Wanderstill at Ode, I thought the look wasn't going to last long at that time, but fast forward a few days and he's STILL wearing the beard hehe... Makes me laugh so much to see him like that! Who'd have ever thought it, my hubby, the fashionista LOL!
