A Break from the Games

I'm having a lazy day, I've been chillaxing, doing a few thing that have needed to get done and then tomorrow I get to go to work and deal with idiots again... Right now though I'm going to lay back, relax and enjoy a few guilty pleasures... Play some games, read a book and enjoy some good snacks. Everything is perfect to relax to... I'm happy and peaceful, I haven't felt like this in a while... 

I've had a very very relaxing day... I've dressed accordingly, a HUGE baggy cozy Iman Hooodie - from miss chelsea - and I dropped onto a soft comfy Arcade Couch - from Krescendo - in the Game Room - a backdrop by TROPIX - and I might even have one of those sneaky ciggies that I keep hidden in a Cigarettes Case - from Boutique #187 - stuffed down the back of the couch...

The Queen's Key-per

There are so many royals in the world that I never knew about. That sounds like a silly statement but before I moved to the Netherlands I was totally oblivious to the fact that other countries in the world have monarchies... I LOVE a good fantasy novel, one with a fantasy kingdom ruled by any monarchy is a plus in my mind... There are so many to choose from, but when I grew up I ALWAYS wanted to be one of the Queens of Narnia... I wouldn't want to be a ruling Queen in RL but I could handle being a queen in a fantasy realm... 

I think if I was a Queen of a fantasy realm, I'd definitely be a benevolent queen.... Someone evil and dominating her lands, ruling with magic and modern innovations like her Time Lord Wings - from SHARD - that she'd had made in the Engine Room - which runs until April 20th by the way - and her very own Key Holder Owl pet - from Tardfish - that makes sure she never loses her keys to the treasure vault.

Flower Petals and Leaves

A lovely day off today... It's been a peaceful day, and that was very much needed as I've been going crazy all over the place lately. 
I wanted to slip into a little fantasy place, somewhere that my mind could be restful and enjoy the warm sunshine that is drenching my gardens. The sunshine was making me feel magical, the sunshine made me feel like I could be a fairy in a ruined garden... That was when the magical me came to life... 

Being in the mystical gardens by the Swimming Hole - an older but still a good one from Synnergy.Tavis - the magical Swamp Gazebo - a release from Violetility at Wasteland - appears in the evening sunlight, made more magical today by the solar eclipse. 
There's a leafy imp, part fae, part demon that identifies as a Forest Demon - created using items from Forest Fantasy Store at We Love Roleplay - talking to her Living Leaf Minions - part of the Magic Collection by BROKEN ARROWS - and planning an event of lunar proportions...

Market Day

Happy Sunday, a lazy day for some but for me it's been BUSY as all heck... I've been working today but luckily because it was so quiet I snuck out early and find my way home to make myself something delicious for dinner... 
When I was younger I might have stopped in at my favourite place which was our local market - the market in my little town in RL now is on a Thursday - to get myself some fresh veggies and a nice bit'o'steak... 

One of my favourite places in SL happens to be my home sim... Hell made the gardens amazing, and our homes are set in what I think of as our own little provincial life. Yes I'm singing that in my head as if I'm Belle and I'm dancing around the gardens. We have our own little woodlands, a farm full of animals and a HUGE plant growing garden, but one of my favourite places is the market... I've put all kinds of fruits, veggies and home-made produce, fresh coffee and bread and flowers... 
So on this lovely Sunday afternoon, I went to market.Picking up a gorgeous bouquet of Spring Harvest Tulips - from vespertine at Fameshed - and stuffed my Farm Bag - from Junk Food for the new round of Farmers Market - full of delicious goodies... I maybe be naughty and pick up a cake or something for dessert...

Dance of the Demons

I've been full of so much sweetness, cuteness and colourfulness that I think I've been hiding behind the rainbow happiness and keeping the deep, dark, monstrous side of me hidden way deep down within. I know that my monstrous side ususally comes out when I'm happiest, but right now she's ready to come out to unleash Hell on people that are crossing my path. I love my life, I love my job and I love the things going on but there are just way too many people and I'm totally exhausted... I want to kick some butt, and I think that the monster in me is feeling fiesty... 

Tonight I'm feeling more than a little dark and dangerous, it's going to be an Evil Night there will be blood as the demon in me comes back out to play for the first time in a long time... 
Her Ancient Wings - a gorgeous pair of wings that can be with and without feathers from Aii - springing from her back, her Mephisto Tail - from LVL9 at Engine Room - slithers around her legs, and the matching horns appearing through her hair... It is the wounds on her Scarred Body - from Cubic Cherry, also at Engine Room until April 20th - and her Mercurial Mantis Eve arms - from mercurial, at Engine Room too - that show just how much this angel has fallen. She may still have her feathers but those are the last remnants of her angel days...

Glutton for Chicken Tenders

I have to stop thinking about blogging and what I want to focus on whilst I am hungry... My blog and randomness that goes with it tends to be influenced by my mood as much as by the things that I need to make sure I'm covering. Today, you can probably guess I've been feeling more than a little hungry... 

I am definitely suffering with a case of feeling like a glutton - and if you haven't noticed by now this is my third in the seven sins collection that are fitting the Pitaya Deadly Sins Banners, this follows the Pride and Sloth sins - and maybe it's just because I'm in a yucky mood, but I want a HUGE load of junk food... The idea of burgers are making me crazy, and they dance around my head like a Hangry Halo - from Hangry at the current round of Kustom9 - making things even worse... I HAD to find food, and had to find it fast... Fast Food it is to be, and today sorry to the idea of burgers, I want chicken... I think I'm going to get myself a basket of Chicken Tenders - like the one from Junk Food - and become the glutton I'm destined to be...

This is Fine!

It's April Fools Day and today I wanted to do something to show off how much of an April Fool I could be... It's hard to believe that we're in the fourth month of the year and therefore a quarter of the way through already... It is the busiest season for me at work, and I'm feeling overworked, underpaid and overworked even more... I cannot handle rude, arrogant customers that let their children run wild and eat tasting samples like they are going out of fashion... I know I complain a lot about work right now, and you may not believe that I LOVE my job, I just wish I could do it without the people involved lol... 

Some of you may know that I work in a cheese shop in the middle of Amsterdam, I'm not ashamed to admit it, and I LOVE what I do... There are times though when my colleagues will tell you that I have trouble controlling my expressions and end up plastering what we like to call my "Minion Face" - a HUGE goofy smile - on my lips... 
I am exhausted, frustrated and wanting to run away, but all of that is buried deep inside and on the outside "This is Fine" - just like the set from MadPea, available until April 5th at equal10 - I'm going to just work my butt off and try to make things work and no-one will know that I feel bad on the inside... 
The drama in my mind aside I got some SUPER exciting news the other day and I'm finally able to share it since everything is set in place... I CAN TELL YOU THAT I'M NOW OFFICIALLY BLOGGING FOR MADPEA!!!!! I newarly fell of my chair a few days ago when I saw the message, but now I'm just dancing on clouds abou it.. YAY N STUFF!!!
