Queen Mab... Moth Oracle

I've had a day at home to create a little magic, and as it's getting closer and closer to Halloween, I NEED to let some of that magic out to play... I have no idea what I will be wearing on Halloween itself this year, but I admit that I'm pretty stumped for ideas this year... It never happens, though I will admit I saw someone post on facebook about how this year is less Octoberish than an October is supposed to be and I can't agree more... WHY CAN'T I GET MORE HALLOWEENY ALREADY??!
Maybe some Dark Magic will help me along the way... I'm going to have to ask the spirits for help with this one... 

The oracle known as Queen Mab is one with the moths - she's also a mask and halo set from Tardfish, for the soon to close Nightshade event - and can be found in the darkest parts of the Living Forest - which is a backdrop from The Bearded Guy - and if asked nicely, she may be willing to consult the oracle moths on their creepy skull for advise, guidance and maybe even a peek into the future...

A Cute Fairy Forest

I've been a little bit on the nervous side today since HellBone has been in the hospital, and in times like that when I'm trying to distract myself I tend to vere towards something pretty, something magical and maybe something fairy-orientated! 
Funnily enough that's precisely what happened... I found myself drifting to a magical place in the depths of the fairy wood... 

I couldn't resist decorating a fairytale grove with some Glorious Grove items - from the new collection by Krescendo at FaMESHed - and once the decorating party was started I simply couldn't resist the free gifts of Sun Balloons - that have been set out by MadPea for the anniversary round of FaMESHed this month - that brought a little sunshine to my clearing in the woods...

Fairy Cakes for Dinner!

Keukenhof - the national tulip gardens in the Netherlands - has officially opened now, and there are SO MANY PEOPLE visiting the Netherlands, making work a busy, stressful, crazy place so that now I'm back home all I want to do is drift off into a fantasy place where I don't have to deal with people... 
I want to hide in a garden, eat cake and be in a magical place to relax and have a little fun... 

In a Secret Garden - which happens to be an older but awesome backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - my normal human form slipped away and the fairy version of me was able to come out to play for a change... Sitting pretty in the garden on one of the most Fleur Swings - which happens to be a pose and prop from Secret Poses at Bloom - in the beautiful garden, she welcomes the cutest collection of fairy friends who provide her a dinner of the most wonderful collection of Fairy Cakes...

What is it? A Snoring Monster!

Apparently today is National Nap Day... Since it's a National Day, there is no way that anyone can argue and it's in the rules that we HAVE to obey the national day right? 
I decided to take a day to follow this rule and curl up somewhere quiet with an amazing book, so that I could get lost in the fantasy world within the pages. On lazy days like this, I often find myself slipping deeper into the book's pages and sometimes even let myself slip off to dreamland... Since it's National Nap Day, I guess today it's definitely allowed!!! 

While I curled up and slept, I was doing the proverbial 'catching of Z's' as my mind drifted off into a dreamland with a touch of whimsy - like the amazing backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis... 
My snoring slowly drew attention of the local folk... Each of these little creatures sneaking from the pages of the dreamland world, each with their own story to tell... The adorable little Forest Sprites - from Aardvark, available until March 18th at the Farmers Market - that have a penchant for mushrooms, and like to sprout them on their heads for good luck. The Baby Corgi - from North Oak that is available until March 20th at The Fifty - who wears lots of different hats that take him on magical adventures. The cute little fairies and the other magical beings, all sneaking closer for a better look at the snoring strange monster... Luckily, one of the forest sprites was a little braver, plucking a twig from the nearby Sakura trees - the Sakura Branches are a gorgeous release from Half-Deer at Anthem - to poke the monster and see if she wakes up...

Choices, Choices, which door do I choose?

Halloween has finally left the building, although I don't think it will ever fully be gone from my corner of the world. Though there is lots of magic still swirling around in the air, and I know that since Rudh is always into the magical arts, that there will ALWAYS be plenty of magic and monsters and darkness... Yet right now, as the Halloween magic fades away Rudh has a choice, is she going to be playing more on the darkside of the magic, or will she be able to follow to the light?

Standing before the doors in the Library of Portals - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - she has to make her decision before the doors are able to close and block the magic for a while. The dark side is hoping to lure her in with it's beautiful collection of skulls and devious little monsters, but the good side is offering up sparkles and magic tricks and everythig that's cute and adorable! 
Which door should I take? Which is the right path for me... You know it's such a hard choice to make!!!
