Wrong Turn!

Having fun at the beach is always fun. I LOVE being on the beach in a storm, I love collecting seashells and sea glass, I love gazing into the distance and watching the waves... My mother could spend HOURS floating around in the sea, I don't like to swim in the sea though because I'm a little on edge about the fishies lol... Some people LOVE being sporty on the beach with running or some extreme watersports. I've even seen places where you can zorb on the water...

While I sat on the beach buried in a book, Rudh decided to try her hand at zorbing, slipping into the Giant Ball - created by MadPea, and available until September 8th at ACCESS - and running around on the waves... 
After a little while all that running made her start to feel tired. She fell in the ball and within minutes she was caught up on the tied, swept away on an adventure, taking a wrong turn on the current she ended up floating further away than anyone would have ever realised... 
Dressed for the beach and not for the snow, it's hard to get the penguins - an older release from Jian that could come in handy soon since the winter is coming fast - to take her seriously... Anyone know how to ask for directions home in penguin?!

Happy Christmas from Rudhellowen

 As we get closer to the big day, I feel a little sentimental... I miss my family so much, and I guarentee that I am one of a million people feeling this way, and there are so many more out there with worse situations that I kinda feel bad for moping about it. I have to be a big girl, I'll see family very soon, and have to make the best of this bad situation... 
I finally managed to persuade HellBone that we should do something Christmassy together... We're not very couply, as a couple, and we're not very Christmassy, BUT as it's the done thing, we decided to let ourselves get a little Krampussy... 

Some of you may well recognize this setting... HellBone and I had created this room for the Dark Adventure that we created for Halloween in October. The Krampus was kind enough to let us move into his home just to get our Christmas groove on, and pose for a not very Christmassy couples picture. 
A way to send a message to our friends, family and many acquaintences in Second Life, a VERY Happy Holidays no matter what you are doing to celebrate. Things can and will get better, things can and will change and we will get past these feelings of doom...

Isn't MyMermaid Pretty?

ANNNNNNNND I'm back to playing with a totally different feeling when it comes to my blog... I always say it goes in cycles LOL, now I'm back in the realm of the pretty, fairytale me! Sorry everyone, you should know that you never know what you're going to get, and maybe that's the beauty of my blog, it's like a lucky dip every post LOL... 
I went fairytale Rudh style today... The mermaid in me wanted a day in the spotlight and well, how could I deny her... 

Isn't she pretty? All girlie pastel colours and with the most amazing little fish friends that follow in her bubbles! I guess I'm feeling a little inspired since I saw Aquaman last night - the girl in that has a LOT of Ariel about her, dontcha think? The bright red hair colour! It was the fluorescent lighting of the magical cities that made me most impressed - if you discount Jason Momoa being a massive PHWOAR factor! 
The look really came about because of these adorable MyMermaid Shorts from MuggleBorn, and obviously anything hinting at a mermaid means mine will be screaming to be allowed to play in it! From there it was a slippery slope to walking on land style Mermaid - the fishnet set from Vanilla Bae becoming a barely there top and the Half-Deer Mermaid's Majesty tiara topping off the look! 
Now because there are some things that should be seen a little more clearly, like the amazing eye make-up from PSYCHO.Byts, and the cute pose from {NANTRA} I'm going to be a good girl and share the ads with you here too... Don't ever tell me I don't spoil you hehe...

FOOOOOD... Now with Added Eyes!

There are gacha events galore now days in SL... So many that sometimes it's hard to keep up... Fantasy Gacha Carnival is now on, The Epiphany just closed, OMGacha was a few weeks back, and the behemoth that is The Arcade is just around the corner but The Gacha Garden is the one that caught my eye recently...
There is some simply adorable stuff out there at this gacha event, but as per usual there is always one thing that I simply have to have, that I cannot live without now I know it's out there in SL and that I am willing to feed the machine like a gambling addict to get...
This time it was the turn of Moon Amore! Curse you for the adorable stuff you filled your gacha with... but OH how I love you for making these hehe...

The Moon Amore item that has me raving like a crazy person - which OK is normal but in this case I was far more crazy than was perhaps necessary - was the amazing PsyFood Gacha Items, which you can win yourself at the Gacha Garden this month. It's the fault of the Burger... I WANTED THE BURGER SO BAD!! Luckily due to the fact that it is a Rare, I managed to get myself a full set and then some - so if you want one and aren't picky as to which I can give you one LOL...
That opened a strange door in my mind to the idea of making a look that involved fast food LOL, and lots of it!
I wore a top from B.C.C that I'd had laying in wait for an opportunity like this. The Kata Tank Top with it's awesome slogan - which reads "A Balanced Diet is Pizza in each hand" - was something I grabbed at a past round of the Kawaii Project, but then when I teamed it with the amazing Junk Food Tights from Sugar Heart it just seemed like the perfect outfit for this fast food picture!
All it needed was accessories... That's where I seem to excel, especially when it comes to crazy accessories! I added a little more Burgerishness to the photo by wearing a Burger Time bow from Atomic in my hair and a Hamburger Bangle from CandyDoll, then to finish the look I gave a nod to my hubby in the form of this T-Bone ring from Lost Junction... Long story but T-Bone is his RL Biker road name!
The location couldn't be more fitting too for a number of reasons... ONE it's Gachatopia! If you're looking for something gacha related this is a damn good place to check. TWO it's the diner! Where better than to take pictures of food than at the diner?!

Kawaii Slime?!

2015 is already well under way... It doesn't feel any different from a few days ago - although I am disappointed to remind everyone that 2015 is not as Back to the Future predicted - BUT I have spent the last two days shopping in SL to feed my January Sales addiction without actually hitting any sales LOL...
Surprisingly for me I haven't found myself heading into too many dark and depraved looks, if you can forget the hook picture from before LOL, but it's only day three of a new year, there's plenty of time for that yet! 

One of those things that I had to have as soon as I saw it advertised was this sweater from INVADER. Now I will say that this is a totally new store for me, I've never heard of it before, I found it randomly through the past Fi*Friday event, and plan on heading over to hit up their main store very soon... Soon as I have some more cash that is hehe... 
Though it wasn't only that that had me kawaii-ish excited... This new hair from Ploom, which you've seen here before, just seemed to fit so well with the look I was drawn towards. Although it was the accessories that really got me excited. 
I've had the Seal Pup - from Alchemy - for a while now, they were available as gacha items, and I think this one was a gift from Jimmy. They come in a collection of different animal costumes, but seriously HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE A DUCKIE?! 
The bag however, could get me into a little trouble... I'm SO LATE sharing this that I have a funny feeling that Iokko may spank my butt - although it's not punishment if you enjoy something hehe... The Pack's Trail - based on the Packman Game - are shoulder bags featuring the Packman Ghosts... These Ghost bags are available through the store yumyums - hence why it is Iokko that might spank me - but you can still grab them until January 5th at the Level Up's Retro line-up... 
Damn look at the time I cannot stop to chat any longer, I NEED to finish my friend's wedding photos dammit... LOL... Toodles!!!

Death Becomes Her

GUESS WHO IS BACK?!! I'll give you one guess... It isn't very hard to guess LOL... That's right! ME!!! Didya miss me? No?
I am so glad to be back, and although I loved every second of my time away, being back here and getting to grips with my addiction again is AWESOMESAUCE!
I have so many pretty things to share with you... Some depraved and evil, some pretty and candylicious and a fair few dressed up looks this month I'm sure!

This picture for example is one of a few that may well spill out of the contents of the Horror Haute organised "Death Becomes Her" Event...
The Death Becomes Her Event is a special event from my favourite macabre team, and I will happily admit that it seems to be a rather exciting shopping experience. Anything you buy from the DBH - because it was getting too much for lazy me to keep re-typing the event's name everytime - line-up will earn you a special token. This can be used during a special hunt in the DBH maze... You hunt for a prize created by that store! It sounds complicated, but trust me, it will make sense when you read the details and then you will recieve all the LMs you need to get there too!!
For now though let's talk about the outfit shall we... I went for a kinda girlie but dead look, sounds a bit typical for me now! Though I will admit that the Horror Haute thing always drags out my living dead girlie side... The dress comes from abrasive, called Already Dead, and I had to team it with a dark coloured skirt. I made that pretty ballerina look complete using the shoes from the ImmateriA "Livide Ballet" outfit - the outfit is white, as are the ballet pumps but there are a few different colours of skin tone too and I got lucky and found my perfect colour fit! The for the BLOOD!!! Can't have Horror Haute without Blood! My Ama blood splatters were very needed, but to give that death feeling I hung myself with a balloon from Laudnum Lollipops, ironically called "Ironic Fate". One of my favourite things from the event is the SongBird Mask of the Dead, with it's skin covered hand held mask and it's bloody wound in the face where the mask has been ripped away... So perfect for a Death Becomes Her look!
